It had been about an hour just like Deaton had told everyone before the door in the steel room was suddenly and slowly pushed open and in walked the aforementioned druid along with a young and tan teenager walking in right behind him. Everyone in the room - Stefan, Emily, Damon, Bonnie and Tyler along with the newly arrived Caroline, Alaric, Jenna, and Jeremy - all stared at Deaton and the supposedly true alpha for a good and awkward minute before the silence was interrupted by the older Salvatore.

"This is your true alpha?" Damon inquired in disbelief as he pointed his finger over to teenager who looked like any normal teenager at Mystic Falls High School. "This is who is supposed to save the day?" The infected vampire continued with amusement dripping throughout his voice, "a kid, really?"

The Forbes vampire instantly turned to the right and glared over at Damon from his words to the new comer. "Don't be an asshole," Caroline scolded the older vampire before she faced Deaton and who she figured was Scott with a tiny smile playing across her lips. "I'm sorry about him," the Forbes vampire apologized on behalf of Damon.

Caroline didn't know anything about these two new comers in Mystic Falls but if they were here to save her best friend, Caroline wanted their time to go as smoothly as possible. They certainly didn't need Damon's attitude right now if they ever wanted to get Emily back to her normal and carrying self.

Deaton lightly chuckled at the way the teenager was apologizing for something that wasn't even her fault. "It's okay," the druid assured the blonde vampire before he murmured as he thought of a certain blue eyed Hale werewolf back at home, "I've dealt with worse."

Caroline let out a loud scoff before she glared over at the older Salvatore as she muttered, "I doubt anyone is as worse as Damon."

"You would be surprised," Deaton joked in amusement as she watched the interaction between the two equally annoyed vampires. However, when the druid heard the Radkova witch loudly tapping her heels against the concrete on the steel room, Deaton quickly focused back on why he was here in the first place.

Deaton pointed his right hand over to the teenager to the left of him before he introduced him to everyone in the room, "this is Scott McCall." The druid watched as Scott awkwardly wave his hand at the supernatural group before Deaton explained about Scott's kind, "like I mentioned before, Scott's species is called a true alpha. They are one of the rarest forms of a werewolf. They are known for their pure souls and the need to protect the innocent like the Radkova coven."

Deaton let the information slowly soak into the supernatural group before the druid continued to explain, "that is why Scott will be able to help us with our problem." Deaton glanced over to the bored looking Emily as he stated, "true alphas and Radkova witches are so similar that they are the only way to bring one another back when they get lost in the dark."

The steel room was tense with silence for a good two minutes as everyone took in what Deaton was telling them before the older Salvatore rolled his blue eyes and was the first one to speak. "Yay, another werewolf," Damon sarcastically exclaimed before he glared over at Tyler and muttered, "it's not like we hadn't had enough problems with the last one."

The Lockwood werewolf instantly moved his brown eyes down to his dirty sneakers when everyone in the room instantly looked over at him. "I said I was sorry," Tyler quietly mumbled in guilt. Tyler had never really liked Damon but he still felt guilty because he didn't mean to actually bite the older Salvatore and now it was his fault as to why Damon was slowly dying.

While everyone was staring at the Lockwood werewolf, the other wolf in the room was quietly staring at the vampire with an attitude for a moment with his brows pulled together before Scott's brown eyes widened when he realized what the vampire meant when he could smell the strong scent of dead flesh. However, Scott didn't comment or ask any questions about what happened - especially when the blue eyed vampire began to glare over at him.

Deaton could feel the tension quickly growing in the room, so the druid decided to have everyone focused back onto the reason why they were in the small, steel room. Deaton lightly placed his palm onto the true alpha's shoulder before he pointed the werewolf over to the emotionless girl in the metal chair and introduced Scott to the girl, "Scott, I would like you to meet our last living Radkova witch, Emily Gilbert."

The McCall werewolf couldn't help but immediately furrow his brows when he heard the name come out of Deaton's mouth. Scott didn't know what it was but it just sounded so familiar to him - which was weird because Scott had never been on this side of America before.

