Chapter 65: Their Last Days
It was years after that day, after the incident with the Bebe robots in Annie's Sophomore year, after Danny started taking DJ on as an apprentice and Kim allowed Annie to attend more missions with her.
Now today was a very special day for the young heroine, it was something we waited a long time for.
"Anne Madeline Fenton." Principal Baker said from the podium.
There was a loud applause on the football field.
It was graduation day for Annie Fenton and her friends. They are finally graduating high school. Their friends and family have come here to see the big day.
"Anne Madeline Fenton." Principal Baker said from the podium and there was a loud applause on the football field.
"Way to go, big sis!" DJ shouted over the crowd.
"That's my girl!" Kim called out.
"Our girl." Danny corrected as he applauded too.
Her grandparents on both sides were also attending, as well as extended family members.
Not only hers, but her friends' families too.
"Tucker Foley Jr." Principal Baker says.
TJ walked onto the stage as his family cheered.
"Nice, son!" Tucker called out.
"A stellar grade point average, that's my boy." Velma said proudly.
Even Shaggy and an old Scooby are here, along with Madelyn. Shaggy married Velma's younger sister and they have a little bundle of joy named Casey.
It took Velma a while to be okay with them being together.
Soon, Principal Baker called the next person on stage.
"Christopher Morgan Jr."
"Yay! Way to go, bro!" Chris's younger sisters, Lily and Ida, cheered.
"Nice, son!" Chris said.
Meanwhile, at his side, was a guilty looking Sam.
She's known about CJ going behind her back and eating meat about a year prior and it damaged her trust in him. She was also upset that everyone knew about it but kept it hidden because they knew how she'd react.
Nice... She thought as she saw her boy on stage.
Eventually, she chose to stop being upset about it when Danny told her that she was being as controlling as her parents.
Principal Baker continued calling onto students, until he got to a familiar one.
"Tawnie Rockwaller."
''That's my girl!" Ned cheered.
"Way to go, sis." Ned Jr also cheered.
Bonnie was the only member of her family not cheering, seeing as her daughter has betrayed the path she expected her to follow.
As in, she did not become cheer captain/the most popular student at her school and instead chose to be friends with people that are beneath them.
Such as who she chose to date.
"Nice, Babe…" CJ said to her.
"Thanks." She smiled happily as they hugged.
"I knew those cram sessions would help, no Summer School for us." He assured.
"You are the sweetest…" Tawnie said before she and CJ kissed.
Something their mothers did not enjoy seeing.
Sam and Bonnie shared only one thing in common, they did not approve of the two dating since Senior year began.
There are so many better people… They both thought in sync as the graduation continued.
"Ronald Stoppable Jr."
"BOO-YAH, SON!" Ron called out.
He even held up a large banner, much to his other child's embarrassment.
"Daddy…" His daughter, Ronnie, whined.
"Oh… sorry?" He went as Yori only giggled.
RJ walked up to the podium, getting his diploma.
"Thank you, sir." RJ said.
"At least you followed the dress code, unlike what your father did from what I heard." Principal Baker says.
"Yeah… he wanted me to follow his essential Ron-ness… I think he was just too eager to be nonconformist or something." RJ admits sheepishly.
He then went to Annie, who smiled proudly at him.
"Nicely done." Annie said.
"Well… it helps you let me borrow that book by Joe Gardener on Jazz music." RJ said.
"Sure... call it borrowing if you want." Annie said, giggling.
After they shared a laugh, they kissed.
This is indeed what is happening.
They kissed, they have been a couple for almost a year now. Even though they've been dating since senior year, they haven't lost interest in this.
The graduation continued and with the exception of Dash Jr, who had to do summer school due to poor grades along with disobedience and a lack of proper conduct, everyone graduated.
Soon, Principal Baker got to the last student and sighed in relief.
As the friends were all high-fiving, Baker spoke.
"Congrats, as of this day, you're high school graduates!"
With that, all of the teens took their caps off and tossed them in the air.
"WE DID IT!" Annie yelled, overjoyed and so were her friends.
"Alright!" Tuck went, holding his girlfriend Candice around his arm as she hugged him.
"YES!" CJ went as he and Tawnie hugged.
They were thrilled that they managed to survive their 4 years of high school and all the craziness.
After the celebration wore off, they joined their families, who were smiling proudly at them.
The parents hugged and smiled at their kids.
Sam did not like seeing Tawnie anywhere near her son, but she chose to say nothing as she's learning that she has to respect that her son's interests are different from her own.
Tucker smiled at TJ.
"Nice, son." Tucker went.
''Thanks dad..."TJ said.
"Come on, let's head home. We got a dinner ready." Danny says.
"Thanks, Dad…" Annie said.
Danny smiled, although not many noticed the rather sad look in his eyes, seeing as his firstborn daughter will be leaving for college soon.
At the Fenton household
It was halfway through the dinner where it was mostly everyone standing around and talking with each other.
The thing they talked most about was Annie and her graduation gift.
"So, Annie? You got your own wrist-communicator now, right?" Ann asked.
"Sure thing, Ann-Ma. Check it out." She says, holding up her device which is a white-colored version of her mother's. "Both my grandpas helped make it."
"Glad you love it, Sweetheart." James said.
"We wouldn't have worked hard if it wasn't something you'd love." Jack added.
''I know, I would have been devastated..." Annie quipped.
As they laughed, they didn't notice that someone was watching with a sad expression.
It was a certain father who still wasn't ecstatic for his daughter leaving.
Kim noticed a sad look on Danny's face.
"You okay?" She asks.
"Huh… oh, yeah." He lies.
Kim gives him a look.
"Danny…" She whispers.
Her husband sighs.
"I'll tell you later…" He says to her.
"I don't think it's me you should tell…" Kim says.
She gestures to Annie, who was talking with her maternal grandparents as Jack went to get some cookies.
Her husband sighed.
"I'd hate you being right if I didn't love you with every cell in my body." Danny tells Kim.
She just gives him a knowing smile.
"That's what happens when you marry the daughter of a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon... who happens to be a tough as nails buttkicker without powers." She whispered to him
Danny smiled back as they heard part of the conversation.
''I am so excited to be going to Silver College..." Annie said in a happy voice.
"So glad you got accepted." Ann said.
"This is just the first step in wanting to make my own line of stuffed animals… and research in making nature preserves for real life bears." Annie says.
"As I say, anything is possible for a Possi- person with the Possible gene." James said, still having trouble with his saying.
He didn't see his daughter's sad look.
"I just wish my Nana got to see her graduate…" Kim admitted sadly.
Her Nana passed away about 3 years before their final battle with Vlad and Dark Danny.
They all missed her.
Danny held a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sure she'd be proud of Annie too…" He assured her.
Kim smiled.
It was then that DJ tried to get their attention.
"So, Dad?" DJ asks.
"Yeah, Son?"
"When do you think you can teach ME the Ghostly Wail?" He asks.
Danny chuckled.
"It takes more than just teaching it. Let's just say it'll come when it's ready."
The twins also began speaking in a rather hyperactive way.
"I wanna learn how to do backflips at 6 feet without my powers. Can you teach me, Mom?" Frannie asks.
"Me too!" Manny went.
Kim laughed a little.
"Sure thing…"
Their aunts noticed this and chuckled as the kids went to get more food.
