Ethan yawned. "Fucking hell. I'm normally not this tired." Ethan said.
"Probably the notion of having some time away from your family catching up to you. They can take up your time enough to the point that you would be exhausted without even noticing. and considering how big your family is its a definite." Kurata says.
"Yeah. Probably." Ethan yawns. He then groans when Rory slides up next to him. "I can let you rest you head on my lap if you want." She flirts.
"I would like to but all of my wives have the capacity to actually murder me so no." Ethan refuses.
"What's so bad about that? Polygamy is allowed in this world." Lelai asks. "Actually speaking of that. Which of them are your wives?" Itami asks.
"Ruby, Izumi, And Towa, Wiz is dating me and Setsuna and Moroha used to date me but now we're just friends with benefits. I tried to juggle caring for all of them but it backfired. I'm just lucky were still friends let alone with benefits." Ethan explains.
"Really. Well good for you man. So then i'm guessing towa is Eri's mother?" Kurata asks.
"Biologically. No. Maternally. the girl is basically Towa's blood child at this point in all but blood. And i don't know where Eri's mother now is but if i find her I'm Gonna rip her head off for abandoning her." Ethan declares.
"Woah no need to go that far." Itami says. "Would you say that when she spent the firat years of her life being tortured by a sick yakuza bastard for her dna just to make power erasing bullets?" Ethan asks.
"WHAT!?" Everyone asks. "Yeah. When I met her the poor girl was shaking like a leaf. By technicality she's been killed multiple times only to be revived afterwards. Normally when someone is killee and revived by that fucker there are no health problems, no scars, and No pain afterwards. But thanks to him there are still scars on her. Not even I could heal them." Ethan says.
"Jesus Christ." Kurokawa says. "AAGH I'M GONNA TEAR THAT BASTARD A NEW ONE! I'LL RIP HIS HEAD OFF AND PLAY BASKETBALL WITH IT! I'LL TURN HIS CORPSE INTO PACKAGED MEAT!" Shino yells. "Have fun trying to revive him from ashes. He's the only human kill i'm proud of." Ethan chuckles.
"Damn dude." Itami says. "Yeah. By the way we arrived." Ethan says. "Yeah- Wait really?!" Itsmi asks. The three cars stop on the path to see that they have indeed arrived at Italica.
"Heh yep." Ethan said.
"Identify Yourselves. If you are not our enemy come out now!" Norma commands.
"You heard the man." Ethan says. He Opens the door beside him to let the natives come out first. "You go out with them. I'll follow." Itami says.
Ethan comes out and shuts the doors behin him to walk to the group. He stopped just shy at the door. He knocked and took a few steps back. He heard a Board being moved and It opened to reveal a redhead in armor. "Welcome to Italica friends." Pina greets. "Yo." Ethan greets back.
"We're here because we wanted to trade. But considering how it looks like the town is in battle i'm afraid that might not be happening anytime soon." Itami says. "Yes thats right." Pina says.
"So which one of you is in charge here anyways?" Itami asks. Everyone from iside looks at Pina. "Eh, W-wait wha..." "Everyone! You are in the presence of her Majesty. The Third Princess Pina Co Lada. Show some Respect." Hamilton announces.
"She did not just say that right?" Ethan Cringes at the obvious name pun. "She did." Itami cringes.
"This is the fortified city of Italica. Where the Thessalia and Ahppian ways come together. Which makes it a vital place for trade." Pina explains.
"This city and the surrounding Area was governed by the family of Count Folmar for Generations." She adds.
"However, the count recently took ill and passed away." She says. "Sad to hear." Ethan comments. "Yes. When he passed away he left a Political Power struggle between his daughters. The Oldest were married into other families. but there was still a custody battle. They had a younger third sister named Myui. She happens to be the only legitimate successor of the Folmar family throne." Pina adds.
"Guess no matter where you are these kinds of problems always happen." Itami comments. "Itami, Wait did you just understand what she said?" Lelai asks. "Huh? Oh yeah. Ethan gave me a a Songbird Card to help me translate my Japanese into your launguage. But even then i'm picking up bits and pieces." Itami says.
"It doesn't last indefinitely though. It only works for so long until you fully learn the launguage. Then by that point the spell wears off and you'll need another Songbird to learn a New one." Ethan says.
"And then, The empire decided to send there division through the Gate." Pina continues.
'Crap she must mean what happened with the first parts of deveoping a base by the gate. I heard about what happened there.' Ethan thought.
