Hi guys Azza here!
Ok so we're into the next Arc so I just want to give a bit of a heads up about it. Quite a lot of this arc is going to be simplified as you'll come to realize upon reading this chapter. This is simply because of the following two Arcs, the second one being massive in scale as most One Piece readers/watchers will know.
That being said, you will also tell that there is still the important setup here because this arc does introduce important characters so I'm not short changing you guys on that end I'm just glossing over or ignoring bits I don't think are strictly necessary.
Hope you guys are ok with that!
Anyway onto the reviews!
Dragonborn2704 – Welcome to my world on that word count haha! I knew it was going to be way longer than any of the previous volumes but even I didn't see us hitting 600k and still being three whole arcs out from the timeskip. Especially since we started at Alabasta and not the beginning.
But hey, that's One Piece for you!
JballinR12 – I think my idea for the time skip will work well. Basically, my plan is to show where and with whom each person ends up with because they aren't all going to be canon.
Then, about oneish years into the time skip will be my custom version of Strong World which will involve Natsu, Luffy, Rayleigh and mystery Servant team up. So yeah, when I say custom Strong World its literally only going to be that in name only, baseline plot will be extracted and its going to be a completely custom arc.
That's about all I can say though haha!
Erasenpai946 – There is a Natsu vs Kizaru rematch coming though as you know its going to be chaotic all round. Last time, Natsu was getting used to Kizaru being busted and having Light Speed attacks and movement speed but he'll be ready for that in round two.
As for pairing Luffy, I haven't really decided on anything yet. I feel that because Natsu literally murdered three Celestial Dragons, Hancock would likely fangirl over him but I'll decide that when I get to it. Yamato on the other hand is firmly going to have a semi friends with benefits/lovers type of thing with Natsu however that will also involve two mystery Servants who Yamato has contracted to her.
As for Natsu and Erza I can't say much on that topic without spoiling stuff.
Anyway on with the story!
I do not own Fairy Tail, One Piece or the Nasuverse.
Welcome To Amazon Lily
/Natsu's POV/
It was a strange yet familiar sensation. It turned out that when Kuma touched a person and they vanished; he wasn't obliterating them but rather he was simply sending them away. His powers now made more sense in hindsight and it was something he'd come to better understand on his week-long flight across the world.
He was using his Devil Fruit power to reflect.
He idly wondered how Kuma was able to accurately target where he wanted people to go or if it was some kind of subconscious action that the Devil Fruit itself did for him? Either way, he felt his body begin to rocket downward and knew he was going to be at his destination.
"Did we really need to have Kuma do this," Ahnk asked curiously as their body rocketed toward an unknown island. "I mean we've spent a week just flying through the air instead of training or something!"
"I thought the same thing until I realized that we really needed the week, Ahnk," Natsu replied evenly. "That temporary buff we got from the Blood Magic has all but worn off so this week has given me time to replenish my lost reserves. Sure, I'm not able to sleep, but being able to recover my body physically is good enough for the moment."
"We do need to sleep at some point though," Aava chimed in tiredly. "None of us have slept since Thriller Bark when we got knocked out … and that doesn't even count!"
"It has been a busy couple of weeks for us all, Aava. Trust me guys, I'm just as tired, but we've still got work to do. Once we can assure ourselves that everything is alright, we can rest."
"Hold any thoughts of rest for a sec," Ahnk cut in as all three focused back onto Natsu's body. "We're about to crash into that mountain!"
"Yay …"
That was the lacklustre cheer Natsu gave as he smashed into the side of the mountain, drilling through rock to come into a massive cavern, bounce on something exceptionally soft, and be flung back into the rock wall once more.
Striking the side of the cavern wall, Natsu fell down to the floor along with some rubble, his body unable to move through his own will until he'd fully come to a stop. The moment he did however, his eyes opened and pain shot through his entire system.
"SHIT-!"
"Unsurprising," Ahnk sighed as they all felt the referred pain. "That's the price of Blood Magic for you …"
"WARN ME ABOUT THAT SHIT NEXT TIME!"
"Oh sure, next time we're in a Life-or-Death situation I'll sit you down and walk you through the intricacies of a Magic so obscure most worlds don't even have the real version of it!"
"FUCK YOU!"