"You got your work cut out. I guess you won't be finished training future heroes…" Danielle joked.
"Yeah… I'm actually glad Kim never got pregnant after the twins… not sure how I'd handle a fifth…" Danny said.
"Those two are pretty strong for their age. Must've been some special mission…" Jazz added with a knowing smile.
Danny and Kim blushed and looked away.
"Please stop bringing that up so much…" Danny begs.
His sisters laughed.
"Ignoring the laughter…" Kim held out her phone. "We should take pictures."
"Good idea, Kim. Mom?! Pictures?!" Danielle called out.
"I agree!" Maddie said as she and Ann pulled out their cameras.
Annie obeyed as she spent the next half hour taking pictures with her family and friends.
After another two minutes, she decided to try and end it.
"Thank you all… But I think we should call it a night..." She said
"One more." Jazz insisted.
''Fine but I need to finish packing..." Annie said seriously.
Danny made a duplicate to hold the phone as he joined in human form.
"Everyone ready?" He asked.
''Yeah..." They all said.
The duplicate held up the phone. They all smiled.
"Three… two… one."
The picture of the entire Fenton and Possible family was taken.
It was late at night when Annie was about to get to bed. However, she heard a knock at her door.
"Yes?" She asks.
It was Danny, opening and taking a good look at his daughter's room.
It's changed over the years, from a crib, to a little girl's play place, to a small shrine dedicated to her parents, to even a time when she tried to emulate that Japanese rock band "Afterschool Tea Time", the one whose bassist admitted to having a small crush on him when his identity was revealed. The only thing that really stayed consistent was the teddy bears and a few news reports she printed out of her parents' highlights in the early days of even before they met.
He smiled, still remembering that day her powers turned on.
He still remembered when she played in the backyard, wearing his old space helmet.
He still remembered when she was his only child and his guiding light in that one dark time.
"Dad?" Annie asked, snapping him out of his flashback.
"Oh… uh… I know it's late but… I was wondering if… you wanted to-"
"Yes." She said quickly with a smile.
"Uh… I didn't tell you what it-"
"A nighttime flight? I'd be more than happy to have one more before I go tomorrow." She says.
Danny smiled warmly.
About several dozen stories in the air.
Danny Phantom has had these flights with his beloved eldest daughter, hundreds of times over the years.
But this one is different, for it will be the last time for a very long time. (I would emphasize either last or very here)
"So, it looks like you and RJ will be attending the same school." Danny says.
"No worries, we're not in the same dorm." Annie assured.
"Good, because I don't want to inform Ron and Yori that their son is in serious trouble." Danny says protectively.
"Dad…" Annie grumbled.
"I'm kidding. I know RJ's a good boy." Danny states.
Annie smiled at that.
"Yeah, he is." Annie says.
"Right…" Danny goes, feeling a bit down.
His daughter noticed and sent him a concerned look.
"What's wrong?" Annie asks.
Danny stopped flying and halted in the air, causing Annie to stop as well.
"Annie… I'm going to be honest. I…" He sighed. "I'm very proud of you and I knew this day would come… it's just… I'm not as ready as I thought." He admits.
Annie only stared.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Danny admitted as he landed on a nearby rooftop.
His daughter followed.
"What's wrong Dad?" She asked as they landed.
"Annie, you are my daughter, my vision of hope from the worst of times, and I am so proud of you but... I'm just wishing you didn't have to go so far..." Danny began before sighing. "What I am trying to say is that, there's nothing more for your mother and I to teach you and I know that you are ready and I want what's best for you but... I don't want you to go but I don't want to get in the way." He confessed.
To his surprise, Annie smiles and hugs him.
"You big ol' softie… that's why I never wanted to give this up and be something else. It's why I still want this… because you and Mom were always there for me even when you both worked jobs and would save the world. I remember my 10th birthday when you two didn't make it because you were attacked by that psycho alien princess, Mandy something…" Annie says.
"Yeah… she's not the kind to take no… you should have seen what your mom did to her. I still don't think Mandie can walk properly yet…" Danny admits.
"All that upset you was that you weren't at my party in time… I would've been upset if you two did take me to that fireworks' special… it was still a great birthday." Annie said.
Danny's eyebrows raised.
"It still was?" Danny asks.
"Yeah… I wanna be like you and Mom. I want to be as great and dependable and to have kids I'll raise to be just like you…" Annie admits.
Danny smiled with tears in his eyes as he hugged his daughter 300 stories in the air.
"I love you, Annie-Bear…" He says, trying hard not to cry.
Annie chuckled.
"You're lucky, most people wouldn't let their dad call them by a nickname since they were a baby…" Annie said with a smile.
"True, but Grandpa James still calls your mom Kimmie-Cub… and I can verify she's no cub, but a lioness…" He says.
"Dad!" Annie said, somewhat grossed out.
After a moment, they laughed together.
Once they calmed down, Danny sent her a sincere look.
"I'm gonna miss these moments." Danny admitted.
"Me too, but I'm sure you can have them with Frannie." Annie said.
"Yeah… but like your mom being my first date, you left a darn good impression…" He admits.
Hearing that got Annie a bit teary-eyed as she hugged him tightly.
"I promise to be back during Christmas. I'll try to come to your and Mom's anniversary, and your birthdays, and maybe the birthdays of the kids if they're not being pains…" Annie says.
Danny chuckles.
"You better, your mom and I can't handle these three all the time..." He said.
"That's what happens when you combine the skills and drive of Kim Possible with the power and will of Danny Phantom. You get kids who are beyond impossible to fully handle without Mom's look." Annie pointed out.
Their ghost senses went off and the two saw what looked like a ghostly blob going down the street.
The two shared a smile.
"One last clobbering of ghosts with your old man?" He asks.
"I guess we can call this where I graduate from part-time sidekick to full time hero… let's do this!" Annie says proudly.
Both father and daughter flew off together to save the city one last time together.
Morning.
The Fentons, the Possibles, the Stoppables, the Foleys and the Morgans were at the bus stop. They were waiting for their ride to Northern California, where the colleges they'll be studying at are located.
Annie will be learning both animal care as well as toy design. RJ is taking a class on the history of Japan. Tuck plans to use his football scholarship to go and be part of a major college football team. CJ will be learning how to be a top chef, getting to cook with sorts of meats. Tawnie will remain in Amity Park, keeping up her long-distance relationship with CJ as she studies at a community college.
Now was the time for the parents to wish the best of luck for their kids.
"I'm… proud of you." Sam admits.
"We both are." Chris, her husband, says.
"I know I've been… controlling… and I realize I was no different than your grandparents… but… I should be proud of you no matter what lifestyle you choose. My way… isn't always the right way." Sam admits.
"It's okay Mom… I forgive you." CJ says with a smile.
Sam smiled as she shared another hug with her son.
Tucker and Velma were also saying goodbye to their son.
"Just remember...if you encounter any ghost or monster related trouble, approach with a skeptical mind. If it's not a guy in a costume trying to scare people to claim treasure or buy a property for a cheaper price, call us..." Velma said in a motherly way.
"I will Mom, relax..."Tuck said.
"I know… I am just so proud..." Velma said.
"We both are." Tucker said as he hugged his son.
"We're both so proud of you..." Velma said teary-eyed as she hugged their son once more.
The same thing was happening with the Stoppables.
