Flash and Fluttershy rushed through the hallway of the third floor. As they had gotten the room number of where Starlight Glimmer was (Thanks to Fluttershy).

After running down the hallway, they rushed into the Intensive-Care-Unit hallway, right to room 3019. And it was there, they saw two adults, sitting and walking with great tension. Both sharing many similarities with Starlight Glimmer.

The first adult they saw was a short stubby male with dark blue hair. Wearing a clad of a leather jacket, white-tee, bootcut jeans and leather boots.

The other was a tall and slender female with long magenta hair with light blue streaks. Dawning a long sleeve shirt, a vest, khakis and some boots.

The two teenagers were only able to deduce them as Starlight's parents...

And boy was that an inconvenience for Flash. Because explaining what's been going on is going to be the most...awkward thing in the entire world.

"Uh...you have an excuse...right?" Fluttershy mumbled.

Flash widened his eyes, "Uh, honestly I didn't anticipate this..."

"You mean you got nothing?" Fluttershy hissed.

Flash rolled his eyes to that and glared at her, "How was I supposed to know her parents would be here?"

"Oh gee, I don't know, hmmm...let's think about that..." She sarcastically stroked her chin, "Hmm...If my child was in the hospital in the coma I'd most definitely be there-How did you not think her parents wouldn't be there?!" She bellowed.

"Well, I'm an orphan! My judgement can only go so far."

Fluttershy shot him a perplexed look, "I-You..." She annoyingly sighed, "So much for your big plan of yours."

Flash rolled his eyes, "Oh, fuck you," He started for the entrance of the room, "I got this," He sighed, walking up to the door. He knocked on it, signalling the attention of both parents as they turned to glance at Flash. As he greeted them, "Yo."

Starlight's Father arched his eyebrow, "Uh...can I help you?"

"I'm Flash Sentry," The Saiyan greeted, "Um, so uh listen...so your daughter Starlight has been kind of contacting me in my dreams because she's got some sickness?"

Starlight's mother widened her eyes, immediately rushing for the entrance, "How do you know my little girl's name?!"

"I..sort of just explained-Look she told in my dream...well I guess our dream because this sort of thing has happened-"

"Oh for the love of..." Fluttershy groaned and walked into the room herself, pushing Flash aside and just getting to the point. "Look, we've all been having the same Nightmare about some guy in a hood and some little girl named Starlight Glimmer, and somehow this guy found out that she's here and has been in a coma for a bit."

The two parents widened their eyes, before glancing at Flash for more background.

"I...T-The School Dean's Grandmother works her," Flash's shoulders dropped, "and she told me while she was trying to give me...detention."

"Who was the nurse?" The father asked

"Nurse Choquette."

"Oh, I love nurse Choquette!" Starlight's Mother beamed, "She's been so nice and has been doing her best to help nurse Starlight back to health."

"So...does that mean you believe us now?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, I mean it doesn't seem like you two are lying," Starlight's father responded, "But uh...what exactly are you doing here."

"Um...So I'm going to wake up your daughter," Flash said blankly.

And if that didn't make either of them even more surprised than they already were. Both of her parents widened their eyes to the size of dishes, not believing what they were hearing.

"WHAT!?"

"Look, just...I know we don't exactly know each other or anything. But I have a sure plan to wake her up and help her beat what she's currently going through right now. You have to trust me."

The two parents didn't know what else to say. Common sense would usually just say that this guy was an insane man who was making up stuff and should probably be kicked out of the hospital.

But, on the other hand. He somehow knows their child's name and knows a nurse here whose been working closely with the family since they arrived.

And well, that sort of outweighed the doubt in their mind.

"H-How?' Starlight's Mother asked, "Doctors have been working for weeks to get to the bottom of what's going on. How are you going to wake her up!?"

"Just trust me..." Flash sighed, as he made his way into the hospital room softly.

It was surreal, to say the least. Even though they had technically already met one and another. This was the first time Flash and Starlight were meeting in person. Even if it was a little one-sided.

Starlight laid in that hospital bed, with a feeding tube in her nose to plenish her hunger for the time being. And a monitor (an electrocardiogram) showing her breathing status. Which was okay so far,

Flash stopped and sat down, speaking to the little girl telekinetically.

