Atem pried his eyes open tiredly and saw a silvery half-moon hanging directly above him in the night sky. He sat up quickly and sand cascaded down his chest and hips, followed by the freezing sting of cold ocean air.

Seto was awake, sitting beside him with his long fingers laced over his fins and gazing up at the dark sky, apparently lost in thought.

Atem took a moment to stare, taking in the way how the moon seemed to make Seto glow with an eerie light, and he shook his head to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"Morning," Seto said listlessly, throwing Atem a warm smile before averting his eyes back up to the sky. "Or night. Whatever."

Indeed, it is night, Atem thought sleepily, patting his face and shivering, scanning the beach for his clothes and spying a dark lump sitting on the rock in the distance. Ah, damn.

"How long was I asleep?" Atem asked, biting back a yawn and drawing his legs up to his chest, shivering. "I should be heading back inside."

"Two hours. And do you want to head back inside?" Seto asked, turning to look at him again, his expression unreadable. "You could come with me instead. We haven't seen the twins in almost four weeks. I'm getting worried. That's…" one moon cycle, Seto finished inside his head and turned his head away, feeling his ears burn at his own words.
Having his memories back definitely changed the way he thought.
Drastically.

"Of course I want to see them," Atem replied indignantly, brushing sand off the backs of his bare thighs. "I'll have Mokuba fly me to the nearest Chrysalis—"

"You don't need a Chrysalis," Seto interrupted him plainly, keeping his eyes fixed on the moon so much that Atem was beginning to feel slightly disturbed.

"Very well. What do I need?" Atem prompted, rising to his feet and dusting the sand off is bare bottom, goosebumps rising from his arms at the eerie bouts of silence he was receiving from Seto. He wasn't sure if he should be concerned. Seto was always keeping secrets.

"You need to want to come with me," Seto said flatly, blinking and turning his head to give him another soft smile. "Come sit in the water and will your fins back. It'll work. Trust me."

Atem stared and wondered if Seto had truly lost his mind.

"Seto…are you feeling alright? I'm worried. You haven't eaten…" he began, and Seto spoke over him, sounding almost like Seth because his voice had softened so much.

"The water is enchanted. Not just in the Chrysalis. We have the ability to make our fins appear at any moment. Pacts…are an extension of our willpower," Seto nodded, aware that Atem was gaping at him, but he continued talking anyway, wanting to explain himself fully.

"I can't believe I didn't figure it out sooner. I theorize that they—the Elders or the merpeople in the legend—made the 'magic pools' during the wars to regulate transforming. Probably because we'd been seen way too many times as 'monstrosities' in the middle of growing our fins on beaches." Seto added, sneaking a look at Atem who looked pale and ashen. "What do you say? Want to give it a try? You're a powerful royal, and it's still a half moon."

Atem swallowed thinly, realizing his mouth was extremely dry as he spoke, "Can I do that? What if it doesn't work? Am I breaking any rules?"

"Who the fuck cares? I take it you don't want to see the twins?" Seto's eyes flashed dangerously, and when Atem saw this glint, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Seto was acting strange because he wanted to nurse the eggs together. Understandable.

"Very well. I'll give it a try, but don't get angry if it doesn't work," Atem grumbled, walking over to the rock and hearing Seto inching towards the sand after him.

He sat down on the cold, rough surface and stuck his ankles down into an oncoming wave, wincing when the icy water washed up over his knees. Hearing a splash behind him, he saw Seto's head bobbing around the edge of the rock before the merman rose up to rest his arms against the rock and lean his head down on it, looking up at him with a strange expression.

"W-What?" Atem shifted uncomfortably and gritted his teeth when they began to chatter.
It was so damn cold, and he was doing this to shut Seto up.
His love and patience were already wearing thin.

"I love you," Seto said simply, and Atem flushed, looking away in embarrassment.

"I love you too," Atem replied quietly, trying really hard not to look at his own flaccid penis sitting sadly between his thighs. It was so small and disgusting….

"Will you stop that? Think about fins!" Seto snapped, sounding more and more and like his old self, and Atem gave him an exasperated look.

"Yes, I do want my fins back! And I can't help it if I think the penis looks strange when it's small!" Atem shot back heatedly, feeling himself burn all over with a mixture of fury and embarrassment. "You had a hard time adjusting back to your—"

"LOOK!" Seto exclaimed gleefully, gripping the rock with whitened fingertips as he pointed at dark red scales creeping up Atem's shins in a linear pattern.

