Crimson awoke with Misty snuggling him and he was tempted to stay in bed. However, he had to get up. He had called Mary before bed to let her know to order another overcoat given his old one was ruined with bullets. Honestly, he had wanted to take a relaxation day, but he made up his mind. He had to battle the gym leader today. And he was going to do in style…
Eventually, the others woke up to get breakfast having not seen Crimson. Then Crimson arrived already fully dressed ready for the day. His clothing choices were a bit low-key with a White Logo Shirt, an opened grey Pinstripe Collared Shirt with the collar up, gray Camo Cargo Shorts, his Air Jordan 1s, his usual gear, and a Thunderbolt Baseball Cap.
"You okay, man?" Joe said.
"Just mourning, I guess. But I am ready to go face Koga." Crimson said getting out the Ground-type sunglasses to put on.
His team joined him on the watch to Koga's gym which was the hybrid between a Japanese temple and the modern Gym. Of course, they went in to see the glass maze. Crimson simply leapt on top of a glass wall balancing on before skipping on the walls before landing right in front of Koga, who was meditating.
"Oh, come on, you asshole! We wanted a piece of you before Koga." One Gym Trainer cried.
"Don't worry, we'll keep you entertained." Joe threatened.
"Crimson." Koga said snapping his eyes open. "You have come. Despite the loss, it has not tempered your goals. I can respect that."
"But before you must face my father, you must face me!"
In came a younger Janine riding on an Ariados' back with Hiromichi walking in.
"Well, ain't you adorable?" Crimson said as Janine puffed her cheeks.
"I am not adorable, I am a kunoichi. Fear my wrath…to be dazzled by my allure and skill!" Janine said only to fall off her spider and on her face.
"Yeah, I'm so scared…" Crimson joked as Janine got up.
"I will get you for that. My charm is…" Janine said before her father cleared her throat. "Oh…"
"Janine, where's your mother?" Koga said.
"Right here." Anko said walking out.
Thankfully yet unknown to Crimson, she was a mirror counterpart. He did not feel the urge to hunt and strangle a certain trio, so he relaxed. Anko physically looked the same just with different clothes, and, unknown to him, a different family surname. Her clothing was modeled similarly to her husband and daughter only her kunoichi clothes was sleeveless and midriff baring with those areas being covering by fishnet/mesh. Her scarf was a dark blue.
"Obaasan, I couldn't get him to fall my charm." Janine said.
"Don't worry, he'll crack. You're just going at it wrong." Anko said rubbing her daughter's head. "Why don't you judge the match?"
CRASH! An Arbok was thrown through glass by Rusty's Snorlax. Rusty returned the Pokémon, took the prize money from the Gym Trainer, and just casually walked through the hole.
"Sorry about that." Rusty said awkwardly.
Koga sighed and had staff clean up and replace the broken glass panels. Janine took her position on the referee's side with Hiromichi.
"Rusty, want to double up? I have a feeling Joe's going to be held up by his girl." Crimson said.
"Well then, this is going to be a real party then. Let's get it started!" Rusty said high-fiving him.
"That's the spirit." Anko said taking up a side next to her husband.
The marquee lit up.
"This Fuchsia City Gym battle is ready to commence with my parents, the Dokukages of this Gym against the challengers, Crimson Ryuseigan and Rusty Beige of the Black Dragons." Janine said professionally. "Challengers, how many badges?"
"Both of us have four." Crimson remarked.
"Yeah, you've proven yourself to be such a terror hero. But don't think you'll walk away from without a scratch!" Anko said determined.
"Fwahahaha! I would laugh at a mere child daring to challenge me, but you're no mere child. The way you carry yourself is way too experienced for you to be called a rookie. But, I shall show you true terror as a ninja master! Poison brings steady doom. Sleep renders foes helpless. Despair to the creeping horror of Poison-type Pokémon!" Koga said.
"As per the rules, only the challenger is allowed to substitute. And the leaders will limit themselves to fou-"
"Actually, sweetheart. We're using five." Anko said as Hiromichi looked shocked. "If Misty thinks you're a challenge, then we will do the same. Though I'm not bending over for you like she probably does."