"Mom… Dad… RJ's going off to college now." Ron says.
"WHAT?!" His parents went on video chat on his phone.
"HE'S LEAVING?! ALREADY?!" Mrs. Stoppable shouts.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!" Mr. Stoppable goes.
"This is my way of telling you… See how much it bites when it happens to you?" Ron asks with a somewhat mischievous grin as Rufus and Rosie chuckle.
The elder Stoppables were flabbergasted by this. Meanwhile Hana, who was there, stepped in while her parents were fighting over what to say to their grandson.
"Pleasant travels, nephew..." Hana said to the boy.
"Thank you, Aunt Hana..." RJ said before Yori stepped in.
"Anzen o kakuho shi, watashitachi ga anata o aishite iru koto o shitte kudasai, watashi no musuko." Yori says as she hugs her son.
This means: Be safe and know we love you, my son.
"Arigato, Okasan." RJ says as he hugs her back.
This means: Thank you, Mother.
Once done, a little naked mole rat climbed up his shoulder and held a paw up.
"Yeah!" Rosie goes.
"Sorry, little friend…" RJ goes, taking Rosie off his shoulder. "But I think Ronnie will need you more…"
Rosie looked upset but saw the look on RJ's face and nodded.
"I promise to take care of her…" Ronnie says to her big brother.
She took the little animal in her hands.
"I know you will, Sister." He says.
''Ronald! Put us on!" Grandma Stoppable was screaming at him.
As Ron handed the phone to RJ so that he could be greeted by his grandparents, all that was left was the Fentons and the Possibles wishing Annie farewell.
''Its going to be amazing to see the sights." Annie said.
"Why not fly there?" Jack asked.
"I wanna save my strength, Grandpa Jack. Besides, the bus ride would do me good." Annie says.
Her other grandfather hugged her again.
"Be safe out there, and don't be afraid to call if you need us." James assured.
"Always remember that we love you so much, Annie-Bear." Ann says.
"I love the both of you tons, Grandpa James and Ann-Ma." Annie says.
They all hugged again.
"Be safe out there, Sweetheart." Maddie said.
"I will Mama Maddie, you and Papa Jack don't have to be too worried." Annie assured.
She then turned to her siblings.
"Do you really have to go?" Manny asked.
"Yeah… I was hoping all of us could fly with you to your new school." Frannie went.
"Couldn't Dad just have them build one here for you?" Manny asked.
"Then you wouldn't have to go…" Frannie went, tears starting to form in her eyes.
Annie smiled sadly as she got on her knees.
"We all knew this would happen at some point. Besides, Dad shot down that idea years ago because he hates having that much attention…" Annie reminded them.
The twins still looked upset to see her go.
"We'll miss you a lot…" The twins went.
"I'll miss you two twe- Manny and Frannie." Annie says, deciding now is not the time to call them that name anymore.
''We'll always love you, Big Sis..." They both said.
The two of them were wrapped in their big sister's arms.
It was then that she noticed DJ was silent, standing a bit away and trying hard not to cry.
"Little bro?" Annie asked as she invited him to join the hug.
He didn't join.
DJ pouted and looked away, trying hard not to cry.
A light tap on his shoulder from his mother assured him it was okay.
"Go on… it'll be a while before you see her again…" Kim assured.
DJ was silent as he tried to stay quiet but he couldn't for long. He gave in and ran towards his big sister, getting involved in the sibling group hug.
"Promise me you'll look after these two, okay?" Annie asks.
"I promise…" DJ went with his eyes being unable to stop crying.
Annie smiled as she kept hugging him.
Their parents and grandparents couldn't help but get teary-eyed
"That's beautiful..." Jack said, crying and Maddie did the same.
They saw the bus was on its way.
"I guess it's time…" Kim said.
"Yeah…" Danny went.
They turned to their eldest daughter, who finished saying bye to her siblings.
Now, she was going to do the same to them.
"Mom? Dad?" Annie asked.
They both hugged her again.
"We love you." Kim says.
"We did before you were born and always will…" Danny said.
"We couldn't wait to have you…" Kim said.
"And we're so proud to see the person you are, and who you'll become." Danny finished.
Annie smiled and nearly cried, before she straightened up in a determined way.
"I'll see you all again soon. Just wait, in four, maybe 5 years, I'll be the kind of hero you are, maybe more. Who knows? I might even join the Justice League or the Avengers!" She declared proudly.
"I'd love that." Kim chuckled.
Danny put a hand on his daughter's hair and ruffled her hair a little.
"That's my girl…" He says.
Annie nodded with a smile as Danny pulled his hand away.
"Thanks, Dad..." She said
"Let's go…" RJ said, offering his hand to her.
''Coming..."The redhead said.
Annie looked back to her family and smiled one more time.
"Goodbye, everyone. I'll see you all again soon." She says.
''Bye, Annie..." They all waved at her and bid her goodbyes.
Annie took her seat with RJ. The two shared a quick kiss.
"Ready?" RJ asks.
"Yes… and no. But, like my dad, I'm not gonna stop what the future has in store for me…" Annie states.
"That's the spirit..." RJ said to his girlfriend.
As everyone waved goodbye to Annie, she waved back from her seat as the bus started moving.
Outside the Bus
Danny morphed to follow, along with his kids.
DJ's shirt became a black T-shirt with white trims and the DP logo, along with a white belt and black shorts and white tennis shoes. Manny only had the shirt while his eye turned green and a white streak in his hair. Frannie has white hair and she got a day dress with no sleeves, but a white belt and trim at the bottom and the DP-logo on her chest for her appearance so far.
They all kept flying and trying to keep up.
They resumed waving at the back of the bus as Annie chose to phase out of the top in her ghost form.
"I LOVE YOU ALL! DON'T WORRY! I'LL SEE YOU ALL SOON!" She called out with a smile as she phased back into the bus.
Her family smiled and still followed for a moment before landing and resumed waving.
They remained that way for a bit until one by one each one turned and walked away, all of them having hope for Annie.
About a minute or so after the bus leaves, Danny was the last one remaining as he finally looked away, staring at the ground. He was both proud and sad at the same time.
He felt a hand on his shoulder, which got his attention. He saw that it was his wife, Kim, who smiled. He smiled back and took a breath.
"There she goes…" He says.
"Yeah… there she goes." Kim responds.
They started walking back to the bus stop, where their Speeder was, to return home.
Later
It was the night after Annie left and Danny and Kim, feeling down about her leaving, decided to pay a visit somewhere to eat their sorrows.
"Another triple cheeseburger, please." Danny went in a down voice.
Bob shook his head.
"That's like your 3rd already." Bob says.
"We burn off calories fast…" Kim adds.
"That and I learned at 21 why me drinking is a bad idea…" Danny adds.
It was an experience he would rather not think about. Even if they long since paid for the damages.
"That was a fun weekend, replacing all those windows…" Kim says sarcastically.
"And payments on that car I landed on." Danny adds.
"And that door that you had to replace." Kim finished.
Danny sighed in embarrassment before turning to Bob.
"So, one more?" Danny asks.
Bob nods as Ron waves to him.
"Another Deep Bleu Brie Burger, please…" Ron says in a down voice.
"We're out of Bleu Cheese for now, sorry." Bob says.
Ron sighed.
"Not only is there no outside food allowed, not even my favorite burger…" Ron grumbled.
