Mari went to the T.V studio and she went in Roland's office without knocking mainly since the door was open. "Hay do you still need an actress?"
Roland looked at her confused. "You're joking."
"No I'm not joking if you still accept me I'll start working right away." Mari stated.
Maya starts to tear up. "If you are telling me to get used to mommy not coming back that means she really is in heaven now."
Emilie nodded. "That's what I think."
"Than when you see her tell her that I love her." Maya stated.
Emilie nodded. "That's what I'll do. I'm glad that you're accepting things the way that they are and don't worry about Mari many things can still happen with her."
"Well if I can't see mommy anymore I at least want to see Mari so she can bring me the sibling that she promised." Maya replied.
"I'm sure that she will since Mari is honest and she always keeps her promise." Emilie stated.
"Than I shouldn't tell daddy that she came?" Maya asked.
"Well if Ruby told you to not tell him than you should listen to her. Ruby trusts in you and you should trust in her too. This will show that you have respect for other people." Emilie replied.
"I care about Ruby just like how she cares about me." Maya stated with a smile. "Thank you for helping me grandma Emilie."
"How did you know that Marinette was at the hidden ranch?" Father Carlos asked Sabine.
"The day you received the email from her I was at a position where I could see the location and name from where the email was sent from." Sabine replied. "My husband Tom figured out where the ranch was and as soon as I could I went there."
"And what happened?" Father Carlos asked.
"I arrived late Mari has already left that place." Sabine replied.
"Marinette left the ranch?" Father Carlos asked surprised.
"Yes Father Carlos Mari isn't there anymore and she didn't say where she was going. I lost her again and I don't know where to look for her." Sabine replied.
"Are you not interested in me acting again?" Mari asked a speechless Roland. "I see I took a long time to accept your offer you probably found someone else. Oh well I'll forget about the situation thank you anyway." Mari starts to walk away.
Roland quickly stands up. "No Mari wait you just got me of guard. I wasn't expecting you to be here. Didn't you want to stay at the ranch? You basically kicked me out last time I visited you "
Mari sighs. "I was going to marry Viperion."
"You were going to but not anymore?" Roland asked.
"No I'm not going back to the ranch. I'm staying here." Mari replied. "I came looking for Adrien."
Roland sighs. "You're stubborn Mari."
"Everything is in the past now. I'm all by myself...well with Adrienne." Mari replied. "She might be hungry throughout my hard work to give her a good life but only of food but not love. I'll never abandon her like how I was abandoned. I want to fight for her and to work for her."
Roland nodded. "Alright but you have to tell me the whole story. So when did you come back? And who knows that you're here?"
"The day before yesterday." Mari replied. "And at this point everyone in the neighborhood. Through if you are talking about those people than Ruby Adrien's daughter Maya Lila and most likely Adrien...and knowing Lila by now her aunt knows."
"And does he know Adrienne is his?" Roland asked.
"I don't think so unless you speak out. Since you told Lila and most likely her aunt too." Mari replied. "You're the only one that I told and she knows everything."
"I don't know how she knows but I didn't tell her anything." Roland stated.
"Are you sure that Marinette left the ranch?" Father Carlos asked Sabine.
"That's what a young woman told me I think that she's your niece. She told me that Mari left that same day from the ranch. I missed her by a few minutes and she didn't even say where she was going." Sabine repeated unconsciously. "Though she did say that she wasn't going back to the ranch. Do you not know where she is?"
"No I was shocked by the news." Father Carlos stated. "And how would you know if Mari came back to Paris?"
"I don't know but I assumed that if she wasn't in the neighborhood than she was with you." Sabine replied. "I also think that she could have gone to another country...I thought of many things honestly."
"Believe it or not I don't know where they are." Father Carlos stated.
"I do believe you, you don't lie Father Carlos. Well I need to go now but I beg you if you know anything about her to let me know." Sabine pleaded. "Give me the opportunity to find her so I can talk to her. To beg her for forgiveness. Do you promise Father Carlos?"
Father Carlos nodded. "Yes."
"Thank you." Sabine leaves the church.
"Why did Marinette leave Luka's ranch? I was just about to leave for the wedding today. What could've happened?" Father Carlos wandered.
"Did Mrs. Chloe try to leave her husband at one point?" The lawyer asked Audrey.
"No never Chloe never wanted to leave her house. Especially for her daughter who she adored. Adrien however did want to get rid of her he wanted to divorce her." Audrey replied.
"And why didn't that divorce happen?" The lawyer asked.
"She denied to accept it. She begged him to not go to extreme measures because she was pregnant." Audrey replied. "That's why he planned her death without a concussion and morals. He didn't love Chloe or the baby she was expecting."
The lawyer of the public stood up. "When did you know that your daughter died or more like being murderer?"
"Like four or five in the morning." Audrey replied.