"Fuck you, Anko!" Misty snarled.
"Sorry, I'm not into skinny tomboys." Anko teased.
Misty climbed up a glass panel just to flip Anko off before jumping back down.
Koga sighed as teams were assembled.
"Let the battle begin!" Janine said.

"Serviper, set the stage!" Anko said sending out the sanke Pokémon.
"Arbok, strike some fear!" Koga said sending out the cobra Pokémon.
Serviper affectionately licked Arbok's face.
"Not during work, dear." Arbok said glaring at their opponents.
Rusty was snickering.
"Lil' Swish, shine on!" Crimson said as his Espeon was out on the arena.
"Healani, surf's up." Rusty said as his Alolan Raichu was all the more ready.
"Greetings." Healani said cracking her neck.
"This is going to be our first gym battle together. Let's make it count!" Lil' Swish said.
"Are you even a Raichu?" Arbok asked.
"An Alolan one, pleasure to be fighting you. You better not disappoint." Healani said with her expression going serious.
"Serviper, kick off with Gastro Acid!" Anko said as Serviper spewed out green acid.
"I don't think so. Lil' Swish, return it to sender." Crimson said as Lil' Swish got in front of the gunk.
His red jewel glowed as a barrier was erected to bounce back that gunk smack back on Serviper.
"Aw, you little-by the Hoenn sands, this gunk feels horrid!" Serviper squealed. "How the hell did you do that?"
In response, Arbok used his trademark Glare only for Swish to bounce that back and for him to get paralyzed.
"Ok, I smell bullshit!" Anko snarled.
"No, that's Magic Bounce. An ability that bounces back all status move to the sender." Hiromichi stated only to get glares all around. "It's pretty rare for a Pokémon to have it…not many do."
"And I don't have Shed Skin! Freaking hell!" Arbok hissed.
"Healani, Electric Terrain!" Rusty said as Healani danced to light the ground up.
"Swish, Psychic!" Crimson said. "Bombard, Arbok!"
Paralyzed, Arbok screamed as his mind was assailed by Espeon's power landing harsh damage and lowering his Special Defense.
"Seviper, bite down on that psychic cat with Crunch!" Anko said as Serviper caught Swish in its body before biting down with glowing fangs.
Yes, Lil' Swish took damage, but he smirked as the snake bit into his Rocky Helmet which gave him some damage.
"Gah, a helmet! Why the fuck are you wearing a helmet?!" Serviper snarled out.
"Healani, Rising Voltage on Arbok!" Rusty commanded as Healani lit up the ground as Arbok before electrocuting him.
"So many stars!" Arbok said fainting.
"Arbok, dear!" Serviper said tossing Lil' Swish aside before slithering over to her mate. "Are you all right?"
"Avenge me…" Arbok said weakly as there was a fire in her eyes.
"Serviper, Flamethrower!" Anko said as Serviper breathed out purplish flames.
"Lil' Swish, Sizzly Slide!" Crimson said as Espeon was consumed in pink flames.
"Healani, use Psychic to hurl Swish forward!" Rusty said as Healni used her ESP to launch Espeon like a bullet.
The attack cleaved through the Flamethrower slowly as Healni was pushing her mind to get her partner further before he was cleaved successfully before crashing into Serviper with that helmet. Lil' Swish knew he had to have a burn and panted out a sigh of relief as Serviper was down for the count.
"Not bad, but it's not over just yet." Anko said returning her Pokémon alongside her husband.
"Swish, come on back." Crimson said as Swish requested to be put into his ball. "Oh, then return."
He returned as Healni rejoined Rusty's side.
"All right, Tank! You're up!" Crimson said sending out the massive Snorlax.
"Rebecca, it's showtime!" Rusty said sending his own Snorlax out.
"Hey, how you doin'?" Tank said.
"Good, but now I want a sandwich." Rebecca said patting her stomach.
Both Anko and Koga sent out a Toxicroak.
"Toxic!" They both cried as both Frog Pokémon spat out purple gunk.
Tank got in front and let it hit him before laughing at them.
"Don't tell me this asshole has Magic Bounce too…" Anko said dryly.
"Immunity. Immune to all poisons." Crimson said cheekily. "So no, poisoning him won't work."