"We shall have your Nice Guys Spinach Last Burger, please." Yori says.
''Coming right up..." Bob said as he went to get their order.
The parents all sighed.
Here they were, at Bob's Burgers, eating away their sorrows of their eldest now moving out of the house.
The Fentons and The Stoppables were here, along with Danny's two best friends.
Tucker and Sam didn't bring their significant others, as they had some work to do at home.
''I'll have another veggie burger... which you don't give a clever name for due to meat preference." Sam said, having finished her first one.
"One more Glory Glory Jalapeno Burger…" Tucker said.
"That's like your 5th one…" Sam pointed out.
"I got a meeting tomorrow, I can't afford a hangover…" He says.
"Fair enough. Somehow, eating meat sounds more responsible…" Sam admits.
Tucker rolled his eyes.
Even after all these years and her son being an omnivore, Sam isn't as lenient with Tucker.
The door was heard opening as Bob saw who it was.
"Sorry, we're closed for a private party." He says.
"It's okay, they're with us…" Danny said as he saw who it was. "Jake… Rose…"
''Hi Danny... Kim… Sam and Tucker." Rose said.
Everyone waved to them.
"One Glazed and Infused Burger, please…" Jake says as he took his seat.
"Make that two… for me." Rose adds as she sat with him.
Everyone other than her husband stared at that. They chose not to speak up, figuring Rose works out almost as much as Kim herself.
"So, when did Sunny go?" Danny asks.
"She flew off this morning. Her school is a rival to Annie's… I guess they'll compete in everything." Jake mused.
"I guess so…" Danny admits with a chuckle.
His daughter and Jake's daughter always seem to be competing at something.
"How's Luke and little Susan?" Kim asks.
"Haley and Fu are watching them." Rose says.
"Cool… my folks are watching our kids. My dad's giving Danny Junior a few lessons in some new tech." Danny says.
"Let's hope they don't find out what they want for Christmas." Jake quipped.
Everyone laughed at that.
The door opened again and five people walked through.
"Mr. and Mrs. Levin…" Danny said in a mused tone.
"Mrs. Tennyson-Levin, former president, thank you very much." Gwen insisted.
"Sorry…" Danny said in a chuckle. "And Mr. and Mrs. Tennyson… sorry, Doctor Mrs. Tennyson."
"You're not a guest at my hospital, Danny… you can call me Ami." She responded.
''Okay, Ami..." Danny said with a smile.
It was still amusing that the two were remarried, and to each other, a year ago. Considering Ami chose him but he didn't during that dating service Danny met Kim on.
At the very least, Ben and Julie were at least friends again and were getting along. Along with that, Ken no longer had to deal with them fighting. Plus, now he has a stepsister he gets along with.
"Hello, Danny-kun, Kim-san." Makoto went, reminding of her presence.
"Hello, Lita..." Danny greeted the other Guardian. "Where are the rest of your friends?"
"It's just us. I'm just here in case they need a designated pilot in case they get something more adult. Besides, my daughter Mako is also studying abroad." Makoto says.
''And Ami Jr. has left to study back in Japan for the entire Summer." Ami said, causing the others to raise a brow.
"Mako? Ami Jr? Not a huge list of names, huh?" Jake asks.
The two gave a mildly annoyed look, choosing not to answer that.
"So, Kenny's left to study abroad too?" Kim asks.
"Yeah…" Ben said in a depressed voice.
"I know we always joke about how time consuming they are… but I didn't stop to think what would happen when they leave…" Kevin says glumly.
"I take it your daughter's doing the same?" Danny asks.
"Yup." Gwen admits. "I'm actually more down about this than I thought… one Random Jacks of Chive-ness Burger… wow, is that a dumb name."
"The Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-Dot Zucchini burger." Ami asks, though she looked rather awkward at saying that. "That's a mouthful…"
"Gotcha..." Bob said as he went to get their orders after giving the burgers that was just asked for.
Another came in through the door.
''I'll have the If Looks Could Kale burger..." A new voice said, one that they all knew.
"Violet? Didn't think you'd show up…" Danny said.
"Isn't your oldest still living with you?" Kim asks.
"Yeah… but both my sons are going on a camping trip with my folks for the Summer…" Violet admits, sighing. "I already miss them, so...can I have in on this?"
"Sure…" Danny answers.
Bob was in the middle of making the extra burgers when the door opened again.
"Great… more guests…" Bob muttered as he brought the Longs and the Levins their food.
"Yeah, but you can't complain about how broke you are anymore, right?" Kim asks.
"No, I can't." Bob admits.
"It's just you?" Danny asks.
"Yeah… tonight at least." Bob says.
The guest, a certain alien powerhouse, hovered to the counter.
"How's it going, Starfire?" Danny asks.
"My daughter is with her friends on a mission, one to see if they will be able to one day join the adult branch, The Titans." Starfire says, sighing. "May I join this party of the missing of children? I wish to try the New Bacon-ings Burger."
''Coming right up..." Bob said as he went back to cooking.
Starfire took a booth next to her old friends as she waited for her burger.
The door opened once more and another old friend joined the party.
"Hey, everyone…" April went.
"April? What are you and Casey doing here?" Kim asks.
"Our kids are going on a bit of a trip with our Turtle friends to graduate from Ninja Classes…" Casey asks.
"We weren't feeling pizza since it reminded us of them… so we borrowed an old Kraang portal device when we heard your little get together on social media." April said.
Bob heard this and sighed.
"Great… anyone else coming? Should I let Deadpool know you're here?" Bob asks.
"Well, I wouldn't have a-"
"NO!" Everyone but Danny went as he was cut off.
"NO PLEASE!" Ami went.
"ANYONE but him!" Gwen said.
"DON'T DO IT, I BEG OF YOU!" Sam shouts.
"PLEASE NO!" Starfire adds.
"Oh, thank you…" Bob mutters.
Danny just sat there, surprised.
"Wow, I guess I really am the only one who does see him as a friend…"
"Yes, you do." Everyone said in unison.
Danny was silent at that before going back to his burger.
As he took a bite, Kim did remind him of one thing to keep his spirits up.
"Well… at least Danny Junior's not going anywhere for a while… unless Erica was there." Kim admitted.
Danny shook his head.
"Poor kid, even I knew better than to latch onto girls that old compared to me." Danny admits.
His wife had an incredulous look on her face.
"There's also the fact that she's evil and our eldest daughter's archenemy, remember?" Kim reminds him.
Danny smiled a bit.
"Right… I guess I'm not as matured as we thought." He admits.
Kim smiled.
"It's okay, you matured where it's needed."
"That reminds me, how are Alex and Martin?" Danny asks.
"Great, turns out that retreat to Tamaran was just what they needed to rejuvenate their relationship." Kim says. "I guess I misjudged Martin, he's definitely grown up… 99% at least."
Danny laughed at that before he heard a beeping.
"Babe, your watch." He says.
Kim answers it.
"Go Wade."
He appeared via hologram to them.
"Kim, I just got a message from Annie…" He says.
Both of them got out of their seats, alerting everyone.
"What happened?!" Kim went.
"Is she in trouble?!" Danny asks.
"Is she hurt?!" Kim asks.
"Was it Freakshow?! Skulker?!" Danny asked urgently.
"Dementor?! Or the Bebes again?!" Kim also questioned.
