Chapter 73: Authority
"I think I prefer Senpai from now on."
He felt the shiver run up her spine as his words fell upon her. It was one of excitement and a smile curled at the corner of his lips. Reaching around, taking firm hold of her breasts, he pulled her to him, causing her to slide down his shaft.
"Mm-ahh!" Her sweet voice called out to him.
He felt the hotness flush over his cheeks and knew if she could see him now with their bodies so close, sharing their warmth, she would have seen how her moan satisfied him. Shisui held her close like this for a moment. He wanted to stay this way. Holding her, loving her, give himself to her in every way. Emotionally, physically, he didn't want to stop there. He had looked forward to this for so long and by the way her body reacted to his movement as he began a slow rhythm, she had wanted this even longer still.
"Shisui-Senpai..."
His heart thumped loudly against his chest. Her soft skin caresses his own. He moved his hands so that he was holding her almost protectively, possessively and continued to make love to her.
"...I want...to see you..." she said between shallow breaths.
He kissed her neck, feeling an electrical current through their bodies. "As you wish." With delicate care, Shisui maneuvered them, laying her on her back with him over her. She peered up at him with those beautiful, loving eyes. A soft smile rest upon her lips as she took in his image.
...
The handsome man who hovers over me with delicacy and care stared into my eyes with his deep, endless ones. I lost myself in them as I lifted a hand to touch his cheek, subconsciously checking to see that he were real. My dear guardian. My lover. My husband. I will do everything in my power to make sure he felt as though he was the only one as long as we were together like this.
We spent the entire day and night this way. The only time we weren't attached in some form was to catch our breath and eat dinner. When I woke the next morning I felt Shisui's strong arms wrapped around me, his bare skin warmed mine. I snuggled in further with a happy sigh.
"Is my goddess awake?" His morning voice sounded sexy.
"Mm-hmm."
His arms tightened around my body. I could feel his sweet smile against the back of my neck before he tenderly kissed it, causing a small moan to escape my lips. "I love drawing sounds from you," he muttered.
"...I can't help it." Its true, any time he touches, kisses, or makes love to me, the feeling is euphoric.
He continued to lay soft kisses on my skin, my heart began to quicken in pace. "S-Shisui..." his name a whisper as it left my lips. When he paused to deliberate whether or not to make a correction, I turned in his arms to look at him. Words couldn't describe the warmth within his night sky eyes. I lost myself again.
"What is it love?" His deep voice sent a shiver throughout my body.
A small sigh left me and my arms wrapped around his neck. "I need to get ready."
He blinked a few times before realizing what I meant. "You're leaving?"
I smiled, "I've evaded my duties yesterday and must make up for it today. Several shinobi will be expecting new missions and will be meeting with me." My eyebrow lifted at him and he looked to me knowingly.
Playful disappointment soon crossed over Shisui's handsome features before he released his embrace and looked over to the nightstand to see the time. A smirk quickly spread. "It's 5am," his eyes met mine, "we have time for one round."
My face felt hot. "Sure, except our excursions never end in one round."
He grinned. "Let's do our best, then."
...
Later on at the Hokage's office I was met with two of my closest friends.
"You must tell us what happened!" Ino insisted.
"Enough, I'm expecting teams to come in and I can't be having conversations of my love life before then." I smiled due to the sad expressions in response.
Tenten appeared to slump, "but we want to hear how things went, you've waited so long to have sexy time with your husband."
Just then a knock came to the door as if to save me from interrogation. "Come in!" I called, a wide smile spread. The first team I'd encounter brought some excitement.
The door flew open. "Lady stand-in!"
"Hey!" As the team entered, Shisui took hold of the top of the young shinobi's head. "Address your superiors appropriately." His voice stern but traces of amusement flickered in his eyes.
"Y-yes, sir!"
It was plain to see that Shisui had a soft spot for the cute brown haired boy. I chuckled as Shisui ruffled the kid's hair before releasing him and stepped forth. "Lady Shikara." He greeted with a flashing smile.
I felt my face become hot and my dear friends giggled. "Good morning, Shisui-sensei, Team 0." I folded my hands upon the desk in preparation. "Good job in your previous mission to help rebuild the village. I've received reports from our fellow villagers and their praise for your hard work."
Just then the young shinobi cast dark looks towards their sensei. The blond girl commented, "no thanks to Shisui-sensei, of course."
His eyes widened in shock before quickly recovering. "I knew you all could handle it!"