"Motherfu-" Anko said catching herself. "So, you came prepared, but it won't be enough. You are shielded from poison, but paralysis, sleep, burns, and confusion await you!"
"Well said." Koga said calm and collected. "Toxicroak, Brick Break."
"Focus Blast!" Anko said as her Toxicroak was forming a sphere of energy.
"Tank, square up with your own Brick Break!" Crimson remarked as Tank charged in.
"Rebecca, Outrage." Rusty command as Rebecca glowed bright red alongside with her eyes.
Tank was in a clash of blows with one Toxicroak having taken hits but making sure to land a few. As for Rebecca, she roared like a dragon and charged slamming the Focus Blast aside nearly clipping Janine before hitting Toxicroak like a freight train.
"Rebecca SMASH!" Rebecca said ragdolling Toxicroak before slamming the frog into a small crater. "Puny frog."
"Gah, that's probably a critical!" Tank said coughing up spittle. "Yeah, not going to last longer."
"Then fall!" Toxicroak said getting Tank in the jaw.
"Not before my last up in me!" Tank said slamming his glowing fist into the frog's stomach getting him to spit toxins in his face. "Here's a critical right back at ya, Kermit."
Tank staggered back before apologizing to Crimson and passing out. Crimson returned him wordlessly because deciding on who send next.
"Atlas, I call upon the lord of the seas!" Crimson said sending out his Gyarados.
"At least, I raise from the ashes!" Atlas boasted.
"Rain Dance!" Crimson said as Atlas pranced about causing a cloud of rain to form over the arena.
"Ha, thanks for the free healing." Anko said as Crimson laughed. "What's so funny?"
"The look on your face when I say, 'Atlas, light up her life!'" Crimson said as Atlas sparked with raw electricity.
"That looks like Thunder…and it never misses in…rain." Hiromichi said as Anko's eye twitched.
"Oh. FUCK!"
Atlas certainly light Toxicroak up. Down went the frog.
"You tricky little shi-"
"STOP TALKING!" Rebecca wailed before pummeling the other one again.
Rebecca's glow faded leaving her dazed and confused. Koga and Anko returned their Pokémon.
"Muk, consume with your toxins!" Koga said sending the putrid sludge Pokémon.
What surprised Rusty and Crimson was it was an Alolan Muk. Anko sent out her Nidoqueen which the intent of bum-rushing Crimson with attacks. Rebecca was recalled and Healani sent back with both Crimson and Rusty sharing a look before nodding.
"Thunder Punch!" Anko said as Nidoqueen's hand crackled with electricity. "It's funny that your own boost is turned against you."
"But I have a retort! Healni, use Surf!" Crimson said as Healni's glowed ocean blue before forming a large wave of water.
Forming a surfboard of psychic energy to ride on, she rode the wave over with Gyarados using his typing to his advantage to ride it and not take damage.
"Thunder." Crimson said.
An explosion of water and electricity meet Dark Pulse and Thunder Punch. At the most, both sides took sizeable damage as they glared at each other clearly drained. However, Koga had a plan and had Muk lunge at Atlas grabbing him.
"Now Muk, Explosion!" Koga said as Muk began to glow.
"If I'm going down, then this to be my last laugh!" Atlas roared before firing coming down at Muk with a Dark Pulse.
The explosion rocked the gym with the two Pokémon out cold. Two down on Crimson's side and three on Koga's.
"Earthquake!" Anko said as Nidoqueen glowed orange before causing the earth to rattle and crack.
"It's too much!" Healani said before fainting. "I'm sorry…"
The rain cleared and the electric field fizzled out.
"Midori, get in there." Midori said sending out his faithful Beedrill.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Anko taunted.
"I don't know. You looked like your rolled out of bed, squeezed into the tight clothes you can, and suck in your stomach." Rusty said as Crimson and Koga were agape. "I did see you stuffing your face at the dango stand."
"DAMN!" Joe cried out.
"Let me get you some burn heals." Crimson said as a few Gym Trainers were laughing as Anko was red-faced and angry.
"Nidoqueen, tear that bee apart with Superpower!" Anko said as Nidoqueen glowed blue.
