"Hey sleepyheads, wake up," I heard someone whisper.
I slowly opened my eyes. I jumped at the sudden appearance of two brothers looking over the top of me. "Jeez, you too," I muttered.
I sat up. "So, how did you do yesterday, you two got back pretty late last night," Travis asked, sitting beside me on the couch, his brother copying him.
"Well, we didn't get very much training in. Camp Jupiter had some, uh, stuff going on," I said with a yawn.
"Ooh, like what?" Connor asked.
"Well, they were being attacked. The monsters who were attacking were asking for the cursed one," I gulped.
"They were lookingfor you?" Travis asked wide-eyed.
"Yeah, we need to know if Camp has been getting attacked as well. Travis, can you do me a favor and IM Chiron?"
"Sure thing sis," Travis saluted.
"Thanks."
Will, Nico, and Sally walked up to where Connor and I were sitting. "So, Trish," Nico said, "I noticed you didn't tell Hazel and Frank that you blow up when you get stressed."
I looked at him. "They don't need to know that," I turned to Will, "Will, do you mind if Nico takes me back to Camp Jupiter?"
"That's fine, I guess, but why?"
"Because they need help. As soon as we get there, I'll heal Nico, then he can travel back here. I need you guys to make sure camp is okay."
Sally spoke up, "Don't you think you're overreacting?"
I stared at her, "Sally, people are getting hurt and even killed because of me, I needto do something!" I might have said that a bit too loud but I was frustrated.
"Nico come on! We need to hurry."
"Wait, what about your training?" Nico asked.
"I train as I fight, now hurry."
"Hey, don't talk to him like that!" Will yelled.
I turned around, I saw the look on his face and my emotions faded. "Look, I'm sorry, but I don't like it when people get hurt and this is myfault. I need to help."
"Fine. But first, breakfast," Will said.
After a short breakfast made by the doctor himself, I made Nico take me to Camp Jupiter. I hadn't even changed out of my pajamas.
As soon as we arrived, I made Nico lay down for a bit after I healed him. I then sent him back to Sally's to see if camp needed help.
"So," Frank said, "Are you here to help?"
"As long as they keep attacking, yes."
"Hey, this isn't your fault you know," Hazel said.
"Yes. Yes, it is, this is all my fault-," Before I was able to say anymore Hazel cut me off.
"All your fault, how? For living? Look there is always going to be something after you whether you like it or not, but it's not your fault. You can't help that there are some people out there who hate you and want you dead, you did nothing wrong."
"But-,"
"No buts. This isn't your fault and you know it. Now you take border patrol, Frank will go with you and I'll stay here and help with the injured."
"Sounds good," Frank said. And with that, I watched as Hazel walked out the door.
"Thanks for your help," Frank said, "We really need it."
"No problem," I smiled.
We started heading off towards the borders of Camp Jupiter. Unfortunately, we didn't know what was waiting for us there.
