Episode 90: Relaxation and tour

Mealtime was over, Sylvia and Declan were clearing the table while Susan took Ace, Tech and Slam to the visits room. Lexi was accompanying them. After passing the brief hallway, Susan opened the door of the room and let them in. "Hey, this is nice!" Ace opined while putting his bag over a small couch that was next to the door, glaring around him and studying the gray looks of the place. "I could have a doze of some good Alumian TV stuff." He stood before the large television that hung from the ceiling.

Slam walked towards a gray colored puff sofa that laid on a corner, next to the large window of the room, he sat down with a hop while sighing and getting both hands behind his nape, growling with satisfaction.

"You almost blew that thing up, big guy." Lexi said between chuckles.

Susan smirked at them. "There´s a full bathroom behind the door over there, feel free to use anything, okay?"

"Who´s getting the bed?" Tech looked at Ace and Slam while patting the bed´s surface.

"Well, you asked first so, you sh..." Ace got interrupted.

"You know what? I´ll sleep on the floor with Slam, you take the bed." Tech said with a smirk.

"Oh, no, my sleeping bag will suffice, Doc." Ace responded.

"This could take a while." Lexi said after letting out a brief sigh and glancing at Susan.

Susan chuckled and gestured away. "Let´s give them some space, then. Now I´m showing you our room."

"Yes!" Lexi replied and then they left, heading to Susan´s room.

"It will be like a sleepover!" Susan said with excitement. They got in another hallway, passing by the door that led to the room of Susan´s parents. After walking a bit more, the finally got before Susan´s bedroom. She opened the door and they entered.

"Aw, so cute!" Lexi was delighted with the blue sky that was painted on the walls, there was also a pink armchair in the corner.

Susan was blushing a bit. "Sorry if it looks too childish. I just love blue skies."

"And who doesn´t, girl?" Lexi placed her bag over the pink armchair and took out her sleeping bag, unfolding it and placing it over the floor. "Uhm, Susan." She got onto her feet and looked at her. "Could I, uhm, take a shower now? I´m dying for one."

"Oh, for sure!" Susan replied with a homely smile. "Make yourself at home!"

Lexi sighed and looked at her with thankfulness. "Thank you."

Duck was extending his sleeping bag over one of the couches in the living room. "Alright, then. I got myself a bed."

"Oh, give me a second." Rev rushed rapidly towards the couch he chose and after a fraction of second his sleeping bag was also placed over it. "Yeah me too."

"And what a view we have." Duck looked through the large, transparent sliding doors that went all the way from the ceiling to the floor, which led to a balcony. A great landscape of the white city could be seen from there.

"So as we are gonna be sharing room I must make an important question." Rev approached Duck with a rush. "Do you snore?"

"Not much." Duck had his gaze locked in the landscape. "I fart, though." He smiled nonchalantly.

Meanwhile, in the visits room, Tech, Slam and Ace were still debating about who would keep the bed. "Come on, we left this to chance and it didn´t work. I insist, boss, you´re the leader, you should have the bed." Tech stated.

"But you´re the boyfriend." Ace argued, then Slam snored intensely, they looked at him with no surprise in their faces, Slam had fallen asleep over the puff sofa.

Tech sighed. "At least is between us, now." Tech patted Ace´s arm amicably. "It´s yours, boss, I´ll be fine on the floor."

Ace raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" He turned while looking at the bed attentively.

Tech chuckled. "Go ahead." He yawned and stretched while approaching his bag, crouching and taking out his sleeping bag. "I´m gonna take a quick nap, then, we´ll see what plans they have for us." He finished extending it over the floor, he unzipped it and got in, leaving it open and laying on his side.

Ace sighed. "Alright, then." He dropped himself over the bed, getting relaxed with its soft and comfy surface right away. "Oh, man." He babbled. "This is great." He yawned while getting his head comfortable over one of the pillows, hugging the other one, feeling its freshness.

The afternoon passed slowly and quietly, letting the heroes have a nice nap time, Duck and Rev had also decided to rest a bit and Lexi slept for a few hours after having showered and changed. She stretched and yawned deeply, getting out of her sleeping bag and standing up. Lexi had put on a pair of black jeans and a white blouse. Susan woke up from her nap as well, stepping out the bed and glaring at the digital clock over the bedside table. "Oh my..!"

Lexi looked at her with an intrigued glare. "What?"

"It´s almost seven, come on." Susan began to walk towards the door.

"Oh, are you taking us somewhere?" Lexi smirked while raising an eyebrow, following her.

"Yup!" Susan replied, they exited the room and headed to the living room. On the way, Susan knocked the door of the visits room.

"Mhm?" Ace´s drowsy voice made Susan and Lexi to chuckle briefly.

"Get ready, boys, we´ll go out to dinner!" Susan informed.

"Okay." Tech replied, also with drowsiness.

Lexi and Susan arrived at the living room, finding out Duck and Rev were waking up already.

Duck stretched while standing up and heading to his bag, taking some clothes from there. "Uhm, where can I change? I mean, I could do it here but it would be awkward."

"Oh, I forgot to tell you." Susan pointed at the door on the corner. "There´s a restroom, you may use it for whatever you need."

"Awesome, thanks." Duck walked towards there and got in.

Declan and Sylvia arrived, immediately followed by Tech, Ace and Slam. The three heroes had changed clothes just as Lexi and Duck. Ace wore jeans, a yellow T-Shirt and a black jacket, Tech wore a green polo shirt and khaki pants while Slam was wearing a long sleeved, dark purple shirt and a pair of black jeans. "Hmm, look at you, handsome." Sylvia praised their looks.

"Not so fast." Duck opened the door and exited the restroom with an arrogant glare, he wore a black shirt and a pair of orange pants. "Don´t you see this masterpiece?"

"You´re disgusting." Lexi said.

Sylvia chuckled. "You all look great, certainly. We´re taking you to a very special place tonight."

"Oh, wait." Rev rushed rapidly towards his bag then got in the bathroom and exited in a split of second, standing among his comrades. He was wearing a pair of red shorts and a gray T-Shirt, having left a red trace behind him. "I´m ready."

The night was arriving, the stars and the moon appeared gradually. The white luminescence of the buildings matched with the nocturnal skies above Alumia. The Loonatics, Susan and her parents were in a hover cab that Sylvia had hired. Rev looked through the window behind him with amazement. "And I thought Acmetropolis looked great at night, but look at this!"

"Are we going to a dance club or something?" Duck inquired. "I´m quite in the mood for that."

"Yes, because a dance club is the best place to have dinner." Lexi replied sarcastically.

"Well, they always got old fries and beer, which have been my dinner several times, for your information." Duck looked at her with a straight face while crossing his arms.

"Well, we´re taking you to a more, uhm, family place." Sylvia said. "Do you guys like nabemono?"

Ace raised an eyebrow. "I think I´ve never heard of that."

"Oh, that´s like a hot-pot, right?" Tech said.

Sylvia nodded. "That´s right."

Slam growled, stating he loved hot-pots.

"I bet this one will be your favorite after you taste it." Susan commented. "The charm of Alumian nabemono are the huge chunks of meat on it."

"Sounds delicious!" Lexi smirked.

"And wait until you know the place." Declan stated. "It´s our favorite in the city."