"Based on the facts the action happened at one in the morning." The lawyer stated.
"I know but they hid it from me." Audrey replied.
"Can you tell us who hid it from you?" The lawyer asked.
"They did Kagami Tsurugi Adrien Agreste and his sister Ruby Agreste." Audrey replied.
"Now you know why I came back and why I don't dare to go back to the ranch." Mari told Roland once she finished her story. "But I did promise you to look for you if I ever came back to Paris so here I am."
"And where are you living?" Roland asked.
"Like always." Mari replied.
"What? In the neighborhood?" Mari nodded. "No you need to leave there right away. Go back there pack everything that you mostly need and wait for me. In an hour or so I'll go for you."
"And Fu and Adrienne right-? Because they go wherever I go." Mari stated.
"Of course Mari them too." Roland replied.
"And where are you taking us?" Mari asked.
"It's a surprise." Roland replied.
"Alright well I have to go now." With that Mari left Roland's office.
"Ruby Agreste also knew what was going on?" The lawyer asked.
"Yes she was also in the tutor's room when my daughter was killed." Audrey replied.
"How can you confirm it if you weren't present?" The lawyer asked.
"Because I heard voices and Chloe screaming." Audrey replied. "I was in the main hall with Natalie one of the servants in the house. We both heard Chloe screaming and we knew that it was coming from the tutor's room I went to the room. Ruby came out from the room. When I asked her what was going on I noticed that she was nervous and scared. She said that the screaming came from the tutor."
"Do you remember what time this happened?" The lawyer asked.
"Around 1 in the morning the crime was just committed that's why I say that Ruby is involved in the crime. At that moment she knew everything and hid it from me." Audrey replied.
"She's so adorable Fu." Marlena said to Fu as she was holding Adrienne. "She reminds me when Alya was only months old. It seems like a lie Mari with a daughter."
"That's why we left Paris so it wouldn't be known." Fu replied.
"What will happen if the dad finds out?" Marlena asked curiously.
"I doubt that he'll ever find out." Fu replied.
At that moment Father Carlos walked in the house. "What's the meaning of this Fu? What are you and Marinette doing hiding here?"
Soon it was Mike's turn to interrogate Audrey and he stood up. "Mrs. Bourgeois even though it seems absurd I won't start by defending Miss. Kagami but to a witness you have given hard declarations. I'm talking about Dr. Adrien Ageeste to be able to prove Miss. Kagami's innocent I need all suspicion on him to be cleared. Do you consider Dr. Agreste as a violent man?"
"Well no but he was a cold person." Audrey replied.
"Would you dare to call him an immoral man?" Mike asked.
"Well based on that there's someone that can declare that." Audrey replied.
"Who?" Mike asked.
"A young woman called Mari." Audrey replied.
"You know how Mari gets when something gets struck in her head. She said let's go and we left." Fu told Father Carlos as they sat on the couch.
"Why are you here? I was all ready to go to the wedding." Father Carlos stated.
"Well don't go anymore there's no wedding. Once Mari saw the article talking about the crime of Chloe Agreste's death...there was no one that could stop her from coming back." Fu replied. "She said that she was sure that he needed her. That she needed to help him and that everything would be fine between them again."
"But Adrien ended everything between them. He's obligated to another person right now." Father Carlos stated.
"That's what Mari found out when she went to Adrien's house. She came back defeated with a broken heart and in tears." Fu replied. "She said that Adrien was going to marry the murderer. She didn't want to go back to the ranch because she felt bad for what she did and she couldn't lie to Viperion anymore."
"I want to talk to her where is she?" Father Carlos asked.
"I don't know she went out and didn't tell me where." Fu replied.
"Who is Mari and what does she have to do with this case?" The judge asked Audrey.
"She used to be Dr. Adrien Agreste's wife." Audrey replied. "My daughter was always married with him but there was a time that my daughter was assumed dead after a tragic plane crash and he got married again. That marriage became automatically invalid after my daughter appeared alive."
"And why do you say that the person Mari can declare that Dr. Agreste is immoral?" The judge asked.
"Because when Mari was a teenager Adrien humiliated her as a woman." Everyone in the room including Kagami looked at her shocked.
The lawyer of the public stood up. "I ask for a request sir. I ask for this Mari to be be call to this trail so she gets interrogated as well."
"I protest I don't find it prudent. She has nothing to do with this case." Mike stated.
"Accepted the request of the lawyer of the public secretary please make sure that this person is called to declare." The secretary nodded.
"Father Carlos was here." Fu told Mari once she came back home.
"Really? So he already knows." Fu nodded. "Did you tell him what happened?"
"With details though he was surprised saying that we shouldn't have come back. Seems to me that he knew excidly everything that was going on with Adrien." Fu replied.
"Well it's time to pack Fu we are leaving." Mari stated.
