Warning: Drunk and unprotected sex
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER BUT I DO OWN EVELYN AND THE OTHER CHARACTERS I CREATED.
Evelyn wrapped the Ravenclaw scarf around her neck and put her nose underneath it. It was a cold morning. It was expected as it was the end of October and usually, the weather became worse and worse with each passing day around this time. However, Evelyn didn't like it. She didn't like the icy breeze or the way her body trembled because of it.
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone come closer to her.
Her eyes looked up. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw that it was her cousin, Elena. Her cousin was doing her usual morning jog that she did since Evelyn had given her those muggle magazines. The past few months, she had seen her cousin jog whenever Evelyn woke up in the early mornings.
"Hi." She greeted her cousin who stopped in front of her. "Can we talk?"
Elena looked around the grounds. To their luck, the grounds were empty as it was early morning and quite cold. When her cousin was satisfied with her check, she gave her a curt nod.
"Is this about our talk?"
A few days had passed since Evelyn broke her friendships and Elena found her crying out that loss. Her cousin had comforted her that night and Evelyn had ended up telling her everything about the situation. As she thought about it, she couldn't remember Elena's reaction to some information.
"Yes," Evelyn admitted as she licked her lips. "You haven't told anyone about what I said, right?"
"Give me some credit, Evelyn. I know better than to tell people that you are dating Rabastan Lestrange.." Elena scolded her and she looked down. "After all, it will cause everyone so much trouble and it could put you in danger."
Evelyn couldn't help but notice that Elena shared the same concerns as Sirius. When she asked Rabastan, he had told her not to worry about it. It seemed like she had to worry about it as a lot of people were sharing the same concern.
"You think I'm in danger by being with him?" She whispered the question.
Elena breathed out. "I don't think you are in danger right now. I only think you should be cautious about people finding about your relationship." Evelyn dropped her head. Was she going to spend her whole relationship in fear of this? Was she ever going to be comfortable and feel safe in it? "Although, I still can't wrap my head around you and Rabastan."
Her ears perked up. She looked up to her cousin, a frown on her face. "Why not?"
"Because you're you and he's him." Her frown only deepened at Elena's words. "You are so against what Voldemort is doing while Rabastan and his family are known as his supporters. It doesn't make sense that you two are together."
"He just pretends." Evelyn jumped to say. This time, Elena furrowed her eyebrows at her. "He pretends that he supports Voldemort and wants to be a Death Eater. In truth, he plans to leave his family when he turns seventeen and he is given his fortune."
"He must be an incredible liar because he had me fooled all along." Her cousin admitted before letting out a sigh. "I guess it's hard to grasp your relationship since Rabastan was considered as one of my potential husbands."
Evelyn raised her eyebrows. Rabastan had never mentioned that he was considered as such. "He was?"
"Yes, when I was a little girl. My grandfather thought that a union with Lestranges would be perfect. My mother, on the other hand, had other plans and my grandfather liked them." Elena's eyes lowered and she bit her lip. "To believe that her dream came true."
"What do you mean?"
"A few days ago, I officially became Sirius Black's betrothed."
Evelyn's jaw dropped at the news. She knew those pureblood families did arrange marriages, yet this seemed so absurd. They were in the 20th century and arranged marriages were something of the past. She didn't understand why the pureblood society was so stubborn in keeping these harmful traditions.
"That's horrible." She spoke up. "How can they make you do something as horrifying as arranged marriages? That takes away your choice-"
"I don't mind arranged marriages," Elena announced.
Evelyn's lips parted in shock. She didn't understand how her cousin didn't mind that people were taking her choice away. If she had been in Elena's place, she would fight for her freedom rather than just accept it.
"I just don't want an arranged marriage with Sirius Black." She continued. "He's not a bad person. If anything, I'm sure that he is one of the best ones in our usual circle. In all honesty, it isn't much of an achievement" Her cousin clasped her hands together. "It's just that he's obnoxious, loud and free-spirited. He can't be held back and he has too much energy for me to deal with. I don't know why the girls fawn over him because he is a lot of work to deal with." Evelyn found herself smiling at her cousin's little rant. "Other than that, both of our families aren't thinking this through. Not only are we an incompatible pair, but also, there's no way that Sirius will marry. If he does so, he will make me miserable."
