Okay here are the questions:
Question 1 from Ulrich362:
(To Yuji & Chie)
I guess I'm curious to know from Chie or Yuji how their experiences with Duelist Kingdom or Battle City went.
Yuji: We never gone through any of that.
Chie: Yeah, if we did we would appear in the anime but we didn't.
Time for us to have another clash of Ritual Users this time we have our Bracelet Girl, Chie Wheeler, and she is a tough girl to take down I can assure ya, and she said she knows several weaknesses of Alvis' Deck. Can we see what kind of those weaknesses she means, and see if she can exploit them against Alvis? Let's find out here!
Summary: Despite a big battle Yuji lost against Alvis who congratulates Yuji for fighting to the end, and managing to damage him despite the hard setup his field had. Deciding to avenge Yuji's lost, Chie challenges Alvis before he can turn his attention to Yugi who accepts the challenge feeling Chie will give him a hard decent challenge. He was proven correct when Chie displays hard skills with her "Nephthys" cards against the forces of his "Drytron" calvary. Yuji, and Yugi are hopeful that Chie can manage to score a win against the AI...
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole but I own any OCs! ENJOY!
Previously on Ascension of the Dragons:
It was the flashback where Chie softly shakes the lump who was Yuji covered in the blanket to protect himself from the thunderstorm as he looked up revealing his dirt covered face to her making her gasp, "Hey are you okay? What are you doing out here?"
Soon after he's washed, and put on some clothes Chie, and Yuji we're in the living room where she pulls out her Deck, I know! Let's play a game! Well you ready?"
"Now?" Yuji uttered a word finally to her as she nodded with a smile, "Best way to learn is through experience."
"Alvis. I got a job for you." Noah gestured to the screen their in ordering, "Duel Yugi, and take him to me afterward."
"Understood." Alvis gave a frown but nodded forming to data before being in front of the three saying "Due to the Dimensional War, something revived Noah, and now he has plans to take over Kaibacorp, and use it to stop the war... In military fashion of course."
Chie pointed out to him, "But if Noah gave you free will, you can help us get to Noah! Please you have to let us get to him!"
"Sorry, Chie but I'm afraid that I have my pride." Alvis said activating his Duel Disk.
"Alright beat me first before Yugi, Alvis!" Yuji called readying himself before it was forward to the end of the match where Forgotten Soul was destroyed as he closed his eyes saying to Chie, "You did taught me how to Duel after all, and had also helped me gain the confidence I needed from back then."
We're back to the flashback where she shrugged after he asked how she's strong, "Imagination becomes your strength. Anyone can do it, including you. You just gotta be confident."
She then turned to Alvis determined, "I'll be the one to beat you."
"Very well Chie Wheeler. I accept your challenge." Alvis nodded accepting her challenge as they readied themselves.
"LET'S DUEL!"

Ancient powers have survived

It's not a match you're in
It's much more like a brawl
The only way to win
You've gotta risk it all!

Let the duel commence!
It was the beginning of Chie's duel with Alvis while Yuji, and Yugi watched on hoping Chie can handle a powerful being like Alvis. They know Chie is real strong since she taught Yuji how to duel but against a being like Alvis who's able to know, and analyzed the Decks of his opponents, and using attack points rather then Levels to Ritual Summon monsters along with gaining Extra Effects based on those levels they hope Chie can use the weaknesses Alvis didn't count on to her advantage.
Chie 1st Turn:
"Okay I go first!" Chie called to Alvis. From that she looked at her hand before grinning to Alvis who blinked before she called, "For this first move, I'll summon this windy gal from my hand! Defender of Nephthys!"
From that from a windstorm emerged a woman that has long green hair with golden armor on while having on a cape that's red on the inside holding a green slowing sword in the shape of a peacock feather, and having gold boots with black pants on that are on a pattern on her legs with a white cloth around her waist, and having golden arm bands with black gloves on.