"So what's that serious thing that you have to tell me?" Adrien asked Mike once the trail ended.
"Your mother in law went over broad with her declaration. And not against Miss. Kagami but against you." Mike stated. "She talked about a young woman called Mari." Adrien looks at him surprised.
"Were are we going?" Fu asked.
"I don't know but it will be a great place. Hurry up someone will come get us soon." Mari stated.
"Well it should be easy we still have most of our things packed." Fu replied.
"Your mother in law says that she is a person that could declare you as an immoral person. That she was your wife and that you harmed her when she was a teenager." Mike added.
Adrien sighs. "I can't believe that she was capable of something like that."
"I was surprised Dr. Agreste I didn't know that wife existed or knew what happened. Though Mrs. Bourgeois thinks that this could cause you a lot more harm. Now the judge ordered for Mari to be called to declare." Mike stated.
It didn't take Fu or Mari long for them to pack everything since most of their things was packed already. "You should go talk to Father Carlos dear he left upset and he told me when you come back to tell you to go see him." Fu told Mari.
"Alright I'll go see him." Mari replied. "Take care of Adrienne. " with that Mari left the house.
Father Carlos was at his desk when Luka suddenly walked in his office. "Uncle Carlos I need you to tell me where Iris is. I came to look for her. You obviously know that she was at my ranch since you took her there but she disappeared and I don't know where she went."
"Honestly I just found out that she wasn't with you anymore." Father Carlos stated.
"I was on a trip and Iris didn't wait until I came back before leaving. Without a goodbye or an explanation or mentioned where she was going and I'm hoping that you can tell me where she is." Luka replied. "I'm sure that the first thing that Iris did was contact you."
"Would you believe me that she actually didn't." Father Carlos stated.
"Don't tell me that you haven't seen her because I don't believe you." Luka replied.
"I actually haven't seen her." Father Carlos stated.
"Well do you at least know where she is?" Luka asked. "I know that you know and you'll tell me. You need to tell me because I need to talk to her."
At that moment Mari was about to open Father Carlos's office door when she noticed the time. "Shoot Roland is about to pick us up and I won't be there I'll have to talk to Father Carlos later." Mari quickly left the church.
"And how well you talk to her?" Father Carlos asked.
"I need to know why she disappeared like that! Why she abandoned me two days before our wedding!" Luka exclaimed.
Mari walked in the house again. "We should be picked up soon."
"Did you already talk to Father Carlos?" Fu asked surprised to see her back so soon.
"Well I did go to the church but when I saw the time I quickly came back." Mari replied.
"You should've talked to Father Carlos." Fu stated.
"I won't be able to Fu I'll do it when we are settled." Mari replied.
"Can you at least tell me with who we are going with?" Fu asked. "You should at least know that."
"We are going with Roland." Mari replied and Fu looked at her surprised.
"Iris accepted to be my wife willingly I didn't force her to accept." Luka added in a softer tone. "I confessed that I loved her I begged her to not go and she accepted to be by my side to become my wife and letting me to recognize Adrienne as my daughter. Why did she do this? Was all of that a lie and a betrayal?"
"Don't think like that Luka. All of this wasn't planned. I can assure you that she wasn't planning to leave like this." Father Carlos stated.
"Why did she do it than?" Luka asked.
"She wasn't thinking." Was all Father Carlos could think of in response.
"She should have had a reason to do it. What was it?" Luka asked.
"I can't tell you Luka. Believe me I'm so sorry about what happened. I thought that everything was going well. I actually was wishing for you two to be happy and I'm sorry that it didn't work out." Father Carlos stated with sincere.
"All I want to know Uncle Carlos is if she came back to be with who used to be her husband?" Luka asked.
"Yes Luka but-" Father Carlos started.
"Please tell me where she is." Luka begged. "I need to see her you need to understand I'm not going to demend anything from her I just want to see her and understand why she abandoned me. Do you know where she is?"
Father Carlos sighs. "Yes I know."
"Than please take me to her." Luka begged. "I think that after I treated Iris I think that I at least deserved an explanation. Please take me to her. I came looking for her and I'm not leaving until I find her. I want to hear Iris tell me the truth at my face. I'll leave her alone once I'm sure that she is confident about her choice in leaving my side."
"You're right Luka you two need to talk it out so there's no secret between you two. I'll take you to her myself. " Father Carlos stated.
There was a knock on the door and Mari opened the door to see Roland standing there. "Are you ready?" He asked as he walked in the house.
"Yes Roland we're ready." Mari replied.
"Is this all that you'll take?" Roland asked seeing the pile of their things and Mari nodded. "Well it seems like a lot soon you'll have everything that you could ever imagine. Now let's go."
It took all three to take everything out from the house and it barely fit in Roland's car. As Roland drove of Mari look back at the apartment complex and thinks about all the times she left a place she once thought as a home and hoped that this would be the last time.
