Welcome to Chapter One Hundred and Four!

Important! READ THIS! Since WWE Network is changing over to Peacock, writing this is going to get a little harder for me. As by now you know I still pretty close to the story of the show, meaning I watch each episode while writing the chapter. I'm still going to try my hardest to get the story out to you but it might be a little more choppy and I might miss things from the show. Please let me know is this is happening. Hopefully everything will be cleared up soon because as of right now Peacock doesn't even have all of Smackdown on it.

Monday Night Raw: July 4, 2014

Blasting music through his earbuds, Dean got warmed up for his match, a one on one with Randy Orton, or so it was written on paper. But with the Authority it was never cut and dry like that especially since they barred Roman from 'interfering' with the match.

Gritting his teeth at just the thought, he tried to mentally prepare himself for whatever was going to happen later tonight. He had a feeling that either Kane or Seth was going to come down and DQ the match. But who knows, they could throw the whole fucking locker room at him again, or Hunter himself could come down and smash his head in with his rusty trusty sledgehammer.

If I ever get my hands on that sledgehammer…

"Dean."

Looking from his third rep of fingertip pushups, he saw Angel standing there, looking all hot and ready to go in her 'gear'. He had to say he loved the way her leather jacket looked on her and the fact that his logo was on the back, like a brand, didn't help. "Is it time?" He asked, pulling his earbuds out. When she nodded, he took a deep breath and hopped up onto his feet in one smooth motion, earning him a shake of the head.

After dropping his phone into his duffle, they made their way down to the gorilla, only to see a couple of officials standing there as if they were waiting for something. Apparently that something was them because as soon as they spotted them, the two men stepped up and put their hands out. "Wait here."

Raising a brow, Dean asked if something was wrong.

"We just don't want a brawl to break out before your match."

"Ah." He knew what that meant, Seth was handing out in the gorilla for whatever reason. Sighing, he leant against the stone wall beside them.

"How much do you want to bet that this means that Seth is going to be at ringside." Angel said, handing him the water bottle that she was carrying.

"I don't make bets when the game it rigged." He said taking a drink of the water before bending over and pouring the rest out over his head. Giving his head a shake to get rid of the excess water, he stood up and was greet with a pouting Angel, who was now splattered with water droplets. "You got something on your face."

"Yeah?" She said wiping at a dry spot on her cheek. "Here, or where?"

Not able to stop himself, he smirked and looked her up and down. "Here," He pointed to her chin. "here," Her pointed to another spot this time on her nose. "here," Her neck. "here," Her arm. "and here." He reached forward and ran his finger long her chest where a drew droplets had made marks on her shirt.

When the unmistakable sound of Seth's theme song started, Dean let out an annoyed groan and glared up at the ceiling, like he could see the song coming from the speakers.

"I guess that answers that question." Angel sighed as she wiped her face on her jacket sleeve.

He nodded and turned towards the two officials with a raised brow. "Are we good to go now? I mean the Authority's little princess has left? Which means the gorilla should be free…" Both men crossed their arms and stood their ground. "I guess that means no."

Leaning back against the wall, he closed his eyes. For the first time since the spilt he actually allowed himself to take in Seth's music, let his mind process it. And much to his surprise it was more then just a bunch of noise that seemed to trigger a volatile response in him. And as much as he hated to admit it, it wasn't bad. It fit into the style of all of Seth's other themes that he had throughout the years of knowing him. Which was too bad because he only wished for it to the exact opposite of that.

As Seth's theme died down, it was instantly replaced with Randy's.

Dean opened his eyes and pushed himself once again from the wall. "Showtime." He sang, looking down at Angel. She smiled and nodded in reply as both of them turned towards the two officials. This time both men stepped back and allowed the through. "See you later boys." He handed one of them the empty water bottle before giving a fake sault and walking pass them.

When they made their way into the gorilla, he paid little attention to all everything that was going on in order to keep the show going. His eyes locked onto the screen that sat over the doorway to the stage. He watched as Randy slowly walked to the ring, the bastard was milking the crowd's reaction. Suddenly the screen cut to Seth, who was sitting next to JBL and Cole with his headset on.

"Of course, Seth's on commentary." He heard Angel sigh beside him.

"Why wouldn't he be there. It's a seemingly fair one v one match."

Angel rolled her eyes at his sarcastic comment. "Just promise me, you'll try to no lose your cool right away. Remember that Randy is out there too."

"Trust me, I won't forget that, that bastard is out there." How could anyone forget about a woman slash old man beater like him. "But I can't promise that I won't lose my cool." He said honestly. Sometimes he just couldn't hold off the murderous rage that he had for Seth. And he couldn't tell if this was one of those times, it would all depend on how he felt the moment he stepped out onto the stage and lay eyes on him,

Angel gave him a pat. "I know."