"Hate to be the one to break up the conversation," Ahnk cut in as both Hybrid's looked toward her expectantly. "But we're not alone in here …"
Natsu immediately returned his attention toward the present, his eyes adjusting to the near total darkness of the cavern as he made out the form of something rather large. Narrowing his eyes, the first thing he noticed were dozens of glowing red eyes all around the area along with hissing sounds.
"Ok … I hope that whatever is looking at me right now is sentient, or I'm really gonna be pissed."
"Sentient," a voice that sounded like it held an echo to it replied sultrily as the dozens of red spots moved closer toward the massive figure. "I can assure you that I am certainly 'sentient' although …"
Flames suddenly flared up along the walls of the cavern to reveal the figure currently speaking to him. Natsu was instantly frozen upon viewing the entity before him, an action that brought a smirk to its face.
"That's right, that's the look I'm so fond of in mortal kind," the entity hissed as it lowered itself down to his level, its face easily larger than a house as it licked its lips, revealing razor sharp fangs. "And my … what a handsome young mortal man they've sent me to feast upon this time too."
"Holy shit," Natsu muttered out as he took a step forward, an action that the entity clearly hadn't predicted as its confident and predatory gaze seemed to instantly vanish for one of confusion. "You're beautiful …"
The figure reared back, rising to its full height as it regarded him in shock. As they did this, Natsu noticed multiple black snake like entities that were attached to its head all seemed to look directly at her before making hissing sounds.
"S-stop laughing," the figure snapped, its echoing voice no longer present as it swatted at the snakes. "How dare you-!"
"Excuse me, sorry to be so forward but I couldn't help but compliment you," Natsu replied sheepishly.
Truly, he hadn't actually meant to say that aloud. But the form of the clearly obvious woman before him was something close to that of a Dragon he couldn't help but blurt it out.
"Y-you-!"
"Hi!"
"Y-you've gone and ruined my whole act now," the woman hissed furiously, crossing her arms beneath her breasts which were literally hill sized. "Who do you think you are!?"
"Um … Sorry, my name is Natsu and-."
Natsu was surprised when all the hissing stopped with even the snake like hair ceasing its noise to look directly at him with gaping mouths. The massive woman herself openly gaping at him, her face beet red.
"C-could you repeat that?"
"My name is Natsu …"
"Natsu," the woman said as she slithered toward him using her massive tail, dropping down to the ground to stand on her two claw like legs before him. "As in Natsu Dragneel, correct?"
"Yeah, that's me."
The woman simply stared at him for a moment before reaching out with a clawed hand and grabbing him, bringing him closer to her eyes as if inspecting his appearance. As she did so, Natsu took the time to inspect her appearance and found that this woman seemingly was some kind of Lamia/Humanoid.
Her body was mostly covered in gold and black scales, the ones on her legs being mostly gold in colouration save for those near her claw like feet which were closer to the black colouration.
Her tail was easily over one hundred metres long which she clearly used to travel around. The scales on the tail were a mixture of the black and gold colouration and he couldn't help but admire how well kept each scale truly was.
But what drew him in more was her hair. It started off as a deep purple but as it went further out, it bunched together to form the strange black and Blood Red snakes that seemed to possess sentience of some kind. They all clearly behaved independently of the woman so he idly wondered just what their purpose ultimately served.
His eyes met with the woman's and he felt something try and strike at him, his Aura and Crash Magic pushing back against it which seemed to surprisingly satisfy her. With a nod, the woman lessened her grip and placed him back on the ground in front of her before slithering over to a massive hot spring and sliding in.
This was the moment that Natsu realized the woman wasn't covering her modesty, not that he was inwardly complaining nor did the woman seem to really care. He smirked slightly at the pleased sigh she let out once she was neck deep in the water, her massive tail lost within the murky depths of the spring.
"You are indeed who you say you are," the woman said with a slight nod. "It is always such a pain when one encounters a fake version of you …"
"Hold up, you've seen people try and fake me before?"
"Oh yes," the woman laughed as she seemed to think about something pleasant. "I enjoyed ripping them apart the most."
"So … I'm guessing we've met somewhere in my future?"
"We've crossed paths several times, both in many forms," the woman admitted as she moved to lean back against one of the rock walls in a casual manner that left nothing to the imagination. "However, I believe this is the youngest I've ever seen you …"
Legendary Figure Of Ancient Greece
The Ravaging Myth
Fallen Goddess
Gorgon (Avenger)
Bounty – 1,117,200,000 Berries
"Gorgon, so that's your name?"
