Chapter 101 - Willful
The scout arched a brow, surveying her from the long slant of a prominent nose. "Indeed, Lady Priestess," his second bow was stilted and shallow. "No slight was meant. I didn't arrive here magically knowing your given name."
Kagome's smile fell. "But you don't use it now that we've been introduced?"
Curiosity lit his gaze. "It would be inappropriate of me to do so. I am not on that level of familiarity with the companion of our new 'leader'."
Kagome's eyes narrowed at the way he said the title. "I insist," she said icily, threading a hand through Kouga's arm.
