Friday Night SmackDown was live at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show opens with Trish Stratus' theme playing and the fans cheer and wolf whistle as Trish comes out, dressed in blue jeans, a black Bladewolf crop top, and a black leather jacket. She smiles as she makes her way down the ramp. She enters the ring and her theme dies down as she grabs a microphone.
"WrestleMania season has begun everyone!" She proclaimed and the fans cheered in agreement. "That means a lot of things will be happening for everyone in WWE over the next few weeks. After a dominating performance in the Elimination Chamber, my husband, the World Heavyweight Champion, the Bladewolf is ready for WrestleMania...and his opponent." Her smile turned into a smirk. "Last Monday Night, Edge made his big announcement that he was choosing to face the Bladewolf at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship!" The crowd popped loudly because it was a WrestleMania match they wanted to see for a long time. "Yes, Edge and Bladewolf have NEVER faced each other one-on-one at WrestleMania, last year wasn't even a one-on-one match for the very same title they will fight for at this year's WrestleMania. In my personal opinion...this is the WrestleMania main event. Not Shawn Michaels vs the Undertaker, Streak vs Career. But a big match like this one...it cannot JUST be a normal one-on-one match, so-"
Edge's theme cuts her off and out comes the 2010 Royal Rumble winner who smiles as he makes his usual entrance and comes down the ramp and gets into the ring, posing on the turnbuckles before getting down and grabs a microphone.
"Hello Trish." Edge greeted her with a smile. Trish nodded back. "Been a while since we last saw each other, though it wasn't exactly friendly times for us and if it helps...I'm sorry for that, I'm a changed man now. But, you are right. A match this big, me and Bladewolf, it CANNOT be a one-on-one match. So, I was wondering, if he was here tonight so I could say it to his face?"
Trish smirks. "Oh he's here tonight..."
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop as the lights change to the sinister, blood red and out comes the Bladewolf with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. Bladewolf walks down the ramp towards the ring and gets on the ring apron, staring Edge down as he steps over the top rope and comes face to face with Edge. Bladewolf take a microphone from out of his coat and speaks.
"You wanted my attention...well I'm right here." He stated coldly.
Edge nods. "Last year, you and I competed in a WrestleMania match, it wasn't one-on-one like we both wanted and you know that for a fact. But now? I have won the Royal Rumble, you are the World Champion this time, and that's why I chose you. I want these people to see a big match between the two of us. You and I have known each other for a long time now, we've seen how we've helped shape this company, been world champions multiple times...we've even been tag team champions together. If there was someone I respected a lot, and even called best friend at some point...it was you. But we both took different paths to get to our goals. We've both been hated and liked, but we never did care for that. All we cared about was doing this! We love this business so much, we love doing wrestling, so why not compete against each other on the grandest stage of them all to prove how much we do? The match i want us to face in is not Hell in a Cell, I've been throught hat once with your brother, no...we're going with my match...TLC!"
The crowd popped at that as a TLC match was epic, especially between these two.
"I made that match famous just as you made Hell in a Cell famous, so come on! What do you say?" Edge asked.
Bladewolf stares at Edge before he gets in his face and says..."You're on. WrestleMania, TLC, World Heavyweight Championship."
The crowd cheered as the two stared each other down. Edge smiles and starts backing off...WHEN HE HITS A SPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE! Edge slides out the ring and backs up the ramp.
'Spear! Spear! Spear!' The crowd chanted as Bladewolf glares at Edge, but was impressed he fired the first shot...
And that's it for this chapter everyone. It's on! Bladewolf vs Edge at WrestleMania 26 in a TLC match! They fought at WM 25, but in a Fatal 4-Way match, so this year it's in a TLC match and one-on-one.
