Previously On Fairy Tail

"Do you... know where he is?" Lucy clasped her hands together making the bluenette turn pale

A lump caught in the girls throat, freezing her on the spot.

That name...

She hasn't heard it in such a long time...

"No." She turned coldly crossed her arms

"I don't."

...

"What do ya mean you don't?" Natsu pushed trudging forward with a little anger pulsating through his voice

"Hey man-" Sting defended eyes narrowing in seriousness standing protectively in front of the girl

"What... exactly happened to you two?" Lucy questioned in worry making Vyra clench her fists staring at the floor shakily

Sabertooth Guildhall

"He..." Lucy gasped

"He did that to you?"

The whole guildhall was filled with silence. Wow. The tension in the air, you could cut it with a knife.

"Vy-" Natsu's eyes softened

"F-Forget it-" She turned around coldly

She just... couldn't face them.

Back to the main topic.

"Listen man-" Natsu began speaking directly to Sting

The importance of finding Gray could be detrimental to the future if they didn't get to him in time. Not having the patience, the dragon slayer had to get the ball rolling.

"You gotta tell me where Rogue is, it's important." He firmly spoke as Sting starred

It's not like Sabertooth and Fairytail had beef anymore. Natsu being one of the seven dragon slayers as well as an admirable wizard to the blonde, he trusted him.

"Well, he just went out on a job with Milady, they shouldn't be too far out-" Sting absentmindedly replied

"You hear that?! Lucy, Wendy! We got a lead!" The fire dragon slayer spazzed leaving the two girls completely dumbfounded

They still didn't understand what Rogue had to do with anything.

"Then we can get the old team back together! All we need left is Erza-"

Vyra stiffened up hearing the dragon slayer ramble on.

"Alrighty! It's settled, let's get going!" He comically shouted grabbing Vyra's wrist ready to pull her along

"H-Hey! What the h-heck!? N-Natsu let go!" She wrestled against the boys hold before he stopped turning in question

"I'm not going with you-"

"What?!"

"I said no-" She sternly proclaimed with their eyes locking. Hazel versus cerulean. Although Natsu thinking nothing of it, continued to pull the girl along with him

"Natsu! N-No! I-I told you no!" Vyra struggled

"S-Stopppp-"

"N-Natsuu!"

Watching the duo, others around the guild began to sweat drop uncomfortably.

"Ya know..." Sting aloofly sighed putting his best foot forward

"I hate to be the tough guy here-"

"Hey, Natsu." He intervened fiercely asserting his masterly dominance making the fire dragon slayer step back

"The girl. Said. No."

Everyone watched in worry. Oh, how they did not want a fight between dragon slayers to ruin their guildhall.

Sting was shielding Vyra on the right, while Natsu was on the left with Lucy, Wendy, Happy and Carla slightly behind him.

Sting and Natsu were at a stand still while Vyra was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

"Vy..." Natsu darted his eyes over to the girl as she looked up to him

"We're going to be back..."

"and then..."

"We'll all be together again-" He clenched his teeth voice trembling

"You..."

"YOU GOT THAT?!" He shouted emotionally before running out of the guild

"Wait! Natsu! Wait for us!" Happy and Carla picked up Wendy and Lucy ready to chase after the dragon slayer

"It was nice seeing all of you!" Wendy sweetly waved to all the Sabertooth wizards

"See you!" Lucy shouted as Happy flew faster.

And just like that... 20 seconds later, they were gone.

"Well-" Rufus cleared his throat, walking up

"That was something..."

The Sabertooth guild hall turned into crickets. Everyone was astonished, leaving Vyra a mess.

Fairy Tail wizards definitely know how to make an entrance that's for sure.

"Vyra-" Sting immediately turned his attention to the distressed bluenette who was accidentally pushed onto the floor due to the fire dragon slayer.

"You good?"

"Y-Yeah... thanks..." She averted her gaze staring at the ground

Stings expression dropped. He hated seeing her like this. It's like when he and Rogue first found the moonlight mage... No, not again. Vyra deserved the brightest light imaginable, not a dark and stormy cloud to block her way.

"Hey, I know!" He came up with an idea

"How about you and I go on a job together?"

