Welcome back to Channel 6 News. If you're just tuning in, we are continuing our ongoing coverage of the floating city of Beijing. It's been several months since the Triceratons lifted the entire Chinese capital into the Stratosphere. The atmospheric shield that surrounds the city has proven to be impenetrable. The city is kept aloft by a Triceraton Anti-Gravity Generator, and in spite of the best efforts of Beijing's top scientists, their attempts to take control of the device have been met with disastrous results. With no way in, no way out, and no way down, this reporter has to wonder what hope is there for the people of Beijing

At a remote Foot outpost outside the city, several Kraang were hard at work, constructing a massive durigible with the Foot symbol gracing the front of it. As they worked, Kraang Subprime walked out, surveying the construction.

"You have got to be freakin Kraanging me!" he let out. "To think, we stood on the precipice of galactic conquest. Now we're building a blimp for a bunch of scrawny humans!"

"Kraang is to remind Kraang Subprime that the one known as the Shredder is Kraang's hope that is known as last hope in returning to Kraang Prime," one of the Kraang droids spoke up.

"Yeah, yeah. Even so, you'd think the humie would have more important work for beings with such superior intellect than a stupid blimp! What use could he have for something this stupid?!"

"My reasons, Kraang Subprime are just that," Shredder spoke up, entering the room with Slash, Stockman, and Nakumo. "Mine. Your purpose is merely to serve at my behest."

"Of course, Shredder," Kraang Subprime drolled, voice dripping with sarcasm as he bowed.

"I trust you've constructed the airship to the specifications I relayed."

"The airship that is being constructed for the one called Shredder has been constructed to the specifications that were specified by the one called Shredder," a Kraang droid relayed. "The device known as the Triceraton forcefield override device has been installed on the airship. This will allow the airship of the one called Shredder to breach the shield that is shielding the city that is known as the city of Beijing and retrieve the cargo that needs retrieving for the one called Shredder."

"And what cargo, praytell, would that be?" Stockman asked, hovering up to the Kraang droid.

"A Triceraton Anti-Gravity generator," Shredder answered.

If Stockman were capable of jumping in surprise, he would.

"But… but Master, removing an Anti-Gravity generator from a city floating twenty miles above the surface would be a virtual suicide mission."

"The risk means little to me. That Anti-Gravity generator is vital to the Technodrome's repairs. This operation is so important, I intend to oversee it personally."

"Master," Nakumo spoke up. "That won't be necessary. Surely, I can-"

"No!" Shredder snapped, causing Nakumo to freeze up. "You have already failed in keeping my daughter secure. I will not allow you to fail me again."

Nakumo's hand grazed his face, feeling the newly gifted scars Shredder had given him after Karai's escape with the turtles.

"Well, I for one, applaud the idea," Stockman spoke. "Master Shredder's willingness to take charge of the mission should be a testament to us all."

"I'm glad you think so, Stockman," Shredder replied. "Since I require your scientific expertise for this mission."

"Me? But surely the Kraang would be more-"

"Kraang is needed here to continue the repairs on the Technodome," Shredder shot down. "Besides, consider this an opportunity to prove your worth to me. Otherwise, I see no reason to keep your putrid brain around any longer.*"

"Of… course. Master."

"Guess you're not as valuable as you'd hope," Slash remarked.

"I will require your aid as well, Hun," Shredder informed, much to Slash's surprise. "In the unlikely, but all too frequent event, that the turtles should show up and try to thwart my plans."

"Yes… Master," Slash replied.

Stockman couldn't help but chuckle in response.

"Seems you're no better than I am," he quipped.

Slash just growled in response.

Meanwhile in the turtles' lair, the turtles were in the midst of an intense training session. Karai was kneeling next to Splinter, watching for the moment. He'd kept her out of training for the moment, wanting her to continue resting and recovering from her months of imprisonment. Donnie clashed with Raph, his Bo Staff blocking every strike Raph's sai's dealt out. Meanwhile, Leo ran across the practice area before flipping to turn around, dodging several shuriken that Mikey was dealing out. Finally, he drew his sword to deflect the last one before leaping forward to swipe at him. Mikey leapt over the blade before landing on the ground, pulling his limbs and head into his shell before rolling on the ground to dodge Leo's attacks.

"Nice trick," Karai mused, "using his shell as a shield, and a quick escape."

"Michelangelo is a master of… unorthodox techniques," Splinter commented.

