"Franky, you can't see the dress before the wedding!" Bridget giggled, when she saw that the brunette had taken a seat on the bed behind her.
It was the night before the wedding, and the only thing left to do was for the blonde to pick which of her dresses she wanted to wear. She had one in mind, but she wanted to look at a few options before she settled. Emily had gone to bed, and Franky had been reading in the living room, so she thought this would be a good opportunity to try them on. Her mistake however, had been to tell the younger woman her plan. Before she could even try one on, Franky had joined her.
"Come on, Gidge. I can help you pick something out," the brunette said with a small smile on her face as she leaned back, supporting herself with both hands behind her on the bed.
"It's supposed to be a surprise." Bridget walked over to where the younger woman was sitting, and straddled her lap. "I think you just want to watch me change."
"Nah, that's just a bonus." Franky wrapped her arms around the older woman, as the blonde lowered her head for a kiss.
They kissed lazily for a moment before Bridget pulled back.
"Seriously though, just give me half an hour." The blonde really did want the dress to be at least a bit of a surprise, but she couldn't help but smile as Franky connected their lips again. "If you don't leave, I'm going to make you try one on," she mumbled against the brunette's lips.
"Empty threat." Franky wore a cocky grin on her face.
"Is that so?" The blonde managed to keep a straight face.
"Mhm." The brunette leaned in for another kiss, but Bridget moved back, just out of reach.
The blonde stood, and took a step back from the bed. When Franky made no movement to get up and leave, she walked to the closet and chose one of the dresses that was hanging inside.
"There you go." She laid the dress on the bed beside the brunette.
"What? You want me to put that on?" Franky looked at the dress, then back at the blonde. "Gidge, it's not going to fit me."
"Sure it will. It might be a little tight." She was confident. "We share clothes all the time."
"You wear my t-shirts. That's not even close to the same thing. I'm bigger than you, this won't fit me." She picked up the dress, and tried to hand it back to Bridget.
"You wore my old police costume for Halloween." The blonde crossed her arms.
"Fine. It's not my fault if it gets ruined though, and I'm going to look ridiculous." Franky couldn't remember the last time she'd worn a dress. She figured maybe as a very young child her mother may have dressed her in one, but she certainly couldn't recall anything more recent.
When Bridget didn't respond, the brunette began to undress. She could feel her fianceée's eyes on her as she tossed her shirt onto the bed. She decided to have some fun with the situation, and slowly pulled down her trackies, making sure to bend over, giving Bridget a nice view of her as she picked them up off the floor.
As she pulled on the dress, she hated to admit it, but it did actually seem like it was going to fit her without much of a problem. It was definitely tight, but the fabric had a bit of stretch to it. She felt Bridget step behind her to help her with the zipper.
Franky turned around and held out her arms to the side. "Happy? I look-"
"Stunning." The blonde finished the sentence for her. "Look in the mirror, baby." Bridget placed her hands on the younger woman's shoulders and guided her in front of the mirror.
The dress the blonde had chosen, was a silky emerald green, and flowed over one shoulder. On Bridget, it fell to about mid-calf level, but on the taller brunette, it was right at her knees.
"Shit, I'd fuck me." Franky ran her hand over the fabric covering her stomach. She heard the older woman giggle behind her.
"It brings out the color of your eyes." Bridget moved around the brunette, and placed her arms around her neck.
"It's beautiful." She lowered her head and gave the blonde a soft kiss on the lips. "Want me to wear it to the wedding?" Franky placed another kiss on the corner of her lips.
"Not unless you want to." Bridget couldn't help the smile that formed on her lips as she thought of the wedding that was now just a few hours away.
"I'll stick with the original plan." The brunette returned her smile.
"Okay, now give me a half hour to pick out a dress for tomorrow then we can go to bed." She watched as a smile played at the corners of Franky's mouth.
Bridget had chosen a long cream colored dress that reached almost to the floor, and had an accompanying wrap to go over her shoulders. She felt that it was a bit more formal than most of her other dresses, and also had a bit of the traditional wedding dress feel without being white.
Once she had decided on the dress, she placed it back into the closet, and climbed into the bed. She knew Franky would be watching the clock, and it would only be a few minutes until the brunette joined her.
Right on time, she heard the doorknob turn.
