Back to the void. Smoke was trying his best to defect Khronos. He has bloody wounds everywhere on his body. Even with his fast healing, he did his best to ignore the pain knowing that if he let up even for a second it be game over. He also noticed that his healing was getting more slowly the longer he fought with the titan.

'she must of slow down my abilities to heal,' Smoke thought himself. He was barely lay finger on her

"You did last longer than I expected, I'll give you that. Tell me Tomas, why do you want to protect these realms knowing their part of your mother's friend's corpse? And most of your friend nothing but insufficient piece of the one being." Khronos said while twirling her weapon not amused at all on Tomas "you know your greater than that, right?"

Smoke couldn't help but glare at her. he then scoffed; her word was started to sound like venom. Cannot believing that she would ask that.

"Because their people I care about! That why! The realms our home! People like you, Shao Khan, Shinnok, and Kronika. All of you are selfish and only care about power and preying on the weak."

"In this world, that the only thing that matter is power! If your weak, your weak, it's just that simple." Khronos boosted

"that a very mortal thing to say. I thought you beyond that?" Smoke mocked hearing the something from a power-hungry titan. Smoke comment hit a nerve from the space titan. Khronos stopped smile and glare at Smoke. Before Smoke knew it, she vanishes and reappear in front of and grab his neck. She slams him to the ground. The impact cause ground to have creak.

'she so strong!' Smoke thought, getting the wind knock from him. He tries to pry her off or least turn into Smoke, but couldn't do neither. Khrono's grip become tighter.

"you should be grateful I'm giving you a choice. You are worm compare to me. But you still better then dirt. The dirt you're trying to save wouldn't exist without the One Being. I'm giving you one more chance, Join me." Khronos hissed. Smoke could tell that she doesn't like being compare to mortal.

'Think. Think!' Smoke trying to think while try to get Khronos off of him, he tries to raise his body temp hoping to burn her. Khronos hissed and throw Smoke away. Smoke quicky got defeat her. Smoke was on his own, he couldn't sense anyone but Khronos

"Your alone, Tomas. Knowing that you were never human." Khronos mocked teasing Tomas as she was trying get into his head. Smoke just glare knowing she was to get to him. He then noticed that hourglass in the room was breaking.

"I'm glad the sand in hourglass is now doing its job. Did you know that each grain of sand repents each fail timeline in a certain point of time? What I'm doing is easing all out come till it just one. And that one will be my."

"What?"

Khronos smile "what I did was getting rid of all possibilities cannot and will come true. Right now, this is the only timeline remain. and I'm going to crush into my will."

Smoke pulls out his weapon and got into his fighting stance "I'm not going let that happen!" h said as he charges at the titan

Smoke threw his kunai's at Khronos who was not amused at this as she snaps her finger kunai went back to Smoke. Smoke use his smoke to faze through the knives before he completely became solid again, he grabbed to knife and aim toward Khrono's neck.

"you forgot that I control space." Khronos said as she uses the needles, she holding then threw them to the air and aim them towards Smoke. "especially here all things will go to directions I control it to go"

all needles went towards smoke at high speeds. smoke faze through him. The needles change direction in continue to follow him. smokes all this a use his kunai to reflect most of the needles but some still strike him in his arms and legs.

"no, you're in my control!"

Khronos is the strings that attach to the needles in smoke's body to control his legs to come towards her. Smoke tried to break free from the control. he used his free arm to try to take out the needles but they are that had the needle in it grab his free arm to prevent him from taking the needle out.

"it's useless to struggle."

Khronos eyes wide and seen that smoke eyes turn turning red and trying to make his body temperature rise higher trying to burn the needles. The hot steam quickly rushes Towards Khronos. She barely had time to dodge it. The steam touches her right arm, as She looked down to her right arm. Shocked that the steam was hot enough burn off the flesh from the bone. She didn't even feel anything from it was still coming. She uses her time stopping, to freeze the steam at place.

Khronos hissed looking back Smoke, who was grabbing his head. He looks like he was in pain from unleashing that powerful attack.

'I can't underestimate him. He is half breed after all'

Krono took time to rush toward Smoke while he tries to recover from attack. Smoke barely have time to use Kunai clash at Khronos. Both clash with weapon try to find a opening. Khronos touch Smoke causing his senses to go haywire. To him, Khronos was now upside. Smoke tries to quickly as possible. Khronos wasted no time attack him. Punching and kicking with no pause.

"you should give up while you still have the chance! Now your death won't be painless!" Krono hissed as she continues unleash a barrage of punches and kicks. Smoke to grab one fist. Then punch Khronos hard in the face. Khronos stubble back by this.

"I figure it out." Smoke said while Khronos who was holding her face and gave Smoke a deadly glare.

"If I touch you again my sense of direction goes back to normal."

"Smart for a worm. I guess I need start trying more." Khronos then touch the suppose ground, when she does massive spikes appear from the ground and all rush toward Smoke. Smoke was able to dodge the spike from ground but didn't noticed that they were spike that was coming from above.

