Episode Name: "Legions of Aa'une"
Episode Summary:
Aa'une sends out a powerful mindwave attack at Lake Blakkeer. The Attack is so powerful that it was able to reach Kiru City. Kaz losses contact with his friends and fears the worst has happened. Later, he gets contacted by CodeMaster Crellan. Crellan tells Kaz that the transport system was not completely shut down. It's just that players cannot come back from Perim, but players can still go there. Kaz decided to go to Kiru City and find his friends.
A group of creatures lead by Takinom, travel to Kiru City. When the gates opened, they found that every creature in Kiru City have been brainwashed by Aa'une's Attack. Takinom's group is outnumbered and at a great disadvantage, but she won't retreat and leads her group into battle.
Back at Lake Blakker, Maxxor and Chaor are still in their right mind. Aa'une claims he didn't want to mind control them because he would rather destroy them. Maxxor gets thrown off into Lake Blakkeer, which for normal creatures would mean death. But turns out that he wasn't the real Maxxor. Instead he is Iparu, an Overworld creature who can transform into any other creature. The real Maxxor then shows up and explains that he had Iparu masquerading as him so he could go search for special armor which he is now wearing.
Kaz transports inside Kiru City, and sees Takinom and her army fighting the M'arrillians. He finds his friends on a roof watching the battles. They appear unharmed, but they are now brainwashed like all the other creatures who were in the city. Kaz was smart enough to realize what happened to his friends and went to Ulmar's lab to get a Psych-Sphere before going to find them. He uses the battle gear to free his friends. However, they don't have their scanners since they dropped them when the attack hit them.
They run back to Kiru Library to find their scanners. But they get attacked by a brainwashed Intress.
Back at Lake Blakeer, Aa'une transforms into a massive beast but Iparu becomes a clone of him to fight back. Maxxor and Chaor come up with a plan to defeat Aa'une. The lake is negatively charged so they knock Aa'une into the lake with a positively charged attack, killing him. With Aa'une's death, the mind control on the creatures is broken and the M'arrillians retreat. Kaz, Tom, Sarah, and Peyton were not hurt because the mind control on Intress stopped before she could attack them.

Notes: So I wanted to finish this collection by March 13, but I've decided to not do that. There's 13 episodes left and I don't want to cram them all into one day. I could do it since writing these don't take long, but I don't think it would be fun for me or the readers. I like talking about the episodes with other people and these haikus allow me to do that. I think if I were to update so many chapters at once then people will not give their thoughts on all the chapters and will skip to the handfuls they like the most. I will try to finish this collection by the end of March, so expect an update almost every day.
There's a lot to talk about in this episode. First, Takinom is in her new armor which looks so cool. I think she wears it for the rest of the series. She was just a badass overall in this episode. Probably her best episode in the whole series.
Second thing, it's interesting that the Codemasters didn't shutdown the transport systems completely. Players could go back to Perim, they just couldn't leave. That's just odd. You would think it would be the opposite since they said it was for the players' safety. This could be proof that the Codemasters were actually just worried about brainwashed players coming back to Earth. This isn't my theory. YoungTakinom pointed that out to me. Still it's odd they didn't shutdown the part that lets players go to Perim. The writers might have just done it for plot connivance.
Honestly, I don't think they needed to involve Tom, Peyton, Kaz, and Sarah. They didn't do anything to help. Sure Kaz found the proof that Tartarak was a M'arrillian spy, but they were too late anyways so it didn't change a thing. These three episodes might have been better if they were not in them so much. If I had a say in how it was written, I would have had all four of them transport back to Chaotic and then just have the episodes focused only on the creatures. Maybe switch back to Chaotic once an episode and show how the players are reacting to everything. That way the writers would have more time showing the battles.
This goes into a big problem I have with the season. It felt too short. Almost like there were episodes missing. I liked pretty much every episode, but I think the season didn't focus enough on the war. I'm going to stop ranting now. This chapter has already gotten too long.
Question: Which season did you like more, season one or season two?