"Ok, Ominous Wind, then." Rusty countered as Nidoqueen was bombarded by cursed wind.
Nidoqueen was done and Anko was swearing in anger.
"Now it's down to just two. Weezing, show them your skill." Koga said sending out Weezing. "I must admit, you're certainly skilled. You know what I specialized in and planned accordingly. Despite never seeing me battle. But with my Weezing's Neutralizing Gas…no Magic Bounce or Immunity will save you."
"You're no slouch yourself." Crimson said. "Besides, I can respect a man with affinity for the Poison-type. But the game is not over."
Anko sent out Venusaur and Crimson got out his next choice cackling.
"My guy of the night, it's finally time." Crimson said as the ball opened letting out Sir Jett. "Sir Jett!"
"Weezing, use your Heat Wave." Koga said as Weezing's body went red hot before spewing a rush of hot air.
"Dodge it!" Crimson/Rusty cried.
Midori flew into the air carrying Jett into the air.
"Vensuaur, use Sunny Day!" Anko snarked.
Venusaur made it bright, hot, and sunny as the Pokémon soaked in the rays.
"Smash the ground with your Earthquake!" Crimson said as Jett leapt off the Midori. "And show Weezing the ground!"
"Seismic SMASH!" Jett said falling towards the ground.
In the process, he grabbed Weezing dragging him to the ground before punching him and the ground with his 'Seismic Smash' rattling the ground landing a critical on Weezing and damaging Venusaur. Rusty commanded Midori to use U-turn allowing Midori to slip in a blow on Venusaur before returning to her ball. Weezing was out cold leaving Koga stunned and impressed.
"Such teamwork. I'm beginning to regret taking you both on." Koga remarked.
"To be fair, I do like double battles, but this is actually our first team up. Crazy, huh?" Crimson said cheekily as Jett flipped back over to his side. "Good work, Jett. You're done for now."
"Then, my last Pokémon, go Venomoth!" Koga said sending out the winged Bug/Poison Pokémon.
"Ok, that's cool. Kimiko, let's wrap this up!" Crimson said sending out his shy Charizard.
"Aw shit!/Oh shit!" Anko/Venusaur/Hiromichi said at the same time.
One could hear Joe laughing behind the glass panels. Koga just gave Anko a look as Rusty sent out Alta Maria.
"Kimiko." Crimson said. "Heat Wave!"
"Sync up with Kimiko, and use Heat Wave!" Rusty said.
"Well, I guess I'll just burn today…" Venusaur said dryly before he and Venomoth were assailed with Sunny Day boosted hot air.
Koga was out of Pokémon and Anko was down to one. Anko did not want to surrender, but she knew she had to. She threw in her scarf.

"Koga is out of usable Pokémon and Anko has surrendered the fight! The winners are Crimson and Rusty!" Janine said.
"Kimiko, good work!" Crimson said as the other Pokémon in his corner cheered.
"Excellent work." Rusty said hugging Alta.
[Music Ends]
Koga was going to present the badges, but Anko took them and stormed up.
"You won fair and square…even if I don't like it. You took what we threw at you and you took it head on. You used what you could against me, and you prevailed. It will be my honor to present you both with the Soul Badge." Anko said as Crimson and Rusty took them up.
"Now that you have the Soul Badge, the Defense of your Pokémon rises. With it, you're also authorized to surf outside of battle on your Pokémon. Take this along with your prize money!" Koga said giving them both a TM for Toxic alongside their prize money. "Truly a great battle."
Crimson and Rusty both returned their Pokémon after accepting the prize money and the TM. Joe, Sissi, and Misty got through the maze.
"Is there no one left to fight?" Sissi asked.
"I will be your opponent!" Janine said dramatically. "I will be no cakewalk."
"Tempting, but I need to heal up my beasties." Crimson said leaving. "Sissi, I'll treat you to lunch after you kick Janine's ass."
He walked past Anko before using her smoke bomb to make a dramatic exit.

