Chapter 68: Tragic End
In Poison Ivy's lair a fight is going on and Nex, Claus, Vergil, and Omega are currently fighting against Poison Ivy who unleashes plants to attack the four but Nex and Vergil slice at the vines with their weapons while Claus unleashes lightningg while Omega fires missiles only for Poison Ivy to unleash a flower pod to block off the attacks and sends out more vines to try and trap the four but Nex quickly unleashes shadows to counter against the vines locking each other between shadows and plants.
"Just give up, bitch! You can't stop us!" Nex said.
"Arrogant human!" Poison Ivy yelled.
"I'm NOT a human! I'm a freakin' demon!" Nex yelled.
"C'mon, Red. I told you, the thing with the flowers wasn't my fault. You know it, I know it." Catwoman said still hanging upside down.
"You should have watered them, Selina. Now, there's one more and Strange has it. It's sealed in his vault." Poison Ivy said.
"Not our problem." Calus said.
"I think we can strike a deal. My...cohorts and I need a way into the vault and I know you're just the girl to help. Get us in there and we'll get your plant. Deal?" Catwoman asked.
"I should kill all of you." Poison Ivy said.
"Try us. You have little chance." Vergil said.
"Fine!" Poison Ivy said releasing Catwoman.
"No kiss? I'm disappointed." Catwoman said.
"OUT! NOW!" Posion Ivy shouted.
"Just know this, bitch. Cross me and I'll kill you myself." Nex said as they leave the lair.
Nex and his group go with Catwoman through Arkham City to find their way to Strange's vault while fighting off inmates in their way and later they arrive at an area with a manhole where they find many TYGER guards and so Nex uses his shadows to kill them.
"Human trash." Nex said.
"Good girl, Ivy. Alright, we go." Catwoman said as they go into the manhole.
(Arkham City-Sewer)
Nex's group are now in the sewers of Arkham City and begin moving through the tunnel and they find vines.
"Ivy's vines and the storage facility." Catwoman said.
"Don't forget your end of the deal when you get what you want." Nex said.
"I know. I know." Catwoman said as they keep going.
(Arkham City-Collasped Corridor)
Nex's group begin moving through the corridors of the sewer and they later arrive at a different area.
(Arkham City-Confiscated Goods Vault)
Nex's group are now in the vault where they find a computer room and they look into the vault's corridors.
"Okay, there's the vault. Looks like a standard 3 card security protocol." Catwoman said.
"So, we just need to collect keys to get into the vault?" Claus asked.
"Seems that way." Vergil said.
"The TYGER guards are carrying those keys." Catwoman said.
"Then I'll deal with this." Nex said as he turns into a shadow and slithers through.
"Hope he stays out of sight. One wrong move and the failsafes will trigger and the vault will be locked down permanently." Catwoman said.
"Nex knows what he's doing." Claus said.
(Information: Steal the keys from the guards!)
Nex's shadow slithers through the vault's corridors to find the TYGER guards with the keys and manages to find a TYGER guard with a key and so Nex's shadow creates a shadow hand and steals one key and then continues moving around the corridor to find another TYGER guard with a second key and so Nex steals the second key and then moves through the corridor to find the third guard and steals the third key.
"What a bunch of morons." Nex said as he returns to the security room to meet with the others. "Here." Nex said giving Catwoman the keys.
"You should be a thief. That was great stealing." Catwoman said using the keys on the computer to unlock the vault.
The TYGER guards begin moving around the corridors.
"The guards are searching for intruders." Omega said.
"We'll have to get rid of them if we're gonna get to the vault." Nex said.
"Time for a nice sneak attack." Catwoman said.
Nex and Catwoman sneak around the corridors and Nex uses his shadow to kill one TYGER guard while Catwoman knocks out another guard and they find more guards moving around and so Nex uses his shadow hand to crush another guard while Catwoman grabs a guard and knocks him out and the two continue to sneak through the corridor.
"We have confirmation that Batman is in the Steel Mill. I repeat, Batman is in the Steel Mill." A TYGER Guard said.
"Good. Make it our first target. Protocol Ten will wipe out both Batman and the Joker from this earth." Strange said.
"Target set." A TYGER Guard said.
"Then let Protocol Ten commence." Strange said.
"Commencing in 3...2...1!" The TYGER Guard said.
"What the hell is Protocol Ten? Are Ky and his dumbasses really in the middle of it? You'd better not die, Ky!" Nex said in his mind.
