(Abigail's POV)

*It's been 2 weeks since Shadow's & my double date with Sonic & Sally. One of the most memorable things that has happened in that time was Dimitri finally got the courage to talk to Knuckles, face to face. Knuckles was a little bit angry that nobody told him sooner. Dimitri apologized for everything he had done & admitted that he was ashamed of himself & all the mistakes he had made in his youth. He then told Knuckles about the bombs inside the Legionars, but thanks to a certain chip, they were only prone to the mind control now (to be honest, I don't know which sounded worse). Knuckles then told him that he was going to be hooked into the remains of Haven and was going to spend the rest of his life trying to help him & other echidnas fix this whole mess. Dimitri was shocked, but grateful for the opportunity. Knuckles then left saying that he understands why we kept this a secret & thanked us. I was happy for both of them. "Today, everyone on New Mobotropolis & Knotehole was gathered in front of Acorn Castle for another concert. I stood in the crowd next to Lacey, with Huck on my shoulder, who was looking a little bummed. And I think I could guess why*

Abigail: Worried about Mighty?

Huck: Chao-Chao?

Lacey: Yeah. I know he said he had to leave to find is long lost little sister and he said he write letters, but I'm still worried.

Abigail: I understand. I worry about Shadow when he has go on dangerous missions, but I know he can take care of himself. And you've seen how strong Mighty is. He'll be fine.

Huck: Chao.

*She then looked at me with a small smile*

Lacey: Yeah, you're right. *she then started acting all lovesick* I think that super strength is one of many things I love about him! *Huck & I rolled our eyes. I then waved to Mina as she stepped up to the microphone & she waved back* By the way, why aren't you up there with the band?

Abigail: I think she can handle this one on her own.

Huck: Chao-Chao.

Mina: I'm glad so many of you could show up for our surprise performance! We just want to thank you all again for your support. And to lighten the mood for the city.

*Suddenly, a figure wearing a brown cloak pushed past Sonic & Sally & ran up to the mic*

Hooded Figure: How can we lighten the mood when Dr. Eggman could attack us any second?

*He threw his cloak off, revealing our former ally, Geoffrey St. John*

Mina: Hey!

Geoffrey St. John: The Forget-Me-Nots woke us up! It's time to act!

Mina: You can't just - !

Geoffrey St. John: You've done your part. Step back!

*I immediately got out my hook swords & ran to join the other Freedom Fighters as they charged at him, Huck now flying above my head*

Sally: Geoffrey! Make this easy on yourself and surrender!

Geoffrey St. John: Surrender, luv? But I'm in the right. Everything I've done . . . *suddenly, Ixis Naugus appeared in a puff of black smoke, holding a staff with the purple Chaos Emerald on the top* Is in service to the true King of New Mobotropolis & Knotehole.

*We all screeched to a halt*

Sally: Ixis Naugus!? No way! He's been Mogul's drooling pet since Eggman got to him!

Ixis Naugus: My people! Too long have you been misled! I have come to reclaim my rightfull place as Royal Wizard! No more will you live in fear of being attacked by Robotnik!

*Just then, Nicole appeared & trapped Naugus in a tangled mass of wires from underground*

Nicole: No! I won't let these people be fooled by your lies!

*Suddenly, Naugus turned the wires holding him into crystal & it shattered, freeing him*

Ixis Naugus: AHHHHHH! There you are Such artificial means cannot stand against my crystalline magic. You hold no sway over me! *to the crowd* Do not fear, my people! I will speak to the Council of Acorn now and bring you all peace and security!

*He leaned towards Geoffrey & whispered something to him. Then he started walking towards the Castle*

Sally: Sonic! Bring down Naugus before he gets to the Council!

Sonic: Music and a show! You do know how to plan a - *he suddenly, went right through Naugus's stomach* - Date? Hey! *he grabbed on to the ground to turn around* Oh, right. Master of the Elements.

Ixis Naugus: Did you forget so easily, Quickster?

