A.N. — For some connection to yesterday's drabble, here is a tale of a portrait. Its subject probably used Skele-Gro to mend bones at some point, being a Healer at St. Mungo's. Of less importance to this drabble, she was also a Headmistress of Hogwarts.

85. Dilys Derwent

Dilys might now only be an impression of memories and personality sunk into paint on canvas, but that didn't quell her healing instincts.

It was hard to tear her gaze from the wounded Weasley being carried beneath her portrait and respond to the summons she could feel from the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts. She knew Albus needed this information, that a life very well may depend upon it, but she'd taken an oath to help all that came under her purview. Even as a painting, she couldn't be in two places at once, and it almost literally tore at her.