Ino and Tenten giggled again, looking to me mischievously. I cleared my throat. "Anyways, I think it's time to spice things up for for you, so to speak." The misuse of words caused Ino to snort and I shot her a quick glare. "Ehem," I cleared my throat, "I'd like to send your team on a mission outside the village, there's a monk who wishes to be protected in his travels to the Mist Village. The details are in the paperwork which I will give to Shisui."
The team's excitement glistened in their eyes. All except one. Shisui crossed his arms and his eyelids dropped ever so slightly. "That's a week's travel." His voice flat.
A slight smirk appeared across my lips. "Yes, it is."
He blinked with disproval. "My team and I will gladly take on any mission you need handled, so long as it's nearby."
I knew this would be difficult, Shisui doesn't want to be away in case Madara shows up. Ino and Tenten eyed one-another before casting their stares in my direction. I sighed and flipped through some more missions.
As I thumbed through, Ame, the young blond kunoichi spoke up. "That's not fair, Shisui-sensei! We should be able to handle missions outside the village from time to time!"
"I agree with Ame, it's our duty as shinobi to cover all types of missions. We haven't been outside the village in weeks!" Shiroi, the haughty white-haired boy complained. He often challenges Shisui, only to be humbled soon after.
I smirked seeing Shisui unfold his arms and face his students. "Protecting our village and it's people comes first." His voice being stern caused his flustered students to go silent. They weren't used to him being so hard.
"B-but...sensei...?"
Shisui sighed, "Yes, Okami?"
Okami is a very loyal, sweet boy. He's also incredibly adorable and admires Shisui more than anyone. It's really cute. His boyish voice practically squeaked to have to disagree with his sensei. "I-I think we should go, Shisui-sensei, Lady Shikara trusts us to complete a mission and we should accept."
Shisui turned to me. "Another mission nearby will do."
He's really sticking to his guns today. I sighed again and the students did too. My eyes stopped on a mission located here inside the village. These kids are going to hate us...I held the paper out to Shisui, who approached and eyed it. The corner of his mouth twitched. "This will do."
Liar. He would rather go out than have to do another one of these.
"What is it, Sensei?" Ame asked curiously, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
He turned to his team. "We will be tracking this cat, capture him," he held up the paper, "and return him here to his owner."
"WHAT THE HELL!?" Shiroi yelled.
Ame slumped. "Seriously, how many times does every ninja in this village have to catch that cat?"
Even Okami rolled his eyes. "Can't that lady just let the poor guy go? It's a one-sided love, anyways."
Tenten grinned while Ino tried to stifle a giggle. She failed.
"Hey." I said curtly, turning my attention to my dear friends.
"What is it?" Ino asked.
"Time to go."
"Aw, dismissing us again? We're here to help you." Tenten said, clearly displeased.
I smirked. "You're doing the exact opposite."
The two sighed and slowly made their way to the door. My eyes turned back to the team before me. "As for you all, your sensei wishes to stay near the village due to a very severe threat coming to this village soon."
Shisui gave a slight nod when his students turned to him with curiosity. Ame piped up, "what threat!?"
Shisui appeared to become more serious than before. "It's our duty to protect the village and it's people first and foremost." He repeated these words as of to really drive his point home.
I folded my hands in thought. I knew he wouldn't budge from before and honestly I was glad. The mission I was to assign his team was a request from the Hokage because his team could definitely handle it and we were short on teams. His stubbornness never ceases to amaze me.
"Alright, new assignment." The four shinobi focused on me as I laid all missions down on the desk. I peered at each one and smiled. "You're all on patrol. You will assist your sensei here, scouting around the village's circumference to ensure it's safety. That's the best I can do for you."
Shisui smirked. "That's not a real mission."
"We'll take it!" Shiroi exclaimed.
"Yeah! Protecting the village and it's people comes first!"
Ame giggled excitedly. "This is great, thanks Lady Shikara!"
Shisui seemed to droop, being ignored by his excited students. I grinned. "Okay, your mission starts now." I held a clearance letter out towards Shisui. "Give this to our gate guards and they will point you in the right direction."
He came closer and leaned over the desk, eyebrow raised. "Shouldn't we be doing something more productive?"
"Are you questioning my authority, Shisui-sensei?" My tone was flat when I asked this and his eyebrow twitched. It's rare to get a rise out of him, however I was successful in doing so. I would probably pay for it later.
"Not at all." His eyes narrowed before he took the clearance letter and turned to face his team. "Let's go."
"Nice! A real important mission, finally!" Okami said, completely stoked.
As they left the room I had to chuckle to myself. "You asked for it," I whispered.