Evelyn tilted her head. "At least, he will never bore you." She pointed out. While she believed that her cousin was being a bit harsh on Sirius, she decided not to comment on it. Her cousin was in an arranged marriage with someone she didn't want. The least that Evelyn could was let her bitch about it for a few minutes.
"I'm not you, Evelyn," Elena told her. "I would prefer to be bored rather than be with Sirius Black." She shook her head and looked at the Black lake nearby them. "I just have to cross my fingers and hope that he does something about it."
"Why can't you do something about it?"
"Because I'm not in the position to do it." She responded. At that moment, Evelyn wondered if it was truly that. Was it because Elena wasn't in the position to do it? Or she didn't have the courage to do so?
She sat alone in the Great Hall. It was uncomfortable, especially when people looked at her, but she had to deal with the consequences of her choices. She had chosen Rabastan over her friends. Since she couldn't be with Rabastan in public, she had to nibble her food all alone.
The worst was hearing their voices. While they were sitting quite far away from her, yet she could hear some of their voices. It was mainly Carter's, Edrick's and Christina's voices that she could hear him. They seemed to be laughing about something. A part of her wondered what they were laughing about. She wondered if she would also laugh alongside them if she was in the conversations.
When she realized what she was thinking, Evelyn pushed those thoughts away as soon as she could. She shouldn't be wishing to be with her friends. Their actions and prejudice against Rabastan had led her to this. They had made her think that she had to choose between them and him. She was glad that she had chosen him since he made her happy while her friends were making her miserable for too long.
At the thought of her boyfriend, she drifted her gaze towards him. She found him eating his breakfast, silently. She wondered if he was thinking about her like she was thinking about him. After all, his eyes were fixated on his plate and to her, that was an indicator that he was thinking about something. She told herself that he was thinking about her.
Her attention pulled away from Rabastan the moment where she heard wings flapping. She looked up and immediately sought out Caterpillar.
She had sent him to Don the next morning after she chose Rabastan over her friends. So, she was waiting for it for quite a while.
Yet when Caterpillar came to her, he wasn't holding any letter. She was confused as he never did this before. He never returned without a letter. Since she had him, her owl never lost a letter. If anything, he was quite careful with the letters.
"Where is the letter?" She questioned her owl as she fed him some food.
Of course, the owl didn't say anything in response to her. He only ate a bit of the food she gave him and flew away.
Evelyn didn't believe that her owl had lost the letter. Immediately, her mind jumped to a conclusion that made her body ache.
There was a chance that Don received the letter and instead of responding, he decided not to. He didn't respond because he was informed of the situation before or during the time that he received her letter.
Without thinking once, Evelyn got up from her seat and stalked off towards her former friends.
As soon as they spotted her, they grew silent and turned to look at her.
Her breath caught in her throat and her chest started to hurt. She ignored it as she looked at all of them with narrowed eyes. "Did one of you write to Don about what happened?"
"I did," Christina announced.
Evelyn had to hold her scoff. Out of all them, it was expected that Christina would be the one to write to Don. She knew that her gut was right and if she listened to it more, she would probably guess that Christina wrote to him.
"I told him everything," Christina informed her. "Told him about how you ignored us, thought that we were lying when you have been lying to us for months, how self-centred you have been and how you believed and chose your horrible boyfriend over us." Her body began to shake as Christina continued.
"You had no right to do that." Evelyn snapped at her. "You had no right to write to Don."
"Why not? He's in our friend group, right? He is as much as our friend as he is yours." Evelyn knew that Christina was aware that wasn't true. She and Don weren't just best friends, they were like siblings. They were raised with one another and Evelyn always believed that they would be together forever. "And he was just as mad and upset as we are."
Evelyn blinked at Christina's last sentence. "He responded to you?"
"Yes, he did. He told me that he was done with you just as you are. He couldn't believe you chose him over us with everything going on." She replied to Evelyn. "I expected him to tell you himself, but I guess he doesn't even want to bother with you anymore."
