Danny, Frances, and Helen were poring over Chris' computer and Helen was typing.
"We have to find out how Chris' transporter works." Helen said.
"Try typing in a different password." Danny said.
"I know! Maybe the password Chris used was "Sonic"!" Frances said.
"Let's see..." Helen said.
"Please work!" Danny said and Helen stopped typing
"I think we better face facts. We'll never log into Chris' system." she said.
"Man, Chris made it impossible for anybody to follow him to Sonic's world!" Danny said.
"He didn't want us to take the risk."
"It'd be worth the risk to see Sonic and the others again." Frances said.
"I wish Chris had talked to us before we left so we could decide for ourselves." Danny said.
A photo of Chris, Sonic, Tails, and Amy rested on the desk. There was a new glass frame for it.
"I'm sure Chris is having a blast in Sonic's world right now." Helen said.
"I wonder why Chris hasn't tried to contact us yet?"
"I bet he's having so much fun that he just forgot." Frances said.
"Probably." Helen said.
Soon the three of them split up.
"Thanks for the help, guys. Try not to worry." Helen said.
"Bye, Helen." Danny and Frances said and they left.
Helen rolled off on her own toward the city.
"Chris, I hope you're all right..." she said to herself. "I miss you." she said out loud.
On the Blue Typhoon Cream and Cosmo were on the bridge watching as Chris searched the galaxy for any signs of Chaos Emeralds.
"It doesn't look like there are any Chaos Emeralds around here." Cosmo said.
"Chris, are you sure the scanner is working okay?" Amy asked.
"Yeah, I am. But there's a lot of interference in this part of the galaxy." Chris said.
"Why is that?"
"It looks like this entire region of space has been wiped by some kind of gravitational force." he said and continued his search.
"Do you think the Metarex are responsible for this?" Cream asked.
"Probably are. If the warping continues at this rate, it'll soon spread across the whole galaxy and beyond."
"First the Metarex go around stealing Planet Eggs, then now they're bending all of outer space out of shape. Those creeps!" Amy said.
"Look, the sensors spotted something!" Cream said.
"Those Metarex have to be stopped once and for all! Uh... Huh?" Amy said and looked at the radar to see an object approaching the ship. "I'm detecting a Chaos Emerald! Tails!"
"I see it! Ready to intercept!" Tails said.
"Hey, look! Something's coming towards us!" Chris said and they saw what they think is a meteor up ahead. "It's a small asteroid."
"The Chaos Emerald is inside the asteroid." Amy said.
"I'll pull it in." Tails said.
In space a pair of claws extended out of the runway of the Typhoon and reached toward the meteor. It grabbed the meteor, which started to move.
Back on the Blue Typhoon bridge.
"Weird-looking asteroid." Chris said.
"Hey, it's trying to move away!" Cream said.
"That's no asteroid, you guys! That's a spaceship!" Tails said.
"Whoa..." Sonic said.
Later they were at Hangar speaking with three small aliens, who were inside the spaceship. They came in orange, green, and blue.
"We were afraid that you were going to crush our ship." Orange alien said.
"I'm really, sorry, but we thought your ship was an asteroid!" Tails said.
"Our ship is a highly-advanced space vehicle with ion propulsion engines and a hyperdrive!" Blue alien said hands on hips.
The other two aliens nodded.
"So what brought you to this part of the galaxy?" Chris said.
"Our world is sick. We must find somebody who can heal it. I'm Lue, the ship's captain." Orange alien said.
"My name is Lylem." Green alien said.
"And I am Momo." Blue alien said.
"It's nice to meet you. You didn't happen to find a Chaos Emerald during your trip, did you?" Chris said.
"What's a Chaos Emerald?"
Sonic looked at them thinking.
Tails held up his hands to form the approximate size of a Chaos Emerald.
"It's a really beautiful gems about this size, and it glows sometimes." he said and they looked at each other in confusion before Lue held up the cyan Chaos Emerald.
"Are you talking about this?" Lue asked.