You can only use each effect of "Defender of Nephthys" once per turn.
"And due to this gal's special ability, I destroy 1 card from my hand!" Chie called lifting up a card as it shattered into particles but she didn't look bothered grinning, "That allows me to summon a Level 4 or lower Nephthys to join her in battle! So rise on up Disciple of Nephthys!"
What rose up was a small girl having on a red dress with a small green mask on her almost like a helmet while her arms as the small frilless as her dress, a white peacock feather on her chest like a necklace, red shoes with black socks, and a orange like cloth around her waist.

You can only use each effect of "Disciple of Nephthys" once per turn.
"Due to Disciple's ability, I destroy another card in my hand!" Chie called raising the card up where it shattered as her Deck ejected a card showing it, "That allows me to add a Nephthys different from her to my hand!" She shows the monster before grinning, "Then here's my plan. I activate the field spell, Secret Village of the Spellcasters!"
From that the environment around them transformed into a small wooden village looking around.
Secret Village of the Spellcasters
Field Spell Card
If only you control a Spellcaster monster, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards. If you control no Spellcaster monsters, you cannot activate Spell Cards.
"And while this card's in play a player that doesn't have a Spellcaster on the field can't use any Spell Cards." Chie grinned to Alvis who looked at her interested, "Ritual Monsters need Ritual Spells to be summoned... And this card puts a stop to that mechanic! And your non-Ritual monsters can only be summoned in Defense Mode! And if you do that Xyz thing again, then I got a monster who's points match it so you can't get passed it!"
Alvis hearing that shrugged, "Interesting plan... And since you have a Spellcaster you can use your Spell Cards." He then looked at her hand before asking, "But will it be enough against me?"
"We will see here." Chie grinned to him ending her turn.
Chie's Hand: 1/Field: Secret Village of the Spellcasters (Field Zone), Defender of the Nephthys (Attack Position), Disciple of the Nephthys (Defense Position)
"With the way her field is she locked down Alvis' ability to Ritual Summon, and also set up a defense that can block his assaults..." Atem said to Yugi seeing this. He then nodded, "And all of his non Ritual monsters have 2000 points so Disciple is the perfect card to use."
"Yes, Atem she set up a good field... But why doesn't Alvis look worried?" Yugi asked a bit nervous seeing Alvis' calm look.
Alvis 1st Turn:
"My turn draw!" Alvis called drawing looking. He then looked at Chie before saying, "First off, I'll activate Drytron Delta Altais' ability in my hand. By Tributing a Ritual Monster, or a Drytron from my hand or my field I can summon this card from my hand or my graveyard. I sacrifice Drytron Zeta Aldhibah from my hand, and summon Delta Altais from my hand!"
Delta Altais flew up galloping on the field.

You can Tribute 1 other "Drytron" monster, or 1 Ritual Monster, from your hand or field; Special Summon this card from your hand or GY in Defense Position, then you can reveal 1 Ritual Monster or 1 Ritual Spell from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, the turn you activate this effect. You can only use this effect of "Drytron Delta Altais" once per turn.
"When it's summoned from it's effect, I reveal a Ritual Monster, or Ritual Spell card from my hand to draw another card."
Alvis shows he has a Ritual Monster which is different called Demise, Agent of Armageddon before drawing a card as Yuji blinked, "Demise? That card isn't a Drytron..."
"No, it's not." Alvis confirmed before saying, "Drytron has the potential to use all Ritual Monsters... I don't limit it to just both the Rituals I used against you. I then activate Zeta Aldhibah's effect in my graveyard! It has the same summoning conditions as Delta Altais!"
Delta Altais vanished as Zeta Aldhibah rose on up growling.

"When summoned from it's ability, I add a Ritual Spell to my hand." Alvis said as his Deck digitized a card as he reveals it to be Drytron Meteonis.
Chie seeing the card pointed out as he added it to his hand, "Even if you do got your card thanks to Secret Village of the Spellcasters, you can't activate it since you don't have a Spellcaster in play!"
"That's true..." Alvis nodded before saying, "However, I can do a Normal Summon still."