Nex and Catwoman continue taking down guards and later all the TYGER Guards are defeated and the group go for the vault.
"The kitten's got the cream" Catwoman said.
Nex finds a plant.
"So, that's the plant the bitch wants." Nex said as he throws the plant on the ground and steps on it. "Take that, bitch!" Nex said.
"Serves her right for tying me up." Catwoman said.
Claus then finds two briefcases.
"These what you wanted?" Claus asked.
"Perfect." Catwoman said.
"It appears we've caught our intruders. Teach them a lesson." Strange ordered as TYGER Guards arrive at the vault.
"How troublesome." Vergil said.
"Eliminate all enemies." Omega said.
"Tonight gets better and better. Batman will be dead and now I have you too, Miss Kyle." Strange said.
(Information: Defeat the TYGER Guards!)
The TYGER Guards try to attack at the group but Nex delivers five slashes with Damnation Shadow followed by casting Dark Blizzard and then unleashes four shadow fists and they deliver punches while Vergil slashes with Yamato followed by Dimensional Slash and then delivers an impaling strike while Claus slashes with his plasma sword followed by firing shots from his arm cannon while Omega attacks with his robot fists followed by unleashing flames from his flamethrower while Catwoman attacks with her claws followed by kicks and then attacks with her whip and they defeat all the TYGER Guards.
"Nice try." Nex said.
"All units. We have visual comfirmation. The Steel Mill is hit. Batman is down. I repeat, Batman is down." A TYGER Guard said.
Catwoman takes the briefcases and the group leave the vault but they find a monitor with Batman buried in rubble.
"Tough night for the Bat." Catwoman said.
Nex sees something else and finds Ky, Noel, Sora, and their friends buried in rubble as well.
"Dammit, Ky. You idiot!" Nex said.
"Oh, you know them?" Catwoman asked.
"Not important." Nex said.
"Well, I got what I came for." Catwoman said.
"Wait, if we leave them, they could..." Nex stops talking.
"What, die? C'mon. It's Batman and I've seen what those guys can do. They'll be fine." Catwoman said starting to walk off but then a shadow hand grabs her.
"Listen, bitch, we're going back to help them and if you don't help, I'LL kill you and take the riches." Nex said.
"Seriously? Ugh, fine." Catwoman said dropping the briefcases. "First, you're brooding and vulgur, but now you have a conscience?" Catwoman asked.
"Oh, shut up. You're gonna get them back anyway." Nex said.
"So, we're gonna help them?" Claus asked.
"Yes. Come on." Nex said.
The group begin moving but then a quake occurs.
"See what I gave up for you, Batman. You better not be dead." Catwoman said.
Nex's group leave the sewers.
Later Nex's group arrive at Joker's hideout and find the group still buried and so Nex, Catwoman, and Omega remove the rubble.
"Thanks... Nex?" Ky asked but Nex turns away.
"Figured you could us our help." Catwoman said.
"You're right. I think we chipped a nail back there." Batman said.
"You stick with the brooding, handsome." Catwoman said.
"Looks like we know what Protocol Ten is all about now." Tails said.
"If you're planning on stopping it, you better hurry." Catwoman said as she leaves.
"Luckly she came along." Sly said.
"Yeah and thanks to you too, Nex." Ky said but Nex grabs him by the shirt.
"Listen, idiot, I'm tired of having to clean up your damn mess time and time again! THIS is the LAST time I'm helping you!" Nex said shoving Ky to the ground.
"Like we needed YOUR help!" Elena yelled helping Ky up.
"Let's get out of here. I think we're done here." Vergil said.
Nex creates a dark portal and they leave.
"As usual, he's a jerk." Zatch said.
"Forget him. We need to find Strange and put a stop to this nonsense." Bentley said.
The group head outside to see chaos going on in the city.
"Look at this place!" Sora said.
"It's turned into Hell!" Ken said but then they see missiles.
"Missiles?!" Max asked.
"They're coming from Wonder Tower. I need you to stop this." Batman said.
"What're you gonna do?" Donald asked.
"Joker's taken Talia. I'm going after them." Batman said.
"But, Bats, we need your help too." Ky said.
"Many lives will be lost even if we do stop the attacks." Blaze said.
"Joker is going to kill Talia." Batman said.
"You need to think this through, Batman! Would you really allow many people to die?!" Noel demanded.
"Miss Noel is right, sir. Batman would never allow many people to die." Alfred said.
"I need to..." Batman was cut off.
"YOU need to help US stop this crap!" Ky said.
