Deep within the bowels of their research in the Kingston Computer Rooms at Kingston Castle, Julia and her team continue to decode all of the evidence that Jocelyn had sent to them and organize it into a collective. It had been a long time since any of them had truly rested, but with the Syndicate on the move, they couldn't afford to waste another moment of what precious little time they had to them. They needed to have this all in one neat and concise package so that all of the Kingstons could discover the truth behind the Syndicate and their wicked ambitions. If there was to be a vicious battle between the Kingstons and Elezar's forces, they needed to be prepared to expect anything.

On her monitor, Amanda continued to decipher and uncover more hidden secrets about the Syndicate's involvement in what had been going wrong in Arcana, including proof that they played a part in the deaths of the astronauts in the Taghwan Space Program as well as more specific elements about certain Syndicate Administrators, including Lizzie's old rival in Hunter. They all knew the story of how Lizzie, Mark and Michael had joined forces to stop Hunter from acquiring Jirachi and abusing the poor Pokémon's ability to grant wishes, but in the years since that great clash in Hoenn had occurred, Hunter had not laid back and accepted defeat. He had been lurking in the corners of every region from Kanto to Galar, hunting down the rarest and most powerful Pokémon in the world. He had once even come to Arcana prior to the resurgence of The Syndicate to try and steal Celebi from Michael, only to receive the wrath of the Crimson Fury upon him when he failed. But now, he had returned, but with the Mythical Pokémon having not resurfaced since the Taghwan Hall Tragedy, one could only wonder why he had come back to Arcana at all.

Piper continued to transfer the written word of Balthazar Aced's Journals into digital form so that it could be distributed all across Arcana for all to see. The time for the truth of Balthazar's research and his secrets needed to be revealed to everyone, before Elezar could harm anyone else they knew. But Balthazar had been a very detail oriented man, with his diligently written and eloquently pronounced dialect coming across in his writing. She had only been able to send one journal to Ryan and his friends, but there were still several more to convert. But, so long as she was able to keep helping Arcana combat the people who had nearly killed her, she was determined to do everything in her power to help in their destruction. Thanks to one of Lady Bonnie's therapists, she had been able to move from out of her leg cast and into a boot so that she could have limited movement with her ankle. She was tired of being cooped up all the time while Amanda and Julia moved around freely, especially since Lady Bonnie had used an emergency decree to keep her term as Queen of Arcana going for another year. She wanted to be more proactive in pursuing their enemies, but she was forced to accept this small role in support of the others.

Julia was the ringleader of the entire Anti-Syndicate Team at Kingston Castle, which was apparently growing by the day. She had just learned from Lady Bonnie, who was still uneasy about all of this going on under her roof, that Jon, Greg, Tori, Daniel and Billy had all closed their gyms and were making their way towards Kingston Castle with their Pokémon to finish the battle that Michael and The Elite Four had started. She was thankful to have this boost to the cause, but she couldn't help but wonder where all of this gusto had been while the Syndicate was still divided and leaderless. Nevertheless, she continued to collect and gather whatever data Amanda and Piper deciphered before dishing it out to all that were their true allies. Because of this, though, she did have some reservations about keeping Jocelyn Aced in the loop. She knew that without Jocelyn, they would be completely lost, but at the same time, she was the daughter of the enemy and didn't seem as eager to support them as she would have liked when they first talked. Until they could be absolutely sure of Jocelyn's loyalties, they couldn't completely trust her to not be secretly relaying information to the Syndicate.

"How many days have we been here?" Julia asked, drinking what felt like her eighth energy drink.

"What are days, at this point?" Amanda replied, herself having powered through almost 34 consecutive hours of work.

Piper, the only one who had been able to rest at any given point over the past few days, looked at the two and gave out a soft smile. "I think it's been somewhere between eight and nine days. You guys should really take a break once in a while."

"Until The Syndicate does" Julia replied, the thought of resting her head becoming more tantalizing by the second, "we can't. We have to get all of this information ready for distribution." In reality, she couldn't bear another dream of her and Michael together again. It was becoming too much for her to take. If she engrossed herself in work until she collapsed, perhaps she would be able to go a night without being able to fully recount the dreams she had.

"Besides" Amanda said to Piper, "the Kingstons are counting on us."

As Julia prepared to send another piece of information to Ryan and his friends in Titanio City, her Poké Gear lit up with an incoming call from an unknown source. She was at first reluctant to answer, but she guessed that it was something more that she would get from Jocelyn and answered. "Professor Pines speaking."

