Chika Son: Goku's Daughter
Chapter 65: The Games Begin
Chika flew closely next to her father as they headed toward the Cell Games Arena with Gohan, Minako, Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, Yamcha and Tien.
The nine warriors landed behind Vegeta and all of them glared at Cell in silence.
"Welcome."Cell responded smugly. "Welcome, everybody."
"Why did they have to come?"Vegeta thought with a scowl.
Android 16 began approaching the group to thank Krillin for saving him.
"Android 16!"Krillin remarked. "Your back!"
"Yes and thank you."Android 16 replied with a smile. "Because of your help, I am fully functional again."
"Aw shucks, your welcome."Krillin chuckled.
"My name is Goku."Goku introduced as he walked forward and took out his hand.
Android 16 looked away from Goku before looking back and responding.
"I know your name."Android 16 stated. "I was created only to destroy you. Though I've chosen not to."
Krillin chuckled nervously as Goku looked at him.
"Get a load of Mr personality."Goku whispered.
"Ladies and gentlemen!"the Reporter announced. "I don't know what to say about these new comers, but they are very intriguing!"
"Hey! Don't forget about me!"Mr Satan reminded.
"Okay then."Goku said with a confident smirk and crackled his knuckles. "Let's get this going and if you want I'll be first."
"Goku, you don't have to be the first one to fight."Trunks said.
"What do you say, Vegeta?"Goku asked.
"Be my guest."Vegeta replied. "We all know in the end it's going to be who's going to finish up Cell."
"As if."Minako scoffed with her arms folded.
"Mina..."Trunks started.
"Hey!"Mr Satan shouted angrily. "Don't you know I'm the champ around here?!"
The reporter walked up to Goku.
"Excuse me, sir."the Reporter said. "But I was wondering if you or your friends we're going to take part in the tournament."
"Of course."Goku answered with a smile. "I'll be going first."
Mr Satan rushed forward and shoved the reporter out of the way.
"I just had enough of you, clowns!"Mr Satan snapped. "And your stupid jokes! Now clear out of here before I get angry!"
"Don't blame a grain, you grease ball."Krillin scoffed with a frown.
"I'm sorry I forget."Mr Satan said with a smirk. "You wimps have been training in the woods your whole lives. So you don't realise that I am Hercule Satan is the Martial Arts Champion in the World!"
Chika let out a bored yawn and covered her mouth.
"You sound like the lamest of jokes if you ask me."Chika commented.
Minako nodded. "You said it."
"It appears these young female fighters don't care who you are, Mr Satan."the Reporter said in surprise.
"Not matter."Mr Satan answered and started bragging. "Since none of them don't know who I am, I'll show them how strong I am."
Krillin looked at Goku.
"I believe we let this nerd ball go first."Krillin insisted.
"You think we should?"Goku asked.
"It's time."Cell declared.
"Listen, Mr Satan!"Goku said. "If you fight Cell, your going to get killed!"
Mr Satan and the Reporter smiled at each other, but simply shrugged and didn't believe what Goku said.
But then Mr Satan's students showed up and decide to fight Cell first.
Each of them were defeated with virtually no effort from Cell.
Mr Satan then stepped in and was defeated in a more 'forceful' manner, with Cell pushing him aside into the mountain side.
Finally, Goku stepped into the ring to fight Cell.
"Fight and beat Cell, dad."Chika thought with a confident smirk. "Make him pay for all the awful things he has done."
Goku began to power up causing a Super Explosive Wave that sends Mr Satan and the gang flying backwards is given off.
The Dragon Team were in awe at Goku's power except for Gohan, who had seen it before.
Even Vegeta was shocked at Goku's true power.
"What power!"Yamcha shouted.
"That's for sure!"Tien agreed.
"That's incredible!"Trunks commented.
"My gosh..."Minako whispered.
"I can't believe this is happening."Piccolo responded.
"Go, dad!"Chika remarked in amazement.
"That's it, dad."Gohan thought firmly. "You can do it."
Mr Satan, his students and the Z TV crew were dumbfounded at the power that Goku had.
Goku not only had the typical Super Saiyan aura, but his body flashed energy as well.
"That's it, Goku."Cell thought with a dark smile. "Show me the true power of a Super Saiyan."
A evil smirk crept up on Cell's face before he started powering up in a similar fashion ending with similar results.
Goku smirked at Cell's power energy while the others looked at the sight in shock.
"It's a stand off."Krillin stated with a frown. "They are both fighting at maximum power."
