"You know you guys didn't have to drop us off, right?" Nenet asked as she, JJ, and Nico made their way towards the castle. Walking along with them were their parents, who had insisted on coming along to drop them off for some reason. Nenet wasn't really sure why. It wasn't like they were going to get lost or anything. She had been to this dimension plenty of times before.

Basteta smiled. "We know. But what's so wrong about wanting to drop our babies off to their titan ass kicking class?" she asked. Both she and Junji had some free time, so they figured why not drop off the kids to their training?

"Yeah, we wanna be supportive after all. Plus I haven't been here in a long time," Junji said looking around. He and Micah had been given scissors so they could travel to mewni and visit Astro years ago, but with them all getting older, having their own jobs and families, they didn't get to use them as often. They mostly talked through mirror calls and online games.

Nenet and JJ shared a glance, while Nico clicked his tongue. The three supposed that since their parents knew King Astro it made sense, but they hoped that they didn't do anything too embarrassing. As they reached the gates, they were greeted by the sight of Astro, who was standing with his arms crossed. "Junji, good to see you again," he said nodding towards his old friend.

"Long time no see man," Junji said, walking up and bumping fists with him.

Astro then narrowed his eyes at Basteta."Basteta… Still corrupting the youth of Earth with your degenerate ways?"

"Sure am, Assholerosa. And I see ya still walking around with that stick up ya ass.

"You fucking—"

"Go choke on sandpaper co—"

"Guys!" Junji said, sighing. Even after all these years they had never learned to get along. They only seemed to restrain themselves for Junji's sake.

"Am I to assume that you're going to be staying to watch the kids?" Astro asked.

"Nah, they're just dropping us-"

"Well, actually I think we can spare a little bit of time to stay and watch," Junji said, cutting Nico off. "I mean it's not like we have anything else on our schedule."

Basteta smiled. "That sounds like a pretty damn good idea actually. I wanna see if you're teaching my babies the proper way to kick ass, or if I've been wasting my time letting them come here," she said.

The kids looked more than a bit surprised to hear their parents would be staying to watch, while Astro raised an eyebrow. "I was sort of only asking Junji, but I suppose if you want to stay and watch too then… well, I won't say you're welcome. Just try not to get in the way," he said.

Basteta scowled at him. "Funny King Asshole. You just hope I don't drop your ass in front of all your kids," she said bluntly.

"I'm terrified," Astro said sarcastically, turning around to walk inside. "Please don't try and back seat teach while you're here either. I don't need-" His tail suddenly whipped up and knocked away the knife that came whizzing at him. He looked over her shoulder and scowled towards Basteta. "Really?" he asked.

"Just wanted to make sure you weren't getting rusty from all the time ya spend sitting on that throne of yours," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Astro rolled his eyes and kept walking, and the kids all glanced at one another curiously.

Once they were inside, they saw the others already waiting. "Uncle Junji? What are you doing here?" he asked, confused.

Wisteria raised an eyebrow. "Who's the mewman and the Beastin lady?" she asked.

Basteta held her hands out. "What's up kiddies, the name is Basteta. The mother of these three little badasses right here," she greeted.

Junji stepped forward and waved at them. "Hey everyone, I'm Junji. We're Nenet, JJ, and Nico's parents. It's nice to meet-" Junji suddenly tripped and fell forward.

Basteta reached out and caught him by the back of the shirt before he hit the ground. "Yeah, that's definitely JJ's dad…" Pavo said, crossing his arms.

Basteta lifted Junji back up to his feet. "Awww, Scales. All these years and ya still falling for me," she said before kissing his cheek.

Lacerta smirked and crossed his arms. "Well, look at that. You guys brought mommy and daddy to watch today. Better not get your butts kicked. That'd be super embarrassing," he said chuckling.

"Yeah, keep talking lizard boy. I'll end up kicking your butt up and down this courtyard," Nenet said cracking his knuckles.

Basteta looked down at Lacerta, then smiled before leaning down and whisptering something in his ear. The young titan looked confused, and then his eyes went wide. "What the hell?" he muttered, looking at her confused.

"Just something to think about," she said, smirking. She then looked towards the rest of the King's Crew. "And I guess this is ya little gang Nenet was talking about. Don't ya'll look like a ragtag group of troublemakers." She looked over them intently, crossing her arms as she took them in. "Hmmm, I like the big one best."

Junji looked at Sandor and Wisteria. "Oh, you guys must be Slick and Breeze's kids right? Dorado's friends. It's nice to meet you," he said.

Sandor waved towards him lazily. "Hey."

Wisteria smirked. "Nice to meet you. Also nice to know where JJ gets it from."

Junji paused. "Uh… thank you?" He wasn't sure how he was supposed to take that, but he guessed he'd go with a compliment for now.

JJ rushed forward and swung his fist towards Pavo, who stepped back and narrowly avoided it. Unlike his brawl with Raza last time, JJ found himself having to take a more offensive approach. The Incubus seemed talented when it came to mid and long ranged magical attacks, so JJ tried to stay on him and give him no breathing room.