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 2 or lower monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but it has its effects negated.
"That isn't a Machine..." Chie trailed off seeing it.
"No but I have another use for him... When Normal Summoned, I take a Level 2 or lower monster from my graveyard, and summon it but at the cost of it's abilities. Normally due to the effect of Zeta Aldhibah, and Beta Altais, I can't do this... However since I can only Special Summon monsters that can't be Normal Summoned the turn I used either of those abilities that wouldn't matter if I already summon one of those monsters by that method when properly summoned! So I'll once again summon out Delta Altais!"
Delta Altais rose up again growling.
Drytron Delta Altais: (Defense Position/Effects Negated)
"That allows me to tune level 3 Junk Synchron with Level 1 Delta Altais!" Alvis called as Junk Synchron turned to 3 stars while Delta Altais rose up turning to 1 star.
"Tune?" Chie asked confused what Alvis meant as she watches the Synchro Summoning in front of them.

If that target destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster in the Graveyard.
"1800 points..." Yuji trailed off seeing how much power the Synchro Monster has despite seeing the last summon method they haven't seen.
"So that's Synchro Summoning..." Yugi trailed off in awe seeing it.
Alvis then added, "And then I'll activate the effect of Drytron Gamma Eltanin from my hand! Same conditions as my other Drytrons!" Zeta Aldhibah was exchanged for Gamma Eltanin.

Delta Altais rose up again beside Gamma Eltanin.
Drytron Delta Altais: (Defense Position)
"That allows me to overlay Delta Altais, and Gamma Eltanin!" Alvis called as the two glowed yellow flying in the Overlay Network, "That way I can construct the Overlay Network!"
The two entered the Galactic Portal as it gave it's signature explosion.
"When the stars align with the constellation it can create infinite possibilities for those to create the path for them to have numerous ways for all creatures to be unique. Xyz Summon! Arrive from the Draco Constellation, Rank 1. Drytron Mu-Beta Fafnir."

(ORU: 2)
"Whenever this card is summoned, I can send a Drytron card to the graveyard." Alvis said sending a spell. That was before he gestured his arm to Armory Arm, "Then I activate Armory Arm's special ability! By equipping this card onto a monster on my field that monster gains 1000 attack points!"
"What?" Chie asked shocked.
Armory Arm attaches itself onto Mu-Beta Fafnir who roared gaining strength.
Drytron Mu-Beta Fafnir: (ATK: 2000 + 1000 = 3000)
"That means Secret Village of the Spellcasters almost done no good!" Yugi cried in shock, "If he Ritual Summoned after summoning that monster then it would be bad..."
Yuji grunted praying to Chie that she will be okay. Alvis had certainly done the opposite of what Chie was hoping for, and now he has a strong monster on the field even with Secret Village on the field, and not to mention even without his Spells he still can pull a comeback.
Alvis then called, "And now Mu-Beta Fafnir attack Defender of Nephthys! Armored Draco Constellation!"
Mu-Beta Fafnir charged a blast attacking Defender destroying her as Chie cried out a bit stepping back. (Chie: 2400) "This then triggers Armory Arm's effect! At anytime the monster it's equipped with destroys your monster in battle, you take damage equal to that monster's attack points!" Mu-Beta Fafnir fired another light blast striking Chie pushing her back with a cry landing hard. (Chie: 1000)
"Chie!" Yuji cried worried.
Chie slowly stand up grunting breathing as Alvis said, "You may have stopped my Ritual Summons but you haven't stopped what my Deck can do... Even without Ritual, it can still fight. I place 1 card down, and end my turn."