Chika felt an uneasy feeling grown inside her when Goku began approaching Cell causing Gohan to hold her hand tightly.
"It's okay, Chi."Gohan assured calmly. "Dad knows what he is doing."
"I hope he is."Chika replied with a worried look and looked at her father. "Be careful, daddy."
"Your move."Cell insisted.
Goku smirked. "Of course."
Goku punched Perfect Cell in the gut and kicked him in the jaw.
The two fighters began to fight with their full power, each landing as good as they get.
They stopped fighting and return to the ring.
"Good, Goku."Cell sneered. "At last an worthy opponent. This is the competition I've been waiting for. Since our powers are almost equal, it should be an interesting contest, don't you think?"
A smirk spread on Goku's face as he stood in his fighting position.
"Yeah."Goku agreed. "Count on it."
"So at last I have seen Kakarot's true power."Vegeta thought in disbelief. "How did he get so strong?"
"Hey Mina."Trunks said with a stunned look. "Between the two of them, who do you think will win?"
"Love, isn't it obvious?"Minako chuckled with a hint of pride. "My Grandfather is the man and Cell is gonna get it."
"Of course, dad is going to win."Gohan thought, agreeing with his future niece. "This is what his been training. Now everyone is going to see what he can really do."
Perfect Cell makes use of Tien's split form technique and split himself into 4 Perfect Cells which Goku easily fought in hand to hand combat.
The four Cells use Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon on Goku, who avoided it easily.
Goku lured the Perfect Cells into the air and pounds them back to the arena floor causing Perfect Cell to become one again.
"Pull yourself together, Cell."Goku answered smugly.
"He did it!"Krillin remarked.
"Yay!"Chika cheered. "Cell is down!"
"Chika don't celebrate just yet."Gohan reminded quietly. "It's not over."
Chika's happy expression vanished hearing that.
"Goku beat Cell!"Trunks said with a smirk. "That means he won the tournament!"
"I doubt it."Vegeta scoffed with his arms folded. "Can't you see it's exactly what Cell wants you to think. His playing one of his tricks on you that's all. If you weren't busy celebrating, you would've notice Cell's life force isn't diminished."
Cell's menacing eyes immediately opened which alarmed Goku.
"I hate to admit it, but Vegeta is right."Minako mumbled with a glare.
"No!"Krillin denied. "It can't be!"
Perfect Cell stood up and uses Frieza's Death Saucer technique to chase Goku around.
However, Goku was too fast and even with 2 disks after him was able to avoid them, though it appeared as if they do go through him.
Perfect Cell uses Goku's Kamehameha with all his power.
The blast was more than enough to destroy the Earth, Goku lured the blast into space and used the Instant Transmission to avoid the blast.
"Way da go, dad."Gohan thought. "That was a close one."
"A very close one, Gohan."Chika thought with a startled look.
"But how?"Cell questioned. "That blast was too closely for you to possibly escape."
"I guess it was luck."Goku replied simply.
"Of course, your very lucky."Cell agreed. "But how did you disappear and appear again?"
"A new technique."Goku answered. "The instant transmission."
"Instant, huh? Sounds like a useful little manoeuvre."Cell complemented.
"Yeah, it is."Goku said with a frown. "You know that blast could've destroyed the Earth, if I didn't move it."
"Yeah, maybe so."Cell sneered. "But I knew you would do something heroic to save it."
"So you were counting on me."Goku guessed with a smirk.
"Well, don't get the wrong idea."Cell replied. "I don't care one bit about this planet or its filthy people. But without it, there'd be no one to KILL!"
Perfect Cell increases his speed to the point where Goku can't see him and then appeared from behind.
Goku and Cell started fighting at an incredible pace as the others watched from below.
"Aw man!"Krillin retorted. "Cell is good!"
"Whoa! They're fast!"Chika said in awe. "Look at them go!"
Vegeta gritted his teeth in anger.
"Try harder, dad."Gohan thought. "I know you can do it!"
Cell managed to land a powerful blow on Goku, quickly following up with a barrage of punches, but Goku breaks Cell's offensive and the two once again disappear into the air above the ring, both unable to land a blow on one another for some time.
Goku finally reached Cell's speed before he delivered a painful knee to Cell's stomach.
He then managed to land a heavy kick to Cell's face and the two fighters take the fight back to the bottom of the ring, where Goku was nearly knocked out of bounds, but managed to swiftly recover.