"It's the Chaos Emerald!" Cream said.
"They did find it!" Cosmo said.
"Thanks a lot!" Tails said and tried to take it, but Lue backed away. "What's the matter?"
"We didn't say that you could have it." Lue asked.
The Typhoon crew were surprised.
"We spotted this gem during our trip, and we thought it looked beautiful." Lylem said.
"So we picked it up and decided to keep it!" Momo said and Knuckles lunged forward.
"That's our Emerald! Hand it over!" Knuckles said and chased the Marmolims around the hangar.
'Technically Sonic's but still ours.' he thought.
"No! You can't have it!" Lylem said.
"We found it! It belongs to us!" Momo said.
"I want that Chaos Emerald now!" Knuckles said restrained by Chris and Tails.
"Whoa, Knuckles!" Tails said.
"You are just making it worse." Chris said.
"Let's try to work it out!" Cream said.
"Some of us are civilized around here." Amy said.
"Fine! Then you get the Emerald!" Knuckles said.
"That Emerald's important. We really need it to save the galaxy." Sonic said to the Marmolims.
"I'm sorry, but we like this gem." Lue said.
"We don't want to share it." Lylem said.
Sonic extended his hand to them.
"Please, give it to me." he said.
"Finders keepers!" Lue, Lylem and Momo said and Sonic fell over.
"This gem is more beautiful than anything we've ever seen before." Lylem said.
All three of them beam.
"We're going to take it home!" Momo said.
"We can't wait to show it to our friends." Lue said.
Sonic tapped his finger on the floor impatiently.
"What'll we do now?" Chris asked.
Later, everyone was on the bridge, including the Marmolims.
"Why do we have to take them home?" Amy asked.
"They said that they'll give us the Chaos Emerald if we do." Chris said.
Momo held up a few coins.
"Planet Marmolim is famous for fortunetelling. We'll also read your fortune. Work, health, money, love..." Momo said.
Amy blushed.
"Love?" she said.
"That's our specialty!"
Amy typed in a few coordinates, then excitedly points ahead.
"Chris! Tails! We're leaving for Planet Marmolim immediately!" she said.
"Roger..." Tails said.
Later the Typhoon has landed on Marmolim. The Marmolim on the planet communicate with Lue, Lylem, and Momo.
"Hey, everybody! They're back! We're so glad you're okay! We were afraid that we'd never see you again!" Marmolim said.
"I'm sorry if we worried you." Lylem said.
Lue held up the Chaos Emerald.
"We're giving you this to thank you for the ride." Lue said.
Sonic placed his hand on the Emerald.
"It's about time." Knuckles said.
"Thanks; we really appreciate it." Chris said.
Amy rushes up to Momo.
"So where can we find this love spell you told me about?" she asked.
"Right this way, please!" Momo said.
"Okay! Come on, Sonic!" she said and grabbed Sonic's arm and ran off with him.
He tossed the Emerald to Knuckles.
"Amy! Wait!" Cream said.
"Boy, is she hopeless." Chris said shaking his head.
Meanwhile Amy rushed Sonic toward the matchmaking hut.
"Before we try out that love spell, let's go visit a fortuneteller!" Amy said and stormed inside, and was soon seated with a Marmolim with a crystal ball. "Well? Do we have a future together?" she asked then blinked expectantly, and Sonic yawned.
'I already have someone I love. But she's not here.' he thought and saw the fun they had after Chuck took him in and he joined the Freedom Fighters. 'When I get home I'll see her and be able to tell her I love her.'
At Marmolim Chris and Knuckles followed Lylem through the marketplace.
"They sell magic here?" Knuckles said.
"Visitors used to come here from all over the galaxy to find out their fortunes or buy magic charms 'til our planet started getting sick." Lylem said.
"Hm... " Chris said and blushed. "What do they sell at that stall?" he asked and they stopped at one of the stalls.
"They have charms and potions that can cure anything! You can find headache amulets, hiccup remedies, and even spells that fight athlete's foot." Lylem said.
Chris examined one of the charms.