Mikey finally pulled himself out of his shell, before proceeding to roll on the ground and make random noises.

"Come on, Mikey," Leo insisted. "Focus."

Leo ran forward and took another swing at Mikey, prompting him to leap up and dodge it. Leo then drew his other sword and swung at him with both, missing Mikey everytime. After a third miss, Mikey slapped Leo upside the head. This gave the blue turtle the chance to kick him hard in the stomach, sending him flying across the dojo.

"Ow!" Mikey let out, holding his arm. "Dude!"

"Sorry!" Leo responded. "I didn't mean-"

Leo was suddenly cut off by a water balloon to the face. He wiped off the water as Mikey cheered.

"Aw yeah! The water balloon arm is back! Woo!"

He began dancing around his brother, humming a bit and pointing at Leo's soaked face. Karai couldn't help but laugh at the antics, though Splinter just sighed as he rubbed his snout. More than a little embarrassed by what just happened, Leo instantly charged at Mikey, much to his horror.

"No, no, no, no, wait!" Mikey let out before holding his arm again. "Ow, my arm-"

Leo just tackled him, both turtles careening right into Donnie and dragging him into their scuffle. Raph watched them for a moment, shrugged, dropped his sai, then dove into the fight. Karai's laughter grew at the sight.

"Is this how training always goes?" she questioned.

"Unfortunately," Splinter admitted. "Yame!"

The turtles ceased their fighting, untangling from one another and arranging themselves in a line before their sensei.

"My sons… and Karai… that is enough for today."

The turtles all bowed before heading off.

"Karai, you coming?" Leo asked.

"In a minute," she replied.

Leo nodded, then the turtles left the training area. This left Karai alone with Splinter

"Not what you expected, I imagine," Splinter assumed.

"I will admit, it's a little weird being with… people I was told were my enemies. Still, I'll get used to it. On the bright side, when you finally let me train again, I might actually have some fun."

"A warrior must be strong in both body and mind. What you experienced at the hands of the Shredder, his lies and betrayal, I know all too well that such pain does not easily heal..."

"That's putting it mildly…" Karai replied, her voice hardening slightly.

Splinter took notice of this, walking over to her.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

"The last time you let me use the memory orb, I…" she hesitated, then let out a long breath, "I asked my father what really happened between him and Shredder… and my mother…"

"Karai…"

"All my life, Shredder used to tell me about her. How special she was. How the loss hurt him… but he just struck her down like it was nothing. He never cared for her at all."

"No, he didn't. It was his brother, Oroku Nagi who loved your mother. He lost a duel to my Master Yoshi, and in doing so, lost his life. In Saki's eyes, Shen was nothing more than a reminder of why his brother was dead."

Karai clenched her fist upon hearing this.

"How can you not hate him for what he's done? How could you not want revenge?"

"I have," Splinter replied, pouring some tea into two cups. "But I have learned that revenge does not gain one anything. It only leads to more pain."

"But I've seen you fight, Sensei. You could take him out."

"Miwa… Karai..." Splinter sighed, pinching the bridge of his snout. "Vengeance is a path of destruction. In following it, I nearly doomed my sons, innocent children, to a life of pain and hardship, devoid of true happiness. I am thankful that I was turned from it before it was too late," he placed a paw on her shoulder, "and I implore you to do the same. If you truly seek vengeance against Saki, then live well, and be happy. That, my child, is the best revenge."

He then handed Karai a cup of tea, which she gratefully took. Splinter then took the second one, allowing them both to partake.

Outside, Donnie was doing some tune-ups to his bo-staff, the parts scattered across the floor as he worked. Raph came over and plopped onto the couch, a magazine in his hands. When he saw what Donnie was doing, he rolled his eyes.

"You know, you wouldn't have to keep relying on all those gadgets and gizmos if you actually focused on training," he remarked.

"For one, I'm merely doing some upgrades to decrease friction in the blade release," Donnie informed his brother, never looking up from his work. "Secondly, most of the time I'm either fixing things to make our home livable, or just stuff you broke. And thirdly, how many times have my 'gadgets and gizmos' saved your sorry shell?"

"About as many times as they've blown up in our faces."

"My inventions don't explode that often!"

At that moment, a fuse sparked under his screwdriver and the entire thing exploded in a small puff of smoke. Donnie coughed, waving a hand in front of his face.

"You were saying?" Raph said smugly.

"That was because you distracted me!"

