Hello, lovelies!
I am here today to gather your opinion. As you know, from the last notice I posted a few days ago, WUAS, was a prewritten story. However, do to issues arising during editing, things did not go as planned, and I stepped back to do a rewrite.
Now, I am happy to inform you all I have spent a lot of my time on this. I took it back to my original plan and original plot, meaning there are alot of differences. The first chapter is perhaps the only chapter that is anywhere close to similar to what you have all read. The rest is all new and, in my opinion, improved.
However, WUAS, at this point in time, is still incomplete, but I do have 175 chapters written as of thirty minutes prior to writing this very sentence. All chapters are averaging 100 - 110 words. I do have a couple that exceed that by maybe 10 or 15 words, but, hey, sometimes the scene calls for it.
With that being said, I wanted to do a poll. I'm going to give you all until Monday to tell me how you want this story. Here are your options:
Option A: Finish the damn thing before you tease us with it!
or
Option B: No, you stupid idiot, we want it now!
If you choose Option A, I will do my best to have it ready by the first of April, but I can't make promises. I have four kids that are legit photo copies of myself, which means they are absolutely hellacious, so it depends on them a lot of the time when and how often I get to write.
Now, if you choose Option B, well... it speaks for itself. I'll start posting updates after Monday, but here's the deal: It will be posted under a new title. I repeat, IT WILL BE POSTED UNDER A NEWTITLE. So, the new chapters will not be posted here. I will be uploading under the title Hopes and Opportunities. So, if you can't find it immediately, go to my profile. It will be there, if this is the option you choose. Also, we will be sticking to a schedule this time. You will get two updates every week. I will post five chapters (just like last time) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This is really all up to you! I'm fine either route you guys decide, but I have been driving myself a little crazy on how to do this, especially since it hasn't been on hiatus even a week. My biggest fear with just starting back up was you all not thinking I took enough time in polishing the story given the train wreck last time, and if that's how you feel, I totally understand. I'll wait until it's finished, go through another editing round, and then post. However, I can say it is going much better, and I'm extremely proud of it. What I have at this point in time, is what I originally wanted it to be. But - but - it is a slow burn. A slow burn, for this particular story, worked better than a rushed love, but you get so much more feeling out of this rendition than the previous.
Just let me know in the reviews, and whichever option has the most votes, then that's what we'll do!