"Julia" Jocelyn's voice echoed on the other line, sounding hoarse and worn from something.

"What is it, Jocelyn?"

"They found out" Jocelyn warned her. "About Deep Jade and what I've been leaking to you."

Julia sighed. I figured this day would come. "How did they find out?"

"Courtney and The Grand Master" Jocelyn explained. "They relayed all that they found out to my father. And he's declared me a traitor to the Syndicate."

Julia tensed up at the wording her colleague used. "And are you?"

"My father did something unforgivable to me" she said vaguely. "He has made his intentions crystal clear with his actions. I cannot call myself a decent person and still affiliate myself with the Syndicate. If you all will have me, I'd like to join forces with you all openly. I know you can use a few powerful trainers on your side, as well as someone who knows how the Syndicate works."

Julia paused for a minute and looked to Amanda and Piper. "She's leaving the Syndicate to join forces with us."

"What could have caused that to happen?" Amanda asked.

"What does it matter?" Piper snapped. "If she doesn't have any useful information for us, we can't trust her anymore."

Julia picked up the call again. "Jocelyn-"

"Before you say anything" Jocelyn answered, "please hear me out. The Syndicate is planning another massive abduction raid for tomorrow. Tell everyone you know to stay indoors, don't go out unless you absolutely have to and be on guard. This one is going to be even greater than the first."

"What can we do for those already abducted?" Julia asked worriedly.

"It's too late for them" Jocelyn replied sadly. "If they're already at the Compound in Titanio City, you can bet they've already been Branded."

Julia lowered her head. Just like Michael. "If you truly are on our side, I need you to get into contact with Ryan Kingston."

"Simple" Jocelyn affirmed. "We already know each other. It shouldn't be too hard from here. Where is he?"

"On his way to Titanio City" Julia revealed.

"And you're not going to stop him?"

"He's the best chance we have" Julia insisted. "We're not exactly high in numbers or leadership at the moment. Not when Matthew Kingston has gone off the grid looking for the Syndicate Compound and not with Robert Kingston and Piper incapacitated."

"Ryan's about to take a dive right into a den of Arboks" Jocelyn warned. "Is there someplace safe and secure I can meet him?"

Piper, who had been reluctantly listening in on the conversation, took a deep breath. "Let her use my penthouse in the Titanio Hotel."

"Piper has a penthouse suite in the Titanio Hotel on the top floor" Julia told Jocelyn. "Use it to hash things out with Ryan."

"What about you guys?" Jocelyn asked.

"We're gathering all of the data you've sent us" Julia explained. "With our numbers assembling, we're safe for the moment, but not if another Syndicate Snatching Raid takes place. We need more help than what we have."

"I may be able to help in that" Jocelyn said ominously. "It's a long shot, but I've been detecting some strange anomalies occurring in Arcana. It feels like massive seismic waves of energy hitting near the transit system, but with those transit lines so far from the fault lines in the west, it can't be something natural."

"What are you thinking?" Julia asked, confused by what Jocelyn had talked about.

"You'll see soon enough" she replied. "But this may not be safe enough of a route. Is there some kind of secret communication network we can make between each other?"

Julia thought for a moment. "We could try the KERN."

"The what?" Jocelyn asked.

"The KERN is the system that the Kingstons use to communicate directly with one another" Julia explained. "It's an acronym for the Kingston Emergency Radio Network. Only those who know the frequency can access it."

"You can trust me" Jocelyn assured her. "After seeing what my father is becoming, I can't really have faith in him being the leader Arcana needs right now."

"The frequency number is 270296" Julia told her. "Make sure keep us appraised with what you're planning."

"I'm going to be in the Seaside Caverns by Arcana Colosseum" Jocelyn stated. "Do you happen to know anyone that I can count on for what might be a bit of a construction project."

"I'll send him your way, Jocelyn" Julia assured her. "What do you hope to find in the cavern, if I may ask?"

"Hopefully a miracle, Julia" Jocelyn said sadly. "Hopefully a miracle. I'll keep you posted." With that, she ended the line.

"If we're using the KERN" Piper said to her cousin after a moment, "then this really is a serious take."

"We don't have a choice" Julia cautioned. "The Syndicate is going to make another big move tomorrow. We have to be ready to send the information as soon as possible."

"I'm almost done over here" Piper said. "It really is a shame how things ended for Balthazar. It kinda makes me want to pity him."