"Look, when push comes to shove, you need to be able to fight without relying on your inventions. I mean, look at what happened earlier. You were no match for my perfectly tuned fight engine."

"What was that?" Mikey questioned. "Perfect Tuna Fight Engine?"

Raph grabbed a can of soda that was sitting on the coffee table, throwing it at Mikey. It bounced off his head with a hard thwack, eliciting a pained yelp from the orange turtle.

"Ow! What the heck?!"

"Ok, that's it," Donnie declared, picking up his stuff and walking off. "I'll be in my lab where I can finally work in peace!"

He stalked off, slamming the door behind him hard and locking it shut. Mikey came over, the soda can in hand as he rubbed his head.

"Dude, not cool," he told Raph, handing him the soda. "Donnie's not a brawn guy like you. He's a brain guy."

"And which do you think we'll need when we need to go up against the Shredder again?"

"Both," Leo answered, walking up to them. "Hasn't Master Splinter already taught us that we need to embrace all aspects of ourselves to work as an effective team?"

"Yeah, yeah," Raph sighed before cracking the soda open. "I hear-"

The soda exploded in his face, completely drenching him. Mikey busted out laughing as Raph sat there, dripping and sputtering with his magazine soaked.

"Maybe you need to start thinking more with your head instead of your fists," Leo suggested, barely suppressing a snicker. "You'll avoid a lot of messes that way."

Inside Donnie's lab, he had just set everything down on his work table when his computer started beeping.

"What on…" he let out, going towards it and checking what it was displaying. "Airship… Beijing… oh no."

Seconds later, he threw open the doors to his lab.

"Guys! Get over here! I've got something big!"

Not much later, the turtles, Karai, and Splinter all gathered in Donnie's lab as he sat at his computer.

"I was about to work on some stuff when my computer's Kraang Frequency Scanner went off, "he relayed. picking up a Kraang transmission."

"What'd you find?" Leo asked.

"Apparently, the Kraang have been building some kind of airship for the Shredder. Once it's finished, they're going to take it to Beijing and try to collect the Anti-Gravity generator that's keeping the city afloat."

"What?!" everyone exclaimed.

"If he does that, the entire city will come crashing down!" Karai cried out. "Everyone on the city will die!"

"That's not even the worst part," Donnie informed her. "The shockwave from the city falling… well, let's just say we'll have a first person view of what killed the dinosaurs."

"Yikes," Mikey let out. "And Shredder's just ok with that? I mean, he can't rule the world if everyone's dead, right?"

"Knowing Shred-head, he figures he can just rule over who's left without any competition," Raph snarled.

"We have to stop him," Karai insisted.

"Any idea on how?"

"Honeycutt!" Mikey exclaimed, making everyone jump. "He speaks Triceraton-ese, remember? He spoke to all the ships we stole! He can probably talk to this anti-grav doohickey and turn it off slowly!"

"That..." Raph let out. "That could work."

"It scares me when he actually has good ideas," Donnie let out.

"Just one more problem," Leo reminded everyone, "Unlike Shredder, we don't exactly own anything air-worthy. And it's not like we can just catch the next flight out of JFK."

"Well..." Donnie let out, rubbing the back of his head. "That's not exactly true… I might have a way to get us to Beijing."

Back at the Foot base, numerous crates of supplies were being transported on board, under the Shredder's direct supervision. Off to the side, Stockman was hovering next to a large structure covered with a tarp.

"Finally…" Stockman let out. "I will be whole again…"

"What are you babbling about, Stockman?" Slash asked, walking up to him.

"Oh, you'll see in a moment."

Stockman's pod then extended a small metal arm that pulled off the tarp, revealing a large metal body underneath. It was twice the size of a normal Kraang droid body, with a slot in the neck where his tank could fit. The body then picked up the tank and slid it into place, allowing several cables to attach to the brain itself. Finally, Stockman's holographic head appeared on the top, a smug smile gracing his face.

"Ah, whole once again… so to speak."

"Congratulations," Slash remarked, crossing his arms. "You're an even bigger failure."

"As if you have room to talk, 'Slash'," Stockman retorted.

"Don't call me that!" Slash demanded, slamming him against the wall. "That name is an insult! A mockery!"

"What is going on over here?!" Shredder roared.

"Uh…" Slash let out, releasing Stockman. "Nothing. Master."

"See that it stays that way. I have no patience for petty squabbles. Now, this mission will go off without a hitch, or I will have both of your heads."

