Cyber Sunday: 28/10/2007
WWE Cyber Sunday was live at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The first match that aired was between Rey Mysterio and Finlay, voted by the fans to be a Stretcher match. Finlay managed to retrieve his shillelagh and attacked Mysterio's legs. Mysterio fought back and performed the 619 on Finlay, sending him onto the stretcher. Mysterio then performed a senton and pushed Finlay over the line for the win.
It was announced that Matt Hardy was not medically cleared to compete (due to an injury suffered on a previous episode of SmackDown), and a match was announced with Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) defending his WWE United States Championship against the fans' choice between Kane, The Great Khali, and Mark Henry. The second match was for the ECW Championship between CM Punk and The Miz, the winner of the voting. The match was back and forth for the first half of the match. The Miz gained the advantage after forcing Punk to fall from the second rope. Punk came back after hip tossing The Miz from the top rope. Punk won the match after a GTS.
The voting results for the WWE Championship match were then revealed, with Shawn Michaels winning. A bonus match was made between the two losers in the voting, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy. Hardy gained the advantage after dropkicking Kennedy off the apron to ringside. Kennedy came back after throwing Hardy out of the ring. Hardy regained control with a top rope Hurricanrana. Kennedy won the match via pinfall after Hardy missed a rope-aided corner dropkick.
The fourth match was between MVP and Kane for the United States Championship. Kane quickly gained control, but MVP had the advantage after attacking Kane's injured ribs. Kane came back, and targeted MVP's ribs. Kane dominated until MVP rolled outside the ring and was counted out. Kane won the match, and MVP retained his title as a title could not change hands on a countout.
Next up was the WWE Championship match.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Dark Side plays as fire explodes on the stage and the Bladewolf walks out with the WWE Championship around his waist, arena bathed in the sinister, blood red lights. He makes his intimidating walk down the ramp towards the ring and climbs onto the apron, stepping over the top rope. He takes off his coat and tosses it aside before he takes off his title and places it on his left shoulder, staring blankly at the stage.
The votes are then revealed on who will face the Bladewolf for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing match. Mr. Kennedy with 10%. Jeff Hardy with 31%, and Shawn Michaels with 59% and so the winner is...SHAWN MICHAELS!
Shawn Michaels' theme plays to a loud pop and out comes The Heartbreak Kid. Everyone was excited to see something similar to the match between these two at WrestleMania 23. Michaels walks down towards the ring, where Bladewolf stared coldly with his eyes never once leaving Michaels.
Michaels gets into the ring and slowly pauses as he stares Bladewolf down. The two former rivals stare one another down with unblinking stares before Michaels' theme dies down and he takes his entrance gear off and briefly fixes his tights.
Bladewolf shoves his title into the referee's hands while walking forward, going eye to eye with Michaels. The referee hands the title to somebody at ringside before calling for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Right off the bat, Michaels hits a chop across Bladewolf's chest but it seems to enrage the Demon Wolf who just clobbers Michaels with a hard right. Michaels quickly backs off with Bladewolf going after him but Michaels hits a chop across the chest, then another, then another, then another. Michaels gets Bladewolf into the corner and hits more chops to the chest before he gets onto the second apron and starts hammering away at the face of the mask until Bladewolf shoves him right off but Michaels comes running back up and hammers away again with rapid right shots to the face of the mask but again Bladewolf shoves him right off. Michaels runs but is met with a big boot that floors The Heartbreak Kid.
Bladewolf flips his hair back before he grabs Michaels and send shim into the corner where the WWE Champion unloads with a fury of lefts and rights to the stomach and chest before he nails an uppercut, and then a heavy right shot to the jaw of Michaels, flooring The Heartbreak Kid. Bladewolf then begins stomping away on Michaels in the corner, stomping on his chest with hard, aggressive stomps like he wanted to crush Michaels' chest in.
Bladewolf stomps before he grabs Michaels, pulls him to his feet then hits a suplex. Bladewolf gets to a knee and watches Michaels try to recover from his onslaught. Bladewolf got to his feet and walks towards Michaels who got to a knee Bladewolf grabs him by the hair then rams him into the turnbuckle. Bladewolf hits another hard right to Michaels' head, then drives his elbow into the side of Michaels' head.
