"Who knew we'd end up bumping into each other here?" Nick asked as they strolled passed the stands stationed on either side. "Guess you guys are just as big of comic fans as Carrots and I are. Never knew that until now."

"Well, I enjoy watching the superhero movies with Skye," Jack responded. "When she heard that her favorite actor from the series we watched was going to be here, I promised to take her here so she could get an autograph."

"That's nice," the fox said, nodding his head as the two strolled through the open space.

Just like it had been for a couple years, the annual entertainment convention arrived at the Zootopia Convention Center in Savannah Central. Compared to the previous convention that Nick and Judy went to the previous year, it seemed to drive a lot more visitors. And for good reason, because this year's event had more stands and more activities than it did before.

The fox and his jackrabbit friend walked passed some of the vendors that they had already been passed, heading over to another part of the building that they hadn't went to yet. The space was a lot more open, and Nick noticed some things that weren't previously placed there.

Over the chattering and talking of the goers inside the center, the two started to hear what sounded like Gazelle's music coming from the far left side of the space. Upon walking over there to see where the pop tunes were coming from, they came across a booth that was large in size. Standing on the booth's stage were four mammals that were dancing along to the music. An audience of mammals that had gathered to this spot, a good number of them dressed to resemble their favorite characters, watching them as they did so.

The booth appeared to be sponsoring a new game of some sort where that involved dancing.

Once the popular tune came to an end and the dancing stopped, the mammals that were watching them applauded. A panda walked back to the middle of the stage after standing away from the four that were dancing, holding onto a microphone.

"Good job, you guys!" she said to them. "Now I hope everybody here has a chance to dance up here and have a good time!"

"What do you say, Jack?" Nick said to the buck, lightly nudging him on the shoulder with his elbow. "Think we should give it a go?"

"I might have to take a raincheck on that," Jack responded, shaking his head.

"Why's that?" the vulpine wanted to know.

The striped leporine shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not what you would call a good dancer," he admitted. "I'm afraid my dancing might be a bit embarrassing."

"It'll be fun," Nick responded with reassurance. "Besides, Skye's still waitin' in line with Judy to get that autograph, so we've got enough time to try this out."

Jack sighed. "If you say so…"

When the panda on the stage asked who wanted to come up next and try it out, Nick raised a paw up in the air. She quickly notices him and the buck standing there and nodded her head.

"Alright, you two," the ursid announced to them. "Come on up! And we need two more to join us, everybody. Who else wants to have some fun up here?"

Two folks came up from the audience of costumed mammals, slowly making their way over to where Nick and Jack were standing. To the left of the fox was a raccoon that was dressed in blue long-sleeved shirt and shorts and a matching cap, making him resemble a character he was familiar with. To the right of the striped rabbit stood a gray wolf with a happy-go-lucky expression on his muzzle. The canid appeared to be wearing a white tunic-looking costume, as well as a what looked like a crown on his head and a pair of wings on his back.

Jack recognized who both of the mammals were dressed in the likeness of. The one to his right, however, he recognized quicker, as he was dressed like one of the characters in a game that Skye had played before.

The buck turned his attention to his left and then to his right, looking at the two mammals that had joined them on this stage. Dancing at an event alongside a wolf angel and a raccoon that dressed to resemble a master thief was something he would have never thought he would ever be doing. Nobody would ever believe him if he later told them about this unusual juxtaposition, and yet it was actually happening.

Well, Jack thought, this'll surely make for a silly story down the road.

"This your first time playing this thing?" the wolf in the costume asked, looking over at him. "This is my second time I've been up here."

The lagomorph turned his head to him and said, "Yeah, I've never done this before. Honestly not sure what I'm doing."

"No worries," the gray-furred canid replied, the wings of his outfit flapping slightly as he got himself ready to start dancing. "It's as simple as followin' what it shows you to do. But ya wanna feel the rhythm in your soul. That's the trick to gettin' good at it."

Jack simply nodded at the wolf as the panda came over to each of them and gave them their controllers to wear on their wrists. A short time after that, electronic music started to play, amplified by some speakers presumably behind them. The four mammals then started to mimic the simple dance moves that game being displayed on the screen.

Jack was a short instant off from the fox and the other two for a moment, causing him to not get points on the screen for doing so, but he quickly got the hang of it and started to dance in sync with the others. He quickly glanced over at Nick, who was grinning widely.

The rabbit thought to himself, The fox is right: This actually is kinda fun. I really need to stop bein' so serious all the time.

He started to smile as he continued to dance to the music that pumped through the speakers. As he did so alongside Nick and the raccoon and wolf on the stage, Skye started to walk towards the others that were congregated around the area. Although Jack in that moment was unaware of it, she came over to this portion of the building after getting the autograph she had been hoping to get for quite some time.

As Judy walked over to where she was standing, Skye pointed in the direction of the stage. The doe and vixen watched as their companions happily danced in rhythm on the stage.

The arctic vulpine couldn't help but giggle upon seeing the buck up there. She quickly pulled out her phone to record a short video, and Judy grabbed hers so she could capture the memory of her fox on that stage as well.

Author's Note: About two years ago, I did a little story about Nick and Judy attending an event that is similar to the one that I described here. Looking back at said story, I decided to write this one.

Anybody manage to guess who that raccoon was dressed like? :)

I know this was one of my sillier stories, but I would love to know what y'all thought of this one. As always, your thoughts, whether good or bad, are always gladly appreciated.

'Til next time, everybody! :)