The Radkova witch gave the innocent looking werewolf a sarcastic wave with a wide and unbothered smirk playing on her dark lips. "I would say it's nice to meet you," Emily began politely before she deadpanned, "but it's not."

However, Emily's sarcastic words were all background noise to the true alpha at the moment as he focused solely onto her name. "Emily Gilbert... Emily Gilbert," the McCall werewolf mumbled to himself before he commented out loud, "I've heard that name before."

"How?" The protective Lockwood werewolf instantly inquired as he took a small step towards the only other werewolf in the room with his arms crossed tightly over his chest.

Scott briefly glanced over to the other werewolf weirdly before he quickly snapped his fingers together when he realized where he had heard the name before. "Right!" The true alpha exclaimed before Scott explained as he glanced over to the Radkova witch, "my best friend, Stiles, knew her and her twin sister, Elena."

The Forbes vampire furrowed her brows together in confusion as she stared over at the true alpha. "What the hell is a Stiles?" The blue eyed supernatural being quietly asked before she glanced over to Bonnie when she didn't get an answer, who silently shrugged her shoulders as well.

"How does this Stiles know Emily... and Elena?" The younger Salvatore vampire curiously wondered from his spot standing to the left of his girlfriend - despite the fact that she had yelled at him to leave her alone plenty of times over the last hour but Stefan never flinched or agreed. Stefan didn't care how many times Emily told him to leave her alone. He would never stop caring for her.

The McCall werewolf silently bit down on his bottom lip for a moment as he tried to remember what Stiles had told him about the witch in front of him before he snapped his fingers together and explained, "oh, yeah! It happened years ago but I remember Stiles telling me about it. They met at some carnival in Fairvale, California."

The Bennett witch was the one that immediately recognized the location but she wasn't exactly sure if she was right, so Bonnie turned to the Forbes vampire before she inquired, "isn't... Isn't that where we had out first out of state cheer competition?"

Caroline was silent for about a minute or so as she ran the city in her head before Caroline's blue eyes widened in recognition. "Yeah, it is!" The Forbes vampire exclaimed with a grin rising onto her face. "I remember Emily and Elena had snuck out to go to the local carnival and Emily had me keep watch for them to make sure coach didn't catch them," Caroline recalled the memory from their first year of being cheerleaders.

The Forbes vampire turned and looked over to the true alpha with her grin still shining across her face. "That's so crazy that you knew about that and now you are helping one of the people from that memory," Caroline commented. It almost seemed like Deaton and Scott being in Mystic Falls was fate, in Caroline's opinion. It gave her even more hope that the true alpha would be able to get her best friend back.

Scott shot the blonde vampire a small smile back as he nodded his head. "Ha, yeah," the McCall werewolf chuckled before he muttered, "small world, huh?"

However, before the teenagers could continue to think about the joyful past, the older Salvatore vampire interrupted the moment as he muttered in annoyance, "that was a nice story and all but that isn't going to help us any." Damon turned his tired gaze over to Deaton before he commanded, "get to it, Doc."

The druid swiftly nodded his head once at the impatient vampire as he knew he was right before Deaton led Scott closer to the Radkova witch with his hand on the true alpha's shoulder. "Emily, I would like to introduce you to Scott McCall, the true alpha who will help get you back to normal," Deaton gently murmured once they were standing in front of the emotionless witch.

"It's funny that you think I'm not happy with the way I am now," Emily boredly sassed as she crossed her right leg over her left knee and crossed her arms over her black crop top as if she didn't have a care in the world. Well, that wasn't far from the truth. Emily didn't care about anything - that was the point.

"I know you believe that," Deaton cautiously spoke to the Radkova witch before he shook his head and murmured, "but that isn't what you truly want. You wouldn't have been chosen to be the last living Radkova witch if your heart wasn't pure and if you weren't so caring and protective of the people around you."

Emily chose to completely ignore everything that was coming out of the bald man's mouth. She honestly didn't care because she didn't want to change anything about herself. "Can we just hurry and get this over with already?" The Radkova witch complained out loud with a groan following shortly behind. "This is all pointless," Emily muttered as she leaned her head back against the cold metal chair and stared at the dull ceiling.