"Damn straight!" Ken yelled.
"Think about it, would savin' one life be more worth than a thousand?" Goofy asked.
"Don't do this to me." Batman said.
"What about us tryin' to stop the Joker back at Arkhan Asylum or what about saving Gotham? Does Gotham not matter to you anymore?" Sly asked.
"We always thought you were a hero, not a selfish jerk. If you turn your back on these people, then you're no hero." T.J. said.
"And if you're not gonna help us, then you're far gone." Sora said.
"I know it's difficult to accept this, sir, but you they're right." Alfred said.
"So what's it gonna be, Bats? You still gonna save one person or are you gonna help us save more people?" Elena said.
"When we first met at the asylum, we thought you're a brave person, but now this? This is totally out of character for you, so which Batman are you gonna be?" Murray asked.
Batman thinks about what to do.
"Wonder Tower seems to be locked down. We'll need codes in order to get in." Batman said and finds a chopper. "One of the choppers will be carrying the master control program. We'll need to get to that chopper." Batman said.
"That's the Batman we know!" Tails said.
"After this, we'll find a way to save that Talia woman. I promise." Ky said.
The group begin trying to find the helicopter they're looking for and Batman begins scanning each helicopter until Batman scans the right helicoopter and so Ky locks onto the helicopter with Batman and they get on the helicopter and Batman scans the codes.
"There. We got the codes for Wonder Tower." Batman said.
"Now, let's hurry to the tower." Ky said.
"Right and Batman, you're doing the right thing." Noel said.
"Yeah, you make better decisions than Sora does." Donald said.
"Hey!" Sora said.
"If you two are done making out, let's get to Wonder Tower!" Shadow said.
"Once we're finished in the tower, I'm going after Talia. She doesn't know Joker and she's out of her depth." Batman said.
"And I told you we're gonna help her, but THIS comes first!" Ky said.
"You can think about your girlfriend on your own time." Kiyo said.
The group make their way for Wonder Tower and they find an entrance but they find TYGER Guards and so Elena casts Sleep to make them sleep allowing the group to get to the entrance and Batman hacks using the codes and they go into the tower.
(Wonder Tower-Arkham City Processing Center)
The group are now in Wonder Tower where they find TYGER Guards tormenting prisoners and so Ky sneaks behind and delivers a sneak attack with his Keyblade while Batman sneaks behind and knocks out a guard while Noel casts Sleep and then casts Blizzard while Sora delivers a sneak attack with his Keyblade and they defeat the guards.
Just then a monitor turns on revealing Hugo Strange.
"Not so fast, Batman." Strange said.
"So that's Strange." Max said.
"THAT'S the asswipe we're dealin' with? Lame." Ken said.
"I have a question for you, Batman; before my arrival, this city was drowning under a tide of filth. Have you ever considered that all of this was your fault? Your pressence creates these animals; like germs, they spread. You created the environment that allowed the germ to mutate, to become stronger. Just look at the Joker. Would he not exist if not for you?" Strange asked.
"This guy..." T.J. said.
"I already can't stand listening to him." Elena said.
"It must be depressing. All your sacrifices and yet, you are the only one to blame. It's so beautiful. We have at last defeated Batman." Strange said.
"You haven't won yet, you bald piece of garbage!" Zatch yelled.
"All you're doing is committing massive genocide! You really think THAT'S the answer?!" Bentley asked.
"You haven't proved yourself to be better than Batman. If anything, you're far WORSE than Joker!" Ky yelled.
"I would not expect people of your limited intellect to understand my greatness. Very soon, I shall be taking my rightful place at my master's side. We will rule the world." Strange said.
"Master?" Sora asked.
"So, he's not the mastermind?" Max asked.
"But who's he workin' for?" Goofy asked but then TYGER Guards arrive and surround the group.
"Not good..." Lucas said.
"Thank you, Batman, for all your help. Kill him and his allies!" Strange ordered.
The TYGER Guards begin to attack only for Ky to cast Stop freezing the guards allowing Noel to deliver slashes with Radiant Salvation while Sora casts Thunder while Elena shoots magic concussive blasts while Ken unleashes magic music waves while Donald casts Blizzard while Goofy uses Tornado while Max uses Shield Boomerang while Tails throws ring bombs while Blaze shoots fireballs while Shadow throws Chaos Orbs while Storm uses Volt Tackle while Grace uses Tackle while Kiyo has Zatch use Zaker while Lucky uses Egg Roll while T.J. multi slashes with his knife while Sly uses Cane Spin while Bentley shoots electric darts while Murray uses Turbo Charge while Lucas uses PK Flash while Batman delivers punches and kicks and throws Batarangs and they defeat the TYGER Guards.