"You almost fell out of the ring."Cell sneered. "If you had I would've declared to be the winner of this little match of ours."
"Huh?"Goku said in confusion.
"Is the game too hard for you?"Cell questioned. "Should I make it easier? Perhaps I should make it more interesting?"
Goku noticed Cell raising his hand to sent a blast.
"Hold on!"Goku demanded. "What are you doing?"
"I am tired of being confined by that ring anyway."Cell declared. "Oh, and you might want to tell your friends to...clear the area."
Goku's eyes widen as Cell let out a sinister chuckle.
"HEY!"Goku yelled out. "GET AWAY FROM THE RING NOW!"
Everyone went out of the way as Cell sent a big blast to destroy the arena.
When the smoke cleared away, it showed a giant hole where the arena used to be.
Android 16 saved Mr Satan and the other people from being hit by the blast.
Goku and Cell landed on the ground, where the Son twins and their companions watched them.
"How do you like that, Goku?"Cell asked. "It's quite an improvement, don't you think? Now the whole desert is our ring. Let's just say the last one standing wins the game."
"I see."Goku said with a smirk. "So it's a fight to the finish."
"Would you have it any other way?"Cell questioned.
"No."Goku responded and moved his legs a bit. "I guess not."
"Right. That's enough talk, Goku."Cell declared. "Let's continue our game."
Cell and Goku resume their incredibly intense fight.
Now spanning the huge landscape surrounding them, both the two fighters were now equal in speed and power with each landing numerous blows on one another.
"They're even!"Trunks said in shock. "Not only equal in speed! But now they're equal in power as well!"
"This is insane!"Minako retorted.
"What is the secret of Kakarot's power?"Vegeta thought in concern.
The ground continued to shake violently by Goku and Cell's powers as the Son twins watched the intense scene.
After an exchange of powerful Energy blasts, Goku quickly flew high above Cell and began to charge a Kamehameha with a ton of his remaining energy.
"What is Goku doing?"Krillin asked nervously.
"Kame...hame..."Goku started.
"Everyone get down!"Piccolo protested. "Take cover! Goku is in the Kamehameha!"
"Goku wouldn't dare do the Kamehameha all the way up there!"Cell cackled. "He would destroy the Earth if he does!"
"No!"Gohan shouted. "Don't do it!"
"Daddy! Stop it!"Chika protested. "Please!"
"No!"Cell argued in fear. "He wouldn't!"
Gohan, Chika and the rest of the Z Fighters were shocked, incredulous that Goku will release the wave at Cell from above for fear of vaporizing the planet and everybody on it.
However Goku used Instant Transmission at the last second to release the attack at point blank range upwards into Cell, completely destroying everything above his upper torso including his arms and head.
As the dust from the incredibly powerful attack rose, a worn and tired Goku was seen standing above Cell's destroyed body, unable to figure out if it was enough to put the android down for good.
"Yeah!"Yamcha chuckled with a smirk. "Goku did it alright! That instant transmission really did the trick!"
Yamcha and Tien notice Piccolo, Gohan, Chika, Krillin, Trunks and Minako had unsure looks on their faces.
"Come on, guys!"Tien encouraged. "This is good news! We won't have to worry about Cell anymore!"
"Man, I wish these guys can lighten up a little bit."Yamcha complemented.
Goku looked at Cell's destroyed body in silence.
"Something is not right."Goku thought. "It's not over yet. I can still sense a lot of energy coming from Cell's body."
"Get away from him, Goku!"Krillin yelled out. "Cell is going to regenerate himself!"
"Generate?"Goku thought in confusion.
Horrified looks grew on everyone's faces as they watched Cell regenerate himself.
"I should've known you would be able to regenerate yourself."Goku said with a glare.
"Of course, thanks to Piccolo's cells."Cell answered in amusement.
Piccolo gritted his teeth in anger.
"He just won't die!"Piccolo scowled.
"I may have not beaten you with that blast, Cell."Goku responded. "But I can still sense your power level has gone sharply because of it."
"Perhaps, but your the one that seems to be having trouble catching his breath."Cell replied. "I know what you did. You pushed most of your energy to that last attack, Goku. But I am still standing and yet all your powers is drained which means your fight is over."
"That's not true!"Goku growled as he powered up.
Cell smirked. "I'll show you."
Goku and Cell launched towards each other and continued their fight against each other.
As Goku and Cell fought, the rocks around them began to easily break by their attacks.
Cell headed up and sent a blast towards Goku, who quickly teleported out of the way from being hit.