"Why wouldn't Lady Kingston want this known to people?" Amanda asked. "Surely this will help everyone understand what actually happened?"

"Lady Bonnie was born in a different time" Julia explained sadly. "We've become a lot more adept as a society since then. I can see why she would have reservations, but since it was never said if anything happened, I don't know why there was so much of an effort to hide this." She sat back in her chair and puzzled. "A miracle?"

"What miracle?" Piper asked.

"Jocelyn said that she hopes that whatever she can find in the Seaside Caverns will give us a miracle of sorts" Julia mentioned. "But what does she hope to find down there? There's nothing but Wild Pokémon and randomly washed up treasures there. Nothing too drastic."

"Do you have a hunch?" Amanda asked the Professor.

"I don't have an answer" Julia remarked sadly. "But I think I'd be even more afraid to find out what she has in mind." She flipped through her Poké Gear to make contact with Big Mike. If he truly wanted to help his lost son, this might be the perfect way for him to assist however a man his age could.

{Meanwhile}

Titanio City was not what the kids had been expecting it to be when they walked over the bridge and into it's boundaries. It wasn't the big and sprawling center of entertainment and communications that they had heard it was like all their lives. In fact, to say that Ryan, Holly and Tommy were quite intimidated by the big city was certainly not an understatement. The buildings were tall and generally lifeless structures of dark grey or black, with the only real light in the city coming from the big billboards and advertisements that sprung up on the sides of various buildings as well as on signs all across the area. The people weren't particularly friendly either, all simply trying to make it through that specific day and either ignoring or outright threatening Ryan and his friends when they were in the same general vicinity.

Ryan decided that the sooner the three of them found Renee's gym, the better off they would be. He began to look around everywhere he could for the Aquarium that the Tram Announcer had told them about, but they couldn't find it anywhere. They were curious about it perhaps being inside Titanio Park, the large amusement park in the downtown section of the city, but found out when there was a fee to enter, that the Gym couldn't be there. Instead, the trio kept looking.

While they wandered through the streets of the bustling and hostile city, Ryan noticed that they were very close to the ArcTV Studios, where many of the news broadcasts and talk shows were filmed. This was where that blowhard Walter O'Hara broadcast his show from. Ryan was eager to avoid the Studios at all cost, but he could feel that something inside of him was guiding him towards it. Inside of him, he could feel as if some unseen being was gently tugging him towards the ArcTV Studios, but he continued to fight those urges until they finally came across the large Studio Property.

In front of the building was a group of protestors, carrying banners and picket signs that read slogans like "ArcTV Spreads Lies" and "O'Hara is O'Liar!" Despite only being perhaps a year or two older than Ryan and Holly, the trio of protestors seemed organized, collected and determined to prove their point that Walter O'Hara was a crook that couldn't be trusted. As Ryan and his friends approached the trio of protestors, they began a loud speech with a megaphone railing against the likes of Walter O'Hara and ArcTV.

"O'Hara is O'Liar" the leading boy, a blonde haired young man carrying the megaphone declared loudly for all to here. "ArcTV spreads lies! Support Free Journalism! Support ArcResistance! Don't let this crook fool any of you." He turned and lowered the megaphone when he noticed Ryan and his friends coming by. "So, you three know all about Walter O'Hara's lies?"

Ryan shrugged. "I know he said some lies about my cousin."

"Your cousin?" the boy holding the small handheld camera asked. "Wouldn't that make you a Kingston?"

"Ryan Kingston" Ryan introduced himself.

"Well, well" the first boy replied. "This is our lucky day. We get to talk to a second Kingston."

"A second? Did you talk to my brother?"

He shook his head. "Nope, but we did meet Cameron Kingston before The Taghwan Hall Tragedy." He handed the megaphone to the only girl in the group, a young girl with long and curled brown hair with eyes to match and plucked the microphone from her, before putting it in Ryan's face. "If you could, would be able to support ArcResistance with a quick interview?"

Holly stepped in between the two. "We don't have time. I'm sorry, but we're on a mission." She grabbed Ryan's wrist and tried to pull him away, but the boy from ArcResistance was impossibly stubborn.

"Please, it will only take a minute" he pleaded.

Ryan pulled Holly back towards the protestors. "Come on, Holly. This won't take too long." Holly seemed eager to protest, but relented and let Ryan bring her back over towards the interviewers.

"Thanks" he said happily. "I'm Dylan, by the way."