"Chris, you have a problem with athlete's foot?" Knuckles asked.
Chris panicked.
"No!" he said.
Elsewhere, Cosmo, Tails, Cream, and Cheese followed Lue toward the palace.
"I'm not sure about this..." Tails said.
"I've never had anybody tell me my fortune before!" Cream said and they stopped.
"You can ask him any questions you want about your future." Lue said.
"How exciting! What do you think we should ask him about, Cheese?" Cream asked.
"Chao!" Cheese said.
"Something's wrong here... Their planet is sick, but they don't seem to care." Cosmo said and they neared the palace.
The Marmolim leader, named Ghana, was standing outside leaning on a cane.
"Lue!" Ghana said.
"Greetings, Ghana!" Lue said.
At the palace everyone was seated at the table.
"The coins are clear. They predict that you will part with a large sum of money." Ghana said.
"Do they say how much?" Lue asked.
"Yes. Ten fleebos, which is exactly what you owe me for this prediction."
"That's the same prediction as last time I came here!"
The other Marmolim laughed and Cosmo stood up, concerned.
"This is no time for jokes!" she said.
Ghana continued to shuffle his coins.
"We have the power to look into the future, but we cannot change it. Our fate is already decided. What will be, will be..." he said.
"But..."
He held up a coin.
"I see you are always rushing into action, but your haste is going to cause great sorrow to those who are closest to you. These magic coins predict it." he said and held up another coin and flipped it over, revealing a skull.
Cosmo appeared spooked and started to walk away.
"Wait, Cosmo!" Tails aid then got up and ran after her.
"Will she be okay?" Cream asked.
"Her future is too cloudy to predict with any certainty. But I do see romance in her future. Strange; plants and animals don't usually get along.
Cream blinked in surprise.
Meanwhile Cosmo walked alone through the marketplace and Tails caught up to her.
"Hey, slow down, Cosmo! Don't let that fortuneteller upset ya. After all, nobody can really predict what'll really happen in the future." he said and she stopped.
"I've never felt so helpless in my entire life. I know I don't want to harm you or our friends, but that fortuneteller says I'm destined to." she said.
"Cosmo..."
"It can't be true!" she said stressed out.
"It'll be okay." he said and she ran off. "Wait!" he said and ran away to.
At a cliff Momo took Amy and Sonic to a pair of rocks atop the cliff.
"This is called Romance Rock." Momo said.
"I love this place!" said excited.
"If you want the love spell to join you both forever, first you'll have to break this rock."
"Joined forever?!" she said and hugged Sonic. "Oh Sonic, I know we can break it! I know it!" she said and raised her hammer. "Sonic and I will never be apart again! Here goes!"
As Amy smashed her rock, Sonic ran off.
"Where's he going?" she said.
At a fortunetelling hut.
"Can you see anything?" Knuckles asked.
The Marmolim fortuneteller in the hut looked into the crystal ball.
"Well... according to this crystal ball, you are about to do something very foolish." the fortuneteller said and Knuckles covered his mouth.
"Something foolish? Is there anything I can do to stop myself?" he asked.
"There's only one thing." he said and held up a towel. "Put this magic cloth on your head and run through town clucking like a chicken."
"I'll try it!" he said, took the towel and shook the Marmolim's hand.
"Thanks. I hate making a fool of myself."
"That sounds pretty foolish to me." Chris said.
"Once again, Ghana's prediction will come true." Lylem said.
Later the group was now seated at a roadside cafe when Sonic ran past them.
"That was Sonic." Chris said.
"Come back, Sonic!" someone said and they turned to see Amy running after him covered in charms. "Where are you going? We broke Romance Rock, but we still have to go visit the Lake of Love and Matchmaker's Mountain." she as she passed them.
"Amy would probably have better luck if she didn't push so hard."
"It appears you don't have anybody to bring to Romance Rock." Lylem said.
"Uh... I sort of do, but she's back on my planet."
"I can tell you really like her a lot." she said. "So what's her name, huh?"