Starlight..."

Starlight widened her eyes and gasped, as she heard Flash's voice. All while trying to look away from Nightmare who was mercilessly chasing her in a dream sequence; A Dark vacuum that was like a hallway.

"F-Flash?!" She asked.

Nightmare stopped and looked up..."If it isn't the hero himself.."

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ"I'm about to fall asleep any second now. So, do that thing where you bring me into your dream again."

Nightmare cackled and scoffed at that request, "Even after all I've told you. You still think you stand a chance against me."

Starlight winced a little, terrified of the monster behind her. But, she wouldn't be alone again. This time, Flash was willing to come and help her. Opposed to her normal desperate measure of using Dream Admin on him...

Flash's eyelids began to flutter as he was becoming wobblier and wobblier. Much to the confusion of the two parents.

But before they could say anything. Both Flash and Starlight's foreheads began to glow a teal green aura around one and another. As Flash was succumbing to his exhaustion and fell right to sleep.

Both parents and Fluttershy gasped at that. As neither of them has ever seen this before. Fluttershy especially, seeing how she was also present in every dream so far. It was kind of interesting to see it happen in person.

Suddenly within the Dreamscape, Flash's body began to materialize right in front of Starlight. Entering with a pretty confident smile on his face.

He stood between both Starlight and Nightmare. Standing...pretty nonchalant actually.

Nightmare maniacally cackled at the teenager, "Stubborn, fool. When can you realize that this is a battle you cannot win."

Flash shrugged, as he spoke in a calm tone, "Till I lose," He turned to Starlight, just brushing off Nightmare as if he were nothing. Offering her his hand, "Come on, let's go."

Starlight widened her eyes, "B-But the..."

"I said, let's go," Flash gently interjected, "Everything'll be alright..."

It was there that Fluttershy also began to materialize. Having fallen asleep in the real world. Starlight's Dream admin had activated and brought her into her dreamscape.

Fluttershy stood dumbfounded in a daze for a quick moment. As she was just in a dark vacuum.

Before Nightmare completely jumpscared by the Dreamscape Nightmare, as it appeared right in front of her. Causing to her yelp and jump out of fear.

"EEP!" She squeaked, latching onto Flash tightly.

Flash furrowed his eyebrow, pretty unamused by that, though he did his best to just keep his calm composure.

He sighed, gently pushing Fluttershy off of him as he gently pulled Starlight off the ground. "Alright let's go," He grabbed both of their hands, knowing that they were both too shaken up to just go on their own.

They all began to walk, all while Flash kept the calmest and most nonchalant demeanour as he could. That was when Nightmare suddenly popped out right in front of them. Using his eerie silence to scare both Fluttershy and Starlight Glimmer...

But not Flash...

Flash stood there, unphased. Acting as if nothing was there.

He glanced down at the terrified child. Thereafter asking the most random question...

"So, what's your favourite place in the world?"

Starlight widened her teary eyes. Looking up at Flash, "W-What?"

"Yeah, if you'd want to go anywhere in the world. Where would you want to be?"

Starlight tilted her head in confusion. As she wasn't catching Flash's drift at all. The question was certainly random, and well. And given the entity right in front of them. She didn't know how to answer, "I-I don't know..."

"Well sure you do," Flash responded, "I mean, just imagine a place in the world that you'd wanna go to. Anywhere in the world."

Nightmare scoffed at the Saiyan teenager. Summoning a tentacle out of his cloak, "Quit being a fool and accept that you can't do anything, hero!" He sent the tentacle right at Flash.

However, things would be a lot different...

The tentacle went right through Flash as if he were a ghost or something.

Nightmare, Fluttershy and Starlight gasped at that. As Flash stood unphased by any of that.

"WHAT!" Nightmare screeched, baffled by what had just happened.

He sighed, "Okay maybe I should just help you out. First, just close your eyes..."

Starlight, though still pretty confused on why Flash was acting this way. Did so, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.

"Now uh...imagine an amusement park. Imagine the biggest amusement park you can think of. Just an entire amusement park all to yourself with rides, games, snacks. Everything you'd ever want in an amusement park..."

Starlight began to do so. Thinking of the biggest amusement park she could think of; The happiest place she could think of...