Chie 2nd Turn:
Chie breathed before grunting drawing, "My turn! I draw!" She looked before calling, "And while we're at it the effects of the cards that had been destroyed activates!"
The two cards appeared raising from the graveyard which made Alvis blinked before Chie explained, "First of as Chronicler of Nephthys was destroyed by a card effect, and sent to the graveyard during this Standby Phase, I add a Nephthys card to my hand!" She added a card before adding, "And as this card was destroyed it reveals during my Standby Phase!"

Seeing it Alvis widen his eyes as Yuji jumped up, "Oh yeah! Sacred Phoenix!"
"Sacred Phoenix' other ability activates! Since I had just summoned this gal after she was destroyed by an ability, I can destroy all of the Spell, and Trap Cards on the field!" Sacred Phoenix shot a light throughout the entire field coating it in flames taking out Secret Village, Armory Army, and Alvis' set card which was a Urgent Ritual Art. Actually in that case Alvis called, "Well before it goes, I activate Urgent Ritual Art!"
Urgent Ritual Art
Normal Trap Card
If you control no Ritual Monsters: Banish 1 Ritual Spell from your hand or GY; this card's effect becomes that card's effect that Ritual Summons a monster when the card is activated.
"With a Ritual Monster absent from my hand, I can banish a Ritual Spell from my hand or graveyard, and have this card's effect become that spell's!" Surprising the three Drytron Meteonis appeared glowing as one of Mu-Beta Fafnir's Overlay Units was removed.
"The Cosmic Contract from the Draco Constellation is formed! From the power of this Star Soul may it inherit it's destruction! Ritual Summon! Level 4, Demise, Agent of Armageddon!"

If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 face-up Ritual Monster you control; while it is face-up on your field, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of your Ritual Monsters' effects.
"And when this card is Ritual Summoned, your Sacred Phoenix is destroyed!"
Demise attacked Sacred Phoenix destroying her just as she destroyed the spells, and traps. With the loss of Armory Arm, Mu-Beta Fafnir's points dropped.
Drytron Mu-Beta Fafnir: (ATK: 3000 - 1000 = 2000/ORU: 2 - 1)
"Even though she lost Sacred Phoenix for now it's now not strong enough to deal damage!" Yugi smiled seeing this.
Chie then grinned, "Well I ain't done quite yet... I'll then activate Pre-Preparation of Rites!"
Pre-Preparation of Rites
Normal Spell Card
Add 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand, and add 1 Ritual Monster from your Deck or GY to your hand whose name is listed on that Ritual Spell. You can only activate 1 "Pre-Preparation of Rites" per turn.
"This card adds Devotee of Nephthys, and Rebirth of Nephthys to my hand which is what I'll do." Chie said adding the cards.
Alvis narrowed his eyes saying, "Normally Pre-Preparation of Rites only activates by adding a Ritual Spell, and a Ritual Monster who's name is on it's text to the hand which is usually to Ritual Summon that monster... But your using the Ritual Spell's additional effect to add the monster so it bypasses that restriction."
"Exactly, and like Yuji's Revendread Reorigin, Pre-Preparation of Rites allows me to add cards since both those cards have those listed Ritual Monsters on the spells despite those two cards summoning any Ritual monster of there archetypes. For Yuji's case he can only add Revendread Slayer... But to me I get one of two monsters!" She shows two cards as she said this before adding, "Next up, I'll activate Rebirth of Nephthys!"
Rebirth of Nephthys
Normal Spell Card
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Nephthys" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. Then, if you Tributed "Devotee of Nephthys" or "Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys", you can destroy 1 card on the field.
"This card allows me to Ritual Summon any Nephthys as I want from my hand by using monsters from my hand, or field!" Chie called as she gestured to Disciple, "I chose to offer the Devotee in my hand!"
A blue phoenix like sorcerer rose up vanishing as the altar appeared as she raised her arm up.
"Flaming Sorceress of the Phoenix! Take the soul of the phoenix worshipper, and be reborn! Ritual Summon! Level 2, Conductor of Nephthys!"
What rose was a woman similar to Disciple of Nephthys except her cloth was replaced by a fancy cape, and wears a white shirt along with her dress with having long red hair that has gold clips that make up as braids with a grin.

