5. 2008 Royal Rumble match.

WWE Royal Rumble was live at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York. The first match that aired was a non-title "Career Threatening" match between the former WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) and Ric Flair, in which had Flair lost, he would have had to retire from wrestling. At the start of the match, Flair started out working on MVP's left arm. Flair attempted to get the figure-four leglock on MVP, but MVP turned it into a small package for a two count. MVP executed a running big boot on Flair in the corner and went for a pin, but Flair managed to get his foot on the rope when the referee Charles Robinson counted to three. After the three count, the referee did not call for the bell as he had noticed Flair's leg on the bottom-rope and restarted the match. The match ended when MVP attempted a Playmaker, but Flair countered the attempt into the figure-four leglock, to which MVP eventually tapped out. Hence, Flair won and kept his career alive.

The second match was between John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL) and Chris Jericho. The match began with Jericho trapping Layfield in the Walls of Jericho. JBL got to the ropes, however, and slid out of the ring with Jericho quickly following him. JBL strangled Jericho with the ring ropes and later, plunged him onto the ropes. Jericho recovered and clotheslined JBL out of the ring. When they got in again, JBL threw Jericho into the ring post, as a result of which, Jericho was busted open. JBL tried to take advantage of this situation, but Jericho still fought back. The fight went outside the ring, where JBL began clearing the ECW announce table. Jericho grabbed a steel chair and hit JBL with it. The referee immediately disqualified Jericho, who ignored the fact that he had lost the match and started to strangle JBL with some wires by the ring, in the same process JBL did to Jericho on RAW.

The third match was for the World Heavyweight Championship with champion, Edge taking on Rey Mysterio. During the match, Vickie Guerrero stood up from her wheelchair, attempting to comfort Edge. Mysterio had Edge set up for the 619, and Vickie jumped in the way, risking herself. Edge then recovered, and speared Mysterio in mid-air for the pinfall.

The fourth match was between Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton for Orton's WWE Championship. Early in the match, Hardy performed a baseball slide on Orton who hit head-first into the barricade outside due to the impact. Knowing he couldn't win the WWE Championship via a countout victory, Hardy brought the knocked-out Orton into the ring. Later, Orton took advantage in the match, as he applied a body scissors on Hardy, followed by a choke-hold. Some of the other main highlights of the match were Hardy performing a Whisper in the Wind on Orton; and, later executing a moonsault from the top-rope to Orton outside the ring. When Hardy brought Orton back in the ring and tried to deliver a Twist of Fate, Orton suddenly reversed it into an RKO and pinned Hardy to retain his WWE title.

Next up was the Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble match was in progress. The first two superstars who began the match were Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. Santino Marella was the third man out but got eliminated in 25 seconds by the Undertaker, next out was the Great Khali who was only in for 1:09 before the Undertaker eliminated him. More men followed out.

Right now the men currently in the ring were Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Batista, CM Punk, Umaga, John Morrison, Hardcore Holly, and Cody Rhodes. The countdown for the 15th entry in the match begins.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dark Side plays to a loud pop and out comes the Bladewolf who was now in his old ring gear he debuted in 1997 with instead of the gear similar to the Undertaker's 1999 ring attire. He had even brought back the metallic, Predator-style mask. The attire had the burning Undertaker TX symbol with the words 'The Wolf of Darkness and Destruction' underneath it. On his black wrestling tights, he had a burning Undertaker TX symbol on the left leg, and a burning wolf skull with hellfire eyes on the right leg.

Other than that and the metallic mask over his demonic wolf one, everything else was the same. Boots, gloves, and the coat.

Bladewolf came out from the back and tosses his coat off before eh slides into the ring and takes Morriosn down with a clothesline, then uppercuts Punk, then clobbers Michaels with a heavy right shot to the jaw. Bladewolf then grabs Cody Rhodes and hits a German Suplex. Hardcore Holly comes to his partner's aid only to be met with a uppercut then Bladewolf grabs him...ND TOSSES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! HARDCORE HOLLY IS ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf flips his hair back before he turns and boots Punk in the face. He then walks over to Umaga who is beating the Undertaker down in the corner and grabs him, pulling him off his older brother and starts hammering away at Umaga's forehead. Bladewolf then holds Umaga's arms back, allowing the Undertaker to starts striking Umaga in the forehead with heavy right and left shots.

The two brothers then get Umaga into the corner and stomp away on him as the countdown for the 16th superstar in the match begins.

The Miz's theme plays and out cones the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions who runs out from the back and slides into the ring, going to his partner's aid. Bladewolf and Undertaker were still dealing with Umaga in the corner, taking shots in hurting the Samoan Bulldozer with heavy strikes and hard stomps. The two brothers then grab Umaga and try tossing him over the top rope but Umaga hands on and the two brothers stomp on Umaga, trying to kick him off to no avail.

Bladewolf turns and grabs Miz from behind, hitting a German Suplex, then he grabs Morriosn and lifts him onto his shoulder before hitting a powerslam. Bladewolf then gets tackled into the corner by Batista who drives his shoulder into Bladewolf's gut several times but Bladewolf elbows Batista in the back multiple times before driving his knee into the stomach of of the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Batista fights back with heavy shots before he rebounds Bladewolf off the ropes but Bladeowlf halts himself and Batista runs...AND CLOTHESLINES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE! BLADEWOLF HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Bladewolf laid on the ground, unable to believe it before he got to his feet and just walks to the back...

Yeah, Bladewolf wasn't in the match long. Do remember he won the 2006 Royal Rumble from the #2 spot in the match, so he has been in a Rumble all the way to the end. Plus the 2008 Rumble wasn't really one of my favourites, I just lost the urge to keep Bladewolf in the match and had him eliminated.