Franky opened the door to see the blonde laying on her side, the sheet pulled just up to her waist. The light coming in from the hallway showed that the older woman had chosen to forego pyjamas that night. She smiled to herself as she undressed before joining Bridget in the bed.
"Mm" The blonde felt Franky against her back.
"This is nice, babe," the brunette said, as she kissed the back of Bridget's shoulder. She ran her hand along the other woman's side, and down over her thigh as far as she could reach. When she retracted the path, she felt the blonde take her hand in her own and hold them against her chest. "The next time we sleep in this bed you'll be my wife." She placed a kiss on the nape of the other woman's neck and felt her shiver.
"Can't wait," Bridget sighed. "Hold me closer." She shifted against the brunette.
"Okay, tiny dancer." Franky smiled, as she heard a small laugh come from the woman in her arms.
"I love you, so much," the blonde said quietly as she squeezed the young woman's hand.
"I love you, too," Franky replied softly.
The brunette sighed as she straightened her jacket again in the mirror.
"Love, it looks great, you look great. Just take a deep breath, and try to relax." Liz placed a hand on each of Franky's shoulders.
Bridget had insisted that they not see each other after they were dressed until it was time for the ceremony, so Franky and Liz had gotten ready in the guest bedroom while Bridget, Emily, and Vera were in the master bedroom.
They had decided to skip on the traditional 'best man' and 'maid of honor' roles as well, and chose to just have Liz stand with Franky, and Vera with Bridget, representing the important person in each of their lives.
"I know, I'm just, I don't know, it's like a nervous excitement." The brunette shook her head, trying to clear it.
"I'm so proud of you." Liz smiled up at her.
There was a soft knock on the door, and Vera poked her head into the room.
"It's time to start." She gave Franky a soft smile. "You look great."
"Thanks." The brunette took a deep breath, and looked to Liz, who gave her a nod of encouragement, before they headed out the door.
The backyard was beautiful with the lights they had put up the day before. They were lit even though it wasn't dark yet, but it would be soon after the ceremony. To one side, a table was set where they would all have dinner before spending an evening around the firepit.
Franky took her place at the front with the celebrant along with Vera, and Liz. She couldn't believe their wedding day was finally here. As she waited for Bridget, she looked at the few friends they had invited. Bea and Allie both gave her huge smiles when she made eye contact with each of them, and Boomer, as predicted, was already bawling. Will was doing his best to comfort her, but it was no use.
Bridget had chosen the music she wanted to have played when she "walked down the aisle", which in this case meant when she and Emily followed the pathway from the side door of the house around onto the patio. It was a light classical piece that she'd always loved. She was never a huge fan of that style of music, but this particular piece was one that she did enjoy.
When the music started, the brunette turned so that she could see Bridget as soon as she came around the corner of the house. She couldn't wait to see her fiancée.
Franky spotted Emily first, wearing a purple dress that she'd picked out herself, then she saw the blonde. Bridget looked stunning, and the brunette felt herself starting to get emotional. She took a deep breath as she felt Liz's hand on her back, offering a gentle comfort.
"You look so beautiful." Franky placed a hand on each side of the blonde's head, and gave her a gentle kiss.
They stood with their foreheads resting against each other for a few seconds before they realized that everyone was waiting for them to start the ceremony.
"Ready?" The celebrant, Ethan, asked with a smile.
They both gave him a nod, and he prepared to begin the service. They had decided that they wanted just a basic ceremony, with only what was absolutely required other than the vows they had written to each other. It was to signify their level of commitment, and make their relationship official legally, and they didn't need a flashy ceremony for that.
"Ladies, and gentle...man." Ethan paused for a moment, realizing that Will was the only man there. "We're gathered here to witness the marriage between Francesca Doyle, and Bridget Westfall. I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence, and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life." He closed his folder. "The couple have prepared vows, which I will invite them to share now. Bridget."
"Franky," Bridget's voice was shaky with emotion, and she took a deep breath to steady herself. She felt the brunette take her hand, and give it a small squeeze. It registered that that simple gesture said everything that was important; I've got you, I'm here for you. "Franky, I don't think it's possible to express in words how much I love you. You came into my life and you showed me what it meant to truly love someone unconditionally. You make me feel safe, and protected. You've stood by myself, and Em, through a very crazy almost year, and I'm so proud of the family we've created together. You're the most amazing person, and perfect partner, and I can't imagine doing this with anyone else. I love you, so much." She knew that it wasn't the time in the ceremony for them to kiss, but she couldn't help placing a small, soft one on Franky's lips.