"Well … it isn't my original name, but it is the one I choose to use."
"I see," Natsu nodded as he walked toward the hot spring and sat down on its edge. "Well, if that's what you want me to call you then I've got no problem with that."
"Good, because I would be rather upset if you chose to ignore my own wishes to use that name," Gorgon smirked. "Now then, now that introductions are out of the way, mind explaining why you came crashing through the roof of my humble abode?"
"Well, it all started like this …"
/Elsewhere On The Island/
Several minutes after Natsu crashed into the mountain, Luffy touched down somewhere in the forest below. Almost instantly he was up and about trying to figure out a way back to Sabaody … until he got side-tracked.
"MEAT," the Straw Hat Captain cried as she chased a horrified boar around a clearing. "SLOW DOWN MEAT, I JUST WANT A BITE!"
If massive boars could speak, this one would be very upset at the moment.
Fortunately for Luffy, after much running around he finally caught the boar and promptly ate the entire thing after roasting it. Patting his stomach for a good job well done, the man promptly fell asleep.
And for the record, the boar does indeed protest to such horrific treatment.
Nevertheless, having fallen asleep, Luffy was entirely unaware as two people approached his bloated form curiously. Both had seen him effortlessly kill and eat the massive boar and were rather curious.
"Oi, what do you think this is?"
"What do you mean, Sweet Pea?"
"So, it seems this is another thing to add to the saga of 'What Do You Mean?' it seems."
"I … don't think so," a rather cute blonde replied in amusement as she poked the bloated form of Luffy. "They are clearly human; they just ate that whole boar so they must have gotten fat."
"Ah, so it's a saga of 'Unidentified Things We've Solved Together' is it!?"
"Eh … no, no Sweet Pea," the girl replied with a bemused expression. "The question is though, what should we do with them?"
"Probably bring them back to the village and see Elder Nyon, right?"
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea," the girl nodded before looking around. "Hmm … we can't really carry them, they're too heavy."
"Look, we don't need to carry them," the girl named Sweet Pea cheered as she pushed Luffy, clapping as he rolled along. "We can simply roll them back!"
"Good idea Sweet Pea!"
And so, Luffy was rolled toward wherever the two girls had come from, completely unaware of the trouble he was 'rolling' right on into.
/Natsu's POV/
"So, that's the kind of place this is," Natsu sighed as he undid a knot in Gorgon's hair, much to the delight of both the fallen Goddess and the snakes made from her hair who all hissed in delight. "Of course that idiot would end up sent to a place like this …"
"If push comes to shove, I won't do anything if they try and send him to me for a sacrifice," Gorgon sighed, eyes closed as Natsu combed through her hair using dozens of his tendrils armed with custom made tendril comb attachments.
"Thanks Gorgon."
"Its fine, I'm not interested in picking a fight with you anyway. I'd rather you keep doing what you're doing now …"
"Noted," the Hybrid replied with a small grin as he continued coming through her hair, moving to stand atop her head as the tendrils from his leg stretched out to massage her scalp.
"Mmhm … You really are a natural at this …"
"So I've been told."
"Perhaps I might try and keep you here instead of showing you the way out," Gorgon hummed playfully as Natsu's tendrils slowly retracted back into his leg.
"I assure you, had I no other prior commitments I would certainly stay. Unfortunately, duty demands I leave …"
"I know," the towering form of Gorgon sighed as she held her finger out for Natsu to hop onto. "I'm glad we got a small chance to speak at least, its rather lonely in here."
"Doesn't anyone from the village come up here?"
"Well … they see me more as a God to sacrifice to in exchange for protection rather than a conversationalist. The only other ones who come here are the other Servants and … my Master."
"I'll see what I can do for you while I'm down there," Natsu replied softly as Gorgon slithered toward an opening in the cavern. "Maybe I'll speak with the other Servants?"
"Two of them wouldn't care," Gorgon scoffed as her form seemed to shrink in size in order to fit through the opening in the cavern wall. "In fact, they'd likely tease me about it."
"Really?"
"It would be best if you said nothing," Gorgon sighed as she continued to shrink until she was only slightly taller than Natsu himself.
"Wait … you could do that the whole time?"
