"So let me get this straight, you're telling me there's some Dreamscape virus?"

Flash nodded and responded to Smolder. "And Ember said that this book might actually have a direct answer."

Adagio, who was sitting next to Flash, cradling a sleeping infant. Quirked her eyebrow. "But, if you're dealing with a virus. How's a book about Ki and Mana supposed to help?"

"Well, I'm kinda short on options," Flash responded, "I have to figure something out quickly."

He opened the book and began to flip through the pages, recalling the certain pages he had read when he was training his telekinesis. Before finding it.

Ki And Mana Contrast...

The Ki variant to Telekenisis is regarded as similar to the more common Mana variant. While both variants work the same by will harnessing. The Ki

variant is much more reliant on mental ability while the Mana variant is a nonphysical energy field that is seen as slightly more powerful.

However, this also makes the Ki variant much more versatile than its Mana variant. And in some cases, you'll find someone born with a special telekinetic ability that others may not have.

Flash flipped through the pages as he got what he needed from that tidbit reading. And wouldn't you believe it, he found what he was looking for...

TㅤEㅤLㅤEㅤKㅤIㅤNㅤEㅤTㅤIㅤCㅤㅤAㅤBㅤIㅤLㅤIㅤTㅤYㅤ:ㅤ DㅤRㅤEㅤAㅤM ㅤㅤAㅤDㅤMㅤIㅤN

Dream Admin is one of the most difficult abilities to master. That being said it is also a rare ability that very few are born with this special ability. It's a rarity is similar to that of Ki Conjurer. The telekinetic ability to concentrate that same energy into a functional energy orb.

Dream Admin works when the 'Admin'; the user. Uses the ability within nearby Dream Channels with strong enough telekinetic signals. The basic idea is that they bring said signals into a coherent dream where the Admin has control over it and can end it at any time they want.

The Signals; the Telekentic users. Have virtually no control and cannot affect the dream all that much. Besides interaction with Dream Admin. This ability is lesser effective with non-telekentic, though still possible.

The ability does have one rule. The Signal must be in close proximity.

Flash narrowed his eyes on that description. It was more than enough info to serve him well. "I'm gonna bet that she was born with this ability..." And, reading this made what the Dreamscape virus said much more understandable.

"And as long we're in here. You can't beat me!"

No matter what Flash or Fluttershy did...it couldn't be them to stop whatever it was. It would have to be Dream Admin: Starlight Glimmer.

He set the book down lightly. As Adagio and Smolder looked on.

"Well, that was quick." The teenage Dragon pointed out, "Did you really find what you were looking for?"

Flash sighed and responded Adagio, "Yeah sort of. The problem is now that I don't have a clear cut plan..." He got up from his seat, "Well, I'll be back at 2. Wish me luck!"

His body flickered; Using his Super Speed he headed back to school...

Shining blew the whistle as the class was set to play a game of Basketball. "Okay! Everybody make even teams. Winds, Skies your the captains!"

Flash however couldn't care less as he was in deep thought about the task at hand. And to be honest, Fluttershy was just as focused on the recent nightmares.

He was in his Gym Clad: A blue Long sleeve Lodestar Wondercolts Shirt. Black shorts and his usual red sneakers.

By now, she knew that something was up. And well, the only other person she's seen in the dreams was Flash. And given the fact he had walked in looking similar to her. She knew that it was too much of a coincidence that he and she were sharing a dream.

However, what she was supposed to say to him was something she couldn't think of.

"I'll take Burns." Said Winds.

"Alright, I'll take Norman," Soarin' replied.

Flash stroked his chin, as a plan was slowly but surely developing. "Okay, if I know that Starlight's supposed to be a 'Dream Admin' how am I supposed to help her get rid of this thing?" He couldn't help but finally acknowledge Fluttershy, "Well it's not just me though. Is it?" He discretely glanced at Fluttershy, whom this whole time was staring him down.

And well, she noticed quickly that Flash eyed her and she widened her eyes. Looking away, trying not to give off any odd vibe or anything.

But, the teen was able to deduce that she was looking at him because of the whole Nightmare stuff. "It's odd. I think she's caught on that it's not a coincidence. But...we haven't even tried to go up to each other at all today?" He shook his head, "Well, she hates me anyway. So trying to strike up a conversation would be pretty useless..."

"I'll take Rainbow Dash," Soarin' said.

"Alright, I'll guess take Wiz' then."

The two captains went on and on with picking their rosters until they were left with two people coincidentally enough:

Flash and Fluttershy.

Curly Winds shrugged, "Alright, I'll take Fluttershy."

