Heart of the Infiltrators

(Senran Kagura x Male Reader)

Chapter 71: Patient Span

Having barely made it to school on time, the young man found himself hoping that the rest of the day would be a bit more ordinary or, at the very least, as ordinary as any day could be when he lived the life that he had. He had no complaints at all for how the previous day went, especially with how much relief and weightlessness he found in it, but he just wanted to adjust to some kind of norm before getting back to the usual craziness. The first sign that his hope was going to be in vain was the fact that several people kept taking glances at him before turning their heads away and muttering something about him being absolutely shameless and stalwart. If such a thing happened once or twice, the young man would have been content to go on with his day with only some slight confusion. However, when over seven groups of people had made a comment about him, he found the issue far too prevalent and went into the bathroom to see if he had something egregious on his face.

As it would turn out, the issue was not at all the young man's face but was, instead, glowing on his neck like a sore thumb. He raised up his fingers while eying the mirror, pressed them against the side of his throat, and pulled it back to unveil a hickey that Asuka had left behind. Not terribly bothered by it, the young man wondered if the mark was left intentionally or mistakenly before shrugging to himself and preparing to head back to class.

Then the phone n his pocket started to vibrate and the boy fumbled it out to answer, "Yellow."

Asuka's voice came off the other end, "Hey, I need to warn-," before she interrupted herself, "yellow?"

"Hello."

"Oh," murmured the girl before she continued, "Listen, I need to warn you about something weird coming your way."

"Sounds like life," responded the young man, dropping his few remaining hopes for a normal day before nodding his head, "Alright, what's coming?"

"There's quite a bit actually," said Asuka in a hesitant tone.

"Take me through step by step," came the young man's hushed voice as he raised up an easing hand, as though she were right in front of him.

"Alright…" started Asuka before she took a breath, "First, everyone in the relationship will be coming to your apartment after school."

"Any reason or just to hang out?"

"Partly to hang out and partly to supervise the second thing."

"What's the second thing?"

"It's-, oh boy," started Asuka before she began to cautiously say, "Now, let me emphasize that this will sound weird but it will not be nearly as extreme as I'm going to make it sound… if I can find the right words to sum it up…"

"Alright."

"Hibari and Yagyū are coming over too… actually, so will Ikaruga but that will be for her own reasons."

"Okay."

There was a brief pause before Asuka's voice came out with a crack, "Well, she'll-, Hibari will be able to say it better than I am."

The young man almost let out a groan, "You're leaving me in suspense. Please, please, please, don't leave me in suspense. You can say it and whatever conclusion I come to can be corrected later."

A few squeaky sounds came from the other end of the line before Asuka said, "Well, to be frank, Hibari wants you to teach her… stuff."

"Clarify, please. Half-answers are the same as suspense."

"She wants you to teach her how to date."

"Thank you for the clear answer," said the young man before he blinked and stared off into space. After a few seconds, he then looked down to his phone, "Wait, repeat?"

"You heard what I said."

"In fact, I did," rumbled the young man before he clapped his free hand into his elbow and asked, "Is there… a particular reason Hibari wants me to teach her this or… was I just lucky number seven on the slot machine of random people she could ask about this kind of thing?"

"Well," hummed Asuka as she calmed her tone, "in her words, you're the only boy in our entire group and you must know what boy's like."

"Actually, it'd be more correct to say that I only know what I like," grumbled the young man as he shrugged to himself, "So, she couldn't ask Hanzō or Kiriya about this kind of thing?"

"Ikaruga asked the same thing at lunch. Hibari's response was that they were very old."

"That's true enough," whispered the young man before he scratched the back of his shoulder, "Alright, I'll anticipate some craziness and will come home with some tape around my neck to keep my head on."

There was a pause over the phone before Asuka asked, "Could you… clarify what that means? I don't think I've ever heard that expression before."

"With how crazy things tend to get, I'm expecting that sudden decapitation isn't off the table."

"Ah, okay then."

"I'll be at the apartment after school," said the young man.

"We'll see you there," came an upbeat reply from Asuka, "I love you!"

"Kisses and hugs, I love you too," said the young man before he pulled the phone away from his ear and hung up. As he slipped it back into his pocket, he turned around and found that a pair of boys had just entered the bathroom and heard the end of his conversation. When they began to make exaggerated kissy faces and lewd gestures at him, the young man simply shook his head with mild exasperation and made for the exit.

As he passed them, one of the boy's commented, "Ki-th-es n' 'ugs, I wuve you!"

