Chapter 71: Nature's Fury

*****Previously In Krinos's Forest*****

"Mother of Demeter, Krinos," Lena swore, looking at the carnage around her. "You did all this!"

"Just goes to show," Krinos crosses his arms. "Don't mess with my forest, cause my forest will fight back."

"Nature certainly does know how to bring the pain," Lena giggled.

They rushed back into the forest. The sirens were continuing the fight. Silas rose his hands in the air, causing streams of pouring rain to shoot out of the sky. The rain shot down agents like bullets.

"Silas, duck," Iris shouted.

The siren of storm hit the ground as rocks started flying over his head. The rocks swirled around her, then threw themselves at the GIW. Some with enough force to go right through their chests. In another part of the forest, Aquata and Fiara were together.

"Let no siren show these monsters mercy," Aquata glared.

"Fire and water, a powerful combo of worked right," Fiara smirked.

Aquata made water swirl high up in the air. It was almost like an airborne whirlpool. Fiara followed with fire spinning just above the ground. Her flames surrounded a large group of agents. Now, most think water and fire cancel each other out. They've never seen a mixture of magical elements.

The two sirens made their elements swirl down, like two opposite spirals. It became a tornado of fire and water. The agents were lifted into the air, and blue energy struck them.

"The reason why siren, even those of opposite elements, work well together," Aquata evilly grinned.

"The trust, the love, the family soul, it all keep us strong and in perfect sync," Fiara gave a creepy smile.

"And the fusion of fire and water is no different," the two opposites maniacally cackled.

*****Present Time*****

"Water and fire, who would have thought," Krinos chuckled.

"Fiara and Aquata, apparently," Lena giggled. "Just be lucky that it wasn't fire and ice. That really brings destruction."

"Can that not happen, then," Krinos asked. "My forest has taken enough of a beating already."

"Don't blame us, blame the psychos that wouldn't know the difference between a troll and a fairy," Lena crossed her arms.

"Who said I was blaming you," Krinos raised an eyebrow.

"You confuse me so much," Lena shook her head.

"So our friends keep saying," Krinos says. "They also say that my only consistent thing about me is my hatred of humans and my tendency to burst into 'You Can't Catch Me."

"Well, they aren't wrong," Lena smirked.

She flew away, laughing, before Krinos could get another word in.

"That girl is gonna be the death of me, one day," he facepalmed. "And that says something considering i'm immortal."

Silas, once again, was bringing in a storm. He seemed to darken the skies wherever he flew. The dark clouds matched his silver and black blended feathers. His latest siren scream, consisting of storm cloud sound waves, sent half a dozen agents into the trees. Iris landed next to him.

"You really love sending your enemies flying, don't you," she giggled.

"I may not be the siren of the wind but what can I say, I know how to bring the breeze," Silas smirked. "Besides, who wouldn't want to send these nutjobs into the stratosphere."

"It is pretty fun," Iris admitted.

She waved her arm up, and a part of the ground became like a catapult. It sent two agents off to who knows where after it launched them.

"If Nyx was here, she'd probably joke about wishing in those two like they were shooting stars," said a male voice above them.

In front of the storm and earth sirens landed Solace, siren of the day. Since his element was of the day and Nyx had been of the night, the two of them had been rather close. It was like with Fiara and Aquata, opposites attract. Solace and Nyx were the closest pair of brother and sister the Isle of Sirens had ever saw.

When she had been killed, Solace had been almost completely destroyed. Even though magic of the night could be considered dark, Nyx herself was a sweetheart. When she took her duties as the siren of the night, she made sure the stars were always shining bright, that the nocturnal animals were safe, and that the moon was always at its brightest. Let's just say that the sun has never shined as brightly as it used to since that day.

"We didn't know you were here, Solace," Silas said.

"It was the Guys In White that took Nyx away," Solace sneered. "I'll be a troll's father before I pass up the chance to wipe them out."

And to prove his point, he blasted the nearest agent with a beam of sunlight. He then took off.

"The siren of the day is in the house," Iris says, impressed, a little scared, and with Silas nodding in agreement.

Lena stepped toward a group of agents that had their back to her. They did not hear her land behind them. They certainly noticed her when she snapped her fingers and caused vines to shoot out and hang them upside-down by their ankles. They were so startled that their guns were now on the ground.