"I love you, too," the brunette whispered softly, as she placed a kiss next to Bridget's ear. She glanced towards the celebrant, and he nodded, indicating she could begin her vows when she was ready. "Bridget…..Gidge," she heard the blonde give a small, quiet laugh at the use of her nickname. Franky had rarely called her 'Bridget', and the younger woman didn't feel like it was a good fit to use it now for something so intimate and personal. "Thank you. Thank you for being my comfort, my safe space in this crazy world. I knew not long after we met that you were the one, even though it took me awhile to get around to actually proposing." She heard Bridget laugh again. "I love that sound so much," she said quietly, as she reached up and brushed her thumb against the blonde's cheek. "I promise that I will work to be the best possible partner to you, and Franky to Em. The best parts of my days are the times we spend together as a family. I feel so lucky that I met you. You gave me something that I never realized I wanted, and now I can't imagine my world without it. I love you so, so much, and I want to be with you for the rest of my life." She squeezed the blonde's hand again, seeing the emotion building on her face. She wanted nothing more than to reach out and take her in her arms, but she worried if she did, the flood gates would open, and neither of them would be able to get through the rest of the ceremony without tears streaming down their faces.
Ethan gave the couple a moment to collect themselves before he continued. "Do we have the rings?"
Emily stepped forward holding a tray containing the two small ring boxes.
"Franky, if you'll please take Bridget's ring, and repeat after me." He opened his folder again, and waited for the brunette to pick up the ring. "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Francesca Doyle,"
Franky took the blonde's left hand in hers as she began. "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Francesca Doyle."
"Take thee, Bridget Westfall, to be my lawful wedded wife."
"Take thee, Bridget Westfall, to be my lawful wedded wife." She smiled as she slipped the ring onto Bridget's finger.
"Bridget, if you'll please take Franky's ring, and repeat after me." He again waited while the blonde picked up the ring. "I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Bridget Westfall,"
"I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Bridget Westfall." She knew her hand was shaking, but when she looked at the brunette, Franky gave her an almost imperceptible nod to reassure her.
"Take thee, Francesca Doyle, to be my lawful wedded wife."
""Take thee, Francesca Doyle, to be my lawful wedded wife." As she slipped the ring onto the younger woman's finger, it briefly registered in her mind that she was fairly certain that was the only time she'd ever used Franky's proper name.
"If anyone here today, knows any reason why these two should not be joined in marriage, please speak now, or forever hold your peace." He looked over the crowd, as he heard someone clear their throat.
All eyes turned to Vera.
"Oh, uh, no." She waved her hand. "I just had a tickle….in my throat. Uh, no objection." Vera looked at the ground as she felt her face grow warm.
"Very well, with the power granted me by the state of Victoria, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss." He closed his folder, and smiled.
Bridget placed her arms around the brunette's neck and pulled her in for a kiss. She could hear their friends cheering, but when their lips parted, she simply rested her head against the younger woman's shoulder. She could feel Franky's strong arms around her, and she wanted to stay in this little bubble with her for a few more seconds.
"Are you alright, babe?" the brunette whispered softly.
"Yeah, more than alright." She felt Franky rub her back. Bridget wiped her eyes, and lifted her head. "I was just enjoying the moment."
The brunette gave her another kiss, before they turned to their friends, who were eager to offer their congratulations.
After the paperwork had been signed, Bea stood up and called for the group's attention.
"It's time now, for the couple's first dance." She reached over and turned on the small stereo they had used to play Bridget's entrance music earlier.
Franky reached out for the blonde's hand, and led her to the middle of the patio as the slow ballad began to play.
"What's this, baby?" Bridget asked, as the brunette wrapped one arm around her back, and took her right hand in the other. She didn't recall Franky even mentioning that she wanted a dance at the wedding.
"I found this song, and I thought it would be nice to dance to it with you." The brunette smiled as Bridget rested her head against her shoulder like she had earlier after they'd exchanged rings.
"What you said in your vows was beautiful, Gidge," Franky said, as she led her in the dance.
"I meant every word." Came the blonde's soft reply.
"Ditto, babe."
After the dinner, they had all changed out of their formal wear, and were currently sitting around the large fire that Franky had built.
