Chapter 59: Spear me the Annoyance

Dragon Mountain…

"Sairaorg, get going!" Naruto shouted as he hardened his body with Iron Body and Armament haki, his chest getting slashed by Atalanta's sacred gear, tearing open his shirt and leaving light cuts. 'She cut through my defenses?'

Naruto punched Atalanta in the face, making her spin dozens of feet away, but she flipped herself to land on her feet, stopping her momentum by stabbing the ground with her weapons.

"Naruto, we aren't going to leave you!" Sairaorg stated as he stepped forward, only to see Vali, Robin, La Fey, Biko, and Arthur step before them.

"I think it would be wise to listen to the young man, Bael." Robin said calmly with a sincere smile, crossing her arms before her in preparation to attack if need be.

"Get out of our way!" Sairaorg demanded as he glared at Vali. "I won't ask again!"

"You will have to force me, Bael." Vali said as he donned his balance breaker, threatening any of Sairaorg's peerage to do anything.

Meanwhile, Sakazuki ignored everything around him, focusing solely on Kisame and Cadmus.

"This won't be much of a fight." Sakazuki stated as his right hand darkened before smoke rose from his shoulder before his shoulder started to warp and liquify before it turned into a large column of magma with a giant fist.

The temperature around him grew exponentially as the snow melted and steam rose in the cold air.

Kisame smirked as he let Samehada go, with it still on his back and he looked at Cadmus, which Cadmus returned.

"Let's go with tactic C." Kisame chuckled as he returned his attention to Sakazuki.

Cadmus smirked.

"Perfect." He said as Kisame made a Ram hand sign, his cheeks bulging.

Sakazuki gasped, and raised his arm to attack Kisame before he finished the jutsu.

"Water Style: Super Exploding Water Shockwave!" Kisame shouted as he spewed forth water from his mouth.

What could be considered as a 1/10000 amount of the ocean shot in all directions, hitting everyone and the water gathered, forming a massive bubble.

Sakazuki felt his body temperature go down as his magma was instantly turned to stone, and broke off his arm, not negatively in harm, but to protect himself from any potential damage as he was encased in stone, still awake, but unable to move unless he was willing to risk his life.

Naruto and Atalanta, sadly were swept up into this bubble while Vali's team and the peerage were safely out of its range by a mere three meters.

"SHIT NARUTO!" Kuisha shouted as she saw Naruto struggle to hold his breath.

She shot forward to jump in to save him, but multiple arms appeared on her body and grasped her, keeping her from moving.

"LET ME GO!" Kuisha shouted at Robin.

"It's dangerous in there. Leave it…"

"NARUTO CAN'T SWIM!" Kuisha shouted, making Robin's eyes widen and she instantly undid her arms, allowing Kuisha to jump in, followed shortly by Sairaorg, Regulus, Coriana, Misteeta, Liban, Beruka, Gandoma, and Ladora.

"They are crazy to think they can survive in that dense water." Arthur stated in amusement, and a bit surprised.

Kisame cackled as he unfurled Samehada's bandages, revealing its scaly form with its wide mouth, gargling bubbles as it started to fuse into Kisame's arm.

"This is going to be a fun hunt." He stated as the fusion between master and sword became complete.

Kisame grew larger, his dorsal fin extended as his face became more shark like. He grew a long tail and large fins on his elbows while the blue scales that covered his body lightened in color.

Cadmus, who was closest to Kisame, made a slow scratch motion against Kisame's back, lodging multiple scales into his fingers.

As his blood soaked into the water, Cadmus was able to breath as gills formed on his neck, his hands became webbed and his upper clothes were torn when he grew a dorsal fin as his face partially became like Kisame's.

"Oh, thank god I inherited my ancestor's absorption ability." Cadmus mused as he and Kisame swam through the water with ease. "You doing fine, Atalanta?"

Atalanta, who was not in the best mood, was able to breath thanks to her metal mask, bubbles funneling out of it with each successful breath she took.

'Focus on your target you idiot.' Atalanta thought as she ignored her cousin.

Naruto, through all of this, sank to the ground, barely awake now that he was submerged under water.

His lungs were screaming at him for oxygen as the water pressure from the dense cold water worsened. His ears were popping and he felt fear taking over his mind.