"Hey..."
"Hey, Chris!" someone said as Cream and Tails ran up to him.
"Hey, what happened to Cosmo? I thought she went with you."
Cream and Tails looked at each other sadly.
"Chao chao chao chao..." Cheese said.
Chris sighed.
"Is something wrong?"
Meanwhile Cosmo stood alone a cliff.
"I want to save the galaxy from the Metarex, and help my new friends. But it seems like I am only going to make things worse for everybody." she said to herself.
The sky changed color to a much darker hue, but it wasn't night.
"There you are, Cosmo! I'm glad you're okay. We were all worried about you." someone said so she looked over to see Cream and Cheese.
Cosmo embraced Cheese.
"Hi, Cheese." she said and they watched the sky together while holding Cheese between them. "Thanks for checking up on me, Cream. You and Cheese are good friends."
"After you left, that fortuneteller said that most plant and animal species don't get along as well as we do. I wonder why they find it hard to make friends." Cream said.
"I guess because we're so different from each other." Cosmo said and saw the jungle planet and Secco. "In all the galaxy, it's hard to find different kinds of beings getting along together. That's why Sonic and the rest of you are special, because you can make friends with almost anybody."
"If a friendship like ours is rare, that makes it extra special!" Cream said. "Especially Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. They've been sticking together for years."
"Chao!" Cheese said.
"I feel the same way as you both do!" Cosmo said.
At the marketplace Amy continued searching for Sonic.
"Sonic! Sonic! Sonic!" Amy said.
"Maybe this means Sonic doesn't like you so much." Momo said.
"That isn't true! Whenever I get into trouble, Sonic always come running to save me. I'll never forget when we both got back from Chris' world. Sonic picked a flower for me! He said, "This is for you, Amy." Oh, Sonic!
"Amy!" someone said.
Cosmo and Cream ran up to her.
"Cosmo, aren't you curious if there's romance in your future?" Amy asked.
"I guess so." Cosmo said.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go! You'll love it, Cosmo!" Amy said then took their hands and ran off with them.
Momo followed. Cosmo and Cream smiled at each other.
Later, a Momolim read their fortunes.
"Soon your heart will belong to another." Marmolim said puzzling Cream. "You will be struck... lovestruck!"
Soon, they headed out. Later, they staled at the top of some stairs.
"Cosmo, what's going on between you and Tails?" Amy asked.
"I don't know what you mean." Cosmo said.
Amy smirked.
"Well, it's obvious you and Tails really like each other."
"Really, Amy..." Cosmo said and blushed. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Amy crossed her arms and looked away.
"You're lying." she said.
"That isn't true, Amy! I'm sure Tails couldn't possibly be interested in me. I have a feeling he finds me annoying."
"If Tails doesn't like you, then why are you two always together?" Cream asked.
"Chao chao! Chao chao!" Cheese said.
"Forget about Tails and me. How are things going with you and Sonic?" Cosmo said.
Amy broke into a cold sweat and fell on her hands and knees.
"What's the matter?" Cream asked.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up."
Amy looked up, a malicious look on her face then laughed darkly.
"Everything will turn out okay, because Momo gave me a magical spell so that I can make Sonic mine forever." she said and Momo gave her a thumbs-up. "I'll catch Sonic in a trap, and his heart will be burned with love!"
A fiery aura surrounded her as she laughed again.
Later, the Marmolims lay down sandbags and torches.
On the Blue Typhoon Engine room Chris was seated in the seat Knuckles usually occupies. Sonic was sitting on the floor behind him with several charms.
"What's all that stuff, Sonic?" Chris asked.
Sonic stood up.
"The Marmolims gave me these charms to protect me when I try to save their world." he said.
"I guess it can't hurt." Chris said and turned back to the holo-screen. "There's some kind of disease growing underground where the Planet Egg was. You have to destroy it. The only problem is there's a lot of water in that area."
"Water? Are you kidding?" Sonic said and searched for a certain charm. "Let's see..." he said and located a certain ring. "The Marmolim who gave me this charm told me it works against water." he said and slipped the charm onto his left arm.