"You're planning an attack on Team Rocket's Celadon stronghold, huh? Ok, you want firearms? Seriously? Didn't peg you for guns seeing all that martials arts shit you do." Roulette mused while in her office. "I get it, it's a nice backup and it saves you energy. I'll see what I can do on it. By the way, Chad and Maylin got their fourth badges recently and they're in leaving Celadon to come down Cycling Road."
"Well, I won't be in Fuchsia long. I do want to go back to Lapis Town to properly prep for Celadon." Crimson mused back. "I may want a few more hands on deck to secure things. Topaz must know a supplier for firearms. Put her on the line."
Roulette walked into the other room find Topaz paying video games, namely a rather killer app from Rockstar.
"Topaz, the boss wants to talk to you." Roulette said.
Topaz paused the game and took up the phone.
"Boss, what can I do for you? Guns? I mean I have a guy. You want pistol rounds and a dozen Uzis. Yeah, I can get them for you." Topaz said before giving Roulette the phone.
"Ok, I'm going to need some backup. My party can help but doesn't hurt to have extras. I'll have a bit of a plan in place by the end of this week." Crimson said before hanging up.
Roulette went to find that Marie and Lee were coming back inside from their recent badge obtainment.
"You two up for a mission from the boss?" Roulette said as the pair smirked.

(Kanto Safari Zone | May 16th | 11:10 a.m.)
"Congratulations on finding the secret house, you win our prize. The HM03, Surf." The staffer said giving it to Crimson.
"Thanks." Crimson said leaving.
Having got what he wanted, he retired early. Not like the Zone had anything he wanted as he already got a Tauros. He headed over to the center glad his Pokémon were fully recovered. He went into the room he stayed at before letting the six of them out.
"Ok, we got our fifth badge. All of you did well. So now comes the matter of swapping up the team." Crimson remarked. "Morticia, you need R&R. So, Oak's, Tree's, the Mansion, or at Lapis?"
"I may as well keep Tessa company." Morticia said. "Don't fight too hard without me."
"Of course. Anyone else?" Crimson asked.
"I could use some time to rest. I want to hang around the new place. Get to know Mary." Lil' Swish said excitedly.
"Tree's please. I want to have siesta after some pot brownies." Tank requested.
He had those three sent off to their respective destinations. He decided to call the mansion again to get to talk to Capone. Roulette still felt weird giving the phone to a Pokémon.
"I saw your battle. You did good, but I noticed another new face. A Tauros." Capone remarked.
"A gift given to me for my hand in fighting Team Rocket. I did promise you'd get to be in my Saffron Gym fight. You will. I'm going to putting Brutus into the party. May as well give him the welcome." Crimson said.
"He's nice enough for a Tauros. See ya, kid. Keep it up." Capone said before Crimson hung up.
Crimson settled on Marquesha, Brutus, and Emperor Magnus…but this led to protest from Atlas.
"If you're going to bring that emperor, then I request to be sent to the Mansion. I can swim in peace." Atlas remarked.
Atlas was swapped for Rhint much to Crimson's eye rolling. Marquesha was glad to see Crimson, even dropping the tough-girl act to hang her trainer. He let out Brutus to introduce himself and welcome him to the team.
"Welcome aboard. I'll leave you all to chat…I need to grab a drink." Crimson said leaving the room.
"Ok, so what's he like?" Brutus asked.
"A certified badass. People fear him, women want him, and men secretly want him and want to be him. He the realest mofo of a trainer." Marquesha rapped.
"I've known him since before he was a trainer…before he lost his parents. Before I lost mine. We were practically raised together." Jett mused. "Good kid with a fierce heart, an auric who is attuned to nature."
"Auric? Well, ain't that a surprise." Brutus said warmly.
Crimson returned finishing his drink before returning all his Pokémon. He met up with his friends with Sissi having got her badge.
"Joe, you're not battling?" Rusty asked.
"Saving the Poison Gym for later." Joe said. "I got time."
"I…Hm?"
Riding in on bikes were Chad and Maylin, but they both looked worried.
"Maylin, Chad? What's wrong?" Crimson said.
"We got news. Bad news from Mitsune." Chad panted.
"Seems another person from America is gunning for you." Maylin said as Crimson facepalmed.
"I'm guessing the client I screwed over. Ok, who's the asshole?" Crimson asked.