A Sunny amusement park with everything she'd ever want. Trying to think of as many things as she could ever want from an amusement park...

Fluttershy widened her eyes as the scenery around them began to warp. As the long dark hallway expanded into a bright and sunny day. In other words, beautiful landscaping.

Then other structures began to materialize:

Different tall and whacky-looking attractions like rides and games stretching out from the ground. Restaurants and food trucks just popping out of nowhere. And of course, what is an amusement park without happy and ecstatic employees and tons calling out to the three to "step right up" to whatever attraction or inviting them to have some carnival food.

Starlight's eyes slammed open. Lighting up to seeing what bestowed upon her now; A hub of happiness.

The Nightmare couldn't believe what he was seeing. "W-What's going on?!"

"Isn't it obvious?" Nightmare glanced at Flash, as he went on, "You're just a really bad dream, so it'd seemed obvious that a really good dream would be what'd neutralize you. And, given the fact that she's the 'Dream Admin' here: She can do whatever she wants in here," He chuckled a little and smirked, "I mean you said it yourself right?: As long as I'm in here, I can't do anything. But she can..."

Fluttershy widened her eyes, realizing Flash's entire plan, "I-I get it now. This virus gets stronger and stronger by feeding on Starlight's fear. So all's she has to do is act the opposite and just disregard it. So his plan along wasn't to take the matter into his own hands, he was just setting her up to do it instead."

Nightmare growled, turning to glance at Starlight who was captivated by the amusement park in front of her. As she slowly began to grin widely and the bright and colourful scene.

Nightmare lunged for Starlight, only for Flash to grab onto the hooded figure's cloak. Restraining him from moving any further.

Nightmare's empty and shadowy face turned to look at Flash, (interpretedly) glaring at him as he sneered at the Saiyan, "No, there's no way I'm going down to an insolent, incompetently irritating child like you."

"Yeah," Flash responded blankly, "You're going down to a kid in an amusement park..."

Starlight grinned even wider as if all her fears of Nightmare were alleviated...no abolished; vacated. Anything synonym that correlates with that word. Because what she bestowed right in front of herself was too good to look away from.

She squealed in excitement, as she rushed for the area.

Nightmare groaned, as suddenly a piece of him abruptly disappeared. Almost like an explosion. It was the part that Flash had grabbed onto, so as soon as it disappeared, he was free from's Flash's grasp. Albeit feeling much weaker.

"N-No.." He groaned, "I-I will not be made a MOCKERY OF!"

He began to go after the now joyful child as she went to go enjoy the rides and whatnot.

But suddenly, Fluttershy purposely stepped on the Dreamscape Nightmare's cloak. Restraining him again, all while she smiled slyly.

The Nightmare glanced at her, sneering at her as well, "Let go of me, you fragile little girl!"

"Hmmm...no," She responded blankly, though maintaining her smile.

Starlight got onto a Ferris wheel nearby. As she began to scream ecstatically from the rush from getting so high up into the sky. It was pretty exciting for her to say the least.

And well, it didn't really do any good for the Dreamscape Nightmare...

He groaned, with a sort of distorted voice, as another piece of him began to break off. Weakening him even more, "N-NO tHIS cAN't bE hApPenIng tO mMEE!"

Slowly and slowly. Starlight was starting to become more cheerful. As everything, just everything around her was so electrifying that her fears had nearly no more weight on her.

"Weee!" She howled, going down a crazy rollercoaster.

Nightmare groaned even more, as his condition was staggering!

"N-No..." In a last-ditch effort to regain what he had lost, he raised his arm, summoning a shadowy tentacle. "I wOn't lEt thIs BE!"

Doing the best he could, he shot the tentacle out towards Starlight Glimmer, hoping to once again instil some fear in her and regenerate.

Flash and Fluttershy? Well...

They didn't make any effort to stop it...as their efforts wouldn't be needed anymore...

Because things turned out differently this time.

By now, Starlight had made it to her most favourite ride; The merry-go-round. Complete with colourful, cartoony ponies who could...talk?

"Hi, there!" A Pink Pony with curly and poofy hair beamed with an eerily familiar squeaky voice, "Do you wanna go for a ride?"

"Would I ever!" Starlight beamed, jumping up and down in ecstasy. Before leaping onto the saddle of the pony. As it beamed for taking off!