"It is rather uncomfortable for me to do since I'm essentially stuffing myself into a smaller vessel. Think of it like trying to fit into clothes you wore as a young teen when you're thirty, it's a real tight fit."
"Ah," Natsu hummed before gaining an amused smirk. "Wanted to see me off that badly, huh?"
"N-not at all," Gorgon hissed as she slapped the back of his head. "I just didn't want you to get lost!"
"Sure, keep telling yourself that," he chuckled in reply, amused at the stream of constant excuses coming from the fallen Goddess behind him.
After some time, the two emerged in open sunlight to appear high above the village Gorgon had spoken of during his long conversation with her. To say he was surprised at just where they'd ended up would be an understatement.
"You're sure you can infiltrate the place?"
"You know future me so you'd know full well what I'm capable of," Natsu replied as his form began to shift.
Rough skin smoothed out, his hair becoming longer to go down just past his rear giving him a rather wild look. Masculine features morphed into feminine ones, though he retained enough muscle to give him a rather intimidating presence regardless, his clothes vanishing to reveal his nude form to Gorgon who eyed his continued changes appreciatively.
"I've been working on this form in private for some time," Natsu said, his voice sounding more and more effeminate as he spoke. "I've seen enough of the female form to construct my own views on how I'd desire myself to look as one."
Show off," Gorgon smirked as the shift from male to female completed itself, a rather sizeable bust and shapely rear emerging as the now female form of Natsu stretched in a rather deliberate manner toward Gorgon.
"So … I pass?"
"Oh, you pass alright," Gorgon hissed as her tongue shot from her mouth, stretching over a metre to lick across a six-pack set of abs, moving up to the right nipple which elicited a surprised moan.
"Ngh-!"
"Oooh, nice and sensitive too! You've outdone yourself," Gorgon whispered huskily as her tongue retracted back into her mouth. "So, what's your name now?"
"Hmm … I never really thought about a name for this form before, never really even considered I'd use it for any extended period of time."
"You could go for a female twist on your own name, it is unisex to begin with after all."
"Yeah, but that runs the risk of being a bit too obvious."
"You would want to pick a new name," Gorgon asked curiously. "Why?"
"I don't know," she shrugged in response. "I feel like with its own separate identity, this form can act independently of my own famous identity."
"Well … I can think of a few names," Gorgon muttered quietly, avoiding eye contact. "Only if you would like some suggestions!"
"Sure!"
"Y-you don't have to be so enthusiastic about it," Gorgon spluttered at the beaming smile being sent her way. "Stop that!"
"Sorry, I'm just excited to hear what you come up with!"
"W-well … What about Alexandra?"
"Hmm … That seems a bit too long."
"Cassandra?"
"Still too long."
"Olesia?"
"Too odd."
"Valentina?"
"Its long but it sounds nice … but something just doesn't fit with it."
Gorgon narrowed her eyes, thinking back on all the female names she'd heard mentioned over the years. She'd never really given much thought to names herself so this was actually a little challenging for her to come up with one on the spot. Eventually however, she did find one name that fit what a female Natsu would be to a T.
"How about … Enyo?"
"Enyo …"
"It is the name of a former Greek Goddess Of War from long ago," Gorgon explained. "She was powerful, courageous, outgoing and always eager to lend a hand to those that required aid. She was an extremely popular Goddess Of War before she abdicated her position …"
"Enyo … I think I like it."
"Y-you do!?"
"Yeah. It isn't too long so its pretty easy to spell, but its also unique sounding. Plus, you just described someone who sounds awfully similar to me so it sounds like that name would fit a female version of myself!"
"W-well," Gorgon stuttered as she avoided her grateful gaze. "I'm glad you like the name …"
"Thanks Gorgon, I would've spent ages trying to come up with one by myself," the newly christened Enyo said as she flew up into the larger woman's field of view. "Then again, if it weren't for you, I would've just walked right on in without even considering it!"
"Y-yes … w-well …"
"Anyway, I'd better get going so I'll see you around," Enyo cried as she flew down the side of the mountain and toward the village, leaving Gorgon to watch her go with a contemplative look.
"How interesting …"
/Elsewhere In The Village – Luffy's POV/
After having been rolled into town and inspected by the village Elder, Luffy was subsequently locked up. Why was he locked up one might be wondering? The answer was quite simple …
The island they had been sent to was home to the Kuja Tribe, a powerful warrior tribe solely made up of female warriors. The entire island was known throughout the world as the isle of women, Amazon Lily.