"Guys… relax…" He said with a calm tone. "She just wanted to show you this."
He pressed a button.
It showed Annie waving to them in a picture with RJ's arm around her. They were stopping at Malibu, evident by a sign in the back, not far from their college.
They were both also smiling.
Seeing that calmed the two down.
"She's… okay?" Danny asks.
"Looks like it… but why'd she send it to you?" Kim asked.
"She was afraid the moment you two got a message or call straight from her, you guys would freak… and you kinda did." Wade went with an amused smirk, much to Kim's annoyance.
However, she calmed down.
"Yeah… that's true." She admits.
''Yeah..." Danny admits too. Now calm, he turned to the genius. "Thanks, Wade."
"Yeah, thanks." Kim spoke up.
"Anytime, Kim. Also, don't forget that Dr. Director will need you early on Monday." Wade went.
"I won't…" Kim says.
Once their call ended, Danny and Kim became aware that everyone was staring.
"Uhh... we overdid it." Danny said.
Everyone laughed playfully at what just happened.
"And you guys say I overreact…" Sam said with her arms crossed.
''Okay, we deserved that..." Danny admitted.
"Remember, she's your kid and you two raised her and trained her. She knows what she's doing." Tucker assured.
After laughing, Danny felt lighter.
"What are we doing? We should be hopeful for our kids, not be depressed they're gone!"
'The others nodded and Kim smiled.
"That's true…" She says.
"Your husband always finds ways to make you smile, huh?" Ron asks.
"That's why I love him…" Kim says.
Danny held his burger over his head.
"To the next generation!" He declared.
Everyone did so.
"To the next generation!" They all went.
Everyone shared a bite and the rest of the night is them celebrating their kids, rather than missing them.
It actually helped lighten the mood a bit as they instead started talking about hopes for their kids.
Jake and Rose were speaking with Kevin and Gwen and Ben and Ami were talking while sharing a kiss. Violet was speaking with Sam and Tucker. Casey was competing with Starfire to see who could eat the most fries.
She won, while Casey moped with April comforting him.
All the while, Danny held his arm around Kim as they kissed.
"I love you." Kim said.
"I love you too." Danny said as their little party got livelier.
Little did they know, they were watched.
In the Ghost Zone
Clockwork, the master of time, watched this event with a smile and a guest.
"What do you think?" He asks.
"I love it." NeoMark went.
"I see you're proud of how things went." Clockwork pointed out.
"I am. Can we… look ahead?" NeoMark asked.
"I can show what's to come 20 years from now." Clockwork said as he raised his staff and aimed at the monitor.
The monitor depicted what looked like static before clearing up.
20 years later in Amity Park
The home of Danny and Kim Fenton was a bit emptier, now that their children were all grown up.
They still kept in touch but it wasn't the same. Those days of controlling four kids with superpowers, two of which were always causing trouble, were long gone. As were others in their lives.
Kim looked sadly at the photo of her father, who passed away roughly 5 years ago. Her mother was now living in a comfy retirement home, though they both missed him dearly, just as Danny misses his father.
It was sad but she took some comfort with the fact that he went out proud of his daughter and her husband, as well as his grandkids.
"Danny? Are you sure… my dad's not in the Ghost Zone? That I can't find him or my Nana there?" She asks.
Danny only shared a sympathetic look before placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Kim… I love you, but I won't lie. I'm sorry, but no. Ghosts like Poindexter, Desiree and Ember had obsessions, extreme attachments and unfinished goals. As a result, their souls, or consciousness, allowed them to be reborn, so to speak. Your dad, Nana and Uncle Slim, as well as my dad, all had none of those things. They lived full, happy lives and their final days were in peace. They have nothing to keep them lingering here any longer and can rest happily…"
Kim gave a sad, though relieved sigh.
"I see… I guess it's best that way." She says.
Danny places his hand on hers. His smile got her out of it.
She put her dad's photo back on the shelf.
Later, in a few minutes.
"Kim! They're on TV!" Danny called out.
"Coming!" She called back.
She brought a tray of snacks and sat next to him.
Even though they were in their 60's, the two now retired heroes were more than happy to step in when their family needed it. They also can't help but watch what their kids are up to now.
All four of them were married and with families, but being heroes was in their blood.
Annie fulfilled her studies on animals, devoting her money to the preservation of bears, as well as designing teddy bears out of a love for them that never died. She and RJ married 15 years ago and moved to Middleton after the Stoppables did so. As she stated, she became a prominent hero, with part-time membership to almost every major adult hero team in the world. When not involved with major stuff, she was content to just work on teddy bears, and the one other person in her life she loved more than her husband. Danny Fenton Jr, the new Danny Phantom, was the proud protector of Amity Park and he was already in a relationship with someone. He was already a proud father. Manny and Frannie Phantom, while they grew out of the trouble makers they were, never grew apart. Even though married, the two worked together even in their non-hero times. They were Olympic level athletes, Manny was in track and Frannie was in gymnastics, they also have families of their own.
However, the four were always more than happy to pitch in and work together, showing how close they've remained.
It made them proud and they knew that they did right with their kids.
As the two smiled at watching their kids grown up and giving interviews, a knock at their door happened.
They shared competitive looks.
"First one there decides dinner?" Kim challenged.
"You're on." Danny went as he morphed.
Kim smirked and Danny smirked back.
They both bolted to the door and both made it at the same time.
"I win!" They both went before laughing.
"Call it a tie?" Kim questioned.
"Sure… you somehow get better while I'm getting slower…" Danny admits.
"Oh, you just wanted a tie…" Kim pointed out playfully.
They opened the door, seeing their adult son-in-law there.
"Kim, Danny…" RJ went.
"You're our son-in-law now, remember? You can just say Mom and Dad." Kim reminded.
"I know… anyway, Ronnie and I are going to help CJ get a gift for his wife and daughter. Meantime… care to watch over this little one? She's been itching to spend time you."
CJ gestured to a 10-year-old girl with Annie's hairstyle as a teen, only black. She had Annie's eyes and smile. A smile that grew when she saw them.
"Grandpa! Grandma!" She went as she hugged the two.
"Dawn? Oh my, you're getting bigger." Danny went.
Kim laughed as she hugged their granddaughter.
Dawn Kimberly Stoppable is the only daughter of RJ and Anne Fenton-Stoppable. She, like her mother, was raised with a strong sense of right and wrong, and a desire to do good for the world. Due to her mother's quarter-ghost abilities, Dawn's ghostly powers were minimal, as in she can only create ecto-energy, but can't fly or overshadow someone. However, she did have a bit of the monkey powers her father and grandfather had.
Regardless, Danny and Kim adored their granddaughter.
"We can definitely look after her." Kim says.
About one hour passed.
When Annie was about Dawn's age, Kim used to train with her in the backyard. That tradition continues with Dawn.
Annie had always said that she had the name of her firstborn set in two, either Dan or Dawn. Danny never really cared for people shortening the name to Dan, thinking it didn't sound as cool. Dawn was born a girl, so they knew which name to go with.
Dawn was very much like her mother at a young age, just as eager and just as protective of her friends.
Right now, Kim was sparing with her granddaughter. She is using her superior skills and experience to show her the ropes.
Kim recalled how her Nana was the one human on Earth with no powers who she could never truly match, so it seemed like a family tradition for her to be able to do the same with her own granddaughter.