The young man turned around and bounced up his shoulders as walked backwards, "You want a kiss and hug too? From me? There's hope for you yet," before lightheartedly spinning back to the door and making his exit.

The two students shared a laugh at the exchange before they paused, blinked at one another, and then pointed out that the one they shared a laugh with was the young man, the same one who had several rumors spinning about how he'd hung out Miki, a wanted terrorist. Thankfully, most of the scary things concerning the boy had subsided with the development of the invisible people popping up in the news from a couple of days before. Still, as some of the old rumors spun around and about in their heads, they wondered about whether or not the words surrounding the young man were overexaggerated or if they'd just placed themselves on a hitlist. Regardless, they vowed to be a bit more careful about who they shared a laugh with in the future.

Meanwhile, a short time after the end of the school day, the young man approached his apartment door and began to plot out his approach. He figured that everyone else was already in the apartment, a fact which bid him to leave his phone alone when he heard ringtone as he was just a minute away from his destination. He planned to himself that he'd hear Hibari through, make sure he didn't do anything to provoke the ire of Ikaruga, and would then offer his company and, if necessary, assurances to those in his relationship.

Having ran through the potential conversation in his head, the young man doublechecked to make sure that Sato wasn't peeking out to him before opening his door to find his apartment filled with all of the preannounced people and a few extras. More specifically, he saw the girls sitting as casually as they could in the living area while Jasmine, Oda, Naraku, and a child-formed Kagura were standing around with expectant looks on their faces. As he processed the unexpected guests' presence, Asuka quickly stood up and mouthed over to him, "I tried to call…!"

Realizing his own fault in the scenario, the young man nodded and dragged out a long breath. Then he decided to put his boldness on a test run and strolled into the room like there was nothing wrong in the world. As Jasmine opened her mouth to greet him, the young man eased up a hand and said, "Appointments first, walk-ins last. Even if the world is ending, no exceptions." He then pointed his hands to Hibari, "Asuka gave me some forewarning about what you'll be asking about. I'll come back to that quickly."

While Jasmine tried to vent out her surprise and interject, the pink-haired girl nodded and rested her hands on her knees politely, "Thank you," and sat back with Yagyū at her side.

The young man turned his attention to Ikaruga while ignoring the adults behind him, "I was told you were coming too. Any reason? Blood, flood, fire? Supervising or complaint?"

"Supervising," announced the girl immediately as she sat on the end of the couch, casting a wary eye over to Katsuragi as she did so, "Please, don't worry. I'm not here to complain about… recent developments. Ignore me."

Having never heard such a quick and, dare he think it, frightened tone from Ikaruga before, the young man turned his eyes back to the blonde sitting beside the television with Ayame at her side and asked, "What exactly did you do?"

"Don't talk about it," ordered Ikaruga as she mustered some strength and crossed her arms and legs.

Even still, Katsuragi answered wickedly, "Torture is always an effective tool."

"Don't talk about it!" came a more desperate cry.

"Memo," uttered the young man as he closed the eyes, "call the police," before he clapped his hands, "Alrighty." He then spun around to face his more intimate partners, who were sitting in various positions beside the couch and living area.

"Listen, we really should talk-," started Jasmine before the young man stuck both of his hands up at her.

"Ha-bu-ba-ba-ba-ba!" cried the boy before he announced, "Appointments first. If what you have to say is important, you would have called. If you have a complaint, take it up with Secretary Chomubach."

Hearing her name, the black cat let out a loud, "M-e-eraagh…" from Homura's lap.

"Exactly, I couldn't have put it better myself," stated the young man before he faced everyone else again, "Just to make sure, you guys are all doing alright?"

Yumi, taking in the young man's much brighter spirit, especially when compared to how he was a couple of days before, nodded her head, "Just fine," before craning her head to him, "What about you?"

"Well enough," answered the young man before bobbing his head backward, "Actually, if it weren't for the new arrivals and the foreboding likeliness of serious news, I'd say that I'm doing really good." He then nodded his head to the group and said, "Also, thank you guys for your ever so dastardly plotting yesterday. It, in all truth and honesty, helped a lot."

Murasaki, who was relaxing her head on top of Bebeby, straightened herself slightly and asked, "So, whatever Asuka had in mind worked?"

"Like a charm," answered the young man with a genuine smile. Then, after making sure that said smile made its way around to those he loved, he then spun around to Hibari, "Okay, back to you. You want me to teach you how to date?"

"Yes," came a sharp reply from Hibari as her head straightened up, "Teach me how to knab, seduce, and fluffily date! Teach me the way of boys!"