Shocked beyond belief, Atem yanked his foot out of the water to stare at it incredulously.

"Put it back in!" Seto cried, reaching up to grab his ankle and yanking him back down, nearly causing him to topple off the rock.

Shaking and shivering, Atem nodded and kept his calves submerged, feeling as if he was floating out of his body. H-How was this possible?!

"And I know this sounds crazy, but if you're stuck and need help, just ask your father," Seto said solemnly, his skin extremely pale against the darkening ocean water swirling around his shoulders.

Atem lowered his head and said nothing, staring at the way his knees were knitting together, forming an odd, translucent pod the way they usually did in the Chrysalis. Amazing. If he'd known this sooner…

"FUCK!" Seto cursed so loudly, the water shook around his knees.

"What! Don't do that!" Atem cried, feeling a pang of fear shoot through his chest. What had gotten into Seto?! One second he was mild-mannered, and the next he was unpredictable.

"The portrait. Where is it?" Seto hissed, circling the rock and scanning the beach with a shrewd eye.

"Oh. The portrait of an old lady? I took it inside because it was just sitting out here…" Atem said faintly, instantly realizing that had been the wrong thing to do. "I'm sorry. I didn't know."

Seto shook his head and sighed, circling the rock again and scheming. Damn it. He'd been too hasty and didn't ask Atem to grab it before he regrew his fins… He could risk growing legs again, but that was a huge hassle, especially when the hours were flying by and Solomon was expecting them back.

"Kemo is in there?" Seto asked, more to himself than anyone else, and Atem shook his head.

"Damn. Then…I guess I'll be returning without the portrait. Next time I guess," Seto growled, sinking his head underwater and Atem swallowed thinly, diving in after him without thinking.

Thankfully, his fins had finished forming, and he kicked off the rock just to make sure, circling Seto anxiously and reaching out to rest his hand on the prince's shoulder.

"I'm really sorry," Atem said quietly, and to his surprise, Seto lifted his head to give him a bright smile that nearly blinded him.

"It's fine, really. I have something better than a stupid photo. Let's go grab it from my room, shall we?" He held his hand out for Atem to hold, and he watched the king hesitate for a moment before slipping his hand through his and giving him a shaky smile.

"What is it?" Atem asked curiously, straining to catch Seto's eye, but his partner was looking straight ahead at the depths before them, his hair streaming prettily behind his ears, exposing his high, chiseled cheekbones while they powered through the shallow waters.

"Phones," Seto replied happily, and Atem shook his head in exasperation.

Phones, huh?

"PHONES?!" Solomon thundered, holding one in each hand while Mahad held the third, looking deeply regretful. "You let him trick you into bringing human artifacts into this kingdom! Warrior Mahad, I had higher hopes for you!"

"He said he could make them work here," Mahad said desperately, his fury and resentment for Seto rising with each passing heartbeat. "He gave me his word!"

"…H-His word…!" Solomon swelled with rage and sputtered. "And what has he done to make his word worth trusting?! Kidnap my grandson on land? Mate with him illegally in human form? Abandon his colony—"

The phone in his hand rang cheerfully in his hand, and the old merman promptly dropped it, rubbing his wrist as if he'd been burned.

Mahad dove down to the throne room floor after it, catching it just before it landed on the jagged rocky floors below, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end while Solomon' booming voice echoed from above.

"Well? Answer it?!"

Gritting his teeth and feeling like he was at his wits end, Mahad tapped a button and pressed it to his ear, hearing two voices on the other end.

"…Is he picking up? Mahad…?" It was Atem, sounding curious and concerned.

"I don't know. Can't hear shit. Hello? Mahad? Say something if you can hear me," Seto's cold voice filtered in through the receiver, crisp and clear, and Mahad froze, surrounded by the cold, blue rocks of the throne room floor while shock coursed through his veins.

Im…possible…

He was holding a human phone to his ear… One that worked…underwater.
At the deepest part of their kingdom. The throne room floor.

"I-I can…hear you," Mahad said through numb lips, unaware that he was slowly floating upwards. "A-Atem, is that you?"

"No, its me, you idiot," Seto insulted him right off the bat, and Mahad breathed a tiny sigh of relief. Ah, Prince Seto. Always rude, unrelenting, and unlikable.