"Dr. Draken." Chad said before Crimson broke down laughing. "Why are you laughing? He's one of Kim Possible's most dangerous foe."
"And don't forget Shego!" Maylin said as Crimson kept laughing.
"Dude, shouldn't you be concerned? They are high-pro…"
"No. I am not scared. If it was Monkey Fist, maybe. But I can deal with them both. Shego gets her ass handed to her by Kim Possible. Look at her and compare her to me, I'd kick that scrawny redhead's ass six ways to Saturday." Crimson said seriously. "Not to downplay Shego, but if it's only her and a bunch of henchman, we can take her. When are they coming?"
"We don't know." Chad said worriedly only for Crimson to put a hand on his shoulder.
"Relax. Go to the Safari Zone, cool off, and relax. I got this. I got connections that can help. You did your job. By the way, you two are looking better." Crimson said as Maylin blushed.
"Well traveling around is good for you. Please call if you need us." Maylin said as she and Chad pedaled away.
"Seriously though, Shego is a problem." Sissi said. "I've seen her in action…she's pretty strong."
"And we'll be ready for her." Joe assured. "Crimson, can you do some digging?"
Crimson's phone rang and saw it was an unknown number to which he answered.
"Moshi moshi." Crimson said answering the phone.
"Crimson, right? This is Emerald, we barely met." Emerald remarked.
"And what do you want with me?" Crimson asked.
"Well, I got some information on someone who wants you maimed. I…"
"I already know it's Shego and Draken. I just need a when and where they are going to show up." Crimson said sternly.
"Fine, I'll give you the information in exchange for some cash. I know that the Cubone skulls you jacked sold for a for-"
"Emerald, I am seriously not in the mood for this shit. First off, you know damn well that I can hang up on you, call Torchwick, and have him deal with the fact you want to squeeze money out of me when he and I are allies." Crimson snarled.
He could hear Mercury take the phone and say, "I told her you wouldn't pay up. Look, they're due to check into some hotel in Lapis Town. They'll be there by Monday at the earliest." Mercury said before hanging up.
"Well, shit. They're coming to Lapis Town which is where we're going." Crimson said with a sigh. "I'm going to go see Koga."

(Koga Family Estate, Fuchsia City Gym | May 16th | 12:00 p.m.)
Koga's family was simply having their lunch with Hiromichi and Lara joining them when Crimson entered their home.
"Crimson?" Lara asked seeing the dark look on his face. "What's wrong?"
"Well, my life is being threatened again. So, I came to ask if for some of your armory, Koga. Also, to get your phone number…I pretty much am collecting those." Crimson mused.
"Threat on your life? Mind explaining that while I put the number on your phone?" Koga said as Crimson gave his phone to him.
"The deal I busted…turns out the client was Dr. Draken." Crimson said as Anko spat out her tea.
"I mean he's not an issue, but Shego is…" Anko remarked as he got his phone back. "You find out when they're coming."
"Monday. And the location's the same place I'm going to." Crimson said.
"Well, you already have a katana, let me get you the works." Janine said revealing the armory.
"Oh yes, this is going to be perfect." Crimson said getting a ninja pouch putting in smoke bombs, shurikens, and kunais. "What's the white jars for?"
"Our secret family medicines. Normally, I wouldn't just give you one, but…it's the least my family can do to repay you." Janine said giving her a small one.
"Thank you." Crimson said taking it.
"Be careful, Crimson." Lara advised.
"I will." Crimson said before leaving. "See ya guys."
Crimson left the place regrouping with his friends who were already prepping to leave. They were about to get their bikes when they heard a helicopter. They looked up to see a chopper with the Triton logo fly over them dropping a ladder for them to climb. Crimson went up first.
"Your maid sent for us to pick you up. Saying you requested a flight back to the Triton." The pilot said.
"But I…did. Let me just call up my friends." Crimson said before signaling for his friends to come up.
They'd leave the city right as Ash was coming into town.
(A/N: Originally it was going to be Monkey Fist, but I decided to finally go through with these two. They were supposed to show up in Season 4 during the cruise ship storyline, but I backed off. I'd say this doesn't take place post-series for KP, somewhere during it.)