Soarin' widened his eyes, realizing that he was left with Sentry. "Oh, Shit..."

"Alright, well then I guess that settles it. Sentry, you're on Skies' team." Shining declared.

Flash widened his eyes, as he was snapped back into reality. "Huh?" He looked over at his said team, where to no one's surprise. His teammates were glaring at him.

His eyelids lowered as his team consisted of literally everyone that hated him. Most prominently: Sunset, Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

What made things a little. More of a bummer was the fact that Ember, Sonata and Aria were taking a health class quiz to catch up. So it was just Flash here on his own.

Basically the good old days.

"Fuck..."

Shining blew his whistle, "Okay, everyone has a team meeting and the game will be underway shortly.

Each team walked towards opposite benches. Which also meant Flash had to do the same. And conversate uncomfortably.

Well, he would've. But Soarin' already came up with something.

He purposely bumped into Flash and bluntly said, "Just play defence and if you can. Pass it to someone good."

The rest of his team walked past him. All glaring at him or doing the same gesture and purposely bumping into him.

And well, Flash was not about to take that.

He scowled, he wanted to pummel their faces so badly. But alas, if he did he'd probably be grounded for weeks.

But improvision was a thing...

"Yeah, like I'm gonna orders from that prick." He looked around, seeing that both teams were busy devising a gameplan while the Teacher was organizing the scoreboard.

He smirked, he was in the clear to use super speed. So he did...

His body flickered for a moment before coming back. And this time, he had a bigger, more devious smirk across his face.

Shining blew his whistle and they were off!

And wouldn't you believe it, Flash was on the bench. Well, I guess being the last pick should've been pretty obvious that he'd be benched. But that didn't matter all too much for him, he was more concerned about the whole Dreamscape thing.

Anyway, Soarin's team got first possession. Being the point guard, he ran it up the court. Before passing to the shooting guard; Sunset Shimmer.

We know Soarin and Rainbow Dash for their athletic skill. But Sunset wasn't exactly all that bad either. Well growing up in a pretty athletic family kind of gave her a bit of a boost.

She dribbled the ball through her legs, doing her best to keep it away from the defender; Heat Burns.

She found an opening and drove into the mid-range area. Going up for a jump shot, laying it in.

But again, they were up Curly Winds team, a team with one Varsity player!

Twilight was the point guard, she dribbled the ball down the court. Before passing it to the Small Forward: Curly Winds.

This set up the matchup between Soarin' and Curly Winds. The two best players on the court.

It was an Isolation (ISO) Play. As Winds kept Skies on his feet with his lightning-quick dribbles and footwork. At the same time, Skies was holding Winds down to the shot clock. As he was a pretty great defender.

But again, Winds proved he was the better player. By hitting the contested 3. Going up for a tough jumper outside the key. Hitting a Bank Shot.

The game was back and forth for the most part. As each team upped the ante with each possession. That was until Shining blew the whistle. "Time Out-60 Seconds."

Flash sighed, mumbling to himself, "Dammit, and I was onto something too..."

Soarin' got everyone huddled up. "Alright, we're down by 3. Curly Winds always plays the full quarter. So we need someone on him."

Rainbow Dash raised her hand, "Just count on me."

Soarin' smiled and nodded. "Kay, everyone else finds a person you can guard. Always find an open look on offence and don't be afraid to get into the boards!"

Flash who wasn't participating in the team huddle rolled his eyes. Getting up from off the bench, "Alright, I might as well get this over with..."

It was there that the rest of the team noticed the odd man out. Soarin rolled his eyes and scowled, "And you can just inbound the ball and make yourself useful on defence."

Flash rolled his eyes, turning around to walk onto the court. Not responding to him at all.

The Second Quarter began, and as Soarin' had asked, Flash inbounded the ball to Rainbow Dash as she decided to play point guard in Soarin's place. While Flash played Power forward.

Rainbow Dash ran down the court, dribbling the ball to the opponent's side.

Curly Winds guarded her with his exceptional lockdown defence.

And well, it really showed as Rainbow Dash attempted a contested step-back three-pointer. However, the ball rolled out of the rim and was rebounded by Heat Burns. Who passed it to the shooting guard; Wiz Kid.

Wiz, a short teen with a brown bowl-cut. Was pretty decent at the sport, being on a travel team himself.

He ran the ball up the court with the rest of the team. Going towards the key to go for a jumper 3.

However, the possession, for the most part, was short-lived.

Sentry came right out of nowhere and stripped the ball away from Wiz. Catching him off-guard as the teen widened his eyes. Unable to react in time.