"I have something for you." Bridget had been leaning against the brunette, but now she sat up and placed her drink on the small table.
"We said no gifts." Franky was fine with that, and had stuck to their agreement, but she'd feel bad if the blonde hadn't, and she had nothing to give her in return.
"It's not really a gift." She stepped into the house, and disappeared for a few seconds before returning, carrying a large envelope. "Here." She handed it to the brunette before she settled back in against her.
Franky opened the envelope, and pulled out the papers inside. She read quietly for a moment.
"What is it?" Emily had climbed up on the couch beside her.
"It says that I can be your legal guardian just like Auntie." She placed the envelope on the small table.
"So I can stay with you?" she asked with a big smile.
"Yes, you'll always have us." The brunette put her arms around Emily, as the young girl climbed onto her lap. "How did you get those so fast?" she asked Bridget.
"I called James and asked him to do up the papers since he handled the custody stuff with her before. It wasn't a big deal since I was the only one who had to give permission. And those are a copy." She tilted her head towards the envelope. "I wanted to have something to give you tonight, so he sent those over, but you'll have to go to his office and sign the real ones sometime next week."
"Thank you, babe." Franky reached out an arm to put around her wife. She looked at her group of friends, and saw Boomer, and Liz wiping their eyes. "Booms, you've been crying all day."
"I'm just so happy for ya, Franky. You got a wife, and a bubs." She let out another sob, and wiped her eyes again.
"I'm so proud of you, love." Liz reached over, and gave her arm a squeeze.
"I think this makes you officially a grandmother." The brunette smiled at her.
"Oh…" was all she managed to get out before a new bunch of happy tears rolled down her cheeks.
Bridget was putting the last of the dishes from their evening snacks into the dishwasher when she heard the patio door open and close behind her. She glanced behind her.
"Hey, Vera." Bridget greeted her friend. "Did you want another drink or some more food?" They had brought everything inside, so she thought maybe the other woman had come looking for something.
"No, I'm good, thanks," she said as she placed her glass on the dishwasher rack.
"Is everything alright?" The blonde put her hand on her friend's arm. She knew that weddings could sometimes bring up all kinds of emotions in people for various reasons.
"Yeah, I just, I don't know." Vera shook her head. "I just feel very emotional today." She gave her a small smile.
"Hey, come here." Bridget opened her arms, and her friend stepped into them, allowing herself to be embraced.
"I'm very happy for you. I hope I find something like you guys have some day." Vera gave her friend an extra squeeze before she let go.
"Thanks, that means a lot." The blonde watched the other woman's face for a second. "You're part of our family too, you know."
Vera gave a small nod. "Thank you."
"Oh hey, I wondered where you guys went." Franky had just come inside with Emily. "Go get washed up and changed for bed, bub." She sent the young girl down the hallway.
Bridget caught the brunette's eye, and tilted her head slightly towards the patio. Franky took the hint, realizing that she'd walked in on a conversation.
"I'm going to go make sure the fire is out, and help Liz finish cleaning up." The brunette turned, and headed back outside.
"Vera." The blonde put a hand on each of her friend's shoulders. "I promise you will find someone." She hesitated for a second. "What about Will? You guys get along well, and you've hung out a bit before. He talked to you all evening." She gave her friend a smile. She knew she had initially dismissed Franky's suggestion of setting the governor up with Will, but she also knew that sometimes the answer was right in front of you all along.
"I don't know….he's great, but we're friends." Vera gave Bridget an apologetic look. She knew her friend was trying to be helpful.
"I know, it was just a thought." The blonde gave her a small smile. "If you change your mind, I can discreetly set up a double date. With Will, or anyone else. We're always up for it."
"Thanks." She smiled at her friend. "I should be going."
"You're welcome to stay in the guest room tonight if you'd like." Bridget hated to see her friend go home alone upset.
"Thanks, but I couldn't, it's your guys' night." Vera picked up her bag from the couch. "I can take Em, if you'd like."
"That's sweet of you." The blonde thought for a moment. She was trying to decide if Vera was offering because she thought they wanted to have the night alone, or because she wanted the company at her place. "She's fine here, though. She seems tired, and she's been sleeping well."
"Oh, okay, some other time then." The governor started for the door.
"Vera, wait." Bridget took a couple quick steps to catch up with her. "Why don't you ask her if she'd like to go with you? I'm fine either way."
