(Abigail's POV)
*I caught up with Sonic just as he entered the Nanite City*
Sonic: Nice of you to drop in.
Abigail: Save the sarcasm for later. Let's pummel these bird-brains!
*I followed Sonic as he jumped down hole after the Babylon Rogues*
Sonic: So you made a fool of me and attacked our town. *he bounced off Wave & Storm (a male grey albatross with black eyes & a yellow beak wearing yellow glasses, a necklace with three grey stones on it, tan gloves, & black, white, & yellow sneakers, who was riding a yellow hover board), but Jet dodged* So you put everything and everyone we care about in jeopardy. *we all landed on the ground below* As long as you get what you want, it's all cool, right?
Jet: Right! I'm glad you see it my way!
*I got out my hook swords & charged at him*
Abigail: You really don't understand sarcasm, do you!?
*Sonic spin dashed Jet in the stomach, knocking him to the ground, off his board*
Sonic: No gravity stopper doohickey this time? Guess you aren't quick enough on the dra -
*Suddenly, Wave trapped us both in a blue bubble, using a brown ring with a glow blue light in the middle, freeing us both in our tracks*
Wave: Neither are you, True Blue. Same goes for you, Girly.
Jet: Let's move before the gravity field wears off and pinhead here puts his spines where they're not wanted!
Wave: "Gee, thanks for the help there, Wave." "No problem, Jet! Just doing my part for the team!"
Jet: Yeah, yeah. You're a real life saver. You know, it's too bad. Once we this key. I won't get to use that trick anymore.
*They started going down a hallway. The gravity field soon wore off & Sonic zoomed after them. I quickly followed. I soon found myself in what looked like a control room. The Babylon Rogues were all laying on the floor & standing behind them was a very ancient looking robot*
Sonic: So this pile of junk is what you attacked New Mobotropolis for?
Jet: Hey, attacking your town was just the icing on the cake! This "Pile of Junk" is proof that I accomplished something no one else could.
Abigail: You accomplished!?
*Sonic threw Jet at Wave & Storm*
Sonic: You needed these two and the whole Armada to dig this thing up! What is it, anyway? And why in the name of chili dogs did Eggman build right on top of it!?
Ancient Robot: THE ONE CALLED EGGMAN DID NOT BUILD THE NANITE CITY. HE HAD NEVER PROBED TO THIS DEPTH AND NEVER DETECTED MY PRESENCE. THE CITY WAS CONSTRUCTED BY THE PROGRAM A.D.A.M. HE DETECTED MY SYSTEMS AND INTENDED TO TAP INTO THEM TO EXPEDITE THE TRANSPORT OF THE MYSTIC GEMS ACROSS THE VAST REACHES OF SPACE.
Abigail: What? Most of the Chaos Emeralds were sent to the Zone of Silence & the ones that belong in this Zone were spread across the world. How could you have helped?
Ancient Robot: I AM EQUIPPED WITH A WORM-HOLE GENERATOR THAT CREATES SHORTCUTS ACROSS SPACE-TIME. HOWEVER, MY SYSTEMS COULD NOT BE ACCESSED WITHOUT THE MATRIX, SO A.D.A.M. SOUGHT OTHER METHODS.
Wave: So this is a spaceship?
Ancient Robot: AFFIRMATIVE.
Sonic: More alien losers. Just what this planet needs!
Wave: So who removed your key, your "ignition matrix", and why?
Ancient Robot: IT WAS REMOVED BY THE BABYLONIANS DUE TO AN IRREPLACEABLE MALFUNCTION IN THE WORMHOLE GENERATOR THAT WOULD CAUSE THE CREATION OF A BLACK HOLE IF USED. DESTRUCTION OF THE PLANET WOULD RESULT. THEY REFUSED THAT RESPONSIBILITY AND SETTLED ON THIS WORLD. THE SHIP AND THE MATRIX WERE HIDDEN TO PREVENT THIS OCCURRENCE IN THE FUTURE.