Evelyn's eyes teared up as the words settled into her. She had lost her best friend. She had lost one of the two people who truly knew her. She had lost Don, someone she never thought that she'd lose.
She turned her back on her former friends and walked away from the Great Hall as fast as she could.
Tears rolled down her cheeks and she bit her lip to prevent herself from sobbing. She could feel her head grew heavy in her head, her heart beating too fast and her body sweat like she never did before.
It hurt, she thought to herself. It hurt to lose Don more than anything else. She had thought it was hard losing her other friends, but nothing could compare to Don. Nothing.
She couldn't believe that Christina wrote to Don. She didn't want to think about what she wrote to him. She just knew that Christina portrayed her as this horrible person and of course, it didn't surprise her that Don was so angry about it. No one would want to be friends with a horrible person.
But Evelyn wasn't a horrible person. She had made the right decision in choosing Rabastan. Yes, it was selfish, but she knew that it was right. She only hoped that one day Don would understand her choice and forget all about what Christina wrote.
If Don had been here, he would have understood and stayed by her side...
She stopped herself from thinking that. After all, it was all a lie. If Don was here, Evelyn wouldn't even have to think about who she would choose. She would choose Don over Rabastan any day.
It was proving hard to focus on the meeting at hand. The girls of the club were all discussing with one another about the subject that Evelyn decided to this weekend. It was quite ironic that she couldn't remember the subject she picked. Even if she did, she wouldn't have participated in the discussion.
With each passing day, Evelyn was having a harder job concentrating. It was odd since she always had been good at that, even when she found something boring or uninterested. This time, she couldn't focus on what she enjoyed. She found herself forgetting that she was studying or that she was in class quite a few times. These days, she didn't even raise her hand in class which everyone found her odd.
It felt like she was a different person. Evelyn didn't like it at all. She wanted to go back to the perfect persona she once was. She knew that she never could be, but some wishful thinking never hurt anyone.
"Evelyn." Someone called her name, making her snap out of her thoughts. She turned her head to see that it was Hestia. "An hour has passed. The meeting should be over by now."
She frowned as she was sure that they started the meeting a few minutes ago. Of course, that thought didn't last with all the looks that she was getting.
So, she cleared her throat. "Meeting is over," she mumbled. "You can all go now."
Everyone left, not sparing a second glance at her. She was glad of that, to be honest. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. Since she stopped being friends with Diana, Gabriela, Christina, Marlene and Lily, no one really bothered to talk to her. Actually, Evelyn didn't talk to many people these days. She only talked to Rabastan, Elena, her professors and the other prefects, except for Lily.
You could say that Evelyn was all alone at the moment. She couldn't talk to Rabastan or Elena in front of people while the professors and prefects only spoke to her because of their jobs.
Loneliness wasn't something that Evelyn was used to. All of her life she had bee surrounded by people and she loved it. She liked being around people whether it was noisy or total silence.
She realized that she lived quite an extroverted lifestyle. This introverted lifestyle was quite opposite of the life she had been living only a month ago. It was odd, she thought to herself. She wasn't used to this. Honestly, she didn't know if she liked it, to begin with. However, she was sure that loneliness wasn't a good look on her.
After a few minutes, she left the classroom to head where she and Rabastan usually meet. She dragged her feet as she made her way towards it. It wasn't that she didn't want to see him, it was that she was just tired.
When she walked inside the classroom, Rabastan raised his eyebrows. "You're still upset about that?"
By 'that', Rabastan meant the end of her friendship with Don. The day she had found out about it, Evelyn had spent the day trying not to cry or crying. When she met Rabastan a few hours later, she noticed that he didn't how to handle her tears. She understood him though. In all honesty, only her mum and Don could handle her tears.
"Of course." She mumbled. "He was my best friend since he was six months old."
Rabastan walked over her and wrapped his arms around her. She sighed at the feel of his arms and leaned against his touch. "Good friends wouldn't do this to you."
Something about his words made her heart tug, but she ignored it. She didn't even say anything about his words. All she could do was lean against him.
"You're in luck though since you have a good boyfriend." He announced and she lifted her head to look at him.
