I'm super hyped I got another one of these! I've been feeling very ill lately and so I haven't been able to write fanfiction or anything like that…
BUT I CAN AT LEAST DO THIS!
26 was the last one, so here's the new one! :D
27. Amy goes into the ancient past on accident, while Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic desperately look for her (Even throwing a few harsh punches at Eggman before realizing he didn't take her) as she learns about her ancestor and the true evil that is plaguing this new world of hers. When she returns, she is reminded of an artifact that can save the people from the past whose lives we're cut short by the evil that plagues her and her friends now. However, when she tries to explain her situation to her friends, they all say it's wise to save the artifact for when they need it, and let the past stay in the past. Amy's heart breaks as even her friend and hero won't side with her on this cause. "There were children!" "Amy,… I'm sorry. Tails is right, we need that for when something like what happened then-" he gestures to the mural that she was zapped into. "happens now." "It's better this way, Amy… you can't rewrite history." Tails tries to comfort her but Amy just runs from his reaching and comforting hand. "Great… now what?" Knuckles feels bad, and scratches behind his head. "We were worried sick about her and she repays us with that with a cold shoulder?" "Knuckles,… she has a kind heart, and she wants to save these people. What she doesn't realize is…" Tails turns to the mural, walking towards it and seeing the faces all carved and drawn on the wall. "…they were already gone when she got there…" Sonic, looking down and wanting to somehow help Amy, dashes off to find her. She's crying by a pond, and watches the fish swim by her, as he approaches from behind. They have a touching moment about what a hero's meant to be, and their views slightly clash, but in the end, they're both heroes at heart, and Amy vows to protect those in need of her in her own time. Sonic is slightly touched by her stance and conviction, and it makes him decide to vow to be more passionate about his role as hero too, and together they lock hands and strike a powerful expression, their bond and goal deepening in this moment.
28. What's this!? Tails finds a huge egg and decides to keep it alive and wait till it hatches to see what it is. Amy takes it upon herself to be it's 'mother' and tries her best to care for it. However, Eggman seems to know a whole lot about that egg, and wants it back! Sonic could care less about the mothering of Amy towards the egg, but Knuckles soon caves in and starts calling the Egg, "JR." and even baby-talking with it. Tails just let's the two be goofy but has them swear they won't break the egg before it hatches. The two promise to care and not harm the egg, but they end up fighting over the egg and causing it to almost crack, which leads Tails to give the egg to Sonic. Sonic is less than thrilled by the exchange of responsibility and tends to leave the egg unattended. Eggman swipes the egg and the gang then has to run back after it. "How could you lose Elena!" "IT'S KNUX JR. And yeah, Sonic! He was in your care!" "SHE was in his care!" Knuckles and Amy shout their disapproval at Sonic while they all run after Eggman. "Oh come on! Give me a break here, it rolled off on it's own! No doubt ready and willing to escape you two!" "All of you, quit it! It was my egg and I was to busy to really watch over it, it's not Sonic's fault it figuratively 'left the nest'!" "But what's gonna happen when Sonic becomes a REAL DAD, Tails?! This worries me…" "Don't be worried, Amy. Cause I'm not gonna be one." Amy gasps, and stops in her run to grab Sonic's scarf and pull him back to her. "THAT'S NOT JUST YOUR DECISION! Besides, that's way in the future, how would you know what you'll want then?" "Trust me." He rudely removes her grip from him and dusts himself off. "the future's pretty clear to me, and pretty far away." in the end, Sonic learns to care for the egg and when it hatches, becomes the 'best uncle' the little DRAGONS ever know! :D (Amy's glad too, because he's slightly learning how to take care of children now too xD)
29. Knuckles is stuck in a hypnotic voodoo spell by a witch doctor who is bent on destroying Tails's technology, convinced it will be her downfall since Tails stated that a machine can beat any magic, and that he doesn't really believe in magic. To convince him she's stronger, she tries to have Knuckles destroy his work place with her magical influence. Amy, however, doesn't really like the woman very much and tries to take her head-on! The witch doctor than uses her magic to make Amy not only lose her memories of Sonic, but also not be able to see or hear Sonic near her.(She can't even hear his name from Tails and Knuckles!) "Bubbling Blue, Emeralds of Green, thou shalt not behold or hear thy's one true dream!" the spell is cast and Sonic must find a way to break it. Only… "To break this wretched curse, one must first experience something never before rehearsed!" In other words, Amy must experience something she's never experienced before. After trying so many things, Sonic is compelled to even try and kiss her! Lo, and behold, before their lips even touch, Amy feels something holding her close and feels comfort in it, as her heart seems to pound out of excitement for a reason she doesn't understand and the very feeling snaps her out of the spell before Sonic can kiss her free! (Bummer right?) "Huh, it must of been the excitement of being loved back." Tails wonders out loud to the gang. "I guess the only true magic I can really believe in in this world is love." Amy is confused by what happened, and Sonic dares not to tell her what he almost tried to do… The Witch doctor flees when her spells can't compete against Tails's know-how and inventions. He ends up trumping her every move at every turn she tries to go, and in this Technology vs. Magic, her voodoo fails her and she flees the scene! While Sonic must now live with the 'almost kiss' moment still fresh on his mind!
And that's it for now! (only cause 30 will be an easy number to remember XP) Hope you liked it Anon! I'm really hoping some of these, no matter how off I may be from the actual thing, can at least happen a little bit in the show~ We'll all just have to wait and stay tuned! :D