And so, due to the fact that Luffy was a man, he was locked up.
Currently, Luffy sat stark naked within a sizeable jail cell being gawked at by all the curious Amazons who had never seen a man before. To any normal man, this would be the time to try every trick in the book to get a little action from countless scantily clad, sexy girls with bodies akin to Venus herself!
But Luffy was not that smart.
Instead, he sat in the cell seemingly deep in thought. The women beyond the bars not even registering to his senses as he thought back on everything that had happened to both himself and the rest of his crew.
Kuma had separated them, but his landing suggested that they were still alive. This meant that he could reunite with them and that was something he was eternally grateful for. However, his thoughts then turned to something else.
"So, this is the man," a rather deep and seductive voice purred which somehow managed to snap Luffy out of his musings. "How … interesting."
The first thing Luffy noticed was that all talk from the other Amazons had ceased, all eyes focused solely on the slightly taller woman that had made her way directly to the front of the crowd.
"Who-?"
"Time for a little fun, don't you think," the woman winked as she suddenly walked through the bars, much to the shock of the rest of the girls who all seemed to reach for their snake companions which had turned into bows. "Aww, so suspicious …"
"Who are you," the blonde-haired Amazon at the front of the crowd snapped which prompted the woman before Luffy to smirk and lip her lips.
"My my … It breaks my heart to leave behind such a sight for the eyes, but unfortunately … the man and I are needed elsewhere."
With a snap of her fingers, clothes appeared on the ground before Luffy who managed to begin putting the pieces together.
"Hold on …"
"Shh, not here," the woman whispered as she motioned for him to get dressed into a basic pair of shorts and a blue shirt. "We've got to talk, but not here."
"R-right," Luffy stuttered in confusion as he quickly slipped the clothes on whilst the woman turned back to face the rest of the gathered women.
"My apologies for taking this fine specimen all for myself girls, but what Mama wants …"
Grabbing onto Luffy by the scruff of the neck, the woman raised her free hand and blasted a hole in the roof using a power none of the Amazons had witnessed before. Crouching down with a smirk, the woman made a kissing motion toward the blonde before jumping through the hole with Luffy, escaping the prison.
"AFTER THEM," one of the Amazons cried as they all quickly took off after the pair.
Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, the woman laughed as she lazily flipped and dodged out of the way of a constant hail of arrows. Luffy, who was simply content with being held by the neck for the moment, watched her movements with complete confusion on his face.
"Are you actually Natsu? I thought you were a guy?"
"I can change, and call me Enyo in this form," Enyo grinned as she reached the last house which sat against the towering mountain overlooking the entire village.
The Amazons quickly caught up, the blonde at the head of the group, and moved to surround the pair. The blonde stood mere metres away from Enyo, her snake bow already primed with an arrow aimed right at his heart.
"That is enough, release the man and submit!"
"Mhm, such a succulent word," Enyo purred which had Luffy's eyes bulging out of their socket at her tone and behaviour. "However, I think you'll find that when it comes to such things … I, possess the greater experience."
No one saw her move, the wild, pink haired woman simply vanishing and reappearing on the side of the cliff face mid sprint now holding both Natsu AND the blonde-haired woman who quickly began struggling.
"Oooh, I like the feisty ones," Enyo giggled as she brought the blonde closer so that they were eye to eye. "They're always the most satisfying to break."
"The fuck is with you," Luffy shouted in complete disbelief. "Since when could you act like-like-!?"
"Like what," Enyo giggled as she looked over to Luffy. "Got a secret fetish to share with the class, Luffy?"
"Stop talking like that," the rubber man snapped with a surprisingly fierce blush. "Its just weird as hell!"
Enyo simply smirked in reply, dodging to the left to avoid another series of arrows before reaching the top. Landing on top of the cliff, she looked down to see the Amazons were unable to continue the pursuit.
"Now then, time to find a place with some privacy," Enyo said as the trio vanished and appeared somewhere on the outskirts of the island, overlooking the ocean.
"H-how did you just do that," the blonde-haired Amazon gasped as Enyo released both her and Luffy. "W-we're all the way on the other side of the island!?"
"I'm flawless, that's how."