Flash quickly dribbled the ball down the court. Not listening to anyone from his team. Not the many cries for him to pass the ball from Rainbow Dash, Soarin' or the rest of the team.

He was just in his own bubble.

He aggressively drove into the paint. Going up in the air for a reverse layup. Putting it in the basket easily.

His teammates widened their eyes to that. So needless to say they were surprised by that swift point. Because well...I think you get the idea: Flash doing something they've either never seen him do before, or they can't do...

Yeah, they were surprised.

Flash jogged down the court. Back to his team's side. And well, Wiz Kid walked right past him and purposely bumped into him. Even sneering at him.

Flash rolled his eyes and shot him back a smirk. Shrugging at him.

He turned to look back at his team. All looking at him with surprised expressions.

But he kept his composure and just calmly walked past them. Not giving them any sort of acknowledgement whatsoever.

Shining clapped, "Nice footwork Sentry!"

Curly Winds inbounded the ball to Rarity: The backup point guard. Where she passed it back to him, letting him dribble up the court.

That was Rainbow Dash's man. Once he crossed the halfcourt line. She got on him. Locking him down on defence as much as she could. Hopefully enough for the shot clock to go down a bit.

However, just as Winds dribbled to the left. Rainbow Dash was caught in a screen set by an offensive player. Letting Winds drive to the basket to lay in a point.

But yet again, Flash struck.

Flash quickly ran into the point and leapt in front of Curly Winds. Blocking the attempt hard!

Curly Winds widened his eyes as he came down and landed. And yet again, Flash's team was shocked.

Sentry didn't waste any time. He ran for the ball immediately. Managing to catch it and once again run down the court for a fast break. Going up for a quick floater in the paint. Scoring another two points.

That's when Curly Winds decided to get serious. "That bitch is so not getting away with that..."

The next 3 minutes of the second quarter would go as follow. Each team managed to score points, however, Flash was the one predominantly lighting up Curly Winds' team. As he was putting in shot after shot.

Layup after Layup, Jumper after Jumper, Fadeaway after Fadeaway

by then the score was tied 40 to 40. As Shining called a time out for both teams.

Rainbow Dash scowled at Flash as she walked past him, "You know this is supposed to be a team game..."

"Said the Narcissist..."

Rainbow Dash grit her teeth and glared at the Saiyan, "WHAT'D YOU SAY!"

Flash stopped and stroked his chin, coming back with a wise-ass answer, "The...truth?"

Rainbow Dash just had the urge to punch him. But she suppressed it, and just ended the conversation with an insult, "Wise-Ass, Prick!"

Flash rolled his eyes and walked back to the bench. Sitting down in his seat and letting out a sigh.

However, his teammates were still glaring at him. As if he'd do something wrong. And well, this time he was genuinely confused.

"What?"

"Well for starters, Rainbow Dash is right, is team-game. Asshole."

Applejack soon chimed into the conversation. "And don't be actin' like yer better than everyone all o' a sudden just cuz you played...out there all willy nilly."

At this point, it was ridiculous. But then again, Flash should've expected this.

He sighed, "So has anyone ever told you that you were as stubborn as a mule."

Applejack scowled at Flash and cracked her fist. "Whut was that?"

Flash nodded, "Yeah, you're right. You all are," Before they could respond. Flash followed up on that statement. "I was just doing my job and making myself useful. Just like this asshole said. But somehow you all are all still mad at me? I swear, there is no way I could impress a person." He rolled his eyes and did his best to hold back a smile, as he thought of something really funny to say. Just for the sake of Irony. Doing his best at a deadpan delivery, "I swear sometimes I feel like an alien in this city."

And wouldn't you believe it, it actually worked.

As soon as that line was uttered. Everyone widened their eyes to that, not expecting that to be said. Especially by him. Seeing how he's: Not supposed to know that...

Flash calmly got up. And acted as if he didn't say anything out of the ordinary "Well you all do whatever you want. I'm clocking out."

He nodded at the teacher, "Yo, can I go to the washroom"

Shining responded by nodding, "Don't take too long."

Flash exited the Gymnasium. Smirking triumphantly, relieved a little "Well, that should take care of that problem for a few weeks or so."

A/N: Hey look I'm doing one of these again

So, for those who don't play Basketball or are a fan of Basketball...I hope that the majority of the Chapter was understandable. I needed to think of a quick Anime moment so the lead up to the finale wouldn't feel too rushed.

So, I think this Arc will end in the next two or three, maybe even four chapters. As I intended it to be really short (Unlike other Arcs...:P)