"And here I thought that you'd be smarter than to try to sneak up on the siren of nature while in a forest," she taunted. "Guess I was wrong."

She eyed the guns in the ground. She tapped her foot, making roots sprout around them. The roots twisted themselves around the guns, crushing them to pieces.

"Let us down, freak," one of the agents ordered.

"What makes you think you have a say in what I do," Lena raised an eyebrow. "Last time I checked, psychotic conspiracy theorists have zero control of us mystics."

"You're just a monster," another agent sneered. "You do as we say because you're less than dirt that should be grateful if we even let you be slaves."

"As if," Lena rolled her eyes. "Go rant your conspiracy theories to someone that cares."

With a flick of her hand, she sent all the agents hurdling through the air. As if out of a cannon.

"And they're going... going... gone," Lena cheered.

"You never get tired of seeing that," Aquata says, staring at the screaming agents as they hurdled overhead.

"No, we do not," Aaron agreed.

Their eyes seemed to flash as they then returned their attention to the battle at hand. Aquata flew up, going over a line of agent. As she flew over their heads, she dropped large streams of water onto them. Both the agents and the ground around their feet were soaking wet.

"You're up, Aaron," she called.

"You guys really need to chill out," Aaron said.

The siren of ice gently floated in front of the line of agents. After making a few small movements with his hands, he blew at the GIW agents. White and blue icy mist came out of his mouth, flowing over the area he aimed at. Slowly, and a little painfully, the agents all started to freeze over because of the water on them. While they weren't completely frozen, they couldn't move. Some were frozen to trees, others back to back with each other, and some just straight to the ground and were like partially covered statues.

"Chill out, really," Aquata said, raising an eyebrow. "You had to go there?"

"Well excuse me, but there are only so many different ice puns out there," Aaron crossed his arms. "Don't make me give you the cold shoulder."

Aquata groaned. "One of the world's most baffling mysteries is why I put up with you."

Krinos had just knocked out three more agents, having used a few trees to punch them on their heads. He was getting really frustrated at this point. He had no idea how many more agents there were. They seemed never ending. Part of him was thinking robots or clones and that was why there were so many. But he did magic, not science, so how would he know.

"Alright Krinos," he thought to himself. "If these guys are gonna keep coming, then give them something that will make them regret it."

He sensed more of the army approaching. And soon, there were even more guns pointed at him.

"Time for the D4," Krinos smirked.

As the anti-magic blasts started heading his way, he flipped out of the way. The trees and plants soon made him almost invisible to the naked eye. He blended in so well that you could be looking right at him and still not see the lord of nature.

"Nature is my home turf," his voice echoed around the area, from tree to tree. "You don't really think you can beat the lord of nature in his own home, do you?"

"You're no lord," one agent yelled. "You're nothing."

"You're just a piece of scum," another agreed.

"Well, this piece of 'scum' is about to show you just how strong 'flower power' can really be," Krinos said.

His glowing green eyes could be seen in the trees. But the swirling of leaves and flower petals made it impossible for the agents to get a good aim at him.

"Nature's enchantment," Krinos cast. "Dandelion quartet."

The leaves and petals all seemed to become streams, like airborne curvy lanes of a highway. Roots and vines also grew. They all collected into four areas. And right before their eyes, four botanical animals were created. They were all lions. Their bodies were made from wood with sharp claws on their front and rear paws. On top of each leg, and at the tip of their tails, were sharp ended yellow wood swirls. They also had lines of bright and dark green leaves running down their backs. Their names were all made from giant blood red petals, like a blood rose that's just bloomed.

"Say yellow to the D4," Krinos said, appearing in the middle of the quartet. "It's short for Dandelion Four."

The agents were all terrified of the floral beasts. They backed away as the lions growled at them. The nature lord couldn't help but smirk at the terror in their eyes.

"Nature is mine to command," Krinos says. "All my life, I've protected it, I've nurtured it, I've done all I can to heal it from the pollution you humans cause. I don't just use it like some tool, I appreciate every bit of power that nature gives me. To me, nature is life. And it turn for the love I give it, it gives me more power in return. Including my botanical animals."

His smirk became more evil-like. He looked at his four nature made floral lions.

"Alright boys," he said to the four lions. "It's time to feast."