"Yes, Master," the two replied at the same time.

With that, Shredder walked off, leaving Stockman to glare at his master in disdain.

Meanwhile, the turtles and Karai were riding on the handcar heading for Donnie's garage. Mikey and Raph, having lost the ro-sham-bo contest, were stuck working the thing as Leo put in a call to TCRI.

"Hello? Professor Honeycutt?"

"Ah, Leonardo, hello. What can I do for you?"

"Shredder's making a move on the Triceraton Anti-Gravity generator in Beijing. We need to get there first and lower the city safely."

"Oh my, that does sound rather important. I'm afraid the transmat is still out of commission, but I may have a solution that could work. Please hold on."

With that, the call abruptly ended. In an instant, Donnie's Shell Cell pinged, signaling him to take it out and see Fugitoid's face on the screen.

"Wow," Donnie let out. "That was fast."

"Indeed," the fugitoid replied. "I used the connection I still have with your Shell Cell to transfer my consciousness. It will give Mortu and the Utroms a chance to continue with repairs and upgrades to my new body, and allow me to aid you without taking up unnecessary time and room."

"Good, cause time is one thing we don't have much of," Leo declared. "Glad you could make it."

Finally, the handcar reached the ladder heading to the garage. The five ninjas wasted no time climbing up into the main part of the building, Donnie instantly heading for the lights.

"So what exactly is this project you've been working on?" Raph questioned. "Don't tell me it's a helicopter or something like that."

"Not exactly," Donnie replied, heading over to a large object hidden under a tarp.

In an instant, Donnie yanked the tarp off, the four ninjas and the phone-bound robot all gasped. It was the personal cruiser of the now former Triceraton Prime Leader. The entire thing was completely overhauled, sporting green paint in a turtle shell pattern, as well as graffiti style lettering that said "TMNT" across the main doors.

"Whoa…" they all let out.

"Is that Zanramon's personal space cruiser?" Leo asked.

"With some major modification," Donnie replied. "I call it… the Shell Shuttle!"

"You guys have a space ship..." Karai let out. "I'm… shockingly not surprised."

"And since it's made from a Triceraton vessel, it should be able to pass through the atmospheric shield of Beijing no problem."

"Just one question," Leo spoke up. "Who's going to fly it?"

"I will," Karai declared. "I have a pilot's license, so it works out."

"You do? Since when?"

"You don't know everything about me."

She then sauntered onto the Shell Shuttle, leaving Leo to just stare, dumbfounded. Raph snickered, elbowing his brother.

"Hey Leo, I think you dropped your jaw. Or was it your dignity? It's hard to tell."

"Oh, let's just go," Leo insisted, shoving Raph forward.

The group quickly boarded the Shell Shuttle, Karai taking the pilot's seat as Donnie passed her the Professor.

"Next stop, the floating city of Beijing," Honeycutt declared.

"Hold onto your shells," Karai let out, starting up the ship.

As soon as the ship powered up, it shot upwards, blowing a hole in the roof of the garage before streaking across the sky.

At the Foot base, everything was loaded onto the airship, including several large metal spheres that were being loaded on by forklifts.

"What are those?" Slash asked.

"Just a little extra security measure I whipped up to help you out," Stockman told him. "Perhaps with these aiding you, you might actually be able to stop the turtles for once."

Slash just growled at him, prompting Stockman to walk away, smiling at the tiny victory he had over his mutated companion. With the last of the supplies loaded up, and Shredder, Slash, and Stockman onboard, the airship was ready for take off. Shredder stood at the command deck as the airship rose into the air, determined to see the mission through himself.

"Gentlemen," Karai spoke up after a few hours of flight time. "Welcome to China. We'll be approaching the floating city of Beijing here in a few minutes. So please place your trays in the upright position, buckle your seatbelts, and pray we don't get shot out of the sky."

As the Shell Shuttle flew up towards the city, the turtles looked out and saw the job they had to do.

"Sure seems a lot bigger than on TV," Mikey remarked.

"Yeah," Raph agreed. "And we ain't the only ones to notice."

Raph pointed out the window, noting the Foot airship heading towards the city ahead of them.

"Shredder..." Leo snarled.

Karai's grip tightened on the controls and she had to force herself to breath, fighting every instinct to fly right at her former father.

"Donnie," Leo spoke up. "How good is the cloaking on this thing?"