He opened his eyes and saw Kuisha and the others trying to get to him.

Naruto reached out to them not feeling Atalanta behind him.

Meanwhile…

"NOOOO!" Kurama shouted as he watched the action on Dragon Mountain on a crystal ball Irene had, thanks to her mastery of different magics.

"What are you going to do, Kurama?" Irene asked curiously as she knew what he was possibly thinking.

"I need to help him!" Kurama said as he sat down, crossing his legs and clapping his hands together.

"Hey, HEY! You know that if you do that it could leave a trace that leads here to the Island Turtle, right?" Irene pointed out to make sure Kurama was for sure he wanted to do this.

Kurama didn't even respond as he powered up.

'Naruto!' he thought as he focused as his eyes became fully red.

Dragon Mountain…

Naruto's eyes widened, glowing red as Atalanta closed the distance, her claws poised to skewer him through the throat, but to be sent through the water from Naruto's tail hitting her.

'What is this?' Atalanta thought as she felt herself get slightly sick from the rapid spinning. 'The power behind that strike didn't feel the same as before.'

Atalanta gasped when she saw Naruto above her, hand raised above his head, finger extended and coated in haki.

Atalanta, despite being in dense water, was able to block with one of her hands, her sacred gear, palm and shoulder pierced by the Finger Pistol.

'He broke through Ungues Septentriones like they were not even there.' Atalanta thought as her sacred gear on her right hand cracked further as Naruto pulled his finger back.

Kisame, Sakazuki, and Cadmus could feel this change and turned to see Naruto kick Atalanta, his Tempest Kick pushing her away from him before he turned to them, his eyes glowing through the water.

Cadmus was enraged seeing his younger cousin injured, and in said rage, swam at Naruto, baring his newly acquired shark fangs.

"YOU BASTARD!" Cadmus shouted as he went to kill Naruto.

Kuisha, through the water, raised her hand towards Naruto.

She created a Hole, intending to use her familial magic to protect Naruto, only for Cadmus to avoid and grab Naruto.

'NO!' She thought as she shouted under water, losing the breath she had been holding.

Naruto didn't even move as Cadmus prepared to tear him apart.

"Cadmus, WAIT, IT'S A TRAP!" Kisame shouted before Naruto unleashed his Conqueror's spirit.

Everyone present could feel it.

A massive fox of unparalleled power appeared before each and every person, yokai, and dragon in a four-mile radius of Naruto.

Kisame, so overwhelmed, lost control of his jutsu, causing the water bubble to burst, sending water down the mountain, clearing away the snow and making everyone shiver due to the blizzard and them being wet.

Naruto alone stood tall as Cadmus stood there, fishman transformation and mouth open to kill him, collapsed as he shook, his eyes rolled into the back of his head as all of them took gasps of air due to them being nearly drowned.

Sakazuki broke through his stone imprisonment and took a knee.

'Such power in a mere fifteen-year-old…' He thought as he resisted the pulse of power better than the others. 'But that is not something that is normal…'

Naruto didn't move, not even to transform into his human form as he stood still, his eyes coated red.

"*GASP* Naruto!" Kuisha shouted as she pushed her pained riddled body to get to him. "Naruto, what's wrong?"

She toughed his cheeks, and he didn't show any signs of life.

"Something is wrong." She gasped in worry as she started to panic.

Atalanta appeared beside Kuisha, her shadow not being concealed and Kuisha spun around, making a Hole where Atalanta's sacred gear covered hand passed through, the second hold appearing on the left side of her face.

'Shit!' Atalanta thought with wide eyes as she tilted her head enough before she struck her own face, destroying her mask before she hit the ground.

"YOU BITCH!" Atalanta shouted as she tried to cover her face with her hand. "YOU BROKE MY MASK!"

She jumped from the ground, revealing her face.

From the middle of her lips to the left side of her cheek, her mouth had been horribly scarred, her lip and cheek flesh appearing to have been violently carved out, showing her teeth.

Atalanta felt the gravity around her pull her back into the ground, Kuisha and Naruto collapsing with Cadmus being affected as well as Liban had them in his sight, having activated his sacred gear: Gravity Jail.

