She needs to fix this. It's been going on too long and her heart breaks every time she sees him. He looks at her through short, sharp gazes almost as though she's nothing to him anymore.
She's losing him and losing herself along the way. They've been there for each other through every high and low and now he's abandoning her.
He avoids her as though just her presence burns him. There's a nothingness in his eyes. He's given up. Given up on her. On them.
But why? After all these years, why now?