''You are doing great, Dawn but make sure to watch your footing..." Kim said as she kept sparring with her.
"Okay, Nana Kim..." Dawn said as she dodging her grandmother's moves.
Kim swept her leg, causing Dawn to lose her footing.
Danny watched with the same lovesick smile he's had since their first date.
"Age has not dulled her skills… Man that's hot!" He said to himself.
He went back to watching his wife spar with their granddaughter.
Kim helped her granddaughter up.
"You're improving, it took me 3 minutes to knock you down last time." Kim said with an encouraging smile.
"I spar with Mom, but she's not as tough as you, and you don't even have powers, Nana Kim. You're even better than Obachan Yori." Dawn went.
"Aww… thanks." Kim said.
Danny approached.
"How's the training?"
"Good." Kim said.
Danny sent his wife a flirty look.
"Not bad for the hottest, toughest woman in her 80's, who still has the physique of a person at 40." Danny said.
"Thank you, that means a lot from someone whose powers causes him to look in his prime, even at this age." Kim responded.
"Are we sure your parents didn't experiment on you or something as a kid?" He asked, earning an annoyed pout. "I know, I know… Possible genes." He said.
She smiled and nodded.
"Exactly, who else kept you on your toes when you weren't fighting evil?" She asks playfully.
The two shared a kiss, much to their granddaughter's disgust as she looked away.
"Eww… grandparent cooties." Dawn went.
Both of them laughed.
"Just like her mother…" Danny said.
Dawn saw they weren't kissing anymore and relaxed.
"Grandpa Danny? Can I have that spaghetti you said your dad showed you to make?" She asked.
"I don't know, you had that the last time you visited us." Danny said.
That's when Dawn used her secret weapon.
Her lips quivered and her eyes got bigger and sadder looking.
"Please?" She asked with the puppy dog pout.
Danny flinched before groaning.
"You're definitely Kim Possible's granddaughter…" He sighed. "Don't tell me... you're doing it too, right Kim?" He asks.
"Maybe?" Kim went, doing the pout.
Danny laughed.
"Fine…" He said in a defeated tone.
"Yes!" Dawn cheered.
About an hour after dinner, as Dawn finished up and helped Kim with dishes, a knock was at the door.
"Mom? Dad? Dawn?" A familiar voice went.
"We're here!" Kim called out.
The figure phased through the door and found her way to the kitchen.
"Mom!" Dawn said as she went to her mother.
Annie hugged her.
"Hello there, my little Puppy-Dawn..." Annie said before turning to her parents. "I hope she wasn't any trouble."
"Nah. We love Dawn as much as Jack." Danny went.
Jack was Danny Jr's son, around the same age. He had as much gusto for eating as his great-grandfather. He also has ghostly powers, although only flight, super strength and invisibility.
"Thanks again, you guys." Annie said.
"Anytime… Annie-Bear." Kim went with a wink.
Annie blushed.
"Come on, I'm adult now…" She went, sounding slightly embarrassed.
"Too bad, we're not in public." Danny went before looking to his granddaughter. "Be good to your mom and stay safe, Puppy-Dawn."
"I will!" Dawn went proudly.
"Thanks again, Mom and Dad." Annie said as she took her daughter by the hand and the two were on their way out.
"Bye, Nana Kim! Bye, Grandpa Danny!" Dawn went.
"Bye bye, Puppy-Dawn!" Kim went.
"Take care!" Danny went.
"Bye Mom and Dad! See you soon!" Annie went.
Once Annie morphed into ghost form and carried her daughter with her into the air, the retired heroes sighed.
"Annie's grown into a fine woman, we did good." Kim went.
"Yes, we did…" Danny said. "So, spar and then desert?" He questioned.
Kim nodded.
"You know it…"
The two shared a kiss before heading to the backyard to spar.
"Just remember, Blue Fox. Jake and Rose are having their anniversary next week. Ben and Ami are going, so is Violet, Stitch and the Pelekai family, along with the Turtles, the Levins, the Jones family and I think even Ron said he's going. We need a gift." He reminded her as he morphed.
Kim nodded.
"Of course, Spaceman… now then…" She held her arms up and smiled competitively and almost seductively. "Before we take care of that sitch… let me remind that I can do anything…" She said before motioning for Danny to come.
The two ran to each other, intent on their usual spar with happy looks.
Once that sneak peak was finished, Clockwork retracted his staff, looking to a satisfied NeoMark.
"Anything else?" He asks.
"No… I think I'm good…" NeoMark admits.
"Well… I suppose now is where I leave you two alone…" Clockwork says as he flies off.
NeoMark remained, looking confused.
"Us two?"
"He means you and me." A familiar voice said.
NeoMark turned around and smiled at who he saw.
"Hey Boss…" He greeted.
It was Flower Princess11, the one who got him this job, the one who allowed him to ensure Kim Possible's entrance into the dating service that was You + Me = Love!
She is right here, looking the same way she did back then. Just like him.
"Clockwork showed everything and I just had to come..." She said.
"I hope this was to your liking..." NeoMark said.
The brunette woman smiled at him.
"Good job Neo. You did great here..." She said.
NeoMark smiled at her praise. He felt honored.
"Thanks, Boss..." He said.
''Yeah, but it could've used more Wonder Woman… and Shego… with me as we eat chimichangas to a Golden Girls marathon." Another familiar voice said.
Before NeoMark could say anything, he sighed.
"Okay Deadpool… feel free to show up right now…"
Deadpool teleported.
"Hey there, two who I guess we're suppose to presume might not be human despite looking like ones!" Deadpool greeted.
"I just wanna say… it's been fun in this universe. Now, I gotta deal with the other yous in other timelines…" NeoMark said.
"And I am honored to have shown up here, meeting new people, new frie- Danny." Deadpool said before looking to Flower Princess11. "It's been an honor meeting you and I apologize again for interrupting serious flashbacks. From now on, it's either my own or I'll mess with a villain's."
''Just try not to take too long if they are important to the plot..." The woman said and the merc nodded.
"So… will we ever see this world again?" Deadpool asks. "I'm asking of course for the followers of this story and fans of The Many Dates of Danny Fenton… which I still say needs a spin-off starring me!"
"That old chestnut again?" NeoMark asks.
"As fun as it is hanging with Danny or making Hank Hill's life a nightmare, though well deserved because NO ONE disses Betty White, I could use more of me!"
"Don't you think you messed with his life enough?" NeoMark asks.
"Hey, you made that a thing. Plus, he never apologized...so, no I don't." Deadpool insists with his arms crossed.
Both authors rolled their eyes, though with small smiles.
"Well, who knows. He might the next time we all work together. We will, right?" FP11 asks, also curious.
"Well… I'm sure we will through dimension hopping, or I could go the route of Akira Toriyama and do a story set during time skips… but for now, I'm just satisfied with this." NeoMark says.
"I still have my other projects to work on but I am satisfied with what you have done here. Good job." FP11 went.
"Sure… and I can always clown around with the other timelines…" Deadpool went.
"Wonderful… now go!" Clockwork says, descending from nowhere.
"Aww… I just got here! You sure you can't send me to when the Golden Girls were airing?" Deadpool whined.
"No…" Clockwork said with arms crossed.
"Fine…" Deadpool held out a device. "Be seeing ya."