But as that was happening, The Dreamscape Nightmare's tentacle came right for them...

But wouldn't you believe it? In a silly turn of events that is...

The Pink Pony's eyes lit up at the sight. Thinking it was something else: "Oooh, Licorice!" She immediately took a chomp out of the tentacle. Causing the Dreamscape Nightmare to scream.

"It's over," Flash sighed, "As long as you're in here. You can't do anything but watch..."

He was right, the goodness. The High Spirits. The colourful atmosphere. It was too much for Nightmare to handle. As long as he was in Starlight's good dreams. He was powerless and his time was up.

He began to disintegrate more and more. Becoming translucent as the Good overwhelmed the Bad. He screamed in agony, disappearing from the entire dreamscape as a whole.

"nNOOOoOOOoO!" He howled, as he exploded-

Starlight's eyes slowly cracked open, as she woke up finding herself in the hospital. In a daze, "Huh?"

Both Starlight's parents widened their eyes. Turning around to seeing their little girl waking up after being in a coma for so long. Both lunging for their daughter to hug her.

"STARLIGHT!" They exclaimed in unison running up to hug their daughter.

They both began to tear up. Having waited for this moment for so long.

"Honey you've wakened up!" Her Father sobbed.

"We were so worried about you, Starlight!" Her Mother added.

Starlight smiled warmly, as she enjoyed the embrace from her parents. "I missed you guys too!"

But they weren't the only ones in the room. Furthermore, Starlight wasn't the only one being attended to.

Just to the side, two nurses and a doctor were attending to Fluttershy. Trying to wake up the teenager as she had laid there for an astonishing half an hour without moving.

"Miss, miss are you alright?" The male nurse asked, gently shaking the teenager.

Fluttershy groaned, as her eyes slowly cracked opened. "Mm...W-What happened?..."

The nurses sighed in relief. Helping her the teenager up.

That just left the odd man out; Flash Sentry.

He too finally got up. Groaning as his eyes cracked open. Like Fluttershy, he was still extremely exhausted, sleep-deprived if you will.

And that being said, the medics in the room weren't as kind and sincere as they were with Fluttershy.

In fact, they were downright brutal!

The three all turned around to glare at Flash. Having already heard about what he had said downstairs about 'blowing up the hospital.'

"You!" The Doctor snarled, catching Starlight and her parents off guard by the tone. While Fluttershy was way too tired to react at all.

Suddenly, both the male and female nurse activated their Ki auras. Lunging right for the dazed teenager!

Before the exhausted Flash could realize what was going on, he was suddenly pinned to the wall! Restraining him by pinning his arms to the wall. One nurse pinning each forcefully. As the Doctor activated his Ki aura, clenching his fist as he slowly approached Flash menacingly.

"You're responsible for all of this!" Without any warning, the doctor thrusted his fist forward in Flash's face! Making the teenager groan, while Starlight and her parents gasped in shock!

Fluttershy widened her eyes as she was regaining composure.

The Doctor grabbed Flash's throat with one hand again, as he punched the teenager in the same spot! "And don't think we don't know about that little threat you made earlier," The Doctor grit his teeth and thrusting his fist into Flash's eye, "Somebody like you should be tied up to a tree and be PUT DOWN!"

Starlight's parents gasped at that foul comment made by the Doctor. And if you haven't figured it out by now, they aren't Canterlot. So they don't know what the big idea is.

But as Starlight's father was about to speak up...

Flash narrowed his eyes on the Doctor who was attacking him, obviously not taking that comment lightly.

In a shocking move, Flash used a bit of his strength to free himself from the grasp of the nurses! Before swiftly catching the Doctor's wrist to stop him from punching any further!

Both the Nurses and the Doctor widened their eyes, as that entire sequence had happened too quickly for them to comprehend.

And before long, Flash responded to the Doctor's punches by increasing the pressure of his grip; He squeezed the Doctor's wrist harder and harder before it started to hurt...

In other words, he was slowly crushing the Doctor's wrist!

Doctor widened his eyes as he groaned, not expecting this turn of events to take place. He tried to pull his wrist away, but Flash's grip was too strong. He looked into Flash's eyes; A blank, cold glare. Just staring down at him. Most likely as a response to what he said.