"Not sure," Donnie admitted. "Should be undetectable by Kraang scanners, but I don't think we should risk it."

"Agreed. Karai, take us around. We can't risk Shredder shooting us out of the sky before we get into the city."

Karai just silently nodded, banking off away from the Foot transport as carefully as she could manage.

Onboard the airship, a Foot-Mech took notice of the Shell Shuttle on the radar, calling his master over.

"Master Shredder, we are not alone."

Shredder took a look at the radar, seeing the shuttle flying past.

"The turtles… blast them out of the sky!"

Outside, the airship's weapons opened fire on the Shell Shuttle, prompting Karai to take evasive action.

"I think they saw us!" Mikey cried out.

"Way to state the obvious, Mikey!" Raph exclaimed.

"Karai, get us down into the city, anywhere you can!" Leo shouted. "If the shuttle goes down, we're stranded on another continent!"

"Working on it!" Karai replied. "This thing got a gun or something?!"

"Yes, it does!" Donnie declared. "Raph! You know what to do!"

"I'm all over it!" Raph called back, taking the gunner position.

He quickly strapped himself in and opened fire on the Foot airship. Karai continued to swerve and maneuver the Shell Shuttle around the airship's attacks while Raph shot at the airship with reckless abandon. The Shell Shuttles shots seemed to be doing little against the airship's hull, much to Raph's annoyance.

"We're just tickling this thing!" Raph let out. "We need bigger firepower."

"Sorry, Raph," Donnie replied. "But that's all I got."

Suddenly, one of the airship's blasts nailed the Shell Shuttle in the wing, causing everything to shake.

"Not good, not good!" Karai exclaimed, wrestling with the controls. "We're going down!"

"Just get us in the city!" Leo insisted.

Karai did her best to pilot the shuttle towards the floating city, knowing that if they were going to make it, it would be a close call. Their descent was bringing them dangerously close to the edge of the city, but Karai managed to pull up at the last second, allowing them to reach the street, scraping hard along the asphalt as they came to a very loud, bumpy landing. Finally, the shuttle came to an abrupt stop, allowing the five ninjas to pick themselves up.

"Everyone alright?" Leo asked.

There were four pained groans emanating from the four ninjas, who were a bit shaken, but otherwise alright.

"Thankfully, the damage wasn't too bad," the professor declared. "The auto-repair sequences should have things fixed within the hour."

"At least we're inside the city," Karai noted.

"And miles off target," Leo lamented. "It could take forever to get there on foot."

Donnie looked around for anything that might be of use to them. His eye caught sight of a bike attached to a wagon on the street.

"I think that might do it," Donnie noted.

"Great," Raph replied. "Hope you're up for it."

"Wait, why do I have to peddle?"

"The turtle sub, bro?" Mikey reminded him. "You so owe us for that."

"He's not wrong," Karai pointed out. "That sucked."

"Why are you complaining?" Raph asked as they all got on. "You weren't the one peddling."

"Sympathy pains, Raphael. It's a thing. Plus, you know he deserves it."

Raph thought for a moment, then grinned and nodded.

"Yeah."

"I hate every single one of you," Donnie declared as he got on the bike.

At the base of the Anti-Gravity generator, several military forces were maintaining vigil over the device, keeping it safe from any unsanctioned access. Just then, the Foot airship flew overhead, causing the soldiers below to all look up in shock.

"We're under attack!" one screamed in chinese.

The soldiers opened fire on the airship, but their weapons proved to be ineffective.

"Pathetic," Shredder remarked. "Hun, deal with them."

"That won't be necessary, Master," Stockman spoke up, walking up to the two of them. "I have a little surprise for our unsuspecting friends here.

Stockman then pressed a button on the console, allowing the hanger door to open up. Just then, Stockman's metal spheres rolled out, falling towards the ground below. As they landed on the ground, they sprouted metal legs and stood up, before sprouting heads with red eyes and razor sharp teeth.

"Giant Mousers?" Slash assumed.

"Indeed," Stockman replied. "It pays to innovate."

The soldiers tried shooting at the Mousers, but like with the airship, their bullets seemed ineffective. One of the Mousers brought its metal leg down on a nearby searchlight and smashed it to pieces like it was nothing.

The Mouser then snapped at one of the soldiers, resulting in it smashing his gun in its mouth. The Mousers continued smashing searchlights and fending off soldiers, to the point where they were forced to go into a retreat.