"Wait… is that Cable's time machine?" NeoMark asks.
"With a few modifications. I sometime hang out with the other Deadpools in the other timelines… peace out, nerds!"
With that, Deadpool teleported.
NeoMark shook his head.
"We should do something about him at some point in this multiverse." NeoMark says.
"What do you suggest? Should we get The Mask?" FP11 suggested in a joking way.
"NO! That is WAY too much crazy! Plus, he isn't as fun as people think." NeoMark went.
"Depends on which version of him, you mean." FP11 says, pointing out that multiple versions of him exist.
"Can we at least agree that the sequel didn't happen in this multiverse? "Neo asked.
"Sure." FP11 responded.
After that, NeoMark took a breath.
"Well… I guess this is it." NeoMark went before turning to speak with Clockwork. "Is it alright if I… skim through this one more time?"
"Of course… I happen to have enjoyed this timeline… being stuck for 2 years in a cramped device not withstanding…" Clockwork says, looking a bit miffed about that last part.
"Yeah… sorry about that." NeoMark says.
"Blame Vlad Plasmius for breaking Dark Danny out." FP11 went.
"I did… and believe me, I took great joy banishing him to the Unworld. Y'know, our lovebirds here have definitely earned a spot in the Elsewhereness once it's their time. Care to see?" He suggested.
"Nah… I think we're more content just watching their lives." NeoMark said.
"Same here..." FP11 agreed.
"Very well…" Clockwork said.
He would not press on here. Flower Princess11 then felt it was time to leave.
"Well, I better get back, I have a few other pairings that need a little guidance." FP11 says.
"Alright… see you soon." NeoMark says.
With that, his boss parted ways and NeoMark was left to re-watch various aspects of their lives again.
From the beginning, both of these teenage heroes had cynical views of this strange website and disapproval of their friends pressuring them into joining. It was almost fate that Danny Fenton and Kim Possible were paired together first out of a whole month.
Both of them fought villains with their friends, both had scientist parents who were very embarrassing yet loved their children to no end. While Kim didn't know Danny's powers yet, both of them would find out just how compatible they were at more than just dating. In many ways, they were perfect for each other.
Both could recall the thing that made them decide who their match was. Danny was told by his father that the first person he thought of that morning would be the girl he had the strongest feelings for. Kim was told by her mother that the person she felt like she had butterflies in her tummy would be the one she was interested in.
Danny did his best to hide his identity, fearing of her reaction to him being half-ghost. Although he came to see how much he loved her, her talking about how honest and good he was while unaware that he was Danny Phantom made him nervous. When he did try to tell her his secret, he let it out too soon that he loves her, causing her to admit she loves him as well.
When she did find out, she was far more upset that he was hiding his secret than about what he was. Eventually, after hours in another world and meeting his eventual little sister and some ghostly friends, Kim forgave him and the two reaffirmed their love. Since then, they were almost inseparable.
While Ron was trying his best to be nice, he grew rather jealous and a bit distant with Danny. Danny chose to be patient and, within time, the two also became friends. As Danny once pointed out, they both cared for Kim and neither of them were sociopaths who saw her as a prize. Besides that, Ron became close with Yori and things took off from there.
While nervous about meeting Kim's family, Danny unintentionally met James Possible prior to the dinner and become a friendly acquaintance. It made being accepted by Kim's family easier. James and Ann Possible figured out his identity and kept it secret for him, something he was grateful for. The Tweebs, Jim and Tim, were a bit interested in experimenting on Danny whenever he was around. Thankfully, they got the hint from their sister to keep away.
They had their adventures together, meeting Jake Long and other new friends, meeting old dates, encountering all kinds of new villains together, and the incident where Danny had to give up his powers to save his family. Fortunately, once he got them back, he and Kim were able to save the world when Vlad Plasmius, working with Doctor Drakken, brought what became known as the Disasteroid to Earth, putting the planet hostage unless the world accepted him as ruler.
That was the battle where Danny's identity was revealed to the entire world and his life changed for the better. Vlad wanted to demoralize everyone, instead they rooted for Danny, giving him the strength to defeat the villain in battle and, unwittingly, launching him into space.
The entire year that followed after that was a year of change. Danielle, his clone, had been adopted by his family. His reveal caused Casper High's less than stellar treatment of their students to be exposed. Furthermore, new laws made it clear that people were not allowed to interact with him during school hours. It's only thanks to Kim that he was able to handle his newfound recognition. He chose to just remain humble and casual and, in time, people stopped hounding him until he was an adult. A lot happened that year, villain team ups and Danielle became Danny's partner in fighting ghosts, not to mention that Kim's parents and his worked on more projects together.
In their senior year, however, saw their biggest challenge yet.
An armored ghost who had wiped out various civilizations named Thanatos was attacking Earth. He seemed to have a vast interest in ruining Danny and Kim's relationship and end the life of the latter. This being seemed to know so much about Danny, even turning a former date and someone Danny used to fear being around against him. Fortunately, she turned it around, earning Danny's forgiveness. At the same time, an alien invasion occurred and while the heroes were able to repel. However, the aliens themselves met an unfortunate end when this same evil ghost crossed their paths.
It's only after the aliens were dealt with, did Danny realize who the armored man was. It was the one whom they started calling Dark Danny. His goal was both to ruin Danny's life to ensure his existence, and also to turn himself into a deity so that he would be unstoppable.
It's only due to Danny and Kim's love and closeness did the two manage to finally defeat him and, due to literally running out of time, erase him from existence. Once that was done, life returned to normal, even as they went to college. It also helped that Danny saw a vision of the future with a little girl he and Kim would have.
It was only after returning home, dealing with an alien psychopath who wanted Danny as her mate rather quickly and some vengeful foes, the two celebrated their anniversary and it was then did Danny finally propose to Kim. She happily accepted.
While their wedding was interrupted by both their villains, including the ghosts of the Lorwardian invaders, it was a success.
One month later, the couple learned Kim was pregnant. Danny was ecstatic, as it meant their little girl was finally coming home. Within 9 months, Ann Madeline Fenton, Annie Fenton for short, was born.
She was exactly what they expected her to be. She was an adorable little girl in those early days. She was innocent, well-mannered, and she loved spending time with her father. She loved both her parents, though it was her father she was closest to. The night her powers kicked in proved this. She was but a small child, so her mind did not fully process what was going on. It took seeing her father as Danny Phantom to get her to calm down. Danny and Kim wanted to wait until she was older to learn about what they actually do, but it seems her genetics kicked in before that could happen. Much to their surprise, and joy, she embraced who she was instantly.
Since that day, Annie was being raised and trained to follow in their footsteps. No matter how much older she got, she never stopped wanting this. Even as her interests changed over the years, she never stopped wanting to be a hero. Whether it's genetics or that the two were more effective parents than they thought, Danny and Kim set Annie on the right path. She found love with her childhood friend, Ron Stoppable Jr, and are now parents to the adorable and amazingly skilled Dawn Kimberly Stoppable.
The rest of their kids were the same. Daniel James Fenton Jr, or DJ, grew up to be just like his father, with a bit of his mother's pride. The twins Manny and Frannie were still as close and they were still a force to be reckoned with. Even as Danny Jr, or just Daniel when he's with his family, raised his family and took his job as a science teacher seriously, he always made time for helping people. Manny and his wife raised their son James, while Franny and her husband raised their own son Timothy. Both were born around the exact same time and they never really grew apart. They even lived next door to each other, it was an insistence.