Bladewolf then picks Michaels up and goes for a powerslam but Michaels slides off and shoves Bladewolf into the corner, making the Demon Wolf stumble back. Michaels rebounds off the ropes then hits a running forearm, doing a kip up afterwards while Bladewolf sits up and whips his head around to glare at Michaels...WHO DOES THE DX CHOP!
Bladewolf got to his feet and charges at Michaels, going for a right but Michaels ducks, Bladeowlf turns...INTO SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Michaels leans against the ropes as the referee begins to count! ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FIVE!...SI-! BLADEWOLF SITS UP!
Bladewolf got to his feet and ducked a running forearm by Michaels who went rolling out the ring. Bladewolf leaves the ring and grabs Michaels before sending him into the steel steps hard enough to make Michaels go right over them. Bladewolf walks over, grabs the top section of the steel steps and tosses them aside before he walks over the bottom section, stalking Michaels. Bladewolf grabs Michaels by the hair and makes him look him in the eyes before he sends Michaels into the barricade.
Bladewolf flips his hair back and adjusts his right elbow pad then his right glove before he grabs Michaels by the throat and drags him over to the steel steps before lifting him up for a Chokeslam but Michaels gets out of the hold and backs off quickly as Bladewolf follows him. Michaels makes it to the commentators tables and grabs a steel chair before he whirls around...AND HITS BLADEWOLF IN THE TOP OF THE HEAD!
Bladewolf falls down to a knee before stumbling a little as he gets to his feet then turns around...INTO ANOTHER CHAIR SHOT TO THE SKULL! Bladewolf goes down hard onto his back and Michaels drops the chair before he takes off the top of the RAW announce table, grabs Bladewolf and places him on top of it. Michaels heads into the ring and then up to the top rope, standing right up before he does another DX chop then jumps off...AND HITS THE ELBOW DRO-! BLADEWOLF MOVES OUT THE WAY! SHAWN MICHAELS JUST CRASHED THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!
Bladewolf leans against the barricade before pushing himself up and flips his hair back before he walks over and grabs Michaels then send shim into the ring apron by the shoulder, causing Michaels to clutch his shoulder in pain. Bladeowlf boots Michaels in the side of the head befor ehe grabs the ring bell...AND CLOCKS MICHAELS IN THE HEAD WITH IT!
Bladewolf tosses the bell aside and backs off as Michaels holds his head, the cameraman getting a good close up to see...THAT MICHAELS IS BUSTED OPEN! SHAWN MICHAELS IS BLEEDING!
Bladewolf watches with sadistic pleasure as some fans booed his actions but most of them cheered. Bladewolf walks over and grabs Michaels before going to ram his head into the steel ring post...BUT MICHAELS SHOVES HIM HEAD-FIRST INTO THE RING POST! Bladeowlf went to a knee, dazed. He shakes his head and stumbles onto his hands and knees, shaking his head.
Michaes grabs the ring bell and waits, watching as Bladewolf stumbles to his feet, before running...AND CLOCKS BLADEWOLF IN THE MASKED FACE WITH THE RING BELL! Michaels tosses the bell aside and stays on his feet as the referee begins counting again! ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FIVE!...SIX!...SEVEN!...EIGHT-! BLADEWOLF SITS UP!
Bladewolf got to his feet and blocked a right from Michaels, then uppercuts the Heartbreak Kid. Bladewolf stomps away on Michaels before bringing his knee down into Michaels' chest. Bladewolf then grabs Michaels and sends him over the barricade. Michaels quikcly got to hisfeet and runs with Bladeowlf in pursuit. The two run to the stage and Michaels runs backstage with Bladewolf in pursuit of him.
The cameraman followed them. Bladewolf chased Michaels into a hallway and ended up loosing him. Bladewolf breathed heavily as he searched for him, checking rooms then slamming them shut when he saw nobody in them. He enters a room where two guys where having coffee and starts throwing things around in search of Michaels.
"HEY!" one fo the guys yelled but got grabbed by the throat...AND CHOKESLAMMED THROUGH THE GLASS TABLE!
Bladewolf then walked up to the other guy and pushed him against the wall. "Where...is...Michaels?!"
I-I don't know! I-I didn't see him!" The man said with fear. Bladewolf growled before he grabs the man...AND TOSSES HIM THROUGH THE WALL!
Bladewolf leaves the ring, still searching for Michaels, looking very much like Jason Voorhees searching for his next victim that's hiding from him. Bladewolf enters the male locker room that is empty just now and he starts his search, tossing bags, chairs, and boxes around in search of Michaels. He checks the shower area but finds nothing which made him growl loudly.
