Day 80: In Which He Revisits Past Failures

"Hey, Elsa?" Jack dropped his head back so it rested on her leg.

Elsa lowered her book to look at him. She smiled with an eyebrow arched in curiosity. "Yes?"

"Can you teach me how to knit a hat with bunny ears? And pom-poms?"

"I suppose…" She sat up, bringing his head to rest on her lap, and started playing with his hair. "Are you sure though? Last time we knitted, you got bored pretty quickly."

"I have sufficient incentive to keep me motivated this time."

"Are you talking about your friends' baby?"

"It's never too early to start spoiling the kid," he mumbled as his arms wrapped around her hips.

She chuckled. "You're just every parent's worst nightmare, aren't you?"

"Like you're not doing the same with Anna's kid!"