"Nice to meet you" Tommy said as he came up to try and show himself on TV. "When is this going to be on TV?"

"We actually don't have a TV Channel" the girl explained. "But we do have a website where we upload all of our content. We've been getting a lot of attention for ourselves." Realizing she hadn't introduced herself, she shook Ryan's hand. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Amber."

"I'm Holly Queensbury" Holly said politely, "and my little brother here is Thomas."

"And our cameraman is Corey" Dylan said to quicken the introductions. "Now, Ryan Kingston. You said that Walter O'Hara has been spreading lies about your cousin. Do you believe he has some hidden agenda?"

Realizing this was more than just a simple grade school level interview, Ryan took a deep breath. "I don't believe he had any personal animosity towards my cousin, but I think he just likes to say controversial and sometimes untrue things just to spike his viewer ratings."

Amber quickly wrote down what Ryan said, while Dylan nodded approvingly. "Excellent take. Now, what do you have to say about ArcTV's lack of coverage about the Mass Disappearances all across Arcana?"

Holly interjected on Ryan's behalf. "Well, we find it reprehensible that the media isn't doing it's job to reveal the true extent of the danger that The Syndicate and Elezar Aced pose to us all. And considering our friend was abducted by them during these Syndicate Raids, we are personally angry at ArcTV for trying desperately to avoid it."

"What was your friend's name?" Amber asked as she continued jot down what Holly had said.

"Addison" Ryan said sadly. "Addison Tenton."

"Wait" Amber said. "Warren and Deidre Tenton's daughter? The Pokémon Contest Frontrunner?"

"Who said she was a frontrunner?" Holly asked, her jealously flaring up again.

"She was Snatched by the Syndicate a few days ago" Ryan continued, ignoring Holly's frustration.

"We heard about Addison from the Contest Vlogs hosted by the Augustine Twins" Amber explained.

"The Contest Vlogs?" Ryan asked, confused. "But there was never a Contest held this year."

"They are holding a virtual mock Contest" Amber explained. "And they said that the Daughter of former Champion Deidre Tenton would have finished in second place behind Piper Pines."

"She would have, hmm?" Holly fumed. "We'll see about-"

Ryan grabbed her arm and kept her from going into a tirade. "We're all a little broken up about Addison, as you can tell."

Dylan waved his arms in frustration. "This isn't some Contest Reviewing Channel, Amber!"

Amber fell back. "Sorry, Dylan."

"Now" Dylan continued, "just a few more questions. Do you know why the Syndicate has been out there abducting people?"

"I'd like to know fully why as well" Ryan answered honestly. "To be honest, it's a little unnerving to not really have an idea about why people are just disappearing. But we hope to have an answer soon enough."

"We?" Amber asked.

"The rest of the family" Ryan explained. "We're trying to organize to oppose The Syndicate before they become too powerful."

"One final question, Ryan" Dylan asked. "Would you sign our petition telling ArcTV to remove Walter O'Hara's TV Show until he is willing to stop spreading false stories around Arcana?"

Ryan shrugged. "I don't see why not."

"Perfect" Corey called, before cutting the transmission. "That's a wrap."

Amber picked up a petition they had been getting people to sign and offered it to Ryan to sign. Ryan's eyes immediately found Cameron's name on the first page of names, but soon found that the group was well below their goal of 10,000 names. Nevertheless, Ryan signed his own name, with Holly following after him and Tommy doing his best signature after.

"Thanks so much for the interview" Dylan thanked the trio.

"When do I get to be online?" Tommy asked impatiently.

"Some time tonight" Dylan assured him. "Until then, stay weary little journalist."

"Thank you very much" Amber echoed her friend. "May I just say that ArcResistance will support The Kingstons in any measure they see fit to stop The Syndicate and ArcTV's spread of lies and misinformation."

Ryan gave her a thumbs up. "And we'll make sure to let our family know about you guys." With that, Ryan and his friends made their way down the road and continued to look for wherever the Aquarium was. But after several more minutes of searching and using their Poké Gears to find it, they decided to call it a day and check into the Titanio Hotel for the night. The three weary and worn young trainers soon climbed their way up the hill towards the most famous Hotel Room and checked into a Trainer's Suite for the night. The desk clerk seemed almost jubilant to have some trainers staying for the night, as with all of the madness that had been unfolding, they're business had plummeted and almost no one was staying there.