"Okay." Vera's mood lifted noticeably.
The governor had gone into the young girl's bedroom by the time Franky and Liz returned to the kitchen.
"Give me a hug, love, then I'm on my way home." Liz reached out to the blonde. "I'm so glad you two found each other," she said as she squeezed the other woman a bit tighter.
"Me too. Thank you for everything." Bridget gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Do you want me to take Em with me for the night?" Liz looked at each of the women.
"Sorry, Liz, Vera beat you to it. She's down talking to her now." The blonde turned her head, as Vera emerged from the hallway. "No?"
"No, she said Franky promised to let her help make chocolate waffles for breakfast tomorrow." She shrugged.
"Indeed, I did," the brunette said as she ate a piece of candy from the open bag on the counter. "You guys are welcome to come back and have some, if you want."
Both of the women said they may just take her up on the offer, before they said goodnight.
Franky took the blonde in her arms, and gave her a long, soft kiss.
"Hey, Mrs. Westfall." Bridget grinned against the younger woman's lips.
"Mm, I like that." Franky gave her another kiss. "I'm going to go read Em a story if she's still awake."
"Okay. Then I think we should call it a night too," the blonde said with a cheeky smile.
"No clothes again tonight, babe?" the brunette said as she closed the door behind her.
"No." Bridget smiled, as she watched the younger woman undress. "Em must have been asleep already."
"She wasn't quite when I went in, but by the time I got the book off the shelf and sat down, she was out." The brunette slid in under the covers.
"She had a big day, too. She was so excited when I gave you that paperwork." The blonde eased herself closer to her wife. She could do a lot more now without pain, but switching positions was still something she had to be careful about.
"It's weird sometimes how things work out, isn't it? Like if you just look at the beginning, and the end, without any explanation in between, it seems almost crazy." Franky knew she was in one of her weird thoughtful moods tonight.
"In what ways? You mean with you and I?" Bridget smiled. She loved when the younger woman got philosophical. It was something she found very attractive.
"Yeah, like because Tim has a business trip, you meet your wife. Because you signed Em up for a cooking class, you meet your wife. Because some random prisoner happened to start a riot on that particular day, you meet your wife. It's just kind of crazy to think about." The brunette rubbed her hand up and down the other woman's back.
"So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you," Bridget whispered, as she nuzzled her nose against Franky's cheek.
"That's beautiful." She studied the blonde's eyes.
"It's from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho." The quote had always been a favorite of Bridget's, and for a split second she thought that maybe her love of it had made it come true.
As the brunette connected their lips, she felt the older woman's hand on her hip, her fingers trailing around and down her stomach. Her breath hitched as the blonde's fingertips made contact with her clit.
Bridget smiled against the brunette's lips, as she moved her hand lower, and felt wetness. She loved that Franky was so easily turned on by her.
"Gidge, wait." Franky broke their kiss.
"What's wrong?" the blonde asked softly.
"Maybe we shouldn't tonight. I don't want to hurt you." The younger woman ran her hand along Bridget's side.
"You won't hurt me. We'll be gentle." The blonde gave her a reassuring smile.
"Are you sure?" Franky had seen earlier how carefully the other woman moved herself towards her.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I want to make love to my wife on my wedding night." Bridget pulled the brunette in for a kiss.
It was hard to argue with the blonde's statement. Of course, Franky wanted the same thing, and she'd told the older woman she'd trust that she knew her body, and that she would be honest about how much she was feeling up to doing, and when. The brunette groaned as she felt Bridget's hand against her once more.
"Put your leg over my hip." Bridget briefly moved her hand to the back of Franky's thigh to encourage her to do what she wanted.
When the brunette complied, she reached between them again, this time moving her hand to the younger woman's opening, and teasing there with her fingers. Bridget let her thumb brush lightly across her clit.
"Gidge, please." Franky pushed her hips forward. She knew that the blonde knew exactly how she liked to be touched, and she was eager to feel it.
Bridget studied the brunette's face as she let two fingers slide easily inside of her. She loved seeing the subtle expressions on her wife's face. Franky had her eyes closed, but the blonde could see the way her eyebrows knit together slightly when her fingers first entered her, and then how her lips parted when they reached deep inside.