"I'm sorry Kuisha, Naruto. But please, bear with it for a bit longer!" Liban shouted to reassure them it was him.

"Good job, young man." Sakazuki stated as he got up, fully restored to his previous form as molten magma bubbled from his hand. "Hold them down, and I will kill them."

"Ocho Fluer…" Robin gasped as she crossed her arms, eight arms appearing on Sakazuki, coated in magic to resist the intense heat of the Magma Kupua's body. "Clutch!"

Sakazuki felt his body get grabbed by the eight arms, restricting his movements.

"Reinforcement magic!" La Fey shouted, her magic circle appearing under Sakazuki and reinforcing Robin's technique with her own magic.

"DAMN!" Sakazuki shouted.

Arthur grabbed a rock and threw it straight into Liban's face, hitting him outside the head, breaking his concentration and breaking the gravity on the group.

"That should hold him a bit, hurry, grab Atalanta, Cadmus, and Kisame before he breaks free!" Robin shouted as Vali and Biko got up, Vali's base Divine Dividing providing flight and Biko using his staff to extend.

"Sorry, Naruto, but we got to go!" Biko shouted as he landed next to Naruto and Kuisha, grabbing Atalanta and Cadmus.

Vali grabbed Kisame, who was still fused with Samehada.

'Bastard is going to steal my magic, but if will help him recover.' Vali thought in irritation as he grabbed Kisame, instantly feeling a small continual stream of his magic being sapped.

Robin bit her lip as Sakazuki fought to break free.

"La Fey, cast the teleportation spell." Robin ordered. "I can hold him on my own…"

Not arguing, La Fey dropped her spell and started to cast the teleportation spell.

"YOU WON'T GET AWAY!" Sakazuki shouted as he morphed his human form into magma, slipping through Robin's grasp.

"LA FEY!" Robin shouted as she realized Sakazuki was going to cut off their escape route.

La Fey finished her preparation and tapped the ground with her staff.

Several magic circles appeared under the awake members of their group, and they vanished with the unconscious members.

Sakazuki growled as he returned to human form.

"Naruto…"

He turned and saw the peerage around Naruto, who was face first into the ground, his head tilted to the side as he didn't respond to them calling his name.

His eyes slowly faded and returned to normal as his body slowly shrank and returned to human form.

"Is it over?" Mamezuka asked, since he had fled the moment Kisame summoned the water.

"Yeah, its over." Sakazuki answered as he felt anger boiling in his guts. 'That increase of power was not normal. I shall report this to the Union.'

"Bael." Sakazuki called out to Sairaorg. "Tell Otsutsuki I am returning to the Union. Something has come up so I won't be able to continue monitoring him."

Sairaorg felt slight relief for Naruto, knowing he would be happy to hear Sakazuki was leaving.

"It's Naruto Bael, Akainu." He replied respectfully. "But I will let him know."

Sakazuki nodded, and then vanished back to the Union headquarters.

Island Turtle…

"Oh, thank Buddha I was able to help." Kurama sighed as he became a puddle. "And the trace didn't last long."

Irene sighed as she left Kurama be.

"You are such a damn weirdo, Kurama." She stated, which he ignored since he was happy his grandson was safe.

"Kurama."

Kurama turned and saw Nathan.

"What?" Kurama asked.

"We have an issue at the ring that needs… settling." Nathan said in honest sadness, since he knew this issue was stupid and asking Kurama for help was an annoyance.

"Ugh, what happened?" Kurama asked as he stood up.

"The fighters are not following the rules, so when the referee called them out and told them to follow the rules… an all-out brawl started and the contestants killed the referee." Nathan explained.

Kurama was pissed.

"Lead the way." Kurama said as he followed Nathan, now having to blow off steam that was not his.

Next day…

"Is Naruto going to be okay, Asia?" Koneko asked as she stood with Irina, Ravel's Peerage, Sairaorg's Peerage, and Rias as they stood in Naruto's room.

Asia had her hands on Naruto's head, glowing green as she ran diagnostics on him.

"He is going to be okay, but…" Asia answered, trying to find the words to speak, but the pressure from so many people making it difficult. "There seems to be someone else's power inside of him. Its small, and getting smaller, but that is what is making him sleep."