"Whatcha say?" The blonde smiled toothily offering her up a hand

"A-A job?" Vyra stuttered before accepting it

"Heck yeah! Why not?" He pulled her up

"It's been a while since I got out of the guild after becoming master, I'm getting a bit rusty, maybe we can go beat up some dummies-" The dragon slayer stretched as the bluenette gained her ground

"You sure that's something you want to-" Vyra began before the dragon slayer cut her off

"Olga! You're in charge while I'm gone, you up for that?"

"Y-Yes sir!"

"H-Hey w-wait I'm t-talking to y-you!" Vyra wailed frantically

"Then it's settled-" He walked over to the job request board

"S-Sting!"

"Yeah?"

His sudden calmness made her cheeks warm up.

...

"...How about we take t-this one..." She mumbled pulling a job off of the board

"Sounds good to me-" He eyed the job request

An A-class quest. Not too difficult (Well, for them), not too easy. Just right.

And so, off to the mountains they go.

1 Hour Later

Sting and Vyra just hit the outskirts on Fiore when the dragon slayer began to groan.

"Oh mannnnn, I'm starvinggggggg-"

"You realize we just left the guild hall..." Vyra mumbled in annoyance

"I-I know! B-But I didn't have a-anything for breakfast..." Sting slouched down like a sad puppy

Sighing in defeat, Vyra lifted up her hand as her sunlight magic began to swirl around in her palm

"Here-" She offered making the blondes eyes sparkle

Softly holding onto her arm, the dragon slayer began to devour the light magic she was emoting.

Magic from the Sunlight Goddess herself... The blonde was on cloud nine.

"Phewiee, that hit the spot-" He happily rubbed his stomach

"Thanks a lot Sunshine!"

He smiled with a toothy wink absentmindedly making the bluenette's cheeks heat up once again. Sting liked the girl. Of course he did. But no way was he going to push himself onto her.

No. That's not the type of man he was.

Although, their forms of romance were completely mutual. Being the only one the bluenette trusted completely, their relationship slowly grew into a romantic one.

They'd hold hands (like they were doing now), laugh, enjoy each other's presence.

Vyra... she's been through a lot. If she wanted to take things slow, then heck he'll do anything to please her.

"Vyra-"

"Any tighter and your going to break my bones-"

Eyes widening, she immediately let go of his hand. Her fingers were clammy, the pressure in her grip had so much wavering emotion.

"Sorry-" She flinched in embarrassment

"Hey-" Sting turned to her figure staring her dead in the eye

This could be the only time the dragon slayer could touch upon this subject.

"You heard Natsu, they'll be back-"

Vyra froze hearing the fire dragon slayer's name.

"and when that happens..."

"What..."

"Are you going to do?

"..."

Silence. The bluenette shot him down, ignoring his question completely.

"Let's just go on this job-"

She couldn't deal with this right now.

"Vyra..." The boys voice softened

Coming to a complete stop, Vyra turned gripping the edges of his cropped vest brushing her forehead against the blonde's chest.

"S-Sting... p-please..."

Her body started to tremble with her voice wavering, making Sting's heart begin to beat incredibly fast.

'No no no no no, Vyra please don't cry...'

"Okay sunshine okay..." He soothed her, racking his fingers through her long blue hair holding her tighter into his chest. Immediately their bodies began to glow.

There's just something about the boy's magic that just makes her feel warm and tingly.

"You didn't need to do that..." She looked up from his chest

"You need all your strength-"

"Eh, you deserve a little piece of me too don'tcha think sweet cheeks?" He winked with a skip between in his stride leaving Vyra a blushing mess not expecting him to say such a thing

"I know how much you love it-"

"You're such a dummy!" She immediately spazzed chasing after him

"But I'm your dummy-" Sting reached for her hand interlocking their fingers once again

"Shut up-" She lightly chuckled rolling her eyes

Unbelievable.

"Make me-" He teased turning his head over to the right making Vyra pause thinking of a comeback

Zilch. She didn't have one. Crap.

"I..."

"Don't want to..."

"Heh." Sting scoffed in confidence before wrapping his arm around her letting go of her hand

"You really are stupid huh?" She looked up with a smirk

"Only for you Sunshine-"

"Only for you."

A/N: Sting and Vyra's romance is as sweet as candy. A-DOR-A-BLE.