He kept swinging at him, and Pavo continued to just barely avoid the blows. "Looks like you've gotten a bit more fired up since your last trip here," Pavo commented, a smirk on his face. He had clearly been more eager to get into combat and see how he would fare after what he'd picked up last time.

JJ smiled and opened his mouth to respond, but a voice cried out. "Yeah! That's it! Go get him baby!" Basteta yelled from the sidelines. "Go for his feet! Sweep the legs!"

The boy stopped and looked over toward his mother. "Mom, I know! You're distracting-!"

He was cut off when Pavo's fist landed on the side of his face. He stumbled back and then reached up and rubbed his cheek. "You really shouldn't look away when you're in the middle of a fight," he said casually.

"Hey! That was a cheap shot!" Basteta yelled.

Pavo raised an eyebrow. "Is she going to be doing that the whole time?"

"Maybe…" JJ muttered.

A bit further over, Nenet was sparring with Lacerta. The two young titans were swinging at one another, but something seemed off to Nenet. Lacerta was never one to hold back, no matter who he was again. She had seen him knock his own little brother for a loop. But for some reason it seemed like he was hesitating.

She scowled as she dodged another one of his punches. "What's with you? Why are you holding back?" she asked. Lacerta scowled back at her, bringing his fist back and then… once again hesitating.

She ducked undernheath it, and as she slipped behind him she noticed something. Junji was watching with a rather nervous look on his face. She raised an eyebrow, and then noticed him looking even more panicked with Lacerta swung again.

"Are you holding back because my dad is watching?!" she asked, looking at him annoyed. "What the hell?!"

Lacerta growled. "Shut up! How the hell am I supposed to punch you with uncle Junji over there looking like he's gonna have a panic attack every time I make a fist!" he shouted back annoyed. Usually he wouldn't have cared who the hell was watching, but… he had a soft spot for Junji.

Nenet sighed and then turned towards her dad. "Dad, can you please knock it off?"

"I can't help it! I know you guys are just sparring but…" He knew more than anyone who his daughter was, but his fatherly instincts couldn't help but make him wince every time he saw Lacerta about to go in for a strike.

"Seriously…"

Nico snickered as he watched his siblings try to gather themselves. Lucky for him his mom and dad were busy with his brother and sister. He turned towards his own opponent who… didn't look at all interested in fighting.

Sandor stood lazily, and he couldn't have looked less motivated if he tried. "You uh… you ready for this dude?" Nico asked.

Sandor hummed. "I was kinda hoping we'd just stand here and look busy so we didn't have to do any of this crap." He knew Astro would turn their attention to them eventually, but until then he really didn't see a need to really work up a sweat. He didn't even know why his mom made him come here.

"Dang bro, that's messed up…" He may not have had his parents badgering him, but he seemed to draw the short stick with sparring partners. It wasn't like he wanted to tangle with Lars or Dorado, but he wanted to get some practice in.

Astro looked annoyed as he watched the events unfold. Something told him that something like this would happen. "Lacerta, switch with Dorado! And stop shouting furball! You're distracting your son!" he yelled towards Basteta.

Lacerta grunted before walking off, and Nenet stuck her tongue out at him. Basteta scowled towards Astro. "Who the hell are you talking to like that?! I'll root for my son if I want to!"

JJ decided to speak up. "Uh, mom… it would be a little easier to concentrate if maybe it was a bit.. you know, quieter," he said. He also would have appreciated her cutting back on the backseat driving.

Basteta huffed. "Fine, I'll keep the rooting down… but go for his feet."

"I got it mom…"

Dorado walked towards Nenet, getting into a fighting stance. She smirked at him. "Well, looks like I get to tangle with the other brother today. You gonna be alright without your sword?"

"I'll be fine," Dorado said confidently. He may have usually relied on Frostburn in battle, but that didn't mean he couldn't hold his own in hand to hand.

They began to fight, dodging, blocking and parrying each other. Junji looked worried at first, but then began changing expressions as they went on. "Alright, that's the way to go! Nice going, Nenet!" he said. Nenet smirked as she kept going toe to toe with Dorado.

JJ also seemed to be doing far better. He pressed on his attack on Pavo, who was nimbly dodging and throwing a counter every few seconds. JJ managed to block them and continue his attack. Basteta was about to yell out and cheer for him, but then Astro spoke. "Don't distract him…"

"I know that!" she muttered back harshly. "God, telling me I can't cheer for my own damn kids…" She looked back to JJ and, despite her annoyance, couldn't help but smile. He hadn't exactly been the most coordinated among his siblings, and compared to Nenet he wasn't the best fighter.

But right now he seemed like he was holding his own. Like he was in his element. This whole training thing seemed good for him.

Astro looked over towards Nico, who had been watching his siblings battle. "Are you two just going to keep standing there or…?"

Nico went wide eyed. "Oh my bad, I'll get back to-"

Basteta suddenly hurled a knife. It flew through the air, nearly hitting Sandor, who had been trying to sneak attack Nico. "Damn it, c'mon. I wanna go home already," Sandor complained.

"Not on my baby boy snake eyes…"
