As Teller moved slowly down the tunnel, the claustrophobic walls of the underworks seemed to continuously close in around him.

"You should have gone home when you had the chance, Vonn," said the disembodied voice of the Huntress. Her words echoed around him, louder than the rattling pipes and the humming of machinery. "I don't like the idea of killing a kid."

"I'm not a kid. I'm a Jedi."

Her lightsaber snapped open, just as he rounded a corner. Their blades slammed together in a brilliant display of red and gold light, that came within inches of Teller's nose.

She disappeared just as quickly, her lightsaber switching off and Teller staring into the darkness, wondering where the next strike would arrive from.

It went on for that for what felt like hours, Teller's mask working overtime as his breathing became erratic and his heart continued to beat wildly.

However, even when the fear seemed overwhelming he knew what Thayla would say, that being a Jedi meant continuing headlong into the darkness and facing what lay ahead.

This was bigger than his own life. This was about his friends, his allies and everyone on Centrallis.

Deeper and deeper into the bowels of Shilrakaen he went, always on alert and watching for movement in the shadows, until the tunnel finally opened up into a grand chamber.

A dozen new tunnels laid before him, but at the center of the room stood the Huntress. She gripped her lightsaber quite casually, but the look in her eyes was one of ferocity and bloodlust.

"I think it's about time this ended. Do you agree, kid?"

Teller fell into a defensive stance, not moving from the tunnel's exit.

"Well, the option to drag this out further is entirely in your hands."

Pompously, she turned her back to him and began to simply stride out of the room. However, she heard the rattling of a pipe and the sound of an object whizzing through the air just in time to dodge an explosive aimed at her head.

Teller had noticed the proximity sensor hastily strapped to the doorway. Despite being a Jedi, he had no qualms about using the Huntress's own thermal detonator against her.

It had taken him only a moment to hop over the sensor, rip off the explosive and send it flying toward her with a force-enhanced lob. Though she managed to dodge it, the blast knocked her off balance just long enough for Teller to take a swing at her torso.

The Huntress jumped back, dodging a second swing and attempting to retreat down a nearby tunnel.

However, Teller reached out to a nearby damaged pipe, which, with little effort, shattered into shards of metal and released a torrent of hot steam.

She turned back to him, catching his saber against hers at the very last moment.

"If you're so strong, then stay and fight."

Teller stepped away just as the Huntress drew a pistol with her free hand. She fired another burst, which he just barely managed to deflect.

Just as the third shot left the barrel, Teller reached out with his hand to yank the pistol forward, only to find that the Huntress had been expecting it. The pistol came forward, but so did a swing from her lightsaber.

Teller screamed in pain and fell to the ground, clutching his right hand. His thumb and pointer finger had remained unscathed, but half of his middle finger and the entirety of his last two digits had been cleanly sliced off.

He quickly got back to his feet, knowing that the fight was not over, but could only hold his lightsaber over his head in a desperate bid to ward off the furious incoming attacks.

"I am sick of dealing with you," the Huntress exclaimed, through gritted teeth. Teller fell to the ground once again and she kicked him in the temple with her plated boot. "I don't care if I have to rebuild my Battalion from scratch. I will hunt down your friends and I will kill them for humiliating me, today."

Teller scuttled across the floor, once again barely managing to deflect her strikes.

"You might have lived, if you hadn't gotten involved with the Jedi. You should have seen the mess you left in Davn or the rampages they went on before you ever arrived."

He held up his lightsaber again, but she grabbed his wrist and twisted it until it fell from his grasp.

The Huntress held her red blade up high, ready to bring it down on the young Jedi Knight.

"If nothing else, at least I get to add your head to my wall."

Her saber came down, but was halted after only a few inches by a sight that took her completely by surprise.

After summoning it from across the room, Teller held the Huntress's own pistol in his crippled hand. The weapon shook from the extreme pain, but remained squarely focused on her chest.

She dropped her lightsaber and slowly moved her hand up toward the sky. "Good move, kid."

Higher and higher it went, as the older woman smiled down at him, like a friend.

"You fought very well. I respect you."

That moment was the hardest Teller had ever focussed, stretching out with his feelings and keeping himself centered in that moment.

"You're a good kid."

In an instant, her hand jerked upward, expecting his eyes to follow it, as her other hand released his wrist and moved to swat the pistol away from his weakened grasp.

However, Teller's eyes never wavered, and the moment her skin was no longer in contact with his, he fired a stun bolt square into her heart.

The Huntress's body seized and she fell backward onto the durasteel floor like a sack of bricks.

Teller finally dropped the pistol and went back to clutching his wound.

He pulled himself to his feet, removed her weapons and stood above his defeated foe. Though he was in pain and still worried for his friends safety, he smiled, knowing that it was over.

Finally, the Blood Battalion was done.