"Why did you take her with us," Luffy asked in confusion. "I don't really wanna use her as a hostage since she was actually pretty nice to me …"
"Oh, you thought I was nice," the blonde asked cheerfully, all traces of shock vanishing as she clapped her hands together. "I'm glad!"
"You seem rather calm now," Enyo mused as the blonde looked over in her direction with a slight frown.
"Well … I think that despite whatever it was that you just did, and the fact that a woman his helping a man to escape capture …"
"Go on."
"Well … I don't really think either of you seem that bad," the blonde said after several moments. "You clearly are strong and could have hurt my fellow Sisters, yet you didn't. And you could have been angry that we imprisoned you, yet you were fully cooperative."
"I take it that you've never met a man before, have you," Enyo mused which prompted a shake of the head. "Have any of your fellow Sisters seen one before?"
"The only ones who have would be those who go off with the Snake Princess," the blonde replied which earned a raised eyebrow. "They are the warriors who procure what we cannot grow or create locally."
"Interesting," Enyo hummed in thought only for the sound of rustling bushes to alert the trio to the fact that they weren't alone. "Very interesting …"
"What is it," Luffy asked only for Enyo to suddenly vanish and appear in front of Luffy's position, blocking a massive black flail from smacking him in the face. "WHAT THE HELL!?"
"I wondered if they would inform her," the blonde sighed as she inched closer toward Luffy. "I doubt you'll be able to defeat one of the strongest warriors of our tribe."
Emerging from the foliage was a muscular woman with glowing orange eyes and black sclera. She wore little, exposing the countless scars littering her slightly petite frame and held a long lance at her back with a strangely familiar design.
Enyo skidded backward and watched as the newcomer instantly redirected her attention toward Luffy.
'Is it because he's a man?'
Vanishing from place, Enyo intercepted the woman, crossing arms with her as the ground beneath them cracked. The blonde was clearly shocked at the fact Enyo had not only intercepted the mysterious woman, but also managed to match her strength.
"I would love to play with you a little, however I'm a bit preoccupied with these two here," Enyo said as the woman pulled back, dragging her outstretched lance through the dirt on her right. "Though I'll admit, I'm glad to see there is at least a few strong women around here."
"So, there really is a woman aiding the man," the woman said as she rose to her full height. "However, those clothes of yours are clearly foreign which marks you as an outsider. Clearly, you and this man are connected in some way …"
"You could say that," Enyo replied as the woman spun her lance around to her front, a practiced movement he had only seen experts in the field perform before as she easily guarded herself whilst maintaining an offensive stance.
"Marguerite," the woman said as she looked over toward the stunned blonde. "At first, I had planned on issuing a reprimand for being captured so easily … However, this one is clearly powerful."
"M-my apologies, my Queen. I truly misjudged their strength!"
"Queen," Luffy gasped which earned him an annoyed glance from said Queen.
"I shall occupy this one," the Queen said as she motioned toward Enyo. "Your fellow Sisters are on their way to aid in the recapture of the man!"
"Perhaps this would be a good time for you to start running, Luffy," Enyo sighed as she turned her full gaze back onto the Queen. "We'll talk later."
"Hang on a sec, there's only two of them right now so shouldn't we-?"
Luffy cried out in surprise as an arrow nearly struck him in the chest, the rubber man catching it mere inches before it had pierced through. Looking toward the direction the attack had come from, Luffy saw dozens of Amazons charging toward him and decided to bail.
"Go after the man," the Queen snapped as several of the warriors stopped and took aim at Enyo. "This one is mine!"
"Of course, Queen Regent," the Amazons said with slight nods before darting off into the forest after Luffy.
"Now then …"
"Queen Regent," Enyo said as she took several steps forward. "So, if you aren't the one in charge, then who is … Servant?"
"So, you are also aware of my status as a Servant," the Queen Regent mused as she spun her lance around again. "Indeed, I am a contracted Servant to the true ruler of the Kuja Tribe. I just so happen to also be a former Queen Of The Amazons, therefore I take the mantle of rulership in her absence."
"I see. So, who are you?"
"That would be telling," the Queen replied with a slight smirk as she vanished on the spot, a vertical slash meeting nothing but air where Enyo had stood mere milliseconds prior.
"That's impressive speed, a bit too impressive for a run of the mill Servant."
It was obvious that Enyo wasn't fighting back, but instead merely gauging the level of power the Servant possessed as she attacked him with a rather familiar set of attacks at speeds that would leave most of this world in the dust.