"Can you remove it?" Sairaorg asked desperately as he held Kuisha, keeping her from reacting in any physical way that could be violent.

"I'll try." Asia replied nervously as she closed her eyes and focused.

Naruto's Mind…

Naruto sat in a large puddle of water.

As far as he could see, there was darkness, his devil night vision helping him see a few meters ahead.

"Hm…" Naruto hummed as he could not recognize where he was.

"So, we… finally meet in person."

Naruto turned and saw a wispy flame.

It was magenta in color with crimson tips as it vaguely took the form of a man from the waist up, no arms.

"Who are you?" Naruto asked as he reached out, touching the flame.

It didn't burn him. It felt cool to the touch and was comforting in a very familiar way that Naruto hadn't felt in a long time.

"Huh, seems I don't have much time here." The flame said as it drastically lost nearly half of its mass. "But that is no surprise."

"Who are you?" Naruto repeated.

The flame face smiled as it got smaller again, now mostly just the jaw line and the mouth.

"I am here, watching over you, Naruto…" it said before it vanished, the flame dying out, leaving him alone.

Naruto was alone.

Naruto pouted.

'Jerk didn't even tell me who he was.' He thought as he closed his eyes, feeling very warm as a lime green light flickered to life and got brighter, enveloping him in its soothing glow.

Outside…

Naruto's eyes opened and then he yelped in pain as something smooth hit his head.

"Ow, ow, ow…" He chanted before he sat up and felt something hit his lap.

"What is…" Naruto muttered before his eyes widened.

In his lap was a large dragon egg. It was white with violet dragonic markings on it.

"Is that what was inside of Naruto?"

Naruto jumped, looking around and had finally took notice of everyone else, who jumped in response to Naruto's erratic movements.

"I think it was." Asia answered as she touched the egg. "It feels the same."

"Can… can I keep it?" Naruto asked dumbly.

"Naruto!" Kuisha, Coriana, and Misteeta shouted as they swarmed him, all of them hugging him.

The egg rolled off the bed and was caught by Kuroka, who sighed in relief.

"I'll go put this in an area where it won't break, nya." Kuroka announced as she walked away, not really wanting to but knowing it was best to not mess with the Bael Peerage.

Kyoto…

Yasaka lay in bed, recovering from her shock and the injuries she sustained during the incident in the Underworld.

"Mommy, you doing better?" Kunou asked as she and Sengoku entered her room.

"Yes, dear, I am feeling better." Yasaka answered as she put on a brave face. "Just exhausted."

"I am sorry I was unable to help you, My Lady." Sengoku apologized for the umpteenth time since she returned home.

Yasaka waved this off.

"Again, it is not your fault. Orochimaru… he got me overwhelmed and I didn't act dignified, so these injuries were deserved." Yasaka repeated.

Sengoku wept lightly as he nodded his head again.

"Now, Kunou, how are you doing as temporary leader?" Yasaka asked her daughter.

Kunou puffed out her chest and smiled proudly.

"Everything is going smoothly, thanks to grandpa Sengoku!" She announced.

"Oh, it is?" Yasaka asked with a proud smile as she patted Kunou's head.

"She is a good leader." Sengoku replied. "I just nudged her in the right direction. Just like I had to do with someone else in this room when they were anointed leader."

Yasaka sighed and lay down, Kunou snuggling into her breasts as she did.

"Yeah, I definitely needed your he…" Yasaka started to say before she grabbed Kunou and jumped away from the wall, before the wall exploded and Sengoku stepped between the hole and his leader and the princess.

"Well, well. It is definitely a good thing you are injured, Yasaka." A cocky male voice said as they and a small group walked through.

"Who are you!" Sengoku demanded as he prepared to fight.

The man grinned as he tapped his spear against his shoulder.

"Who am I?" He asked as he held his spear in preparation to attack. "I am a hero."

Chapter 58, DONE!

Atalanta's SG, Ungues Septentriones, is a bear spirit SG.

Cadmus has abilities like Absorption Man from Spider Man or the Parasite from DC. I feel its more like the Parasite.

Yes, I know the last several chapters have been dull, and I feel like this story is not really good anymore.

I want to finish this story, so I will try to continue. But, if you feel like it isn't worth continuing, let me know.