"Your guards are crap, Baldy!" Ken said.
"A futile effort. You cannot stop the inevitable. I will rain down fire and brimstone on these animals." Strange said.
"This just further proves your heart is black! You talk about order and making the world better, but this is chaos!" Ky said.
"You won't have your way anymore, Strange! We'll make sure of that!" T.J. said.
"Guys, you don't think he's helping the Brotherhood, do you?" Donald asked.
"Let's see, Laz is obviously here, he's trying to bring chaos to the world, Strange mentioned having a master..." Sora said.
"It's possible there's a connection between the two." Batman said.
"So Strange is working with Laz the whole time?" Murray asked.
"I don't normally jump to conclusions, but it's possible." Batman said.
"Guess the only way to find out is to find Strange himself." Lucas said.
The group search for a way through and Storm finds a manhole and so the group use the manhole to get to the next area.
(Wonder Tower-Collasped Streets)
The group arrive at a ruined street underground and begin moving through with Ky, Noel, and Sora using Flowmotion to get across and reach the other side of the ruined streets and they later arrive somewhere else.
(Wonder Tower-Wonder Tower Foundations)
The group arrive at a differen section of Wonder Tower but they find guards with rifles.
"This will be fun." Shadow said.
"We'll have to pick 'em off one by one." Elena said.
"Fine by me. " Kiyo said.
The group sneak around to take down the TYGER Guards and Ky sneaks behind and delivers an attack with his Keyblade while Batman uses a gargoyle to dive down and delivers a takedown attack while Noel casts Thunder to strike down a guard while Sora throws his Keyblade from behind to attack another guard and as the group continue to sneak around Elena shoots a magic bolt to strike while Ken bashes with his guitar knocking out another guard while both Max and Goofy bash with their shields to knock out another guard and they keep sneaking around and Sly delivers a sneak attack and slams a guard to the ground while Murray picks up a guard and slams him to the ground while Bentley shoots a sleep dart knocking out another guard and they find more guards and so Tails unleashes his Magic Hand to deliver a sneak punch while Shadow delivers a swipe attack while Grace bites at a guard while Lucas uses PK Freeze and later all the guards are knocked out.
"This is unacceptable. I taught you better than this. This is not the end." Strange said.
"It will be when we find you." Zatch said.
Batman finds an elevator control and hacks it making it open and the group go to the elevator and use it to take them upward.
"What do you hope to accomplis? I have won. Once all of Arkham scum burns, I shall turn my attention to your allies, Wayne. I will come to Wayne Manor, drag your butler through the streets of Gotham and make him explain how you've failed. My Arkham City experiemnt is a success and you shall kneel before me, begging for your life." Strange said.
"Does this asshole EVER shut up?" Ken asked.
"Just ignore him." Tails said as the elevator takes them somewhere else.
(Wonder Tower-Observation Deck)
The elevator takes the group to an observation deck and they find more TYGER Guards but the group manage to defeat them and find another device for Batman to hack making a gate open and they start moving through the tower's roof.
"Look how high we are." T.J. said.
"Better not fall." Blaze said.
"This is nothin'." Sora said.
The group continue across the tower's roof but they see missiles destroying every building.
"That missile just launched the museum." Sly said.
"We're running out of time. Strange is destroying everything." Max said.
"We're nearly at the top. He will be stopped." Batman said.
"How can someone like him get away with killing people?" Noel asked.
"It's that master he mentioned. I wanna say it's Laz, but we're still unsure." Kiyo said.
"We'll find out." Batman said.
The group keep reaching the top of the tower and they find lines to walk on and they later find a way inside the top of the tower where they find more guards and so they sneak around to knock them out while finding Strange and after defeating all the guards they find Hugo Strange behind a dome.
"Gotcha, you evil bald creep!" T.J. yelled.
"Understand this; you cannot defeat me. I am untouchable." Strange said.
"Is that right?" Sora asked as Batman hacks into the lock unlocking the dome.
"You have not won. You cannot won. I, Hugo Strange, am your successor. I have saved Gotham." Strange said.
"SAVED?!" Ky demanded punching Strange in the face.
Noel then casts Thunder on Strange allowing Sora to deliver a punch at Strange's side while Batman headbutts him and then delivers a kick knocking down Strange.