Ryan and Holly each took a key and Holly took her little brother with her to size up the bedroom they would all be sharing, while Ryan went to the Food Court to pick up dinner for everyone, including the Pokémon. After he bought nearly 30,000 Poké Dollars in food, he returned to the Hotel Room and found Tommy was already passed out and Holly near that point herself. But, through sheer force of will, Holly kept herself awake to eat alongside her friend.

"That was nice of you to accept that interview" Holly told him.

"They aren't our enemies" Ryan insisted, after swallowing a bite of the sandwich he had bought himself. "They just want ArcTV to do their jobs and stop promoting that fat Grumpig Walter O'Hara. As far as I'm concerned, we're on the same side."

"Either way" Holly said sadly. "It's going to get a lot harder from here, Ryan. We should probably get some rest."

Ryan shook his head. "I can't sleep. I can't have another one of those dreams about her again."

"Ry, if you don't sleep" Holly cautioned, "you'll run into more health problems than what you already have. Promise me you will get some sleep."

Ryan sighed. "If you say so. I do have to make my calls, so I'll head out into the hall to make them."

Holly gently pushed her brother to the other side of their bed and hopped beside him. "Okay, if I'm still awake, I want you to let me know what goes on."

Ryan nodded to her and exited their Hotel Room. He was about to make his Poké Gear call out to Julia and Piper, but was interrupted by an unsolicited number trying to reach him. Ryan shrugged and answered it. "Hello?"

"Good, you do pick up these kinds of numbers" a young woman's voice told him.

"Jocelyn?" Ryan asked, surprised to hear from her for the first time since they met again on The Lonely Road. "How did you get my number?"

"We need to talk, Ryan" Jocelyn told him. "Piper Pines has a Penthouse Suite on the top floor of the Titanio Hotel. Room 1101. Meet me there so that we can talk in person. I have to warn you about The Syndicate." With that, Jocelyn ended the conversation.

Ryan, curious as to how and why Jocelyn would be contacting him of all people, made his way towards the elevators and punched up to the Eleventh Floor. When he arrived, he found Room 1101 directly in front of the Elevator. He shrugged and knocked on the door. The door slowly opened and Jocelyn poked her head out to ensure it was him.

"Good, you're here" Jocelyn said swiftly, pulling him into the penthouse suite and shutting the door behind him.

Ryan looked back at Jocelyn and gasped. She was wearing the same uniform as Elezar had on TV, as Nadine had in the Flower Sanctuary and the same that Archer's minions wore when they attacked the Faire Grounds. "You're one of THEM?"

"I was one of them" Jocelyn told him.

Ryan tried to attack her, but she stepped out of the way and Ryan punched the door instead. He turned at her in anger. "I trusted you! I looked up to you! And you've been a Syndicate Agent this entire time?!"

"Let me explain-" Jocelyn said calmly.

"You'd better have a really good explanation" Ryan fumed. "Don't you realize what The Syndicate has taken from me?"

"I know very well what The Syndicate has done to you and your loved ones" Jocelyn replied, equally as calm as she had previously. "And nothing I can say or do can alleviate what wrongs have been committed, Ryan. But we are not enemies."

Ryan seethed with anger, though he seemed just as soon to break down in agony. "You guys took Addison from me!"

"Was she Snatched?" she asked him sadly.

Ryan fell to his knees and punched the ground in frustration. "What does it matter? I'm starting to think everything I know is a lie."

"I can't change the past, Ryan" she informed him, her voice dripping with melancholy. "Nor can I change who I am or who my father is. But I might be able to change the dark future Arcana is hurtling towards. But I can't do it alone. I need your help."

"Why should I trust you?" Ryan demanded. "You were with them!"

"You were kind to me when you didn't know I was a Syndicate Admin" Jocelyn recalled. "And we both were able to tell each other how to overcome our strife and loss."

"If I had known I was talking to-"

"You were and are talking to someone who has had their own life impacted by Elezar Aced" Jocelyn retorted. "Far more than you'd realize." She removes her Syndicate Armor and wardrobe and replaced it with a lavender-colored blouse and black leggings. "I have no loyalties to The Syndicate. Professor Pines and her friends have welcomed me on board their side as an ally. I hope you will do the same."

"I want to believe you" Ryan replied mournfully, "but I've been burned too many times by the Syndicate."