*Sonic zoomed back at him*

Sonic: Maybe. Wanna bet I'm faster than you can change - *Naugus suddenly turned himself into fire. Sonic jumped right over him* YOW!

Sally: The Royal Guards will handle St. John, Freedom Fighters! We're backing up Sonic!

Geoffrey St. John: Oh, really? As Commander of the Secret Service, I am commanding you to stand down!

*The guards all stopped, looking confused*

Sally: He's a traitor! Arrest him!

Geoffrey St. John: I'm acting on the King's orders. Top secret business, as usual. Stand down!

Sally: As Crown Princess - !

Geoffrey St. John: King trumps Princess. Sorry

Sally: My Father didn't authorize this!

Geoffrey St. John:*whispering* Who said anything about Nigel? *out loud* Face it, Luv. Your clubhouse gang will have to get it's hands dirty if you want to get past me.

Sally: Gladly. Take him.

*Antoine charged at Geoffrey, swinging his sword*

Geoffrey St. John:*laughing* "Take him," she says!

*He shot an arrow at Bunnie, but she dodged*

Antoine: Traitre! Stealing my Father's rebel underground and -

*Geoffrey kneed him in the stomach*

Geoffrey St. John: Y'know, you impressed me back during in the invasion, *Bunnie tried to punch him with her extendable arm, but he dodged* Never understood how you could land such a lovely bride though. Speaking of whom . . . Ma'am. *he then hit her in the face with a punch. Huck & I then attacked him, but he dodged, barely* And then, comes in the little fortune teller and her little sidekick.

*I was so angry, I didn't have time to be surprised that he knew my secret*

Abigail: How could you! We've all fought together before, remember!

Huck: Chao-Chao!

Geoffrey St. John: Ancient history, Luv. You really need to stop living in the past. *just as Huck & I were going in for an attack from behind, he slapped us both away with his tail, sending us both flying backwards* It's too bad the Freedom Fighters found you before I did, you would have made an excellent Secret Service Agent. *just then, Amy & Tails started to circle him* And now the junior league comes in with the predictable pincer move. Which puts Rotor and Sally's ambush . . . *he had lifted his leg up for a kick, but was surprised to find Sally & Rotor in a different position* Here?

Rotor: You're too smart for your own good.

Sally: Now, Nicole!

*Nicole reappeared & made more wires come out of the ground, trapping him*

Geoffrey St. John: Whoops!

Nicole: Since the Commander's skill set does not include "crystalline magic", I don't believe he will be escaping any time soon.

Sally: Thank you, Nicole. Let's regroup so we can handle the bigger . . .

Nicole: Sally . . .!

Sally: . . . Threat?

We all looked & saw Geoffrey turning himself into shadow to escape his bindings*

Geoffrey St. John: I do not enjoy doing that.

*All of us looked shocked. Huck hid behind me*

Sally: . . . An Ixis . . . You're an . . . Since when were you an Ixis Wizard!?

Geoffrey St. John: What can I say, Luv? I'm just full of surprises.

Sally:*to a crowd of Mobians* Everyone get clear. We'll handle this!

Geoffrey St. John: Let them stay! Or are you afraid of them hearing the truth?

Amy: What truth cam come from a back-stabber like - !?

*She tried to take a swing at him, but Geoffrey grabbed her by the arms*

Geoffrey St. John: I've always served my King and my country. *he threw her towards Tails, who was flying up above* You blokes just never thought to clarify which King! *he shot an arrow at Antoine, who blocked it with his sword* With Old Mobotropolis gone, I had to act before the rightful King lost everything!

*Sally launched a flying kick at him, but he dodged*

Sally: You're not making any sense.

Geoffrey St. John: You just don't want me to make sense, Luv. You know what I'm talking about.

Sally: If any of this is true, why haven't you acted sooner?

Geoffrey St. John: Oh, I've been at this for years. Circumstances just forced me to drop the subtlety.

Sally: And what does your wife have to say about all this?

*Geoffrey looked down, sad*

Geoffrey St. John: She doesn't care about much now. Hershey's dead. She's been dead for a while.

*All of us looked shocked, again*