"And… just to make sure that I understand why I'm being selected for this teacher role, you're asking because I'm the only boy?"

Jasmine tried to butt her way in once again, "In all seriousness, there's something we need to talk about."

The young man spun around, "Well, you should have gotten an appointment set!"

The woman gestured to Naraku and Kagura, "In case you've forgotten the importance of these two, this may very well warrant us walking in!"

In spite of the exchange's heated nature, the more powerful of the pair simply gave her little shoulders a bounce, "No, don't mind us. This is like an episode of a cartoon I watch."

Whipping her head around and groaning, Jasmine made a few sounds of frustration while the young man gave his head a bow, "Thank you. I'll be with you soon enough." He then turned over to Hibari, "Anyways, to shorten my question, why me in particular?"

"Well," said Hibari as she clapped her hands together, "first, you're a boy."

"Yes."

"I've already asked everyone you're dating and I got a bunch of nonsense."

When the young man turned his head over, Katsuragi quickly locked her gaze with his and answered with a suggestive grin, "She asked, and I quote, about what we did to hook you in."

Beside her, Ayame commented with a similar expression, "Our only words were…" before clearing her throat and cheerfully asking, "…what didn't we do?"

Across the room, Miyabi simply commented, "To be fair, the rest of us just commented that we all click well enough."

"And I still don't know what any of those answers mean," came a loud grumble from Hibari.

"That's probably for the best," stated the young man in a quiet voice before he crossed his arms and said, "Any other reason or should I just skip to my answer?"

Hibari raised her head briefly before nodding for the young man to continue. On the other hand, Yagyū raised her hand and answered, "The third reason is that I also suggested you, mostly due to the fact that we find you're pleasant enough and that you already having seven women surrounding you and, thus, you must know what treatment a boy likes."

Hibari whipped her head around and quickly cried, "Yagyū! You can't just announce that a girl finds a boy pleasant! A wayward thought could carry several unintended implications! In fact, this whole scenario is delicate enough as it is…"

"It's the truth though."

In the meantime, the young man's thoughts were mirroring Hibari. He was well aware of how similar the scenario was to romcoms and the fact that it usually would bring the teacher and student together. Even if that sort of thing was in books and movies, his life was crazy enough that he could actually see it happening. In fact, if he kept to the traditional teaching method, he could guarantee that Hibari and, somehow, Yagyū were going to wind up hooked into the relationship.

Letting out a sigh, Hibari clasped her hands together and begged with a crackling voice, "Please, won't you teach me? I don't want to have to rely on the internet. They've already led me to embarrass myself several times."

A gasp of horror rushed out of the young man as he envisioned what horrors from the internet would guide the poor girl astray. He rested a fist against his head and already knew that, whether by protective instinct or by simply wanting to uphold and reinforce her trust in him, he was going to end up being her teacher. Still, it would require a different sort teaching method to prevent the romcom scenario that he envisioned. It wasn't so much that he felt Hibari was undesirable as much as it was, like he discussed with Asuka the other night, that he didn't know how to maneuver such a situation without making an ass of himself. So, with his arms crossed and his eyes hard, the young man nodded, "Very well, I'll do it." He then held up a finger and said, "Though… I must ask one thing in exchange."

Yagyū acted instinctively and heaved one of her arms over Hibari protectively, envisioning all of the horrible things that a boy could ask of a compromised girl. The reaction brought Hibari to ask, "What're you doing?" before she turned to the young man to ask, "What would you want?"

Without missing a beat, the young man answered frankly, "Before or after all of the teaching, we'll need to do your correction. In all seriousness, the only reason I'm not trying to press through everyone anymore is because I know we're not in dire straits yet. Still, we shouldn't tempt fate."

Feeling foolish for suspecting the young man, especially since Katsuragi was in the same room and served as a black and white comparison, Yagyū retracted her arms and shamefully scrunched herself up while Hibari nodded merrily, "Okay, we can do that!"

"Awesome," remarked the boy before he turned back around toward Jasmine, who looked relieved that she was finally going to be able to speak her mind. But just as the young man was about to vocally offer his attention to her, he spotted Murasaki staring at him with so much intensity that he had to do a doubletake, "What?"

The girl didn't blink as she stated, "There's a mark on your neck."

The young man quickly relaxed, "Oh," and nodded his head, "Yup. That'd be a hickey."