"…But yeah, Atem is with me and we're both coming back to see our twins. Pick up the other phones, won't you? I need to know that they all work." Seto demanded, and Mahad hastened to obey, but to his surprise, Solomon was already answering the one that rang in his hand.

"M'boy? Did you make this tellyphone? Very nice!" Solomon praised, his cheeks tinged pink, and Seto recoiled, shoving the phone into Atem's tanned hand, feeling nauseous.

Atem pressed it tentatively to his ear and spoke, "Yes?"

"You did?" Solomon beamed, and gave Mahad a gleeful smile. "Did you hear that? My grandson made this possible! Let's hold a banquet in his honor!"

"No, it was Seto's doing…!" Atem said loudly, and the phone was snatched out of his hand by Seto who was steaming from the ears.

"Hey, old man, its me, your favorite punching bag," Seto seethed, hearing the old king grunt in response.

Atem blinked, startled by the rough language coming from Seto. How he hadn't been murdered by Solomon on the spot was a mystery.

"Well, hello Prince Punching Bag," Solomon replied casually, floating over to the throne to sit down regally, and Mahad watched this fearfully from a distance, not wanting to get too close lest he start suffocating too.

"I did what you asked me to do, but I left the portrait of the Elder on land because I was too hasty coming back down. I'll get it next week, okay? When I come up to see my daughter and my brother," Seto said, willing his voice not to shake. "I'll also be transporting these phones to every commander and guard in the palace. Don't try and stop me."

There was a long silence on the other end.

Mahad held his breath, inching behind a pillar for safety. He saw Solomon look away into the distance thoughtfully, undoubtedly being insulted by Prince Seto?

Atem held his breath, trying to hear what his grandfather was saying on the other end, but it was completely silent. What was happening? If he didn't know any better, it sounded like Seto was backhandedly asking for…permission.

"Ah I see. Very well. And is it true you made steel cuffs that block thoughts?" Solomon continued casually, and Seto grit his teeth.

Word sure got around fast.

"Yes," Seto replied, itching to hang up, but the old man wasn't done.

"I want to draft up a treaty of peace with you and your colony," Solomon said formally, nodding at no one in particular. "I demand peace for the next millennia, at least! I'm officially retiring after this stressful ordeal, which means you and Atem need to take your thrones seriously."

"Don't have a throne," Seto replied cattily, and Atem grimaced, shaking his head and drawing a line across his throat.

Stop fighting with him! Atem raged at Seto in his mind, but he was blocked out.

"I have the power to give you one. You and your brother," Solomon replied stiffly, waving his tail back and forth underneath him while he sat up straighter in the throne. "You are Prince Seto, correct?"

"Yeah, the one and only," Seto replied dryly, rolling his eyes, and seeing Atem make dramatic hand motions, asking him to hang up. "Guess this means we're good?"

"Whatever that means. I suppose we are 'good,'" Solomon huffed, and he pulled the phone away from his ear to press a button with great showmanship before he glanced over at Mahad and said, "How do you turn this thing off? I'm done talking with him."

Seto heard this on the other end and palmed his face in agony. Great. Perfect.

He hung up and gave Atem a tired smile. "Fixed," he said weakly, waving the phone. "He said he could appoint Seth and I thrones, probably because he's older than the fucking Hydra, and he insists we sign a peace treaty for the next millennia. This means I've officially got his blessing because that old coot is finally retiring."

Atem opened his mouth and nodded.
He couldn't stop nodding.
V-Very well. A peace treaty and a crowning!
And according to Seto, his grandfather was 'older than the fucking Hydra'?
He had really improved his mer-vocabulary because that was a true insult indeed.

"Where did you learn how to say that?" Atem asked instantly, and the answer he received was wholly unsatisfying.

"I heard someone say it," Seto said, shrugging. "Ready for the swim back or do you want to ride a whale?"

Atem opened and closed his mouth again, his voice once again eluding him.
Every time Seto opened his mouth, he sounded extremely pompous, like he'd spent his entire life as a sheltered royal underwater.

"I want to do the journey myself…for stamina," Atem replied weakly, his head spinning as he wondered how much had changed in the time he was on land. "Are you feeling ill?"

"No," Seto replied, giving him a strange look. "Are you feeling ill? Seth has a few whales on retainer—"

"It's fine! We'll do the journey alone. I want to spend time with you and…talk!" Atem whispered, reaching forward to grab Seto's hands, and Seto gave him a playful smile.