This allowed the Mousers to smash down the fence surrounding the generator so they could secure it. Once the area was under Foot control, a large metal claw dropped down from the ship, attaching to the generator itself. Once it was secure, Stockman climbed down the coil and onto the device, preparing to get to work.

Not far away, the turtles and Karai were closing in on the Anti-Grav device.

"The Anti… Gravity generator…" Donnie let out between breaths. "Should be dead ahead."

"I see it!" Mikey called out, leaning forward and pointing. "And look who's there!"

Up on the airship, Shredder looked out and saw the turtles quickly approaching.

"Persistent fool," he cursed. "Hun! Deal with them."

"With pleasure," Slash replied, leaping down from the airship.

He landed hard enough to crack the asphalt, popping his neck before grinning maliciously.

"Oh, great," Raph let out. "Look who's here."

"And he brought company," Mikey noted, seeing the Mousers joining him. "Lots of it."

"We knew this wouldn't be easy," Leo reminded them. "Divide and conquer, but no matter what, we cannot let Beijing fall!"

The four nodded as they leapt out of the cart and ran into battle. Raph leapt over one Mouser and landed on it's back, jamming his sai into its neck and shorting it out. Mikey jumped at one and bashed away at it with his nunchucks. The strikes seemed to do little, but they forced the Mouser to back away so Donnie could run forward. The purple clad turtle spun his staff wildly, bashing away every Mouser in his path as he worked towards the generator.

Leo meanwhile, had just finished slicing through a Mouser when Slash ran up to him. Thinking fast, Leo leapt onto the head of a downed Mouser before leaping off it, sailing over Slash's head as he landed behind him. Slash spun around and tried swiping his claws at Leo, but the turtle quickly brought his swords up to block it.

"I don't think I ever got the chance to make you pay for my genetic make-over," Slash snarled. "Let's see if I can turn you as blue as that mask of yours."

"Honestly, Slash, the new look is a huge improvement over before. At least now you're supposed to look freakish."

Slash roared in response before trying to bring his fists down on him. Leo quickly rolled underneath Slash, slicing at his leg in the process. Slash cried out in pain before spinning around and backhanding Leo, sending him flying before skidding across the ground. Leo groaned in pain before slowly getting back up. As he did so, Slash ran up to him and tried to slice at him. Leo quickly held up his sword to block the strike, straining under the weight of his opponent. Suddenly, a second blade came to his rescue, a tanto wielded by Karai.

"I'd say pick on someone your own size, but we both know that's impossible," she quipped.

She then leapt up and kicked Slash across the face.

From up on the airship, Shredder watched the battle play out, his eyes locking on a particular opponent.

"Karai…"

Not wasting a second, he leapt down from the ship, landing on the generator and making his way down the generator. Seeing him descend as he made his way up, Donnie quickly leapt towards Shredder, kicking him to a nearby platform. Shredder rolled backwards before getting back to his feet as Donatello landed in front of him, drawing his staff.

"You've made a bold choice to face me alone, boy," Shredder taunted.

"You're not taking the Anti-Grav generator, and there's no way I'm letting you anywhere near Karai."

"Then you will die braver than most," Shredder told him, extending his claws.

He lashed out at Donnie, forcing him to duck under the attack before swinging his staff at him. Shredder raised a hand to block it, prompting Donnie to pull back and spin his staff before leaping up and swinging it down at him. Shredder easily backed away before kicking him aside, sending him skidding towards the edge. Donnie barely had a chance to recover before Shredder moved towards him, swinging his claw at him. Donnie quickly brought his staff up to block the attack, moving it to the side before jabbing him with the other end of his weapon. As Shredder stumbled back, Donnie activated the blade in his staff, spinning it before charging at Shredder once more.

Back down below, Raph just finished taking down another Mouser when he saw Donnie's fight against Shredder.

"Guys!" he called out. "Donnie's in trouble!"

"Go help him!" Leo called back. "We'll try to hold the line here!"

Raph nodded before heading to the tower. As he started climbing it, several Foot-Mech's began dropping down from the airship. Some of them landed near Raph, cutting off his path to Donnie.

"Bad move, tin cans," Raph remarked, pulling out a sai.

A Foot-Mech then released its grip, falling towards Raph. Raph quickly moved aside before stabbing the Mech, causing it to fall to the ground. Raph then leapt up as another fell towards him, kicking it in the head so it would fall to the ground on top of the other one, destroying them both.