Having been caught up in the previous discussion, Yumi and Miyabi blinked before firing up onto their feet to launch a quick investigation. As the two moved to keep the young man as still as he was while he maintained a blank expression, Homura turned her head and smirked both knowingly and cheekily at Asuka, who was confused about whether or not she was supposed to feel ashamed. When Miyabi found the dark pinkish spot and the red dots that marked the connection of teeth, Yumi bumped her head up beside her and commented in a low voice, "This is usually a claim of ownership… Exclusive ownership…"

"Usually, sure," said the young man before he stated, "Though I'd consider it to be more of a means of affection in a relationship like ours…" After a few seconds of silent pause and taking in the pair's silent nods, the boy then said, "I'm not sure if it bothers you terribly but I wouldn't be objected against a later exchange."

"A later exchange?" repeated Miyabi, blinking her eyes as she tried to understand what he meant.

On the other hand, Yumi understood completely and smiled, "A later exchange!"

As the two processed what was happening, Murasaki rubbed at her own neck questioningly. She then hugged Bebeby and tilted one way, wondering if receiving such a mark would hurt, and then the opposite way, debating if it was even so pleasing to begin with. All of this continued while Jasmine looked on incredulously. It wasn't as though she had earthshaking news that would change the entire situation but, at the same time, what she had to say was certainly more important than an animated discussion on giving and receiving hickeys. She turned her head toward Oda to see if he agreed but found that he was holding his chin in wonder, perhaps to think about his general philosophy in the art and meaning behind kissing one's neck. After commenting to herself that she was just a bit more dead on the inside than when she first came in, Jasmine slowly raised her hand and asked, "Am I allowed to speak now…?"

"Please, hold on for a bit longer," commented Yumi as she observed the mark from different angles. She leaned forward, took a step back, stuck her head off to the side, and then twisted her neck around before giving herself a small nod. She then looked to the young man's face, "Does it hurt at all?"

"No," answered the boy. He then took a moment to think before snapping his fingers, "Well, the only downside is that there's a slight itch to the spot if my shirt's collar brushes against it. Only the collar though. If I touch it with a finger, I feel just fine."

Yumi then turned around and looked at Asuka, "What was your technique in doing this?"

The brunette jumped slightly at the question before settling down and offering, "To be honest, I don't recall when I even gave it to him."

"Ah," went Miyabi in a quiet tone, "then it could have been when she was asleep."

"You guys are very enraptured by this, I notice," commented Ayame while Katsuragi assumed a more relaxed posture on the floor, leaning onto her side and holding up her head.

"Romance and related activities have become a hot topic in the time you've been gone," came a casual retort from the blonde.

Upon hearing that, Ayame then turned around and said, "I think a hot topic is one thing… but this is a bit more… focused."

"Just let them do their thing. They'll find a status quo eventually."

In the meantime, the young man was staring off into space as Miyabi and Yumi were whispering between themselves about the hickey on his neck. As the theories went back and forth, he eventually commented in a quiet tone of voice, "Even as distasteful as I find serious news right now, I think we can put myself under a better microscope later."

Once Miyabi and Yumi snapped back into reality, they noted where their discussion ended and offered their apologies to Jasmine. Even still, they held their position by the boy and would occasionally glance down to his neck through the remainder of the exchange. In the meantime, the older woman glanced between everyone else in the room and asked, "Does anyone else wish to say anything first?"

As a devious sharpness overtook his eyes, the young man commented, "No, no. Honestly, I don't know what's taking you so long. Didn't you have something important to say?"

Clenching her teeth together in pure frustration for a moment, Jasmine narrowed her eyes on the boy and spoke frankly, "You're acting more than a bit spiteful toward me today."

"And there are reasons for that," said the young man. He held up one finger, "A recent argument with my neighbor brought up why I was so pissed at you and Hanzō to begin with. While I'm mostly past it, the part where I'm pissed at you, that is… there's still a bit of lingering salt in that wound." He then threw up his other finger and said with a prominent glare, "The more pressing thing, for the moment, is the fact that you waltzed in here uninvited, something an alarming amount of people have made a habit of." Before a misunderstanding could even take root, the young man quickly faced his partners, "Don't get me wrong, I make an exception for you guys," before he gestured to Jasmine and Oda, "But the grown-ass adults in the room should remember their lessons in respect much better than this. You have my number. Text me ahead of time."

Taking in some air and letting it out, the woman nodded her head, "I'm sorry," and waved her hand off to the side, "I'll call next time."

"I doubt that but I'll accept your apology anyway."

Ready to centralize all focus on the reason she came in the first place, Jasmine then gestured to Kagura and Naraku, who had assumed relaxed postures and sat themselves against the wall, "I assume you remember each other?"