"All of our nobles where ordered to send troops from their kingdoms the join the fight with the Empire in the fight. In the end none of them made it back." Pina says.
"I see." Ethan nods.
"Public order in the city has began to deteriorate. With no soldiers or anyone skilled enough in public service, its become complete chaos." Pina says. "Seems to be the case. Remove any power and any figures attempting to get some power back and you can forget about order." Ethan comments.
"Right." Pina confirms. "The mistress of the Folmar Feifdom is just through this door." Pina says. "She is Princess Myui. Folmar's Countess." She finished.
Pina then opens the door to reveal Myui. "Oh. That kid?" Itami asks. "If I remember correctly. She'll be eleven next year." Lelai adds.
'I know that this is a fantasy world and I should leave realism out the door but what the hell? I legit thought that girl was around her late teens.' Ethan thought. (True story)
'Oh god what if that happens to Eri? Like hell are those perverts gonna touch my daughter!' He thought angrily.
During his thoughts Itami had offered to help Princesa Pina.
"Hey. Let's get going." Itami said Tapping his shoulders. "Huh? Oh right." Ethan says.
Ethan held his hand in a cone shape at the outside of the walls. In front of him in detail were a group of Scouter's looking at the group on top.
"I see about four of them. One other scout further back. Most likely for backup to see if they have been compromised." Ethan says.
"Wow. You can see that far?" Itami asks. "Yep. Its thanks to my glass eye." Ethan says tapping it. "Wait you lost your eye?" Itami asks. "Yeah. Tried using too much power and since one power source was embedded in my eye it blew it up. Not fun at all. Later on I actually got a sort of organ that fires a Very unfocused laser out and can see somewhat with it to grow in my socket. I just added the glass eye cover and Metal Dock to focus the laser and act as glasses for that eye." Ethan explains.
"Really? That's actually kind of cool." Itami comments. "Yeah. Wanna see what's under it?" Ethan asks. "No! No I'm good." Itami flinches. "Awe you're no fun." Ethan smiles.
"Hey Itami." Rory calls. "Yeah?" He asks.
"Why are you helping allies of the Empire when they've attacked your homeland?" She asks.
"To protect the people." Itami answers almost immediately. "I've only worked with this knucklehead for not even a day now but he means well. Back in the past I helped hunt demons, Criminals, monsters, and even become a fully licensed pro hero in Izumi's world. One thing for sure is that I prefer to protect the people. For they're innocent in all this. Besides." Ethan turns to the castle in the distance. "Sometimes even a villain needs help." He says.
"You really meant that you two. Wow." She comments. "Of course we do. Why wouldn't we?" Itami says whilst Fiddling with his helmet. "Here." Ethan says Attaching it to the helmet. "I don't need these anyway. Benefit of that little organ is that it sees clearly in the dark without help." Ethan says.
"Neat. Hey Rory. Do you care about what's going on?" Itami asks. "Emroy is a god of Battle you know. Where Death and Destruction come with the territory. But, There is motive." Rory answers.
"If there isn't motive, or your purpose isn't righteous, Then deception will sully your soul." Rory answers.
Ethan Looked at his gloves at that. He still can't take them off without getting flashbacks. He sighs.
"Well I guess since I wasn't lying with what I said earlier then theirs no need to worry. But there is another reason." Itami smiles. "Hmm?" She asks.
"I wanna show them a different way. That were not some enemy of theirs. I want the Princess to understand she can talk with us." Itami says. "Girl is stressed as is. She certainly needs a break." Ethan adds.
"I like it. I really really like it!" Rory cheers. "Your fear." She says. "Huh?" "Dafuq?"
"I like your fear. You two will burn into her very soul I just know it!" Rory says twirling on the Wall.
"Okay?" Ethan smiles.
"I'm wholely looking forward to helping you with this upcoming Battle sweeties!" She says.
"S-sweetie!?" Itami stutters. "Its been so long since I've been able to let loose. This should be superb!" She giggles. "Uhm, This isn't what I exactly meant. But okay. You do you." Itami says.
Ethan groans as he turned the eastern gate. "I'll go inform Princess Pina about where the bandits may head to. That good?" Ethan asks. He looks over only to notice them suddenly looking scared. "What?" Ethan asks.
"T-that!" Itami says pointing behind him. Ethan was confused. Only to suddenly freeze in fear when some long black ribbon like feeler wraps around his throat.
He Looks up to see something he never wished to see. SCP-2521. "Wh-what... Th-he... f-f-fuck!?" He Says before suddenly Being dragged away into the wall itself.