"I know that Elezar and the others have done far too much to warrant any kind of forgiveness from you. And I don't blame you for being hesitant to trust me. But I came here to warn you about them." She turned away and made for Piper's Balcony. Ryan followed her suspiciously. "The Syndicate is preparing to make it's next bunch of Snatches tomorrow. And I'm afraid that you are going to be one of their next few targets."

"Let them come" Ryan hissed. "I've beaten Lily and Lena before and I'll do it again."

"This isn't going to be those two coming for you" Jocelyn warned him. "This is going to be the Top Snatchers in Arcana. Victor and Nadine."

"And I'm not afraid of them, either" Ryan countered bitterly.

Jocelyn turned towards him, her eyes flaring. "Do you think this is a game, Ryan? The Syndicate isn't just going to put you in a cage like they do in the old cartoons. Do you know what they did to your cousin?"

"You mean Mike?" Ryan asked.

"What they subjected your cousin through, isn't half as dangerous as what they can do now" she insisted. "I'd imagine this Addison friend of yours has already been Branded. If they're targeting you, it can only mean one thing."

Ryan rolled his eyes. "There everyone goes again with this Branding thing. What's so important about it? Why is everyone so worried about it?"

Jocelyn seemed eager to slap him for even suggesting that, until it occurred to her. "You really don't know, do you?"

"No one's ever told me anything" Ryan recalled. "Even Mike told me that he never wanted me to find out what The Syndicate was."

Jocelyn folded her arms. "This does raise a few caution flags. But it's not unsalvageable. Tell me, Ryan, have you read any of the things that Julia and Piper have sent to you?"

"It was still downloading onto my Poké Gear the last time I looked at it. Why?"

"Those are the Journals of Balthazar Aced" she explained.

"The man who started all of this" Ryan recalled bitterly.

"Whatever things you have heard about him are quite untrue" Jocelyn assured him. "These are the final Journals he ever wrote, prior to his death fifteen years ago during the last Crimson Moon. Read them as soon as they download onto your Poké Gear. Please. It will help you to understand why I was so hesitant to fight against Elezar and why they so confidently believe his work as gospel."

"What are they planning?" Ryan asked.

"All I can tell you is that more than 400 people have already been given the Crimson Brand and that the number is growing greater by the second. Thanks to Cassius Sinclair and The Grand Master, the chances of breaking free from the Crimson Brand as your cousin did are virtually non-existent. If we don't find a way to stop them soon, everything that we have done to protect our loved ones will have been for nothing."

"What can we do to stop them?"

"I have a few ideas" Jocelyn explained, "but none of them are really solid plans. I'm currently working with Big Mike on a project in the Seaside Caverns by Arcana Colosseum, but the odds of anything being found their are slim to none. In reality, I'm staying close to Titanio City, because there is a Syndicate Base somewhere in this city that is likely where most of the abducted people will be brought."

"Where is it?" Ryan asked.

"I'm not telling you" she told him flatly.

"Why's that?"

"You should know why. I can't trust you to not try and launch some desperate rescue mission, hoping in vain to find that Addison girl."

Ryan clenched his fist. "Or maybe you aren't leaving the Syndicate behind just yet."

"You are dense" Jocelyn groaned. "I told you, Elezar did something I could never forgive him for as long as I live." She shook as if she was trying to put off some agonizing grief. "He took my mother away from me."

This caught Ryan off guard. "I'm-I'm-I didn't know-"

"Well now you do" Jocelyn spat, clearly distressed. "We need to be able to trust each other, or else Elezar will take more from us that we care about. I want you to promise me that you won't go looking for the Syndicate. Just stick to your own tasks and after you face Renee, stick close to her. The Syndicate is less likely to strike when you're in numbers."

Ryan frowned. "I guess I don't have a choice." He offered his ally his hand. "I can trust in you if you can trust in me."

Jocelyn took his hand. "And I'll do whatever I can to help you find your friend. I promise you." She then let go of Ryan and called out her Dragapult. "Keep your eyes open, Ryan." She then climbed atop her Dragapult and flew off into the night skies. Ryan, after watching her go, locked up Piper's Penthouse for her and made his way back down the elevator towards his and the Queensbury's hotel room. When he entered, Holly and Tommy were already fast asleep.

He made his way into his bed, but before he could sit down to stretch out, his Poké Gear went off again. Ryan opened it and saw that his file was now 100% Downloaded. Recalling what Julia had told him about the files import as well as what Jocelyn had just informed him of, Ryan decided he had enough of being left in the dark and decided to see just all that they were talking about. He opened the files and began to read.