"We're talking now. Let's grab some food before we head back," Seto gave his hands a squeeze and darted for the door to his room. "Dare me to check on Seth? He was fucking that Hunter this afternoon."

Atem's jaw dropped again, and he clapped a hand to his mouth to prevent a loud shout of laugher from escaping.

"Yeah, its funny until it's not," Seto grinned and swam forward to grab Atem by the hand, leading him out of the room and straight for the banquet hall. He was famished. After that vigorous love making session, his stomach was growling, and he was craving…fish. All kinds of it, and possibly several dishes of cold, marinated blennies, which he remembered with a terrible jolt—that they were Joey's favorite food of choice. Damn. He really ate like a warrior.
Seth wasn't lying when he said that 'in jest.'

Atem felt Seto's hand tighten around his wrist and he stared at the back of Seto's light brown hair, feeling as if something was really off about him.

They swam into the dining hall and were immediately greeted by three octopi, who rushed back into the kitchens to grab them something to eat, and Atem kept staring at Seto, trying to figure out what had changed. He didn't look different at all.

Was it the lovemaking?

"What?" Seto gave Atem a handsome wink and bit back a laugh. "You want to fuck again before we leave?"

"No. I want to know what's gotten into you," Atem said firmly, just as a tiny octopus came zooming across the table to set a plate neatly arranged with an array of colorful fish, eggs, and human fruit.

He tried not to feel astounded by how fast Seto's colony had grown. The variety on the plate said it all. It was a luxurious blend of land and sea, the best of both worlds, truly fit for a resort.

"Dig in. Those are fresh, I get them dropped every three days by cargo ship," Seto pointed at the grapes, pineapple, and strawberries on Atem's plate and gave it the king an encouraging nudge. "You love strawberries too, right? You and Adina—"

"Yes, very good. We love those things, and stop dodging my questions," Atem folded his arms across his chest and narrowed his eyes threateningly. "Tell me what happened. You're awfully quiet, which means you're hiding your thoughts around me when you never used to do that. What happened while I was away?"

"Am I different?" Seto asked casually, and Atem stared at him, wondering if he was joking.
Yes, Seto was different.
The lovemaking on the rock had been phenomenal and almost magical.
He was treating the octopi and guards with even more indifference, if that was possible.
He also wasn't staring at everyone who swam by and waved at them formally.
He'd suggested returning to Muran by way of whale, which was extravagant and unnecessary.
Earlier, he'd insulted Solomon with an age-old phrase reserved for enemies.
Prior to that, he was babbling about the moon, when before, he'd dismissed it as 'nonsense'.

Right now, he was eating without a care in the world.
It was disturbingly different.

"So, you hate this…version of me," Seto said thoughtfully, chewing slowly and reminding himself to keep a pleasant face. Digging through his memories, he knew merpeople were free to mate with other people as much as they wanted because everyone lived to be as old as Solomon, it was expected of them to go off and explore other people.
Did…Atem want to do that now?
Fuck. What awful timing.

"I never said I wanted to go off and see other people," Atem said quietly, his cheeks reddening when he heard Seto's thoughts. "I thought you did. And that's not the question I'm asking."

"No. I was dealing with it in my own way," Seto replied, trying to stuff his embarrassing behavior back down his brain while his cheeks burned. "I shouldn't have run away like that. I consulted Seth and ended up reading a lot about pacts. You don't have to worry."

There was an awkward silence, so Atem took this chance to slowly take a few bites of his food, enjoying the crisp sweetness sin his mouth that made his eyes water.

"I don't hate this version of you—" Atem began, and Seto had talked over him, saying, "I've recovered pieces of myself—"

They stared at each other and Atem was the first to break the silence with a hearty laugh.

"And? What have you remembered?" The king prompted, propping his head up on one hand and gazing lovingly at Seto. "I'm happy to hear this."

"…I remembered…too much," Seto replied heavily, his expression darkening with sorrow so fast, a dark aura shrouded his shoulders. "Death. A lot of it. And Mokuba…doesn't want to remember, which means I need to go back up to strengthen the pact Elder Iota made on him so that he can live happily."

Stunned, Atem reached out and rested a reassuring hand on Seto's shoulder, feeling his palm heat up wonderfully at the touch.