Despite Emily's attitude and words, she still had this bad feeling in the pit of her stomach with being around this so called true alpha. It was that Radkova witch feeling she always got when something bad was about to happen. The Radkova witch knew it was all because of Scott and Emily didn't like it.

Deaton silently watched the Radkova witch for a minute or so but when she didn't say anything more, the druid silently nodded his head and murmured, "very well." Deaton moved his gaze over to everyone else in the room before he began to explain about what they were about to do, "Scott, here, will essentially go inside of Emily's mind to remind her of her life before all of this trauma happened and this will force her to remember all of her memories with the late Elena."

The druid let this information soak into the group of supernatural being's minds, especially at the mention of the late Elena Gilbert, before Deaton explained, "these memories of hers all coming at one time will force her to feel them all at once and will force Miss Gilbert to break out of this barrier that is around her emotions."

The small, steel room grew tense with silence after Deaton's explanation of their plan. However, Stefan was the one filled with the most worry. Deaton had already explained that this might hurt Emily and the younger Salvatore hated that. Stefan hated that his girlfriend would have to go through this and she would be all alone. Stefan couldn't just sit back and do nothing, so the younger Salvatore looked over to the true alpha before he asked, "is... Is there anyway I could be there with her or just help her in someway?"

Scott instantly glanced over to Deaton at the question from the vampire and when the druid silently nodded his head, Scott focused back onto the worried vampire. "The last time I did this, I bought someone into the person's mind as well," the true alpha mentioned.

"In my opinion from studying up on this since we arrived in Mystic Falls," Deaton uttered as he jumped into the conversation, "I believe it would be the most affective way in bringing the real Emily back since you have an emotional and personal connection with her, so I believe you could guide her through her emotions before it's too late."

"I'll do it," the younger Salvatore vampire almost immediately agreed as he took a step closer to the true alpha with his girlfriend to the right of him. Stefan didn't care if it would hurt him to do this. He just wanted to be there for Emily during this traumatic experience. Stefan wanted to be there to help his girlfriend through this and if he had to, Stefan wanted to be able to protect her if anything were to go wrong.

The McCall werewolf silently nodded his head in agreement as he shot the worried vampire a small and assuring smile. "Well, we can get started whenever you guys are ready," Scott kindly murmured as he glanced between the Radkova witch, the vampire, and Deaton.

"I'd could go for a bottle of bourbon before we begin this fun time," Emily sarcastically uttered with a wide and amused smirk dancing across her dark purple lips as she connected her empty green eyes with the true alpha's soft brown ones.

"Sorry princess," the older Salvatore vampire called out to Emily before he denied her request from his slumped position against the wall, "only when you are back to normal."

"We should do this now," Deaton advised as he glanced between the worried vampire and the smirking witch. "The longer she stays in this state, the harder it will be to get her out of it," the druid reminded everyone once more.

Stefan anxiously nodded his head as he rubbed the side of his neck. "Ah, okay. Now it is then," the younger Salvatore mumbled before he focused his shaky gaze over to the true alpha. "How do we, uh, do this?" Stefan nervously inquired. Despite being completely on board with going through with this, Stefan was still nervous about what Emily was about to go through. Stefan just wanted to know what was about to happen to them.

"It's a pretty easy procedure. The hard part is once you are inside," Scott told the vampire as he began to roll up the sleeves to his dark green long sleeved shirt. "You'll need to sit by each other and lean your heads down, so I can reach your necks," the true alpha explained to Stefan, "and you'll just guide her once you're inside - help her accept what happened that caused Emily to be like this."

The younger Salvatore silently nodded his head in understanding while he anxiously bit down on his bottom lip before Stefan couldn't help but release a shaky breath that he didn't even need to release - it was more for Emily's sake. Stefan just needed to remind himself that this was the only way to get his girlfriend back.

Once the younger Salvatore felt as ready as he could be with the thought of Emily in pain, Stefan walked around the steel room and grabbed a metal folding chair from the wall. Stefan slowly walked back to his girlfriend with an anxious expression displayed across his face before he placed the chair beside Emily just like the true alpha had instructed.

