Ash, Kukui, Burnett, and Lei had moved their things into spare rooms at Lusamine's mansion, while their house was being rebuilt. Ash had woken up early to make some calls.

In Pallet Town

"Hold on, I'm coming." Delila said rushing to the phone. They never got reservations this early.

"Pallet Town Plate, this is Delila." Delila said

"Hi Mom." Ash's voice was heard over the receiver.

Delila was speechless, she had heard what had happened, but hearing her own sons voice again was truly a miracle.

"Ash, how are you?" Delila said through tears.

"I'm good, got my memories back yesterday." Ash said with a smile.

"And Pikachu, how is he doing?" Delila asked choking up.

"Pika!" Pikachu said excitedly.

"I'm staying in Alola for a bit, just in case, but I promise I'll come visit as soon as I can." Ash said.

"I look forward to it honey. Say hi to Litty for me." Delila said. Her son was okay, and soon he'd be back where he was needed.

Vermillion City

"Cerise Labratory, how can I help you." Professor Cerise said.

"Hey Professor, how have things been?" Ash asked.

"Ash! You're okay!" Professor Cerise exclaimed.

"Yeah, are Goh and Chloe around?" Ash asked.

"They actually are out in Hoenn right now, how are you feeling?" Professor Cerise inquired.

"I'm doing alright, I have to be here in Alola a few more days, just in case. After that I'll be heading back." Ash said happily.

"Your research position, and new Rotom Phone will be here waiting for you." Professor Cerise said happily.

Back at the mansion

"Oh Ash…" Mallow said eerily.

"We need to go over something with you." Lana said angrily.

"You'll have to forgive us now, but you'll thank us later." Lillie said, as the three cornered him.

A few minutes later

"This is so uncomfortable!" Ash said fidgeting with the bra.

"You don't have a choice anymore, you need to wear one." Mallow said. "We all do, you'll get used to the feel."

"It wasn't exactly like I chose to take those pills." Ash complained. "Besides it feels like it's cutting off air supply."

"Stop messing with it Ash! That's inappropriate!" Lillie said blushing. "And none of chose to have to need them either."

"Stupid!" Lana said angrily.

"Okay, while I normally agree with that, why'd you call him that?" Mallow asked.

"He's a boy! Why did he get them before me!" Lana complained.

"I'm going to go see how the research is going." Ash said, running away.

"It appears that four Ultra Wormholes opened up during the Manalo Festival." Wicke said, looking at a screen. "One on each island."

"We were in the one on Poni Island, so that leaves three that Serena might have gone through." Kiawe said.

"The first one, is on MeleMele island, sort of." Burnett said pulling up a 3D map. "It appeared a few miles off coast."

"The second one, is an unlikely option, having appeared in the center of Wela Volcano." Faba said.

"Then there is the one that appeared on UlaUla island. In a place called Po Town." Rotom dex explained.

"I can check out the one at Wela Volcano, me and my fire types can handle the heat." Kiawe said.

"Primarina and I can check the one in the ocean, see if there are any signals." Lana piped in.

"Then I'll check the one in Po Town." Ash said determined as ever.

North West UlaUla Island

"So this is Po Town?" Ash asked looking up at the giant wall in front of him.

"Yo, what's it to ya!" A team Skull grunt said walking towards him.

"Think you're allowed in just because you found it, well think again." A female grunt said. "We challenge you to a battle!"

"Alright you're on! Pikachu, Marshtomp let's go!"

"Come on out Golbat!"

"You're up Salazzle!"

"Pikachu use quick attack, and Marshtomp you use Mud Shot!"

"Golbat use Bite!"

"Salazzle use Fire Lash!"

The four Pokémon collided, hearing the commotion Guzma made his way towards the front.

"Alright Pikachu use Thunderbolt! Marshtomp use Whirlpool!

"Golbat use Supersonic!"

"Salazzle use Sludge Bomb!"

"Enough you two!" Guzma shouted. "Pay some respect, that's the champion!"

"Ah Mr Guzma, we didn't know, please forgive us." The two grunts said before running off.

"Sorry bout that, we been trying to turn over a new leaf, hope they didn't cause any trouble." Guzma said leading Ash through.

"It's fine, how did you know it was me though?" Ash asked.

"That Aether boy, Gladion. He's been hanging out here, gave me the run down on what's been happening." Guzma said.

"Gladion's here!" Ash exclaimed.

"Not right now, he's off being him. He has been a big help on turning us straight though." Guzma sighed. "Ever since the Manalo Conference, we've been a new better Team Skull, all cus of my fight against you."

"That's great to hear, I actually came here because of Manalo, the day, not the conference." Ash said.

"I remember that day, it got really dark, and a strange portal opened up, we boarded up the place just in case." Guzma said stopping in front of a house. "This is it actually."

"Mind if I get some readings, maybe check inside?" Ash asked.

"Knock yourself out. Lemme help you with the boards. Golisopod, tear em off." Guzma said calmly as Golisopod went to work.

Ash looked inside of the building, getting readings in the process.

"Hey Guzma was anyone in here that day?" Ash asked.

"Not that I know of. Everyone was accounted for, why?" Guzma pondered.

"I had a friend that we think went missing that day, and we think they might have went through the portals." Ash said.

"You got a photo of em, I can ask around to the others, see if anything comes up." Guzma said.

"I'll send one to Gladion, once I get a chance. I don't have a spare photo on me right now." Ash apologized.

"Look, I'm sorry we can't be of much help yet, but if we see anyone a bit out of place head this way, I'll be sure to stop and ask em about you." Guzma said. "And next time we meet, once you found em. I want a rematch!" Guzma said holding up his arm.

"Guzma is that a?" Ash said shocked.

"A Z-Ring, yep. Got Nanu to finally let me try for one. No crystals yet, but they'll come, I'm sure of it." Guzma said happily.

"I believe in you. You're a tough trainer, and a great leader by the looks of it." Ash said.

The other groups found no signs either, but Ash knew he had to return to Kanto, at least for now. He would have to keep looking for Serena in other ways.

Somewhere

"That's it! Come and get me!" Serena taunted to the oncoming force. "I've been running for months, but no more! This time I'm fighting you." Serena said running forward, punching her pursuer. "I am no longer your prey!" She yelled as her opponent fled.