They still hang out with their friends. Annie is the godmother to CJ and Tawnie's child, named after Tawnie's grandmother Nonnie. Tuck and Candice help out at GJ, replacing Wade as the mission operator for the family as their son, who they named after Wade, is shown the ropes.
As for their adult friends, things didn't change too much. Ron and Yori were teaching at the new Yamanouchi school, which has training for facing ghosts and aiding the Phantom-Possible bloodline. Sam retired, albeit reluctantly, from her days of protests and fighting "the man" due to age and realization she's not doing much good as she thought. Tucker went into software development while Velma became a best-selling author.
There were times where they would look back on all their adventures, all the lives they've saved, and Kim would always brush off people's gratitude by saying the saving was "no big". Danny dealt with all sorts of suitors, as well as women who wanted to steal him. While he forgave Katie Kaboom, both Princess Mandie and Camille Leon were the most obnoxious and persistent. Even Ember, who still was attracted to him, wasn't that obsessed with him. Thankfully, Kim was always there, and a far better fighter than them. Only big-name heroines like Black Widow and Black Canary could ever really defeat her in hand-to-hand combat. Kim did gain more male admirers who thought she was amazing, but unlike Danny's admirers, they backed off because they knew she'd tear them apart if they tried anything.
Officially, they retired after the twins moved out, but they still liked to pop in every now and then since retirement was too relaxing for them. Besides, there was only so much sparing they could do before they had the urge to take on someone else to show their progress and prove that they can still kick butt.
Even in their 80's, they still had peek conditions, able to run, do their jumps, and of course fight. At this point, villains like Freakshow and Doctor Drakken had passed away. Shego was using drops of the Lazarus Pits to stay young enough to sometimes scrap with Kim if they met again.
Their daughters, on the other hand, were still at it. While Annie married RJ and had a family, Erica or Miss Ego has had multiple men in her life, yet RJ was the one she clearly wanted the most. Whether to annoy Annie or she genuinely likes him, Erica couldn't pass up making a flirty comment about him.
Aside from that, their lives were still as fun and active as ever and Danny and Kim are still together.
They lived out their lives, happy and content. Some say they have a spot in the Elsewhereness to themselves, but no one could ever know that.
All that is known is how no one realize what would come when it all started the day.
Many Years Ago...
"I wonder where she is?" Danny asked outside of what became their favorite place to eat in later years, Café de Fleurs.
Kim had just arrived, late due to trying to deal with Doctor Drakken and Shego. She was keeping a microchip they stole safe with her. When she saw this boy waiting outside for her, she decided to let him know of her presence.
She tapped on his shoulder.
"Excuse me? Are you D-Fenton?" Kim asks.
As Danny sighed, he turned around. He gasped at what he saw while Kim examined this boy.
Danny saw a very pretty redhead with fair skin and beautiful green eyes. She had an athletic build, with a green sleeveless top, and blue jeans for pants.
Kim saw a young man of slightly messy black hair with baby blue eyes. He was of average build with a t-shirt and jeans.
Neither of them knew it at the time, but they had just met the one that they would love for the rest of their lives. Neither expected their first date would even be attractive. Kim thought Danny was very cute while Danny was floored by how Kim looked. They would soon find something far more beautiful than just what they look like, that would be for when they got to know each other better.
Meanwhile, Danny found the courage to speak.
"You… you mean that you're KPSuperTeen?" He asks.
Flattered, Kim responded.
"You can call me Kim, Kim Possible." She responded.
With a pretty smile, Kim made Danny blush, making him cuter to her.
"You… you can call me Danny Fenton. Uh, these are for you…" He said, shyly giving her a bouquet.
Kim took them gratefully.
"Wow, thanks Danny. These are lovely." She said before becoming apologetic. "I am sorry that I was late… I had to take care of a "sitch" on my way over here… I hope you're not upset." Kim responded.
Danny blinked before deciding to make sure she wasn't upsetting him.
"That's okay. I wasn't waiting that long." He said.
"Cool." She said with a smile before walking to the entrance. "So, are you ready for our date?"
With a grin, Danny nodded.
Little did the two know that in that moment, in this timeline, their lives changed… for the better.
The End
I would like to thank all of my readers and followers for sticking with this story.
A few things I realized I never brought up.
1) Amity Park in my stories is set in California, since they never specify a location in the series. 2) I didn't know when the months of the star signs were at the time, let's just assume they either lied or placement of months is messed with thanks to Deadpool
I HEARD THAT!
... Oh yeah, he's still here.
It's cool... I'm off, see you in the other four timelines!
Gotcha! Anyway, 3) A good chunk of time skips are likely to be seen as the canon story things happening without each other (unless specified).
Anyway... phew, this is it, huh?
Actually, let me answer some responses first:
Flower Princess11: Thank you, and another thanks for letting me do this.
guardian1989: She eventually came to accept her son is not like her. Erica still likes to hit on him from time to time.
Invader Johnny: A FITTING punishment. Also, she learned to not be so controlling. And yeah, that was my idea.
Jebest4781: A good run indeed.
61394: Thank you, I look forward to your stuff too.
Fiction Realm: Glenn Quagmire, Helga von Guggen, Ed Wuncler I, Uncle Ruckus, Cotton Hill, Stan Smith and Argit.
pokemon fan 1991: Wasn't a fan of the finale. He and the rest of Quahog were revived... in a prison. Also, Brian will be going there at some point.
RonaldM40196867: If not Kim then Yori.
Phangirl Starblade: Yeah, he is kinda sexist, isnt' he? Also, answered that question about Unworld denizens already.
Themetavoorhes: Sorry, not a fan... almost everything it does now doesn't ever sit well with me.
RandomAnonymous: I probably will in the future.
danifan3000: Good chance he was in prison for that too. Also, good chance she doesn't let them see their grandkids without her okay.
Luiz4200: They did. Yup, another, with Sheldon and Thompson got happy endings. And Helena lives. True, but he was pretty disliked and wanted gone fast. Uncle Ruckus. Warhok needs someone to blame for his fate, and Vlad's failed plan got him captured.
Batguy01: All I can say is everyone has opinions and can't help themselves, that and I watch too many shows that get away with doing stuff like that. As for Seth, I thought he was just a terrible guy, but I kind of realize he doesn't really have the enthusiasm for Family Guy anymore. If anything, he wants the show over ASAP. That said, I don't like his sense of humor or his mocking of religion.
Guest: Thank you.
Jay the Average Fanboy: They likely were, just not mentioned. Probably raising their own family. A few, including early stuff. Nope, I plan to make the rest a bit longer. This was very enjoyable.

Trent. 30) Madurez. 31) Algunas cosas nunca cambian.
Leonardo: Nah, I think 5 is enough. Plus some of the ones I wanted were taken.
Chester A Bum: Last update.
Soggy Fysher Woods: Thanks, but I didn't use it. I don't really see Danny singing it to be honest, sorry.
BeConFuzzled Writer: Glad you liked this.
wiseguy2415: Truthfully, I'd rather use the Generation 1 Transformers. Congrats on the certificate.
And so ends this story.
Thank you all for reading. Maybe sometime we'll see this world again.