"I'm choosing to shoulder the burden of remembering, for the both of us, so he can keep his happiness," Seto declared, shaking his brown bangs out of his eyes and staring down at his empty plate. "I really was running around on land around the age of 10. Elder Iota relocated me to safety every time the family suspected I wasn't aging."

Atem nodded quietly and gave Seto's shoulder another squeeze. He could feel tears oncoming and sensed Seto's embarrassment.

"I'll…eat in my room. Come get me when you're composed enough to make the journey?" Atem said hastily getting up to plant a kiss on Seto's forehead. He saw the prince nod glumly and give him a grateful look, his blue eyes already shining with unshed tears, so Atem grabbed his plate and dashed out of the hall, aiming for the towering glass pyramid that he knew was his room.

The panel in the ground was already open, and he didn't think much of it.
Eager for refuge, he barreled through the tunnel which had been decorated with strips of lights and emerged from the other side, dumbstruck to see Seth and the pretty Hunter, tangled up in the sheets with stray scales floating in the room around them, indicating they probably had been mating for several hours.

Atem's eyes watered and he saw stars dot the corners of his vision, but he willed himself to keep quiet.

Seth and hunter were resolutely joined at the hip, kissing furiously, and were oblivious that someone had entered the room.

Unable to breathe, Atem slowly backed into the tunnel and accidentally hit his head on the upper step.

The thunk was loud and both mermen jerked their heads to the side to see the spiky-haired king standing meekly by the entryway, carrying a plate of food that was slowly slipping out of his hand.

"T-The king…" Seth paled, and the Hunter's hands came for his face to pull him into a kiss, and he mustered up all his strength to shove him away.

Dartz growled and lunged for Seth, freezing in fear when he saw Atem gaping at them from the hallway, and lost all his gall. He shoved his hands down his fins to cover his arousal instead and dove for the safety of the sheets to hide himself, his face burning with shame.
Oh gods. Seth had clearly warned him about this happening, but he had insisted, because he selfishly wanted to make love in the luxurious pyramid.

"W-We're…very sorry!" Seth cried, bending himself into a bow and seeing his owl arousal curling embarrassingly out in the water before him, so he hastily covered himself too.

Atem nodded speechlessly and set the plate of food down on the nearest table in arm's reach and turned to swim away, deciding it was safer to reply in his mind instead.

You're fine. Enjoy yourselves, Atem thought anxiously, trying to sort out how he felt about Seth using Seto's bed without permission. Was it always like this between the twins? There were no boundaries between the brothers. They shared everything…right down to each genetic strand….

"What are you thinking about? Seth?" Seto asked roughly, floating apprehensively by the mouth of the tunnel and seeing the color leave Atem's face. What the fuck was that reaction?!

"I wasn't thinking about him," Atem scrambled to defend himself, and Seto caught on instantly, seeing two shadows floating in the room beyond the frosted glass of the pyramid, and his face darkened instantly.

"That…imbecile," Seto seethed, darting into the tunnel and ignoring Atem's frantic shouts behind him.

Don't fight! Please don't fight! Atem begged, rushing after Seto's blue-green fins and emerging through the other side of the tunnel, just in time to see Seto hurtling at Seth with his claws outstretched.

Seth let out a panicked shout and dodged his twin. Seto made an expert turn in the water by flipping himself upside down and powering forward, hissing, "What happened to, 'I won't touch your things without permission?!'"

"You weren't using it! You're living in the Kingdom of Muran! You're the acting King of Muran!" Seth shrieked, narrowly avoiding another swipe of Seto's claws as he pushed off the glass wall to propel himself to the other side of the room.

"Don't touch my shit, you parasitic urchin!" Seto spat as the hunter rose out of the bed to restrain him by catching his wrists and twisting them behind his back, using a classic, hostile-combat technique that warriors often used, so Seto leaned into the hunter, furiously fanning his tail in front of him to push them backwards, and made sure to bend his elbows up, driving them into his ribs, hearing a weak cough, and the grip around his wrists loosened.

The glass shook and rattled when the hunter's back crashed against it, and Seth zoomed forward, fuming, "Don't hurt him! I love him! Leave him out of it!"

"He fought me first!" Seto raged, glaring up at Seth and feeling a familiar fire of resentment curling up in his chest. Seth was always trying to steal his stuff. They always got the same gifts from their parents because they were twins and were treated like 'the same person' their entire childhood, so why the fuck couldn't he just leave this pyramid alone?! It was for Atem!