'Still, nowhere close to some of the foes I've faced in the past.'
After a series of swift slashes that involved the Queen spinning the lance all around her form, she went to bring the head of it down upon Enyo who merely caught it between her fingers.
"WHAT!?"
"You're good, but there is something I've identified about your style of fighting that renders your chances of victory completely nil."
"That can't be possible," the Queen hissed as she tried to pull her lance away, finding that it wouldn't so much as budge. "How!?"
"Your style is extremely rare, but one I've fought against to the point its basically ingrained into my mind."
"That isn't possible," the Queen snarled as she let go of the lance, the weapon vanishing as two swords appeared in each hand, the Servant charging right for him with enhanced speed. "There's no way you can know this fighting style!"
Enyo simply smiled as she flew backward, a constant barrage of slashes simply unable to reach him as they fought throughout the forest. To the added chagrin of the Queen, Enyo hadn't even made a move to attack her either which stung her pride, forcing her to become more and more offensive until …
"Aaaand, done."
The Queen gasped as a chop to the back of the neck struck her mid jump, smashing her face first into the dirt, knocking her unconscious. Enyo sighed and walked over to the Servant, kneeling down and rolling her over with a curious gaze.
"What is it with me and encountering people with God or Devil origins?"
/Elsewhere On The Island/
"Quickly Sisters, it is imperative that we recapture the man," one of the Amazons shouted as Luffy avoided being struck by a barrage of arrows.
"We must hurry, the Empress is almost back!"
Luffy frowned at that. The woman that the weird girl Natsu was fighting said she was a Queen of these other girls, so who was this Empress? Did they have more than one ruler?
Luffy was snapped out of his musings at some childlike laughter. Looking around, he noticed there was a young girl sitting up in a nearby tree looking at him with a smirk.
"My my, so this is the man everyone is going on about?"
"Man," another voice chimed in as a nearly identical girl seemed to pop into existence on a nearby branch. "He's barely a boy, much less a man."
"Whatever should we do? If we don't bother trying to capture him, our Masters will be rather put out with us …"
"True. Though let's be honest, do we really care?"
The two girls giggled, seemingly lost in their own conversation which Luffy used as a moment to keep running. He barely got ten metres away when one of the girls appeared right in front of him, almost as if she had teleported.
"Well now, that was rather rude," she pouted which prompted Luffy to jump back in surprise. "You'd think having the attention of two perfect Goddesses would be enough incentive to stay put?"
"Goddesses?"
At his questioning gaze, the girl's face went completely blank. Flicking some of her light purple hair over her shoulder, the girl pointed at him, her eyes now completely devoid of emotion.
"You dare deny our beauty?"
"Uh …"
"Come off it Sister," the other girl sighed with a shake of her head. "His libido clearly isn't what drives him like most men so naturally our charm isn't going to affect him."
"You would defend him!?"
"Not really," the other girl shrugged before looking over at Luffy with a smirk. "Buuuut, I could use a little fun!"
"Fun?"
"There's nothing to do here on this island, it's as bad as that annoying one we were stuck on for so long!"
"Come on …"
"Uh … I don't wanna be rude but if you aren't gonna capture me for these other arrow ladies then can I keep on running," Luffy asked which earned him the raised eyebrows of the two young beauties.
"You would ask us to let you escape?"
"Seriously?"
"Uh … yeah, if that's ok?"
"…"
"…"
"Ok."
Luffy blinked at the words of the Sister on the left, noticing the smirk on the face of the right one. Blinking again, the girls started laughing which left Luffy standing awkwardly off to the side.
"Oh my, I think I like this one!"
"Indeed, he is rather amusing in his own way!"
The girls quickly calmed down once they noticed Luffy staring at them like he was lost. With a sigh, the girl on the left sent him a questioning glance as the one on the right spoke.
"We weren't lying, you can keep running if you want."
"Really?"
"Really really."
"Why?"
"Because you asked, silly man."
"Earlier you mentioned you had Masters, so you guys are Servants … right?"
"Yes, what about it?"
"Are you … allowed to … y'know, just do that?"
"No one ordered us to be here," the one on the left sniffed as she looked up into the sky. "We were bored and heard that the entire island was on high alert because of a man and some strange outsider woman who helped him escape, so we were curious."