Kagura was the first to nod and pointed her finger with a smile, "He's the guy who won't lift a finger to save the world."

The young man then pointed his finger with a blank expression, "She's the super-powerful little girl that could transform and turn me inside out… She also acted a bit like a brat the last time we met."

With a smile still on her face, Kagura stuck out her thumb and pointed it down and the young man did the same with an unchanged expression.

Oda cleared his throat, "Well then," before awkwardly clapping his hands together, "I hope you'll both get along better…" There was a long pause before he let out a breath and commented, "…You're both going to be neighbors." Upon seeing the young man's face twist in disagreement, Oda quickly stated, "Before you get angry from the lack of warning, this was decided in this very room about fifteen minutes before you arrived. She's staying in the city, she needs a place to stay, I respect her and have this building under my authority, I offered it and didn't immediately consider you and Sato, and I am sorry for the lattermost point."

The young man looked on with his mouth open, rewiring his brain to adjust to all of the new information. He then commented, "Will she be living right next door?"

"I figured that would be the easiest to organize."

Taking the answer in stride, the young man shrugged his shoulder, "To Hell with it. If I can handle Sato, I can handle a shinobi." Still, in order to vent out the lingering frustration, the young man then gave his hand a flap toward Oda, "Plus, if it means appeasing you after what happened a couple of days ago, I'll be fine. How was that situation?"

Oda's expression darkened considerably and some heat found its way into his voice, "I don't want to talk about it."

Before the young man could press his dig any further, Jasmine quickly interjected, "In all seriousness, leave him alone on that matter. It's a still-developing source of trouble and all hands are on deck in the public relations department." She then let out a sigh, "Not to mention the encounter with Tsao."

"Speaking of that," started the young man before he hushed his tone, "aside from that one dignitary guy… nobody died, right?"

"No," answered Jasmine solidly, which brought a sigh of relief from the boy, "but your brother did land a bunch of shinobi into emergency treatment until they could transform and heal their wounds again." She then spared a glance toward the larger shinobi, "Actually, Oda and one of our top fighters, Daidōji, were pretty badly roughed up. If Kagura didn't show up when she did, things could have ended a lot differently."

"We could have eliminated a serious threat," grumbled Oda as he then turned to the powerful little girl, "If Tsao was killed, who knows how many lives could be spared in the future."

"Tsao is a potential ally," started Kagura in a high voice, "If he isn't, I'll be in the same city and will be able to stop him before he inflicts any serious damage."

Before a retort could be thrown out, Jasmine harshly hissed, "We all agreed to save this discussion for another time," before gesturing to the young man, "I'm not sure if this is a discussion he'd care to hear."

Willing his face to remain unexpressive, the young man shook his head, "In all honesty, I really don't care. Do whatever you think is necessary with Tsao but, please, leave me out of it. I've already offered up all that I can on that matter with the information I gave to Oda way back when."

"Sorry," came Oda's quiet voice once he took a moment to breathe and calm down.

Returning the apology with a nod, the young man then turned to Jasmine, "So, did you guys only come over to talk about my brand-new neighbor or was there something else?"

Just as the woman was about to answer, Kagura then stood from her spot and beamed, "I had Jasmine ask the old infiltrator guy on the phone a few questions, he answered them, and now I understand what infiltrators are much better!" She then slumped over slightly, so much so that Naraku had to stand herself up and hold the girl's shoulder before she fell face first, "But then I had more questions but we haven't gotten in touch with him… I feel bad because he was actually really funny."

Once the girl was safe from tipping over, Naraku commented, "For clarification's sake, she's referring to your grandfather."

The young man nodded his head as Kagura finished by beaming over to him, "So, in remembering that we have our own super wonderful and ever kind infiltrator, I decided to come over and ask you!"

"Are those nice words synonymous for a guy who won't lift his finger to save the world?" asked the young man with a straight face.

Dropping the façade, Kagura simply looked up at him with annoyance, "Take a compliment from the girl who, as you admitted, could turn you inside out…"

"I like compliments and have no problem accepting them… unless it's an awkward situation, of course" said the young man before he crossed his arms, "But I don't like being buttered up before someone requests something of me. It feels dirty."

"What kind of dirty?" asked Katsuragi from the sidelines.

"The shut-your-face sort."

"Kinky."

Ikaruga was not at all pleased to be biting her tongue at that moment.