"Tails, Bentley, time to shut this place down." Batman said.
"With pleasure." Tails said.
"Oracle!" Bentley said.
"On it." Oracle said.
"You fools have ruined everything!" Strange said.
"Shut up!" Elena yelled bashing Strange's head with her staff.
Batman grabs Strange and pins him against the window.
"Look at what you've done, Strange!" Batman said showing the destruction and chaos.
"Glorious, isn't it?" Strange asked but Batman puts him down.
"Great news, Protocol Ten is done and shut down." Tails said.
"Ha, you've lost!" Donald taunted.
"Oh, I have powerful friends. This is just the beginning. You cannot stop me. I will command forces beyond your comprehension. I have achieved what the great Batman could never do. Gotham will forever thank Hugo..." Strange was cut off as something strikes him from behind which is a sword and an iron ball.
"What?" Shadow asked as two figures reveal themselves to be Laz and Ra's al Ghul.
"Your part is over, Professor Strange." Ra's al Ghul said.
"Just like any other pawn, you're nothing but trash." Laz said.
"Why? I did what you wanted..." Strange said.
"Indeed. You clearly demonstrated that Batman is better than you." Ra's al Ghul said.
Ky, Noel, Sora, Donald, and Elena rush over to try and help Strange.
"Let the trash die." Laz said.
"So Strange WAS working for you, Laz?" Sly asked.
"And he was your puppet as well, Ra's? Why?" Batman asked.
"You said I could replace you... This was our vision." Strange said.
"And you failed to see it through." Ra's al Ghul said.
"That's to be expected of humans, failures." Laz said.
"When you came to me with Batman's identity, I gave you this chance to prove your worth, providing you with limitless resources for your plan. You came close, but you have failed." Ra's al Ghul said.
"And all I needed from you was to use Protocol Ten as a means of creating the chaos I need for my own purposes. My master's purposes. You were nothing but a puppet for a puppet. That's the perfect fate for you. Now I have all the chaos I needed, your services are no longer required." Laz said.
"You two are pieces of crap!" Ken yelled.
"He's going to die!" Batman yelled.
"He may be a jerk, but we're gonna help him." Ky said.
"Oh, do what your stupid good hearts tell you to do." Laz said.
"He is already dead to me." Ra's al Ghul said.
"I'm so close... Just give me more time..." Strange said.
"Too late. I do not do second chances." Ra's al Ghul said.
"This is such a great day for us." Laz said.
"Great day?!" Bentley asked.
"People are dying!" Batman yelled.
"That's the point. Their sacrifices will honor Lord Malus once he gets what he wants and sooner or later, you too, will take part in that sacrifice once we've reached our goal. It's a good day for the Brotherhood." Laz said.
"You may have defeated, Strange, Detective, but this, this just the beginning. I will now wipe this world clean." Ra's al Ghul said.
"Not on our watch!" Murray yelled.
"You've become what you've always fought against, Ra's. We're stopping you!" Batman said.
"You...? I doubt it." Ra's al Ghul said.
"Computer, activate...Protocol 11..." Strange said.
"Uh, what?!" T.J. asked.
"ANOTHER Protocol?!" Lucas asked.
"What are you doing?" Ra's al Ghul asked.
"Passcode...Wayne..." Strange said.
The screen starts counting down.
"We gotta get outta here!" Goofy said.
"Later." Laz said disappearing in his dark corridor.
Batman rushes at Ra's al Ghul and the group follow as an explosion occurs in the tower and the group fall and Batman catches Ra's al Ghul who tries to impale his sword at Batman who gets away as Ra's al Ghul stabs himself and lands on a gate while the group land on the ground.
"Well, that was a twist..." Zatch said.
"I can't believe Ra's al Ghul was pulling the strings behind Strange." Tails said.
"And it's no surprise that Laz was also responsible." Bentley said.
"But what's gonna happen to Ra's?" Sora asked.
"Let's just say he'll be needing a trip to the Lazarus Pit." Batman said.
"Hello?! Is anyone there?" A voice asked.
"Ugh, what now?" Elena asked and they see a monitor turning on revealing Joker.
"Hello, Batman. Hello, Ky, Noel, Sora, and friends! I know you can hear me. Have I caught you at a bad time? I was worried you might've forgotten little ol' me. Take a good look at your girlfriend, Bats. She seems to be in danger of having her pretty brains splattered all over the camera." Joker said revealing Talia and pointing a gun at her head.