"I'm sorry! I'm very sorry!" Dartz whimpered from the ground, holding his hands up over his disheveled hair. "It was my idea, your majesty! M-Majesties…" He lifted his head to give Atem a shameful, apologetic nod.

"Shut the fuck up, you worthless petrified rock collector," Seto hissed at him, his rage unbridled. "I built this room for Atem. If you want a nice place to fuck, do some planning on your own. Get out before I burn your faces off."

Seth threw him a reproachful look over his shoulder and helped the hunter off the ground. Together, they floated to the tunnel entrance and disappeared.

Atem shook his head in exasperation and sat down in the sand, exhausted. He waved a hand over his nose when a stray scale floated too close, and Seto saw this, his face reddening with rage again.

"I'm going to spit in his face the next time I see him!" Seto ranted, clenching his fists at his sides, realizing this was why they fought so much. At least Mokuba respected his boundaries. Seth…was sometimes like an unwanted right hand that was growing out of his side.
And Solomon was going to crown them both. Fuck.

"All I have to say is that I hope our twins won't fight as much as you do with Seth," Atem said tiredly, feeling a headache coming on, followed by a pang of loneliness he associated with the urge to nurse. "Let's head back now, shall we?"

"We were treated exactly the same! Does he want his own room to share with a mate?!" Seto cried, intent on getting his frustrations out. "He had every opportunity to build one himself, but no, he just nagged me about this one, and the second I come back, what do we find? Him, mating, on your bed, with that sea urchin piece of human litter!"

"Ah, yes. Very…illustrative," Atem muttered, feeling oddly disturbed by Seto's knowledge of cursing in mer. "I am not upset, Seto. Please calm yourself and let's return. You can tell me how angry you are all the way back."

Seto tucked his tongue in his cheek and chewed it furiously, letting Atem swim forward to grab his hand and lead him gently through the tunnel and out of the room.

A guard approached them carrying a sack full of food and another sack with the phones, and Seto accepted them both, handing Atem the lighter one and seeing the king nod gratefully at him.

"I see you've forgiven him?" Atem said knowingly, relieved that Seto's aura had returned to normal alarmingly fast. "You love each other after all."

"Yeah, but I don't forgive…that fucker," Seto pointed directly above them to the hunter that was circling them anxiously, his long hair streaming behind him gracefully.

Atem swallowed nervously and glanced up, his heart racing with uncertainty. Oh hell. Was Seto going to be picking fights with notable hunters now that he had his memory back?

"It has nothing to do with my memory. He fucked Seth in a bed I made for you. Be more upset," Seto replied darkly, beginning to swim upwards to greet Dartz. "Come with me for protection. Your rank is higher than mine."

Atem nodded and followed Seth anxiously, seeing the Hunter look away fearfully and bow to Seto first, and bow even low when he swam closer.

"Kings—I mean, Prince Se—" The hunter began and Seto cut across him rudely in a manner Atem was all-too familiar with.

"Apologize, or I'll continue to hate you," Seto said coldly, and Atem desperately wished he could be somewhere else. He was right to believe that some parts of Seto's personality were extremely rough.

"I wholeheartedly and deeply apologize for mating in your bed," Dartz said balefully, bowing again and producing a metal can from behind his back, holding it out respectfully with both hands, keeping his head lowered. "This is my gift to show my dedication to your Princess. I brought it for her, in addition to the Great Fish I gifted you as a plea of peace."

"Don't twist your words around. I wasn't hatched yesterday," Seto scoffed, snatching the metal can from his hands and tossing it unceremoniously into the sack over his shoulder, seeing the hunter tense. "You said the tamed fish was a mating gift for Seth. You want peace with me? I'll be giving you several things to bury while on your journeys to the northern seas. So the next time we meet, be prepared, and those actions from you will earn my forgiveness. Got it?"

Atem raised his eyebrows, pleasantly surprised at the change in Seto's tone.

"Yes, right away. I will bury whatever you ask, as many times as you need," Dartz mumbled, and Seto smirked at the top of the hunter's head, turning with a swish of his fins and grabbing Atem by the arm.

"Good. Let's go," Seto sniffed, feeling a swirl of triumph low in his chest. He'd gotten one powerful hunter owing him tons of favors to get back in his good graces. Perfect.