Chris chuckled.
On Marmolim the Sonic Driver raised out of the Typhoon.
On the Bridge.
"Route all energy to the Sonic Power Cannon!" Tails said.
In the Engine room Knuckles stretched forth his hands to the Master Emerald.
"Load the cannon and get ready to fire at my command!" Tails said.
"Here we go!" Knuckles said.
On the Bridge.
"Proceed with takeoff!" Tails said.
At Marmolim the Typhoon lifted off the ground.
Back on the Bridge.
"Adjust cannon angle." Tails said.
At Marmolim the Sonic Driver lowered a little to align with the line of torched that have been set up. Sonic waited on the spin platform.
"Sonic, get set for launch!" Tails said and he started his spin.
Everyone watched from inside the barricade of sandbags.
On the Bridge.
"Sonic Power Cannon, fire!" Tails said.
At Marmolim the Sonic Driver fired Sonic into the earth ahead.
His speed immediately blew out all the torches. He quickly descended into the ground.
In the Engine room Chris saw that Sonic had destroyed the cancer cell in the planet.
"Sonic did it!" he said.
At Marmolim water gushed out of the ground in giant jets and covered the parched ground.
"I think it worked!" Cosmo said.
"Sonic saved the planet!" Amy said.
"Thank you, Sonic!" Marmolims said carrying Sonic by the water.
"I thought this charm was gonna keep me dry, but if you ask me, it's all wet!" Sonic said and was launched from the earth by a water jet. "Whoa! Somebody shut off the faucet!"
Later, everyone but Tails and Cosmo were celebrating. Cosmo watched from a cliff.
"What's wrong, Cosmo? Why are you here by yourself?" someone asked.
Cosmo turned to see Tails there.
"Hi, Tails. The Marmolims are really happy their planet was saved. You must be pleased too." she said.
"I feel lucky to be working with such terrific teammates - especially with you." he said.
Cosmo blushed.
"I-I didn't do anything."
"You're wrong, Cosmo. You found us to help you stop the Metarex. Don't ever forget that. You're not sorry you found us, are ya?"
"Huh?" she said and shook her head. "Of course I'm sorry! How could you think that?" she said and blushed then waved her hand. "That came out wrong. I mean I'm not sorry I met you!"
Tails laughed before motioning her to follow him.
"Don't worry; I know what you meant. See you later!" he said and took off.
"Hold on, Tails!"
However, she tripped over a rope and he caught her, but they were sprung into the air by a hidden spring. As they were thrown over a lake, they realized just how much they love each other. They landed in the shallow lake.
"Are you okay?" Tails asked.
"I'm fine. I wonder what that was." Cosmo said.
Then they saw the moon in the sky. It appeared much bigger to them than the moon on either the Earth or Mobius part. As they watch the moon together, their eyes shimmered. Meanwhile, the others knew about this.
"You gave Amy a matchmaking spell?" Chris asked on voiceover.
"It's the strongest one we have. The couple dives into the Lake of Love, and afterwards looks at the full moon, and then they'll be joined together forever!" Momo said.
"It sounds like Amy is finally going to see her dream come true!" Cream said.
"She can't fail! Amy even set up a trap so that she and Sonic would fall into the lake at the exact moment the moon rose!"
Cream and Momo celebrate.
"So they must be together right now... Huh?" Chris said and saw Sonic buying for something from a Marmolim and eating it.
"Thanks, pal. This should hit the spot." Sonic said.
"Sonic?" Chris said and he turned around.
"Somethin' wrong?"
On Lovers' Lake.
Amy saw Tails and Cosmo sitting together in Lovers' Lake. She was furious.
"Every time I come up with a way to capture Sonic's heart, he makes a last-minute getaway! This is totally unfair!" she said. "That trap was set for Sonic! I wanted to get my romance grown, and now I have to watch you two go gaga over each other! This is outrageous! Go find your own planet to fall in love on!" she screamed.