"Ignore him, beloved! Let him die!" Talia said.
"Well, this is gettin' better." Kiyo said.
"How romantic. The only problem is, I've never felt better and we all know you can't ignore me now can you? Listen up, Bats. I'm gonna pull a little show for you. It's gonna be a doozy. It's a real red carpet affair. Of course, Ky, Noel, Sora, and the rest are also invited to join in. We ARE great friends, after all! You better hurry, though. If you take too long, the leading lady may be found dead in her dressing room." Joker said as the screen turns off.
"Now we don't have a choice." Ky said.
"C'mon, let's find Joker and fast." Lucas said.
The group hurry their way to find Joker and Talia but they find many snipers all over a theatre and so the group work to get rid of the snipers and they find Joker taking Talia into the theatre and so the group go after them and enter the theatre.
(Arkham City-Theatre)
The group enter the theatre and they find Joker with a gun and Talia who is tied up.
"Hurry and take your seats. The show's about to begin." Joker said.
"Let's just talk about this." Batman said making Joker laugh.
"Oh, now you want to talk? Well, too late, Batman. Now give me the cure." Joker said.
"Huh?" Lucas asked.
"But I thought you already have it." Shadow said.
Just then Talia attacks Joker takes the sword and stabs Joker.
"Wow." Sly said.
"Problem solved." Talia said.
"You didn't need to..." Batman was cut off.
"Why? You would never do it. You left me no choice." Talia said.
"There's always a choice." Batman said.
Talia takes out the cure.
"You had it?" Elena asked.
"I had to save him. Harley Quinn took it from Freeze. I took it back." Talia said.
Batman kneels to the fallen Joker.
"Is it over...?" Goofy asked.
"I have feeling it's not..." Noel said.
Batman starts thinking back with the cure, Joker's surprise attack, the reflection in the mirror and then realizes.
"Talia...!" Batman yelled but then a shot hits Talia's back.
"What?" Ky asked.
"I'm sorry, beloved... I didn't know..." Talia said.
"Encore! More! Bravo!" A voice said and they see Joker at the high part of the theatre.
"It was never you!" Batman said.
"Not always. Well, sometimes." Joker said.
"You mind telling us what the hell's all about?" Ken asked.
"I know, it's confusing. Let's just say, at times like these...it's important to keep up appearances." Joker said.
"So, you planned your own crap just to screw with everyone. Classice Joker move." Ky said.
"Thanks, Goldhead! Now, if you would be so kind as to hand over my cure." Joker said.
Just then 'Joker' starts moving but starts transforming into what looks like clay.
"Ladies and gentlemen. For one night only, standing in for yours truly and doing a dman fine job of it, I give you...CLAYFACE!" Joker said as 'Joker' fully transforms into Clayface.
"Okay, new enemy." Murray said.
"You're not even supposed to be here, Karlo. Why sign up with Joker?" Batman asked.
"Easy, the role of a lifetime!" Clayface said attacking the group.
"One last chance?" Sora asked.
"Don't count on it." Batman said.
"Oh lighten up! The final act's just starting and it's a doozy!" Joker said.

Clayface stretches his limbs to attack the group who dodge and Ky casts Triple Blizzard while Noel casts Ice Barrage while Sora uses Blizzard Raid but Clayface transforms his limbs into blades to try and slice at the group but Elena casts Deep Freeze while Ken unleashes magic music fists coated with Blizzard magic and sends them to punch with icy damage while Donald casts Diamond Dust but Clayface transforms into a ball and rolls at the group who dodge making him hit an explosive causing damage and Lucas uses PK Freeze while Bentley shoots ice darts while Batman uses Freeze Blast but Clayface stretches his limbs to attack the group again but the group dodge and Ky, Noel, and Sora cast Blizzard to freeze Clayface completely allowing Batman to grab the sword.
With Clayface frozen Ky delivers five slashes with Dawn of Hope followed by two diagonal slashes and then uses Fire Somersault while Noel delivers two horizontal slashes with Radiant Salvation followed by a vertical slash and then casts Balloon while Sora delivers three 360 slashes with Kingdom Key followed by cross slashes and then speed slashes and unleashes a powerful light attack while Elena shoots magic concussive blasts followed by casting Earth while Ken casts Explosion followed by casting Thunderstruck while Donald casts Duck Flare followed by casting Aero while Goofy uses Goofy Tornado while Max uses Shield Surf while Tails shoots lasers from his blaster while Blaze uses Fire Drill while Shadow slashes with Chaos Daggers while Storm uses Iron Tail while Grace uses Take Down while Kiyo has Zatch use Zakeruga while Lucky uses Ground Pound while T.J. somersault slashes with his knife while Sly uses Cane Jump while Bentley sends droids to attack while Murray uses Tornado Punch while Lucas uses PK Thunder while Batman delivers slashes with the sword.