Wave: Astounding! If these babylonians settled on Mobius, then that means . . .
Sonic: You guys are the alien losers! *Suddenly, Storm grabbed both me & Sonic* Hey!
Storm: OW! This guy is pointy!
Jet & Wave: Aliens?
Ancient Robot: WITH THE IGNITION MATRIX RESTORED, I WILL PROCEED TO ORBIT FOR OPTIMAL GRAVITATION BALANCE AND INITIATE WORMHOLE JUMP. I SUGGEST THE EVACUATION OF THE PLANET, AS IT WILL BE DESTROYED.
Abigail, Sonic, Jet, & Wave: WHAT!?
*Suddenly, everything started to shake*
Abigail: Would somebody please tell us what's going on!?
Wave: The ship's autopilot is going to open a black hole that will swallow Mobius!
Jet: The Lightless Black . . .
*Sonic got out of Storm arms & zoomed towards the robot*
Sonic: Thanks for waking up the Doomsday machine, Genius! Let me put it back to sleep, permanently!
*Jet grabbed Sonic before he could reach the robot*
Jet: No! I need to know more about Babylon! Au-Autopilot! I . . . I am a . . . Descendant of Babylon! I order you to stop!
Ancient Robot: ORDER DENIED. YOU LACK SUFFICIENT SECURITY CLEARANCE. I MUST RETURN TO HOMEWORLD FOR REPAIRS.
Jet: Homeworld!? Wave - ! Could you reprogram this thing?
Wave: Maybe, but it will take time. My readings show that we only have minutes before the Wormhole jump! *she then pointed to a glowing blue cube* If we don't get that key out now, Mobius is done for!
Sonic: Allow me!
*Suddenly, Speedy flew in & knocked us all down*
Speedy: No, allow me! Well, Jet . . . It looks like the "Great Destiny" you and my Dad have been chasing is about to blow up in all our faces. Maybe I should leave the key where it is, and let you be responsible for the doom of the entire world. How'd that be for "Great Destiny"? Nah. I'd rather savor your defeat. Dad is going to pluck you bald and I'll be hailed as the Savior of Mobius. All I have to do is pull out this - key?
*He stopped in his tracks when he saw the key was gone*
Ancient Robot: WARNING. WARNING.
Abigail: You birds are really lucky we're the good guys.
*The birds all turned & saw me & Sonic, him holding the key*
Sonic: If we weren't, we'd make sure you jerks couldn't fly out of here before this heap comes crashing down.
*He then did a spin dash & destroyed the key*
Jet & Speedy: NO!
Ancient Robot: LOSS OF POWER TO ENGINES. ALL SYSTEMS FAILING. CRASH LANDING IMMINENT.
*Sonic then scooped me up bridal style*
Sonic: We'd like to stay and make stuffing out of you turkeys . . .
Abigail: But we need to get back make our friends and family are okay.
Sonic: If anyone isn't okay, then you'd better hope you can run faster than me.
*He then opened the door behind us & we were sucked out because the air pressure. We landed on a nearby mountain & zoomed back to New Mobotropolis as the Babylon Garden & the Battle Fortress crashed into another mountain behind us*
Amy: Sonic! Abby! You're alive!
Tails: Hey, Sonic! We were worried about you!
*Sonic out me down & Amy hugged him. Bunnie & Antoine hugged me*
Sonic: Don't worry about us. How's everything here?
Tails: No casualties. But Naugus popped out of a shadow a few minutes ago, and he's been acting kinda weird.
Ixis Naugus: . . . Shut up! Shut up!
Abigail: Creepy . . .
Sonic: Peh! What else is new?
Rotor: We've already got people working on reconstructing the city. But without Nicole, it will be an arduous process.
Abigail: Where is Nicole?
Rotor: She uploaded herself to Freedom HQ. She may be stuck there for awhile.
Sonic: C'mon, little bro! Now that I know everyone's safe, we both have score to settle with some losers.
*He zoomed away with Tails behind him*