Bridget set a slow, steady pace, making sure to press against the front wall each time she pulled her fingers out at the same time she moved her thumb across the younger woman's clit. After a few seconds, she saw the brunette open her eyes.
"Hey, baby," the blonde whispered, brushing the end of Franky's nose with her own.
"Hey," the brunette said with a slight smile. She let out a small moan when Bridget pushed against her a bit harder. "That feels really good."
The blonde heard Franky's breath hitch as she felt a flutter around her fingers. She smiled to herself as she leaned in to place a kiss on the side of the brunette's neck.
Franky turned her head into the pillow a bit to allow Bridget more access to her neck. She tried to steady her breathing. She definitely wanted to try to stretch this out a bit. She felt the older woman's lips against her skin, she felt the caress of her tongue, and she felt the small nips that the other woman timed perfectly with what she was doing with her fingers.
As Bridget worked her way along the younger woman's shoulder, Franky felt the familiar sensations in her body that indicated her orgasm wasn't far off.
"Gidge." The brunette felt the older woman lift her head.
"Yeah, baby?" Bridget asked as she placed a kiss next to Franky's ear.
"Kiss me."
The blonde didn't need to be told twice. She connected their lips in a deep, hard kiss, and felt the younger woman tighten around her fingers. Bridget picked up her pace slightly, pushing in harder, and making sure to hit that spot on the way back out each time.
"Fuck," Franky mumbled when she broke for air. She took a deep breath, and pulled the blonde back in to continue the kiss.
Bridget curled her fingers one final time, and the brunette's body shook as her orgasm ran through her. The older woman watched, as she had earlier. She thought Franky looked beautiful as she experienced the pleasure that the blonde was able to give to her. It was something Bridget wanted to see every day for the rest of her life.
Franky opened her eyes, and didn't even take time to fully catch her breath before she connected their lips again. She tightened her arm around the blonde, and turned them so that Bridget was lying on her back.
The older woman smiled against the brunette's lips. It wasn't lost on her that Franky had actually turned her, rather than just letting her change position on her own like she normally did, or that she was being careful not to put much weight on the blonde, opting instead to lay more against her side than on top of her.
When Franky pulled away, she immediately started kissing her way down Bridget's body. She spent time on her neck where she knew the blonde was more sensitive, then she moved down her chest, taking a nipple into her mouth. The brunette brushed her thumb over Bridget's hipbone, being careful to avoid her incision, as she swiped her tongue over the tip of the hardened bud between her teeth.
"Oh my god." Bridget's hand twitched against Franky's back. She wasn't sure if it was the lack of sex in the previous few weeks, or the emotion of the night, but either way, she hoped the brunette didn't take too long getting to the point, or she was going to get to her point first.
Franky sensed the blonde's excitement, and decided to give her what she wanted. She moved herself down in the bed, and placed a kiss on the older woman's stomach. She positioned herself between Bridget's legs, and felt the blonde place her right one over her shoulders, holding Franky in place.
The brunette wrapped her lips around the older woman's clit, and sucked gently as she flicked her tongue over the bundle of nerves. She could already feel the tremors in Bridget's thigh under where her hand was resting. Normally, Franky would close her eyes, and just listen to the sounds the other woman made, and feel how her body reacted to the things she did, but today, the brunette wanted to watch as well.
As she looked up across the blonde's body, she caught Bridget watching her. When the older woman's eyes started to close, Franky squeezed her thigh, causing her to open them and make eye contact again. The brunette remembered once when Bridget had done the same to her, and how she had found it hot.
The blonde tried as best she could to hold Franky's gaze. She knew the brunette wanted her to watch, but she felt like her orgasm was ready to hit her any second, and she was having trouble focusing. All it took was two more swipes of the younger woman's tongue and Bridget came hard. She tried to be as quiet as possible, but a loud moan escaped her lips.
As she lay there catching her breath, looking up at the ceiling, she felt a soft kiss on her stomach, then at the base of her neck, and then finally on her lips.
"I love you so much, and I'm so happy to finally be your wife," Franky whispered softly.
"I love you, too." Bridget pulled her in for another kiss. "And I'm so happy."
The brunette wrapped her arms around the blonde. It had been quite a day, and even though it was over, she knew this was just the beginning of lots more to come for them. She was looking forward to starting her restaurant, but she was most excited about expanding their family, and settling back into some semblance of a normal routine with the people she loved.