"What!?" Smoke shocked by this barely have time block as some of the spikes pierce him, he coughs up some blood. he prays that none of the spikes hit him in a major organ. Smoke then was slammed down to the ground with a massive impact. he felt the air was taken away from him from the impact. he was then grabbed by Khronos by the throat then slam back to the ground by the face, Khronos grab smokes head in with high speed drag his face in the ground. She the slam Smoke on to his back and grab both of his arms and began to pull on them hard.

"Let see you can regenerate like your mother!" Khronos then rip out both of Smoke's arms. Smoke screams out in pain.

"Stop being a fucking baby. This is artificial to what I'm about to do to you." Khronos whisper in Smoke's ear. "I'll make you regret that you were ever born." She then kick him so hard in the face and to process to stomp him on his face repeatedly. Then Khronos brought him up to her eye level and drag him towards the black sand hourglass.

"You should of gave up when you had the chance and now…" She then shows three vision that was show in front of Smoke. One the Shao Khan enter Earthrealm and look like the Earthrealmer were beaten. The second one was Shinnok Invaded the Shaolin Temple and was about to get the Earthrealm's life to make him even more powerful And the last one was the most terrifying of them all, What Smoke was seeing what seem to be all six realms but they were slowly being swallow by darkness, like the darkness was destroying all light it touches.

"you see that? That what "I'm planning on doing to these specks of realm. A power of a titan should only be for a titan. Those Elder Gods are just imitations compare to a true titan. I Make sure that this order of all!" Khronos said then turn to the bloody Smoke

"Now watch as everything you know, everything you hold so dear break into nothingness!" Khronos mocked at Smoke. She was waiting a reaction from him and wanting to gloat on his misery but shock her that Smoke just Smile at her. Smoke right now was seeing his life flash before his eyes. To happiness from his childhood to the night that the cult kills his family and destroy his village. How the Lin Kuei. How he met Bi-Han and Kuai Lang and how they became best friend. All the mission he ever been through. the journey that he went with Kuai Lang to avenge his brother's death. The promise that he made to Jade.

'Heh, It really is true. Your life does flash before your eyes before you die.' Smoke thought as one memory stuck out to him. It was when he was young living with Juki and Fumo. He remembers crying as he was trying to stop the neighborhood kids were about to kill a mother fox and her cubs. They made fun of him for being nice about the fox and beat him up for it. He was crying alone in the open field alone. What made him feel this way was that he couldn't protect the fox and her cubs. He felt so weak.

"Tomas?'

Tomas turns around to see his father. He quickly turns back around not wanting his father see that he been crying. He felt so ashamed that he been crying, making him feel weaker.

"What wrong Tomas?" Fumo asked wondering what wrong with his son

"I was – I was trying to help a fox and her baby. The Kills in the village capture it. I told them it wrong to kill them. But they didn't listen they beat me up and tell I was a wimp. They probably killed the foxes by now. I couldn't do nothing!" Tomas cried as tear fell again "I hate feeling so weak and useless."

Tomas kept cry didn't know that his father sat next to him and started to rub his back.

"you know Tomas, you remind me when I was young. I wanted to help people the best as I can. But… I wasn't really good at it. I wasn't great at a lot of things."

"Like mom?"

"Hehe, she new at a lot of things, but, what I'm saying doesn't stop me from trying. Even though it seems helpless it better to try then never try at all." Fumo said a somber smile.

"I bet that fox very much appreciate that you try to save it and its cubs. Don't let one bad failure stop you from trying, Tomas"

Tomas looks up to his father as his word echo in his head. Funny that he now he remember that now.

Smoke though on this so many times he felt useless or not good enough. So many times, he wonders what the point and want to give up on life. Something told him to keep moving forward. Khronos decide to finish this, thinking that she could just simply remove what left of Smoke's power from his corpse. She was about to strike the finish blow to Smoke. Till a light came from above and with a slash Khrono's right hand off. Khronos was too much in a shock to see the kick come through her with great distance. Smoke up couldn't help but smile

"I glad I see a friendly face." Smoke said as he saw Jade appear who look different. Also, he senses something powerful that was awaken with in her.

"Our you're the Jade from this timeline?" He asked Jade Smile

"Yes, Tomas. Revenant Jade and I had fuse together." Jade then noticed that Smoke's arms being rip off. "Let me heal you." Jade said as she walks over to him. To Smoke surprise Jade kiss him. When she did, he felt energy coarse through his whole body. A glowing white light source his body. Soon his arm grew back.

"How you did that?"

"I explain later right now…" both turn to Khronos who was livid. Let a something much weaker than her get the better of her. Khronos didn't noticed that her body was showing signs of creaks and a black like sustain was leaking from her.

"Damn that Kasia! My body it's break down. Should know it wouldn't last long." She hissed "How about we finish this? I'll take both your power from your dead corpses."

Jade help Smoke up the pull out her staff that was glowing white. She then made her pole spit into two and gave to Smoke. "Know how to use it?" she said not letting her eyes off Khronos.

"No but I'm as fast learner." Smoke then looks back Khronos determine to defeat this titan

"Let finish this Khronos!"