Chika winced a little when Cell punched her father on the face, but Goku quickly recovered and hit Cell on the neck.
"Goku is being counting on that last attack to finish Cell off."Piccolo stated. "I don't know much longer he will be able to keep this up."
"I know your losing strength, dad."Gohan thought. "You have to keep going."
Goku and Cell continued giving each other punches and kicks, but then both of them stopped to catch thier breaths.
"Is this battle too much for you, Goku?"Cell asked smugly.
"No!"Goku shouted in anger.
Goku launched himself towards Cell, only to get punched in the gut.
Cell chuckled evilly as he held Goku by the shirt before punching him towards a small rock mountain.
Goku sent Continuous Kamehameha to stop Cell from attacking him again.
"Yeah!"Krillin remarked. "Go get em!"
"He got him."Trunks complemented. "Goku's going to win."
"Keep it up, Goku!"Minako encouraged. "Finish him up for good!"
Gohan and Chika watched quietly as their father sent his blasts towards Cell.
Cell managed to block the blasts, but couldn't let his guard down to escape, so he was stuck where he was.
"Alright, Cell is going down!"Krillin sneered.
"It's about time."Trunks responded with a smirk.
"We won, guys!"Yamcha chuckled.
Vegeta gritted his teeth since he didn't like his rival beating Cell.
"Do it."Piccolo encouraged.
"Finish him off, dad."Gohan said quietly.
"You can do it, daddy."Chika whispered.
Suddenly Cell uses his Perfect Barrier to destroy a large chunk of the land which almost kill Goku himself causing him to stop sending with his blasts.
Goku slowly caught his breath as Cell watched with a smirk on his face.
"Both of their power levels dropped tremendously, but Goku's dropping much faster!"Piccolo declared. "If he doesn't act soon, Goku is going to lose!"
"Are you feeling tired, Goku?"Cell questioned. "You've lost a lot of strength. Why don't you take a break? Perhaps one of those Senzu beans would help you."
Goku patted slowly as he continued glaring at Cell.
"Hey, this is our chance."Trunks remarked. "If Goku eats a Senzu Bean, he can take his strength back to take Cell down!"
"That's right!"Yamcha agreed. "Cell said he could!"
"We will wait."Piccolo admitted.
"Wait for what?"Trunks asked. "Goku needs a Senzu Bean."
"Piccolo is right, love."Minako replied with a firm look.
"Where is your honour, boy?"Vegeta demanded. "Like all pure blood Saiyans, Kakarot will rather die fighting than win with one of this disgraceful Senzu Beans as his crudge. Kakarot trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber just as we did. Now let's see what we can do."
"No, we can't!"Trunks argued. "Goku doesn't have the strength! Don't you see what will happen if he goes on like this?"
"If this go on then he will die."Vegeta admitted.
Shocked looks appeared on Trunks, Minako, Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, Chika, Yamcha and Tien's faces.
"But that will be his decision."Vegeta responded. "It is painfully clear in this point that no one among this group is stronger than Kakarot is. Not even myself. So he deserves the fight of a true warrior and that means to the death."
"While we all stand here and watch?!"Trunks snapped. "I won't be part of it!"
"Aren't you who has never stopped talking about how great a hero Kakarot is?"Vegeta questioned. "If you have so much faith in him, then wait and see what he will do."
Cell let out a sinister chuckle as he stared at Goku.
"I can feel your power slipping away, Goku."Cell declared. "I don't think you can last much longer. You know it's hardly worth my effort to finish you off now. But you wouldn't want to disappoint the television group since they want to see a real champion. Then this battle will be your last battle."
Goku sighed slowly as his power energy flowed around him, but then a smirk grew on his face.
"Your right about one thing, Cell."Goku declared and stopped powering up. "They do want to see a real champion."
Everyone stared at Goku with horrified looks.
"It's over, Cell."Goku admitted. "You win. I give up. I know how strong you are. There is no point in continuing this match. I can't beat you."
"You coward!"Vegeta scowled.
"No!"Krillin shouted. "Goku!"
"Don't do it!"Trunks protested.
"Goku would never give up!"Tien denied.
"His turning his back on us?!"Yamcha questioned.
"It can't be!"Minako argued.
"No."Gohan whispered. "Don't give up."
"Why, dad?"Chika asked in disbelief.
"You can't let Cell win, Goku!"Piccolo yelled out.
Next chapter is Gohan vs Cell and I'll make sure to make it longer.