The Radkova witch had watched her boyfriend the whole time with an amused smirk playing on her lips. Emily focused her green eyes onto Stefan beside her before she teased with a coo, "aw, is the big vampire scared?" Emily released a sinister chuckle before Stefan could even open his mouth to respond.

"You should just give up," Emily exclaimed before she uttered, "if you're scared right now, who knows what could happen once you're inside of my mind." The Radkova witch's green eyes widened as a thought came to her. "Who knows? Maybe I'll just kill you and make you suffer," Emily murmured with a grin before she cooed and exclaimed, "ooh! Maybe you'll become emotionless, too! Or... Or maybe this will break my emotions even more that you will never be able to get them back."

Emily nodded her head with an excited smirk before she murmured, "yeah. I'm hoping for that one, so I can continue on with my life without having to deal with you guys and your need to hold onto this 'innocent Emily' bullshit anymore."

Stefan forced himself to not give any reaction or flinch at his girlfriend's harsh words. He knew Emily didn't mean them, at all. It was just this hold on her heart and her emotions.

Instead of letting her words bother him, the younger Salvatore gently pushed Emily's blonde hair behind her left ear before he softly murmured, "I love you." Stefan tightly grasped ahold of his girlfriend's cheek when Emily tried to push him away before he told her, "I know you are just trying to deal with everything in your own way but we're going to help you. I'm going to help you through this, baby."

Stefan placed a kiss onto his girlfriend's forehead before he promised as he stared deeply into her seemingly bored green eyes, "I'm not going to give up on you. I won't stop until you're back." The younger Salvatore shot Emily a small smile and murmured one last time, "I love you," before Stefan took a seat onto the steel chair beside his girlfriend.

"Ugh," the Radkova witch groaned in annoyance as she glared over at her boyfriend. "You're so sappy," Emily muttered in disgust, "and so optimistic for no reason."

Emily released a humorless chuckle before she exclaimed, "this really isn't necessary, guys." The Radkova witch roamed her green eyes around the room before she circled onto her target. "Come on and tell them, Ty!" The blonde witch singled out her best friend with a deep pout. "You should understand this the most," Emily exclaimed, "you live with anger issues everyday and you're fine!"

The Lockwood werewolf shook his head with a deep frown embedded on his face. "That isn't the same," Tyler murmured as he stared at his best friend in sadness. "But we're gonna fix this," the Lockwood werewolf quickly promised before he murmured with a tiny smile, "and I'll be right here waiting for you when you're ready."

Emily instantly rolled her green eyes at another sappy man in her life. "You are pathetic," the Radkova witch complained. "You're just like Stefan over here," Emily muttered as she pointed towards her boyfriend before the Radkova witch smirked at Tyler and added, "in more way than one."

The Lockwood werewolf immediately moved his brown eyes to the concrete ground and ignored everyone's gaze on him as Tyler thought back to how Emily knew about his feelings for her. Tyler didn't have anything to say to that without exposing himself to everyone, so Tyler quietly mumbled, "it's going to be okay," before he pushed himself back against the wall beside Damon.

The true alpha awkwardly cleared his throat as he could feel the strong emotions coming off of the other werewolf in the room. It was the same emotions that Scott had for Allison and Scott knew for sure that the wolf wasn't dating Emily, so he just felt completely awkward from understanding something so private.

"Uh, anyway," Scott awkwardly muttered while he rubbed the back of his neck as he glanced at everyone in the room before his gaze focused solely onto Emily and Stefan as he questioned, "is everyone ready?"

"I could really go for that drink," the Radkova witch instantly murmured in a singing voice as she gazed up at the true alpha with a wide grin spread across her face.

"Just do it, wolfie," the older Salvatore commanded from the back of the room before Scott could even entertain Emily's words. "She's just trying to distract you," Damon muttered from his own experience with dealing with the emotionless witch.

"Okay," Scott murmured, mostly to himself, before he silently walked behind the Radkova witch and the Salvatore vampire. Scott briefly glanced over to Deaton and when the older man nodded his head, the true alpha took a deep breath and told the duo, "this might hurt a little." Scott slowly closed his eyes while he flicked out his werewolf claws before he pressed them inside of Emily and Stefan's neck and their worlds went completely dark.