After enough attacks Clayface recovers and spins while unleashing clay shots but the group dodge but Clayface turns into a ball and rolls at the group who dodge making Clayface hit another explosive causing more damage but Clayface stretches his limbs to attack but Ky casts Ice Barrage while Noel uses Blizzard Edge while Sora casts Diamond Dust but Clayface turns his limbs into blades and tries to slash at the group who dodge and Elena shoots magic bolts coated with Blizzard magic to cause ice damage while Ken casts Blizzard while Donald casts Triple Blizzard but Clayface turns into a ball and rolls at the group who dodge and Bentley throws ice bombs while Lucas uses PK Freeze while Batman throws more freeze blasts and after enough ice attacks Clayface is frozen again.
Ky delivers five slashes with Dawn of Hope followed by unleashing light blades and then casts Holy Fire while Noel uses Shadowbreaker followed by casting Dark Orb while Sora delivers three diagonal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Aero and then casts Triple Plasma while Elena casts Fire while Ken casts Mega Flare while Donald casts Comet while Goofy uses Goofy Charge while Max uses Cyclone while Tails unleashes Magic Hand and it delivers a punch while Blaze slashes with flame blades while Shadow multi punches with Chaos infused energy while Storm calls down lightning to strike while Grace uses Bite while Kiyo has Zatch use Bao Zakeruga while Lucky uses Headbutt while T.J. multi slashes with his knife while Sly uses Stealth Cane while Bentley uses his RC Chopper to fire missiles while Murray uses Flame Punch while Lucas uses PK Fire while Batman attacks with the sword and their attacks are taking Clayface apart and after enough attacks Clayface is in pieces.
"You'll have to do better than that, Joker." Sly said.
"You're making me late for my spa treatment! C'mon, Bats, it's not like you've got a girl to save anymore. Oh, sorry, too soon? Here, a change of scenery should help ease the pain." Joker said taking out a switch and presses the button causing the floor to explode making the group fall.
The group are now under the theatre in a different room with Lazarus Pit and Clayface falls with them and Clayface recovers.
"Round two." Tails said.
"Let's do it." Sora said.
Tiny clays begin attacking the group but Ky, Noel, Sora, and Batman attack the mini clays but then Clayface starts firing giant clay balls but Ky casts Blizzard while Noel casts Deep Freeze while Sora casts Triple Blizzard and they keep attacking the mini clays but Clayface fires more clay balls but Batman fires freeze blasts and freezes Clayface allowing Ky, Noel, and Sora to attack with their Keyblades while Elena, Ken, and Donald attack with their magic while Goofy and Max attack with their shields while Tails shoots shots from his blaster while Blaze shoots fireballs while Shadow throws Chaos Arrows while Storm uses Skullbash while Grace uses Tackle while Kiyo has Zatch use Zakeruga while Lucky uses Egg Throw while T.J. throws many knives while Sly uses Dive Attack while Bentley throws explosive darts while Murray gets into his ball form and attacks while Lucas uses PK Love while Batman attacks with the sword and after enough attacks Batman gets into Clayface and takes the cure while slicing Clayface and the group finish off Clayface.
"Well, looks like you finally got it." Elena said.
Batman begins drinking the cure.
"You feel better?" Max asked.
"Never better." Batman said.
"Out of my way, Bats! I have a date with immortality!" Joker said.
"Here's your real date!" Donald yelled casting Fire at Joker while Batman throws the sword.
Joker dodges but the sword hits the switch making the device go breserk causing Clayface to fall into the pit and an explosion occurs but the group recover and find Joker.
"Quick, the cure!" Joker said.
"Should we even give it to him?" Shadow asked.
"C'mon, so I killed your girlfriend, poisoned Gotham, and hell...it's not even breakfast. Who cares? We all know you'll save me." Joker said.
"Every decision you've ever made ends with death and misery. People die, I stop you. You'll just break out and do it again." Batman said.
"Think of it as a running gag!" Joker said striking Batman from behind making him drop the cure. "NOOO!" Joker cried trying to get the cure.
"That's YOUR fault." Ky said.