The latter watching widened their eyes to the scene. Not expecting to see that turn of events either.

But, his other hand was free. So, in an attempt to free himself, he tried to punch Flash once more!

But that ploy failed easily now that Flash had regained his composure.

Flash raised his left arm and palmed the punch easily! Keeping a strong grip on it as well, though not bothering to add any more pressure.

The Doctor widened his eyes, as he was completely powerless now. All while Flash just stared him down resentfully.

But, despite what the Doctor said...it wasn't the cruellest thing Flash had heard, heck by now he'd just become numb to it.

And besides: The job was done. There wasn't any other reason to stick around, he saved Starlight Glimmer and helped her take back her mind.

Furthermore, there was no way he'd really use an ounce of energy here. That'd defeat the purpose of trying to keep a low-profile (even if Fluttershy connected the dots and figured out he was a Saiyan).

He sighed and rolled his eyes, letting go of the doctor; pushing him away lightly. While the doctor stared at Flash, now keeping his distance.

All's Flash did was cock his eyebrow. Not at all caring what the Doctor could think.

"Y-You all have a good afternoon now..." He along with the two nurses began to exit the room cautiously, keeping their distance away from Flash after that...demonstration.

It was there that Starlight's parents finally struck up something to say after...well, that.

"A-Are you okay?" Starlight's Father asked, walking up to the teenager.

Flash sighed, "Yeah. But...well believe it or not this sort of thing is common."

Starlight's and her mother widened their eyes.

"What, why?!" Starlight's mother asked, "All of that just seemed unjustified..."

"You know..." He glared at Fluttershy, "I wish I knew."

Fluttershy frowned, standing there silently for the obvious reason. And, it wasn't like she could explain either. She'd be in trouble for that.

"Well, you're right. That all did seem unjustified."

Flash widened his eyes. Recognizing that voice immediately.

Meanwhile, the latter all glanced at the doorway, familiar with who that lady was. Except for Fluttershy of course.

Nurse Chou la Choquette. The nurse had been working closely with Starlight's family. She had white hair with light brown streaks; put into a bun. While also dawning the regular nurse work uniform.

Or otherwise known as Sugarbelle's Grandmother.

Her eyes widened and lit up to seeing Starlight sitting up in bed alright. As she smiled clasped her hands together, "Starlight, dear. You've woken up! Oh, this is wonderful,"

The child blushed sheepishly, greeting the nurse politely. Though being just a tad bit shy, "H-Hello."

"When did she wake up?" Nurse Choquette asked.

"J-Just a couple of minutes ago!" Starlight's Father beamed, before placing his hand on Flash's shoulder, "And it's all thanks to this young man here."

Nurse Choquette cocked her eyebrows, "Oh, is that so?"

"Mhm!" Starlight's mother nodded her head, "We don't know what he did, but somehow he managed to wake up our beloved princess."

Nurse Choquette looked at Flash, as the teenager became tenser and tenser. Just as the Nurse approached him.

"Oh boy..."

Why? Well because he had no doubt she caught wind of what he said...and just like Sugarbelle...

*SLAP!*

She took things seriously...

Everyone widened their eyes and gasped at that scene. While Flash took the slap like a man. Even if it stung like hell.

"WHY WOULD YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?" Chou asked, referring to Flash blowing up to the receptionist.

Starlight's father leaned closer to Flash's ear to whisper to him, "Jeez, what did you say?"

"Don't worry about it..." He sighed, turning to face Chou, "I...He said something to me and I lost my temper..." His face scrunched up a little, as he blushed sheepishly...

"Flash! What have I said about anger?"

Flash softly groaned as he put his head down. His shoulders also dropping, "To not show it..."

Chou folded her arms, "That's right. Do you have any idea how angry Sugarbelle would be if she found out about that?" She sighed, "So, as retribution. I want you to apologize to that nice receptionist."

"What!?" Flash widened his eyes, "B-But he called me a little sh-"

"Langauge!" The elderly woman asserted, "Flash, I taught you better than to use bad language," She then grabbed Flash's earlobe and pinched it, "Now, about that apology.

Flash groaned as his former care-talker dragged him all the way down to the lobby again. Leaving the latter dazed.