"Oh …"
"Who is that outsider woman anyway," the one on the right asked curiously. "They knocked out Queen Avenger without even trying."
"You can see what's going on back there!?"
"Well duh, of course we can," the girl on the left scoffed. "We're both Goddesses!"
"Oh yeah," Luffy grinned. "I forgot!"
"Ugh …"
"You aren't really too good at remembering important things, are you?"
"Nope!"
"At least he admits it," girl on the left laughed only for the sounds of rampaging Amazons to meet their ears. "You should probably get moving before they catch up."
"Right," Luffy nodded before shooting them an innocent grin which had both girls' eyes widening in surprise. "Thanks for letting me go!"
And with that, Luffy was off again, leaving behind the two stunned Servants who looked at each other before looking back in the direction Luffy had fled.
"How strange …"
"A man that treated us like ordinary girls …"
Both girls looked back at each other, their identical features both morphing into smirks as they began to fade away in bright purple lights.
"We'll be seeing him soon."
"No doubt about it, Sister."
The two Servants faded away just as the horde of Amazons charged through, their presence in the area masked completely as they made their way back toward the village.
/Meanwhile – First Half Of The Grand Line/
"You are certain this is how you want to do this?"
"We haven't got a choice now; the World Government is already preparing for it!"
"Right …"
"You know why I've called, right?"
"I can guess," the gentle voice on the other side sighed tiredly. "Are you sure that the World Government is refusing to compromise on this issue?"
"I've petitioned the Commander In Chief, Kong, but they're not interested at all in making any kind of deal short of selling out more of my children or allies."
"I see …"
"We've had a good alliance going for several years now," an aged voice sighed tiredly. "We've worked hard to better the seas for everyone within our respective territories and you've paid back the generosity I gave you tenfold. But I sent that letter because I can't do this alone …"
"What you are asking isn't just a simple loan or a request for territory," the gentle voice on the other side of the line replied seriously. "What you are going to ignite is a large-scale conflict."
"I know … I've tried the peaceful way and they won't budge though," the aged voice replied with frustration clearly evident in his voice. "I don't want to put more of my children in the firing line but they all know if we do nothing-!"
"He will be executed," the gentle voice sighed. "Believe me, I am well aware that you are well within your rights not only to challenge the World Government on this, but to make this request of us."
"You don't have to answer today if you need to have your Kings talk it over," the aged man replied calmly. "It is a pretty big commitment from you guys if you do decide to help out."
"But we also cannot tarry in our reply either," the gentle voice sighed. "You shall have your answer by Six O'clock tonight. I will call for an emergency Summit."
"Thanks for this," the aged man said as he leant forward in his chair. "We'll be holding our position for a day since we've got to secure an entrance to Marineford."
"Do you have a secure means of gaining entry," the voice asked curiously as the aged man rose to his feet, a smirk on his face as he looked out over the ruins far off in the distance, World Government forces all over it.
"Gurararararara! You could say that," the man laughed as he looked over to his right. "To be clearer though, we'll have one by three."
"I see. That should actually help your case considerably," the voice hummed. "Very well, we shall speak again soon."
"Thanks for this," the aged man replied sincerely. "I'll owe you guys big time for this."
"You owe us nothing, Whitebeard," the gentle voice replied before ending the call.
"You think they're gonna help us, old man?"
"Hard to say," Whitebeard sighed as he turned toward his First Mate. "With or without them though, the plan goes ahead."
"Obviously," the man snorted in response. "We aren't just gonna abandon him to those bastards."
"No," Whitebeard muttered, clenching his right fist as he looked over at a massive gaping hole behind the ruined island. "No, we're not."
Nodding toward his First Mate, the ships began to advance toward the ruined island. Almost instantly, the forces of the World Government noticed them and panicked. Whitebeard's attention wasn't on them, however, but on the half-broken sign on the half knocked down ancient doorway.
GATES OF JUSTICE
ENIES LOBBY
A small smirk made its way onto the old man's face as he thought about the man he'd met during his meeting with Red Hair. Thanks to his actions here, along with those of that cheeky brat from the Worst Generation, they had a secure means of getting closer to Marineford.
And that, Whitebeard thought as he watched several of his allies begin landing on the beaches of the destroyed Marine Base. That reminded him of the old days, both good and bad. He could only hope he could channel the same level of fear as back then however.
For all their sakes.
Hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one!