"What do you mean?" She asked out of curiosity.
Rabastan smiled down at her. "You don't attend the Hallowe'en feast, right?" She nodded her head. She didn't attend it because of her fear of bats and because the one time she did, she caused a food fight. "How about we do something together that night? Something like a date?"
Her eyes widened. "A date?" She repeated. "Where?"
"I want to leave it a surprise." He told her. Her heart fluttered in her chest. Rabastan never did these kinds of things and she always spoke up about how bothered she was that they didn't go on dates. "You just need to meet me on the seventh floor."
Evelyn blinked a few times. "Wait, are we having the date in the castle?" If they did, she realized that it wouldn't be different from the other dates they had been.
"Yes, but you'll forget all about being in the castle when we go there." He assured her. She didn't know what to think of it. So, she decided to push away her doubts as best as she could and just be excited. "I can assure you that you're going to love it."
"Like I love you?"
"That's a bit impossible since you love me a lot." She smiled at his words. "But I'm sure it's going to come close."
Evelyn gave him one last smile before she lifted her head and pressed a small kiss on his lips. Rabastan reacted to the kiss immediately after that and deepened the kiss, forgetting that it was about to be a small one.
Dear Don
Christina told me that she wrote you a letter. I don't know what she wrote in that letter, but I do know she didn't do me any favours when she talked about me. There's a big chance that she hyperbolized the situation and made me seem worse than I am. The situation is far more complicated to be written in a letter. It needs to be told rather than written. So, I beg of you to come to my house during the winter holidays, so I can tell you everything and much more about what happened. If there is something that Christina didn't lie in that letter is that I've been lying and keeping secrets from people. I don't want to do that anymore, I want to tell you everything, Don.
I know you have made a decision about our friendship. It hurts me that you have without us talking. So, please, give me a chance to explain everything to you and if you are still upset about the situation, we don't have to be friends anymore. Again, I ask you to come and meet me during the winter holidays. I know they are almost two months away and you have to wait, but due to the distance between us, there is no other way. And if you can, please respond to this letter and tell me if you're coming or not.
Love, Eve
Evelyn read the letter a few times as she bit her lip. She ahd tried to explain the situation to Don in a letter a few times, but it was too much to write down. So, she decided on this option as it was more logical and reasonable. She could only hope that Don would give her a chance to explain herself to him. She knew that he would understand if he did.
Folding the letter and putting it into an envelope, Evelyn walked towards Caterpillar. "You have to send this to Don in the Pyrenees." She told him as she wrapped the letter around his leg. "I'm sorry for making you travel so often there, but I really need to send this letter to him." She patted the owl on his head and he let out a noise. "I hope you have a safe journey."
The owl flew away as soon as she let him go. He headed south and moved passed the trees around the school as fast as he could.
As she watched her owl fly away, Evelyn hoped that Don would give her a chance. She knew her chances weren't that great, but she believed enough in their friendship that he would.
Turning around, Evelyn left the owlery behind her and headed back to the castle. She had her first period free, so she decided to go to the library to study Charms before the next class began.
While walking towards the library, she ran into professor Quinby, their newest Defense Against The Dark Arts professor. He was a shirt, black man with a full stomach, bald head and a fabulous grey and pepper beard. He was quite a good professor even though he couldn't be compared to Ezra who had been the best.
"Good morning, professor Quinby." She greeted the man as she passed him.
"Good morning, Miss Sinclair King." He greeted her back. As she was about to pass him, he spoke up. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
Evelyn frowned a bit. She didn't understand why her professor would talk to her, especially since she didn't have any class with him.
"Of course." Her frown disappeared as she turned around. "What do you want to talk about, professor?"
"The deadline of the essay in my class." She scrunched her nose as he responded to her. "You missed it."
Evelyn blinked a few times. "I did what?"
"Missed it." He repeated.
The corridor spun in her eyes about two times at his words. She had to close her and open her eyes a few times before everything turned to normal again.
When her head stopped spinning, she cleared her throat that had gone sore. "How come I missed it? The deadline was November 5th." She remembered deciding to do it after Hallowe'en, so she could focus on her other homework and classes.