"Are you happy now?" Joker asked.
"You want to know something funny? Despite everything you've done, I would have saved you." Batman said and Joker starts laughing.
"Now THAT'S funny...!" Joker said laughing but then later he stops laughing and the group look down at him now dead.
Batman leaves the theatre carrying the now dead Joker as the Joker thugs see their dead boss and Harley Quinn is among the thugs and starts crying as the group also leave the theatre.
Just then police cars begin surrounding the entrance to Arkham City and Commissioner Gordon arrives.
"All units, coordinate your... What the...?" Gordon asked as Batman leaves Arkham City. "What the hell happened?" Gordon asked but Batman sets Joker's body on a police car. "Batman, what the hell happened?" Gordon asked but Batman leaves.
Meanwhile the group move through Arkham City.
"Ya know, he might've been an enemy, but Joker didn't deserve it..." Ky said.
"There was nothing we could have done..." Noel said.
"This has been a crazy ride throughout this city." T.J. said.
"You think Batman will be okay?" Lucas asked.
"I'm sure he'll pull through. He IS Batman, after all." Sora said.
"You're right. He's strong." Blaze said.
"And we have our own mission to deal with." Kiyo said.
"Right. Until then, Bats." Ky said as the group prepare to leave Arkham City.

Meanwhile in Rosalina's Observatory in the flower fields Griff continues training himself with his arrows and Lightning Magic and uses his Blue Lightning Magic, Red Lightning Magic, Yellow Lightning Magic, Green Lightning Magic, Purple Lightning Magic, and Orange Lightning Magic and then begins creating his white lightning and creates his white dragon into the starry sky and ends up breathing heavily.
"Not...yet... I gotta keep going..." Griff said.
"You've been doing this all day. You need to take a break." Ami said.
"Okay... I don't wanna overdo myself." Griff said.
"Let's head back to the observatory." Ami said.
Griff and Ami return to the observatory and they sit at the garden section and then Griff has a question in mind.
"Hey, Ami, after all this over, you still wanna go out and find more of those Magicus? I still think there're are other children that escaped safely. If we were able to escape with no problem, then maybe..." Griff said.
"I suppose there's a good chance. As soon we've settled against Malus and his Brotherhood, then I guess we'll have our journey." Ami said.
"I just think it's possible. I mean, there could more like us hiding and probably waiting to be found. Once we do find more Magicus like us, we'll form a new clan and it'll even better than that old one. You and me, Ami. We're both Magicus, so we stick together, no matter how far we are." Griff said making Ami giggle.
"Okay, Griff. It's a deal. Still, just try not to get your hopes up, okay? I want to believe there are more like us still around, but just try to keep your excitement at a reasonable level." Ami said.
"I can't help myself." Griff said sheepishly. "Guess my training's almost over. I've been perfecting my magic and my archery skills. It won't be long before this whole battle'll start. Ky, Noel, Nex, Pax, Sora, Riku, everyone are gonna depend on me. What's more is that I heard Kairi's gonna take part in this and I heard she's training herself to hone her Keyblade skills. When we meet each other at the field, I'm gonna do my part and defend my friends. I won't let anyone hurt 'em!" Griff said.
"Just try not to get TOO reckless. I may not be a Virtue, but just know that I'll be rooting for you guys every step of the way." Ami said.
"Thanks, Ami." Griff said.
Just then a Yellow Luma comes to them.
"Mama wants to see you guys." The Yellow Luma said.
Griff and Ami arrive at Rosalina's chamber.
"You wanted to see us?" Griff asked.
"I fear that the upcoming battle is coming soon. It won't be long before your time here is done, Griff. Starting the next day, it will be your last day of training." Rosalina said.
"I'm not worried. I've been honing my skills with my magic. I can handle one more training day and I'll show what I'm capable of." Griff said.
"Very well. It's just something for me to inform you about. You've been doing a good job with your training, Griff and I know you'll do your part as a Virtue." Rosalina said.
"Yeah! I'm not scared of those Brotherhood jerks or those Organization jerks! My heart is ready!" Griff said.
"We'll have a rest and then we'll spend one more day." Ami said as they leave the chamber.
"Dark times are coming ahead. I can feel the stars' plight. Even if the Virtues and Guardians are prepared, there's no doubt in my mind that Malus and Xehanort have something up their sleeves to reach their goal. I fear for their future... I fear for the worlds' future... Perhaps darkness might prevail and the light may expire..." Rosalina said.