He started exiting the shower area...WHEN MICHAELS BLINDSIDES HIM FROM OUT OF NOWHERE! Michaels attacks the Bladewolf with lefts and rights before he grabs Bladeowlf...AND RAMS HIM INTO ONE OF THE LOCKERS!
Bladewolf goes down to his knees while Michaels quickly runs out the room. Bladewolf gets to his feet and follows after him, falling to a knee for a second before he got back up and tries opening the door but it seems to have been locked. Bladewolf growled before he backs up then runs...AND GOES STRAIGHT THROUGH THE DOOR! Bladewolf breaths heavily as he darts his head left and right, looking for his prey.
Bladeowlf walks down the hallway again, grabbing a passing worker. "Have you seen Shawn Michaels?!" he shoves him onto the table and bounces the man skull off the table. "HAVE YOU SEEN SHAWN MICHAELS?!"
Not waiting for a response, Bladewolf shoves the man off the table...THEN TIPS IT OVER ONTO THE MAN! Bladewolf walks off, looking left and rights and searching rooms. Hell, he even storms into the women's locker room where the ladies were in the midst of changing and were naked but he wasn't interested in that nor their screams as he searched the room, even checking the shower area where Candice Michelle was showering and she screamed.
Bladewolf shakes his head and leaves the room, slamming the door shut behind him. Bladewolf find a sledgehammer and picks it up before continuing to storm down hallways, looking for his prey.
He entered the parking lot where multiple cars, trucks, and the production truck was. He started looking around, clutching the sledgehammer. He didn't see Shawn get onto the top of the car behind him.
"Hey!" He called.
Bladewolf turns...INTO A FLYING FOREARM! Michaels gets to his feet, grabs Bladewolf before he looks around then at the car he jumped off...AND RAMS BLADEWOLF'S HEAD INTO THE CAR WINDOW! Glass went flying as Bladewolf falls down, groaning in pain. Michaels leans against the car.
"Count!" He orders the referee.
ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FOUR!...FIVE!...SIX!...SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE-! BLADEWOLF SITS UP! Bladewolf gets to his feet but Michaels grabs Bladewolf and send shim into the car before he runs off again.
"Come on boy!" He calls back.
Bladewolf fell to a knee before he gets to his feet and picks up the sledgehammer, breathing heavily...AND SMASHES THE CAR WITH THE SLEDGEHAMMER! Bladewolf then walks off after Michaels with the sledgehammer in hand, holding it by the handle so the most of it is sliding against the floor, being dragged across the floor by him. Bladewolf stops outside a door and checks it but find it locked. Bladewolf lifts the sledgehammer up...AND STARTS HAMMERING THE DOOR IN!
Bladewolf breaks the handle off before he kicks the door down and turns the light on but just finds an empty room. he then starts heading back towards the Gorilla position, checking the interview area and behind the curtain before he turns around...INTO SWEET CHIN MUSIC!
Michaels grabs Bladeowlf and starts dragging him, wanting to end this in front of a live crowd instead of backstage. He had just gotten Bladewolf through the curtain and onto the stage in the arena...WHEN BLADEWOLF GRABS MICHAELS BY THE THROAT! Bladeowlf got to his feet before he lifts Michaels up...AND HITS A CHOKESLAM ON THE STAGE!
Bladewolf grabs Michaels and lifts him onto his shoulders...BEFORE HE HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! Bladewolf gets to his feet and glares down at Michaels as the referee begins counting! ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FOUR!...FIVE!...SIX!...SEVEN!...EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN! BLADEWOLF RETAINS THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Dark Side plays as Bladewolf stands tall over Michaels and is given his WWE Championship. Bladewolf stands there and raises the title before he heads backstage with his title in hand...
Hope you enjoyed that. I took it backstage and did a little Friday the 13th with Bladeowlf searching for Michaels, opening doors, shoving things aside, you can thank Friday the 13th Part 3 when jason searches the barn for Chris as inspiration for the searching backstage part.
Remember, this is DEMON Bladewolf, he doesn't give damn if you are minding your business. if you are in his way, he will grab and interrogate you then beat you up. As for the women's locker room? Well, same thing, just he doesn't give a damn about modesty nor female privacy. He's a cold-hearted, demonic monster.