Professor Quinby shook his head. "No, Miss Sinclair King, the deadline was yesterday. It was on the 29th of October." He informed her.
She could hear her heart thump in her chest as she processed everything. She had missed the deadline for an essay. Missing it meant that her professor wouldn't be able to grade it and that would mean, it would lower her perfect grade in Defense Against the Dark Arts. The only class that Evelyn couldn't afford making mistakes in.
"Is there a way that you can give me another chance?" She asked the professor. "Missing deadlines never has happened to me before."
Professor Quinby shook his head. "I can't, Miss Sinclair King. If I give you another chance that means I have to give other people a chance too." She didn't understand why he couldn't give others as well. Was it such a big deal to give them all a chance? "I'm sorry, but you were late and even if you give me an essay, I won't grade it."
"If you don't grade my essay that will mean my average in your class will drop." She pointed out to him.
"I'm well aware of that." He told her. "It upsets me as you are my best student. However, you have to suffer the consequences of not handing in your essay on time. Hopefully, with the upcoming essays and tests, you will be able to raise your grade in my class." He tilted his head. "Have a good day, Miss Sinclair."
Evelyn didn't even bid her professor goodbye. She was so wrapped in the fact that her grade would drop. The grade she put he most work on would drop and Evelyn could do nothing about it.
"Where are you taking me?" She whispered to Rabastan as they turned right in the corridor.
"You have so little patience, Evelyn." He muttered as he led them to the unknown destination. "It's supposed to be a surprise."
Evelyn groaned. "If I was patient or valued it, I would have been sorted in Hufflepuff." She responded to him and he chuckled. Much to her dismay, he didn't tell her where he was taking them.
She wanted to be in the place already. She wanted to forget all about what happened these days. She wanted to forget about her former friends, Don not responding to her letters and the deadline she missed. She only wanted to focus on Rabastan and nothing else. She would love to do nothing but get lost in the feel of him.
Rabastan abruptly stopped in front of a wall. She frowned before looking at him. "Why are we looking into a wall?"
Instead of Rabastan responding, the wall did it for them. The wall turned into a wooden door out of a sudden.
Evelyn let out a gasp as she stared at the wooden door in front of her. "How did this door appear?" She wondered out loud. Rabastan didn't have his wand out and he certainly didn't utter any spell.
"Magic." He responded before opening the door.
She rolled her eyes out at him before following him behind.
When she entered the room, a louder and longer gasp escaped her. She was met with a large room, filled with different flowers that all were in shades of red. It smelled like vanilla and rose and it had some sort of a pink glow to it. On the right corner, Evelyn saw a table with two chairs. It had glasses and plates on it as well.
While in the middle of the room was a king-sized four-poster and canopy bed. It had burgundy velvet curtains. The sheets were burgundy too, but they were made of silk and had golden flowers in them.
It was romantic, Evelyn thought to herself. A bit too romantic and cliche, but she kept that opinion to herself. After all, she didn't want to talk about how she would prefer yellow daffodils and the smell of lemons.
"Isn't it amazing?" Rabastan questioned her.
"That goes without saying." She breathed out as she walked towards him. "Where are we?"
"I have no idea." He responded and she raised an eyebrow. "I found this room a few weeks ago during my patrols. I remember passing by that wall, thinking I was tired and needed a bed. The door just appeared and when I opened it, I found the most comfortable bed." He explained to her as they both studied the room. "I did some snooping and found out it's called the Room of Requirement. Apparently, it appears when you require it."
Evelyn snorted. "Ah, yes, it makes sense." He glanced at her. "You and I are in desperate need of a romantic date."
Rabastan chuckled before he pulled a small basket from his robes. She frowned as she hadn't even noticed him holding it. "Yes, that's why we're going to have dinner at that table that gives you the perfect view of the stars."
Evelyn's eyes fixated on another object in the room. "What about the bed? What is it doing here?"
"I'm just tired of kissing you against walls or desks." He responded to her. "I want our snogs to be as comfortable as they can be."