"Conductor! That must be what she added with Disciple's effect! A perfect card for her!" Yuji grinned at this.
Yugi nodded agreeing with Yuji, "Yeah when summoned, it can summon another Nephthys Ritual Monster from her hand or her Deck while counting as a Ritual Summon." He then added with a smile, "And if it gets destroyed or Tributed by a Nephthys then she can destroy a Nephthys from her Deck, Hand, and Field each."
"I never seen this Nephthys Ritual Monster before..." Alvis trailed off seeing Conductor before noticing it's doing it's summoning ability, "And from what the King of Games said... What your summoning next might be, unimaginable."
"You don't have to imagine it cause I'm summoning it!"
From Chie's declaration she called, "Cerulean Phoenix! Clad yourself in the blue flames of your peers, and take the souls for your worshippers to be reborn to break the seal! Ritual Summon! Level 8, Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys!"

"Then due to Rebirth's effect after I had sacrificed Devotee to Ritual Summon it destroys Demise!" Chie added as the spell fired a blast enveloping Demise destroying it without mercy. That was when she grinned calling, "Next up, I activate Cerulean Phoenix' own ability!" Celrulean Phoenix glowing bright, "By destroying any number of Nephthys cards on my field, I can destroy the same number of monsters on your field!"
Hearing that Alvis closed his eyes as Disciple shattered from the flames before charging at Drytron Mu-Beta Fafnir destroying it leaving Alvis' hand empty defensless before the two Ritual Summoned Monsters.
"She wins!" Yuji cried with a grin.
"Alright Cerulean Phoenix, Conductor attack him directly!" Chie called as the two charged fire blasts attacking Alvis who watched on before smiling.
Chie: 1000

Chie wins!
"You did it Chie!" Yuji cried seeing this as she gave a sigh before smiling to Yuji waving.
Alvis stood up saying, "Well, Chie... I must say I didn't expect you managed to beat me. I never seen Conductor, where did you get a monster like that?"
"It was a recent Nephthys." Chie answered with a smile. That was before she shows the card she added with Chronicler's ability, "And if you had survived this turn, I would have used this with Sacred Phoenix." Revealing it's a trap called, Awakening of Nephthys which can have her monsters gain 300 points but also when destroyed summons a new Nephthys but can be destroyed during the End Phase.
Alvis nodded before closing his eyes, "You are good duelists... But now that I failed in my mission, I must await my punishment."
"Hey hey wait a minute!" Yuji cried hearing that as Alvis looked over to him, "You can just forge your own road you know."
Alvis raised an eyebrow as Chie asked him, "Don't you know what it's like to think for yourself? You have Free Will so you have the right to decide what your path will be like."
"For... Myself?" Alvis asked hearing that looking at his hand.
"Yeah you can be anything you want." Yuji smiled nodding to him, "You can also aid anyone you want without anything stopping ya."
Alvis looked at them staring before he closed his eyes, "I'll give that some thought... For now though you got Noah to find."
With that he walked off vanishing in data as they stared on. Chie asked the boys, "Will we see him again?"
"I hope so..." Yugi admitted trailing off. "Come on we better find everyone!"
They nodded running off to find the Lancers.
And the end of the duel ended like I thought it would; Chie won. Nephthys are quite an effective Deck to use, and against Drytron it sure is effective with it's ability to destroy cards so Alvis wasn't able to counter much, and thanks to Conductor being a new Ritual Monster (months back at least) he didn't know what to do against it so Chie was able to use it to win against Alvis. Next chapter we can see a Lancer who haven't dueled yet against another OC this time someone who uses a recently new Ritual Deck which is pretty interesting. Can Dipper managed against what the next Deck is, Magikey? Be sure to ask the cast questions, and be sure to review!