Back with Donnie, he and Shredder continued duking it out, the former dodging and blocking as many of the metal villains attacks as he could. Just then, two Foot-Mech's dropped down behind Donnie, grabbing his arms to try and immobilize him.

"Finally," Shredder spoke, getting ready to strike.

Meanwhile, on top of the generator, Stockman continued hacking into the device's systems in an attempt to shut it down.

"Commencing shutdown sequence… now."

Just as he did that however, an energy pulse shot out from the device, causing everyone to turn towards it in confusion.

"What the-" Mikey let out.

Just then, the city started dropping, much to everyone's utter horror. Soon, everyone started lifting up off the ground, struggling to find something to hold onto. As Donnie lifted up off the ground, he quickly swatted the Foot-Mech's away with his staff, before Shredder kicked him in the plastron, this caused him to tumble through the air before grabbing a hold of the side of the generator. As he made contact with the structure, his Shell Cell slipped out of his belt, flying through the air. Raph quickly dove for it, grabbing it before it got too far.

"Professor, what's going on and how do we stop it?!"

"It seems the Anti-Gravity generator has a security measure against tampering. The city will crash into the planet unless we act fast."

"Hate to break it to ya, Prof, but I'm not exactly mr. machine here."

"Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. Just get me to an open panel."

Raph looked around, trying to find anything that could work. After a bit, he found one and quickly pried it open.

"Done. Now what?"

"Plug the device in, and begin regulating power to the anti-gravity flux capacitor. That should decrease the descent at a rate of 12.6 Phraxos per-

"Prof! I'm not Donnie!"

"Right, sorry. Bring the device back online and once it's reactivated, slowly decrease power so the city is lowered safely."

"Ok… here we go."

Raph plugged in the device and began following Fugitoid's instructions. Back up top, Shredder began pulling himself down to the ground when he noticed the airship taking off.

"Stockman, what are you doing?!" he called over commes to no answer. "Stockman!"

Onboard, Stockman closed up the hanger doors and proceeded to the command deck.

"Pity about the Master," he remarked to himself. "But if he insists on putting himself at the forefront of danger, who am I to deny him."

Back on the ground, everyone started lowering to the ground as Raph continued to work. As Karai got to the ground, she looked up and saw Shredder picking himself up. Her grip tightened on her tanto, images of plunging it into Shredder's chest filling her mind. She wanted him to pay, needed him to pay for what he had done…

Before she could make a move though, the sound of Leo's cries of pain broke through the anger clouding her mind. She whipped around, just in time to see Slash stomping down hard on Leo's shell. She turned back towards Shredder for just a moment, before turning back around and darting towards Slash. She quickly chucked a smoke bomb at him, causing smoke to go off in his face, disorienting him. He stepped off of Leo as he stumbled backwards, allowing Karai to leap towards him and slash at his plastron.

Back on the tower, Donnie managed to swing onto a nearby platform stabilizing himself as Shredder leapt down towards him. Thinking fast, Donnie extended his staff and slapped Shredder into the side of the generator with it. Shredder dropped down hard as Donnie retracted his staff. Shredder then leapt at him, pinning himself against the railing. It took all of Donnie's strength to move one of the ends of his staff towards Shredder. Once it was in place, he pressed a button and activated the taser setting, causing a surge of electricity to surge through Shredder and his metal armor. He let out a cry of pain as he backed off, allowing Donnie to bat him away with his staff.

Raph meanwhile, continued working with Fugitoid to lower the city.

"How we doin, Fugitoid?"

"Not long now. Unfortunately, I'll have to divert power from the atmospheric shields. Though I do believe the wind resistance would be on our side in this instance."

The atmospheric shields to the city then shut down, causing a massive surge of wind to over take the ninjas and robots as they continued to fight.

"If it's not one thing, it's another," Leo noted, dodging a Foot-Mech's sword before slicing into it himself.

"Look on the bright side!" Mikey called out. "Now we know how it feels like to fly!"

"You know we've actually flown, right?!"

"Guys," Karai spoke up. "Less talking, more fighting!"

She charged forward, slicing into several Foot-Mech's before being confronted by a Mouser. She leapt onto its head and stabbed into it, shutting it down. Mikey leapt onto the back of one Mouser and wrapped a nunchaku around its neck, allowing him to ride it into battle, mowing down numerous other Mousers in rapid succession.

"Yee-haw!" he cheered. "Get along, little Mouser!"