She nodded her head but kept her eyes on the bed. She and Rabastan hadn't done much when it came to the sexual part of their relationship. They hadn't even gone past the first base. He had touched her breast a few times during their songs these weeks, but that was as far as they had gone. The prospect of going further excited her as much as it made her nervous.
"Luckily for us, we have all night to use this enormous room." She turned her attention to Rabastan who started to speak. "First, we'll have dinner."
He put the basket on the table. Afterwards, he pulled the chair and motioned her to sit. She walked towards him and sat on the chair. He moved on the other side and sat down.
"For tonight, we won't have anything fancy to eat I'm afraid to say." He pointed out and she smiled. "All I could get where some sandwiches with chicken and tuna."
"I want the chicken one." Evelyn jumped to say and he put two sandwiches on the plate.
"As for beverage, I do have something special." She tilted her head as he put his hand in the basket. to her surprise, he pulled out a bottle of red wine. "One of the finest wines in the magical community, Pascale."
Evelyn's eyes widened so much that they could have dropped from her sockets. "How do you have that?!"
"The Greengrass family gave it to us. They produce wine in France." He informed her. She frowned as she remembered that Madeleine Royce was supposed to marry a Greengrass. That was all she knew about this pureblood family. "My family hates them, but they do love their wine."
She frowned. "Why do they hate them?"
Rabastan poured wine on his glass. "Because they don't support pureblood supremacy and are very much against Voldemort."
"So, they are like the Prewetts, Shacklebolts, Longbottoms and Weasleys, right?" She questioned him.
He shook his head. "No, they are still classist as they come." He answered her.
Rabastan was about to pour wine into her glass. "I don't think that's a good idea." He raised an eyebrow as he still was tilting the wine bottle towards her glass. "We're minors, we shouldn't drink."
"I thought you believe that sometimes you need to rebel against ridiculous laws." He snorted.
"Yes, I do believe that some laws are utterly ridiculous, but I don't think this is one of them." She insisted. "Besides, I've never drunk alcohol before. I don't know how much I can handle."
"It's not hard to notice when you're getting drunk." He started to explain to her. "You have some early signs like becoming spacey, losing your balance or feeling lightheaded. When you start noticing those symptoms, you can stop drinking."
Evelyn pressed her lips together as she thought about it. She had been curious about alcohol as most teenagers were. She always wondered how it tasted and how it would make her feel. Of course, she never had the opportunity to taste it. This was her first real opportunity. What made this situation even better was that she was going to drink it with her boyfriend on a date. With that in mind, this would be the best opportunity for her.
"Pour it on then."
Rabastan smiled and poured the red wine on the glass. When he was done, he put the wine away and raised his glass.
"To us." He announced.
Evelyn raised her glass as well. "To us." She repeated as she clinked her glass with his.
He moved to taste the wine and she followed suit. As soon as she tasted it, she scrunched her nose at the bitter taste of it. It wasn't bad and it was quite tasty. She just knew it would take time for her to get used to the taste.
"I love how you scrunch your nose," Rabastan spoke up as Evelyn put the glass down. "It's quite adorable."
She smiled at him. "Glad that you like it because you're going to see a lot of it tonight."
"Why? You don't like the taste?"
"I think just need to get used to it." She responded to him.
"In that case," Rabastan raised his glass one more time. "Drink on." He urged before he took a sip. She decided to do as he did so.
After eating their sandwiches and drinking a few glasses of wine, the two of them laid on the bed. Rabastan had his head on the pillow and his left arm behind it while Evelyn rested her head on his chest whole his right warm was wrapped around her waist. On her hands, she was holding the half-full wine bottle.
"Do you know that this is the first peek of our future?"
Evelyn looked up at her boyfriend. "How so?"
"Because this will be how our nights will be spent. Eating, drinking wine, kissing, holding each other." Her cheeks flushed as Rabastan described their distant future. "We'll probably live in a cabin near a lake." Her eyes twinkled at the sound of that. She couldn't imagine how peaceful it would be. "Secluded." She squinted her eyes at that. "No one will bother us. it will be just the two of us for the longest time."
She flinched at the thought of that. "That sounds a bit too much." He furrowed his eyebrows at her. "We need other people in our lives besides each other."