Fluttershy widened her eyes, "I...should probably go follow them," She sheepishly giggled, turning to give the family a final glance, "Well take care and get well soon Starlight!"

Starlight smiled warmly at that. Glad that she was finally out of that 'living nightmare'.

"Thanks, Guys."

"Ow, ow, ow, ow..." Flash whined as he was being pulled by the ear. Drawing attention from everyone in the lobby.

Chou dragged Flash to the receptionist desk. Where the receptionist sat there, stunned by the sudden reappearance of the latter.

"Now say sorry to the nice man."

Chou let go of Flash's ear, where he attempted to defend himself again, "But he-"

"Flash!" She interjected assertively.

Flash growled in annoyance. There was no way he was winning this argument at all. But at the same time, he really didn't want to do this.

But...

It wasn't like he was a regular here anyway...

He scrunched up his face and closed his eyes, deciding that it was better to get this over with, "I'm...sorry..."

All the receptionist did was glare at Flash, folding his arms, "Whatever, just get out of here and never come back-"

"Don't you ever insult him ever again!" Chou asserted, shutting up the rude receptionist, "I'll have you know he's like family to me. And don't think I didn't hear you order a doctor to: 'mess him up if you see him!'."

The receptionist widened his eyes, as he tried to justify himself, "Well-"

"Next time it'll be your job, got it!"

The receptionist slowly nodded his head, as he knew that Mrs. Chouquette's family was the one who owned the hospital. "Y-Yes ma'am."

Flash couldn't help but smile. Because at least his trip here wouldn't end on a sour note, but then again...it was like his nanny to always have his back.

She sighed, as her tone changed again, "Splendid," She turned to glance at Flash, ruffling his hair, "Okay, dear. You get on home now, get something to eat and get your homework done, kay?"

Flash nodded, "Yes, Nanny Chou."

He turned around, ready to leave. But as he did, Chou placed her hand on his shoulder. Leaning closer to his ear to whisper something to him, "And by the way, Sugarbelle told me about what's happened last week. Including the adoption. We all need to talk, tomorrow please?"

Flash widened his eyes a little, not expecting that. More or less because he was planning to tell her himself.

He sighed, staying as calm as possible, "I'll see what I can do..."

With that, Flash turned around and headed right for the exit. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, reflecting on the entirety of this recent adventure. Remembering when he had lost his cool...

"IF YOU DON'T TELL ME RIGHT NOW, I'LL BLOW THIS ENTIRE HOSPITAL TO SMITHEREENS!"

He scowled, gritting his teeth at the fact. Mad at himself for losing his own temper back there.

But that might not be the worst part...

Flash exited the hospital. Making out into the front outdoor corridor.

Before Fluttershy called out to him...

"Flash, wait?"

Flash's face scrunched up a little, as he stopped in place. Glancing at her over his shoulder. Staring her down with a glare.

Fluttershy seemed a little more sincere right now, but he obviously knew where this conversation was headed.

"Look, just...about...how did you find out..."

"That doesn't concern you," Flash responded blankly, "And by the way, this whole 'team' thing we have going on has just ended. This was just a one-time thing."

Fluttershy scowled, as she was kind of getting fed up with Flash's behaviour towards her, "Well why are you so mad at me? You're acting like I'm the only one who's-"

"You're just as bad as everyone else," Flash responded, "You along with most of the city have made my life a living hell. But please, you all would never have any empathy for an alien."

Fluttershy widened her eyes to that, as that statement hit really deep.

Flash rolled his eyes, and turned his head, "You better not tell anyone about this. The last thing I want is any more attention from any of you. And for the sake of Starlight's family and their privacy. Don't say anything about what's just happened."

He walked off, leaving Fluttershy standing there.

She frowned, she wanted to say something...but she couldn't. All's she could do was watch as he walked away.

To Be Continued...

A/N: Wow that was a long-ass chapter XD

Um, I didn't realize it would get so wordy but I really wanted to cap up the entire Arc.

But anyway, I forgot to mention this in the last chapter but this story is a year old! And that being said it's been a year since I joined this site. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's been supporting me and has been reading my stories!

With the release of Eagle Wing, I've decided that I wanted to a schedule of 10 chapters per story. Just to balance things out and have a less messy scehdule.