In the meantime, Kagura threw back her head and said, "Fine," before looking the young man in the eye, "Person who happens to be an infiltrator that I argued with… can you answer any random questions that I have going forward?"

"Depending on the timing of your questions and if I'm busy, sure." The boy then added, "Also, thank you for asking frankly."

Even while in her little girl form, the dark expression on Kagura's face was considerable, "Once I no longer have any random questions, I hope you die."

Still, the young man was not terribly bothered, "Well, that's uncalled for."

Jumping out of her mood, Kagura held up one finger and spoke loudly, "Question one! Are you human, like shinobi, or are infiltrators some sort science experiment gone wrong that were allowed to breed out in the wild!?"

The boy reeled back, "We're already getting into it? Ah… human."

"Ah, neat," went Kagura before she then held up another finger, "Question two! How do infiltrators do their mind-jumpy-correction-thingies on a tech-, teg-, tedical-, tech-, specifically… specific level…?"

Not acknowledging the bumbling toward the end of the girl's question, the young man gave his chin a rub in thought before giving a hesitant shrug, "Would you be satisfied if I told you that it's hard to word and explain and that it's just, more or less, like having a sixth sense?"

Understanding where the boy was coming from, especially with how hard it was to describe and instruct shinobi transformations, Kagura gave a few slow nods before rolling her hand around, "Could you give it a try…?"

Giving his lip a small bit of chewing, the young man considered his words for a moment before starting to slowly say, "Well… to use some comparisons… think of the hand as a sort of… conduit for the human psyche… Now, with your fingers acting as the sort of bridge to the other person's mind-," before he was cut off.

"Bored now," said Kagura before she held up a third finger, "Question three! Has anyone ever tried a correction-thing-jig process on a Yōma?"

A bit peeved at having been cut off, especially since he was actually about to get somewhere, the young man flatly said, "I don't see how that would, though I've never heard about anyone daring to try. So, to answer your question, probably not."

"Alrighty-roo," came a cheerful quip from Kagura before she spun on her heel and made for the front door, "I have no more questions right now. I'm going to check out my room!"

After giving the young man an appreciative bow, Naraku went after her charge before Oda let out a long breath and said, "I should probably point her towards which room is actually hers," before also giving chase.

The young man stared after the three silently, waited until they left the room, and quickly narrated aloud, "There goes a few of the most powerful shinobi in existence… By God, we are so totally saved when Shin comes around…"

"They're professional fighters, not conversationalists," commented Jasmine.

"And how wonderfully they uphold themselves as fighters…" lamented the young man before he blinked a few times and looked up to the woman, "You know, I think that is the first time you guys have made a sudden arrival and the news you had to give was more underwhelming than a different random thing that was discussed."

Jasmine blinked at him in confusion, "Your new neighbor is the most powerful shinobi in all existence, someone who is reincarnated once every one hundred years to slay the most vicious creatures in all the world and is pretty much destined to slay Shin when he comes… and she will be coming over at random times going forward. What could be more pressing to you than that?"

The young man eased a hand in her direction, "Before I answer, I just want to clarify by saying that I'm no longer surprised by random visits. I mean, look at today for an example of how I'm handling this sort of stuff now."

"Fair point."

"As for what's more overwhelming," answered the young man before he gestured over to Hibari, "I accepted the position of teacher when I myself am still trying to map how I wound up in my own romantic situation."

The addressed girl jumped onto her feet, "Oh!" and asked with a salute, "When do we start? I'm ready any time!"

Not wanting to see how the following conversation was going to play out, Jasmine said, "I'll get in contact with you before we leave for your grandfather's next week," and took her leave.

Unwilling to get sidetracked so easily, the young man raised his hands toward her to wind her down, "Easy there, sailor… we start tomorrow. I need time to think of lessons…" He then closed his eyes and listed out all of the other things that needed doing, "Not to mention I'm going to get ahead on homework to make some time, study up on some of the material for the disentanglement, mentally brace for the coming correction…" Upon opening his eyes and sensing a growing presence, the young man turned his head left and right to find that Miyabi and Yumi were still looking at him expectantly. After uttering a prayer for the amount of energy that he had in him, the boy then added, "Not to mention whatever these two have in mind."

"Nothing extreme tonight," commented Yumi before she nodded, "Just a development of hickey techniques."

"Though a small matter," added Miyabi, "we should refine ourselves at any given opportunity."

Covering her nose, Murasaki uttered, "Nymphos…" into the back of Bebeby's head and settled herself further back into the couch while Ikaruga struggled to hold her words in, only held back by a few foreboding glances from Katsuragi.