"Why? Am I not enough for you?"
Evelyn sat up and looked down at him. "No. It's just that some people like me crave the presence of other people beside one." She realized that her boyfriend was quite introverted compared to her. "For example, I need to have my mum in my life."
"Fine, we'll visit your mum."
"And let's not forget the war." Rabastan huffed as she continued. "It will be impossible for me to sit down and do nothing while there is a war happening."
"Maybe by that time, the wall will be over." He suggested.
"Hopefully." She mumbled as she remembered the recent disappearances she saw in the Daily Prophet. "And on top of that, don't forget about work."
"We don't need to work," Rabastan told her. "We have the fortune for a lifetime."
"Maybe you don't need to, but I do." Shre corrected him. It bothered her a bit how much her boyfriend didn't care about her goals in life. "I'm going to become a Wizengamot member, so I can change our world for the better. It's something I'm willing to give everything too."
Rabastan sat up, so he could face her. "Don't you think that's a bit too much?"
She frowned at his words. What did he mean by that? Did he think she was being too greedy? Or too naive? Or did he think that her goals would be impossible to achiever? As she thought before, Rabastan didn't seem to care about her goals. Well, her goals included her career in it.
Evelyn opened her mouth to speak, but he spoke first. "We can discuss these small details later." He grabbed the bottle from her hand. "Tonight is all about enjoying ourselves."
He chugged a bit of the wine before he handed it to her. He raised an eyebrow as he did. Knowing what he meant, Evelyn decided to do as he did.
The two teenagers continued to drink their wine until its end. They were so immersed in each other that they forgot the sudden lightheadedness that they were feeling. They forgot it so much that they got up to dance. They didn't care that they didn't have music or that they could barely move. They just danced as drunkenly as they could, holding onto each other as if they were each other's life force.
Whilst dancing, Rabastan closed the gap between them by kissing her. It didn't take long for the kiss to be deepened by Evelyn. Neither did it take long for the two of them to end up in bed together.
They got so lost in their passion that Evelyn wrapped her legs around her boyfriend while Rabastan tried to roam her body with his hands.
Things turned blurry after that. Shirts were taken off followed by his trousers and her skirt. It ended with both of them throwing their undergarments on the floor without a second thought.
While everything was blurry, sloppy and clumsy, it didn't stop the two teens. Drunk on the red wine, they continued to kiss and touch each other. Despite their moments of darkness, they didn't stop. Their minds and bodies didn't let them stop. They insisted they continued.
Evelyn let out a small scream when she felt a stretching pain. The pain continued as her boyfriend thrust into her as fast as he could. She closed her eyes as she tried to enjoy the moment, but the pain wouldn't go away.
It was near the end when Evelyn felt a little pleasure. When she started to, her boyfriend let out a groan and soon enough, she felt him spill himself inside of her. She realized that it was over before it even began for her.
Rabastan moved away from her. As soon as he did, a sudden coldness fell upon her. It made her body shiver and her head hurt.
She looked down at her naked body. She blinked a few times as she realized what just happened. And before she could completely register what happened, she was engulfed in complete darkness.
I just want to make it clear to BOTH Evelyn and Rabastan were drunk as hell. So, both of them were under the influence of wine at the age of fifteen. As someone who studies law, the laws regarding consent when both parties are drunk is not addressed in many countries (including the UK). A court (in the UK) recently clarified that in these cases, it is discriminatory for a school to choose to discipline only one student after determining that both were intoxicated when they engaged in sexual activity. It's a messy situation for both of them. However, I just wanted to make it clear that neither of them took advantage of each other in this situation. While I did describe that both Evelyn and Rabastan drank a lot and were affected by the wine, I want to make it clear for people who might get confused.
Lulu111: I'm glad that you found the chapter great. As for Evelyn, she definitely needs to open her eyes before she falls into a bigger hole than she already has.
Guest your fan: I'm so happy to see that you like Elena a lot. I can tell you that she's going to make a lot of appearances during the next few chapters and we're going to learn what's going on with her. Yes, Evelyn needs to see things clearly right now before she gets into bigger trouble than she already is.