As Raph continued to work, a Mouser climbed up the side of the generator, forcing him to spin around and stab at it. As the Mouser fell, a Foot-Mech landed on the railing, drawing its sword. Before either one could make a move, Donnie dropped down, smacking the robot in the faceplate and knocking it to the ground.

"Donnie!" Raph let out. "Man am I glad to see you. Where's Shredder?"

"Taking a power nap," Donnie replied. "How we doing?"

"We almost got the city down to the ground, but these robots just keep coming."

"We also have to figure out how to keep Shredder from coming back for this thing later.

"I may be able to help with that last part," Fugitoid offered. "If I can access the generator's operating system, I should be able to send out a pulse that will fry the device's systems permanently."

Suddenly, Raph perked up with an idea.

"Yo, Professor, think you could use that pulse to fry a few other things?
Donnie brightened up, realizing what Raph was planning.

"Never thought I'd say this, but Raphael, you're a genius!"

Donnie took the Shell Cell and quickly got to work helping Fugitoid, this allowed Raph to leap back down to the battle below and help his brothers. Mikey meanwhile kept bucking around on his co-opted Mouser, until finally getting thrown off. As he landed on the ground, the Mouser moved towards him, only for Raph to land on top of it and stab it in the back.

"Please tell me we're almost done!" Raph snapped.

"Getting there," Mikey replied, flipping back to his feet.

Leo and Karai meanwhile were back to back, fending off Mousers and Foot-Mech's alike.

"Donnie!" Leo called out. "We can't keep this up much longer!"

"Almost there!" Donnie called back. "Just a… little more."

Just as they finally reached the ground, a massive pulse shot out from the generator. It fried every single mouser and foot-mech, reducing them to lifeless pieces of machinery. Soon, they all crumbled to the ground, completely and utterly broken. Seeing that all the Foot robots were down, Donnie let out a sigh of relief.

"Nice work, Professor," Donnie commended.

"Thank you, Donatello. The pulse should have disable the robots, but also fried the generator itself as well."

"Meaning Shredder and the Foot can't come back for this thing ever," Leo surmised as Donnie climbed down.

"What about Shredder himself?" Karai asked.

"Gone," Donnie reported. "Probably disappeared during the fight."

"Same with Slash," Mikey added as he and Raph walked up. "Long gone."

"Sorry Karai," Leo told her. "I know how much getting him meant to-"

"Don't worry about it," Karai reassured. "You guys, you mean far more to me then petty revenge."

"Awww," Mikey gushed, hugging Karai. "I knew you loved us."

Karai just rolled her eyes in response.

"Hey," Raph spoke up, walking over to Donnie. "You did pretty good, going mano y mano with the Shredder back there. Guess you're pretty tough after all."

"Thanks Raph," Donnie replied. "And that was some quick thinking, using the EMP blast to take out the bots. Not even I thought of that."

The two exchanged high threes as Leo looked out at the horizon, his eyes narrowing. Karai took notice, turning to him.

"Everything alright, Leo?"

"I don't think so..." he pointed out into the distance. "Isn't the Forbidden City supposed to be north of here?"

"Yeah," Karai nodded before noticing something else. "And, isn't the sun supposed to rise in the east?"

"Oh dear..." Honeycutt let out. "Did I set the city down facing the wrong direction?"

Back in New York, Stockman walked through the halls of the Foot's underground installation, a smug smile on his face.

"It will be a shame to report on what happened to the Master," Stockman said to himself, his voice betraying the elation he felt. "But, with that bladed blowhard out of the picture, I can finally make some proper changes around here."

He then opened the doors to the main lab area, prepared to make a grandiose speech. However, the words died on his holographic tongue when he set his sights on both Slash and Shredder exiting a Kraang scout ship.

"M-M-Master Shredder," Stockman let out. "You're… you're alive! I'm so relieved-"

"Spare me your prattling, Stockman," Shredder cut off, walking up to him. "Your transparent attempt to try and terminate me was nothing more than a fool's errand. However, this excursion was not a total loss."

"Master?" Slash inquired.

"While we were unable to obtain the generator, the airship was taking detailed scans the entire time. It will not take much to engineer our own device from the plans. As for you, Stockman..."

"Master," Stockman replied, backing away nervously. "I can explain-"

"If you don't mind," Shredder cut off, extending his claws. "I'd prefer to explain it to you in terms I know you will understand."

"No, Master. No. NOOOO!"