When the long guitar slide that singled his music started an instant rush of adrenaline hit him like a shot of lightening. Inhaling deeply, he slapped himself in the face and pushed through the curtain and out onto the stage for the second time tonight. As he walked around the wall of LED lights, the excited feelings grew as he took in the cheers of the crowd. Making every muscle in his body started twitching and come to life with the promise of a good fight.

Knowing that he needed to calm himself down a little, he threw a few warmup punches to work out some of the pent-up energy. Inhaling, he stopped at the top of the ramp. His eyes locked onto Randy and saw the unimpressed look on his face. "You and me, Randy!" He yelled over his music. "Show me what the 'Viper' really has." He smacked himself again.

Making sure to check if Angel was with him, he started down the ramp. His eyes flickered from Randy just for a moment and what do you know they landed on Seth who was sitting in his hair, huddled up, holding his briefcase like a child sacred that someone was going to come and take his toy away.

Locking his jaw, he felt himself starting to fall over the edge. Come on Ambrose get your head in the game. He yelled at himself while climbing into the ring. Focus. His eyes darted back to Randy.

"Where's your boyfriend?" Randy asked as they started to circle each other.

"I don't know, where's yours?" He smirked. "Sorry, I guess I would have to get more specific on that one, huh? I didn't mean Hunter and I know where Seth is, who I was asking about was Kane. That reminds me, I wanted to know, is it hard to suck off so many guys? Or what?" Dean could have sworn he saw the vein in Randy's forehead tick. This is going to be fun.

A.A.A.

Angel took her spot next to the apron and watched as the men in the ring squared up. She knew that Dean was felling it tonight, but for some reason Randy's mood seemed to change. He went from looking unamused to looking like he wanted to beat Dean into a bloody pulp. Dean must have said something.

When the bell rang, Dean charged in with wild punches, that she knew he didn't care where they landed as long as they hit Randy someone. Not giving Randy a moment to react, he kept wailing on him, even when Randy managed to kick him in the stomach. He pushed through the hit and blocked the punch that was aimed for his face.

"Keep it up!" She cheered as he grabbed Randy by the head and threw him into the corner. She jumped about as Dean rammed his shoulder into Randy's stomach. She couldn't help but get hyped when he was on fire. When Randy finally stumbled out of the corner, she expected to see Dean following him but instead Dean's attention had been drawn to Seth. "Dean, head in game!"

She didn't know if her words got to him or what, but he physically shook his head before turning back to Randy. However, the moment that Dean gave him let Randy come to his senses enough to hit another kick, one that Dean wasn't able to shake off as easily as the first. This allowed for Randy to grab him by the head and force him across the ring into the far corner.

Damn it. She knew that just Seth being present was enough to throw off Dean's game. Trying to keep her own head in the game, she raced around the ring to get a better view of what was going on. By the time she got there, Dean had reversed the move and Randy was the one whose face hit the turnbuckles. He then ripped Randy out of the corner by his arm and used the momentum to hit a short arm clothesline.

With Randy on the mat, Angel took the lull to glance over at Seth. Instantly she noticed something; that Seth seemed too calm for how smooth things were going for Dean. Sure, he was holding onto his briefcase like it was a security blanket, but he didn't seem worried, not at all. Something's not right.

Sighing, she turned back to the match in time to see Randy jump up from the mat and grab Dean's left arm, wrenching it down. A wave of nausea hit her as she watched Dean grab at his arm as he fell to the mat. Part of her had forgot that Dean had a big flashing target on him. One that as long as his opponent was smart, they would use again him. She just prayed that it was healed enough to take some abuse but then how much could an arm heal in five days?

While worrying about Dean, she didn't notice as Randy rolled out of the ring right next to her. When she noticed him, she spun on her heels so she could keep an eye on him. He smirked at her with a look that she knew was the look of the 'Viper'. Not sure what to do, she stepped back and plastered herself against the apron, letting him walk around her. As he passed, she heard a low chuckle that made her hair hand up on end.

Only when Randy was no longer around her did she glance up at Dean, who was trying to work out his shoulder. He rolled it, stretched it, and smacked at it; anything to get his blood flowing again. Stepping out of the corner, Dean locked his eyes on her with a brow raise.

Are you ok?

She nodded. I'm fine.

He took a deep breath as his attention instantly snapped over to Randy, who was climbing back into the ring. "Come on Randy." Dean taunted as the ref kept him back from the man who was trying to get into the ring. "Just get in here and hit me already."

As soon as Randy touched down on the mat, Dean was on him. He ramped his hip into the man's gut, headbutted him, and trapped him against the ropes. After a few more hits, Dean dragged him out to the middle of the ring and set up for a suplex. She readied for the hit, only to see Dean's eyes clamp shut halfway through. Her eyes widened as she realized that he was struggling to finish the move. But then his left arm gave out.

"Oh no." She gasped as Dean was forced to put Randy down and immediately grabbed at his taped-up shoulder and stepped back.

Randy being quick and clever, launched himself up with a drop kick aimed right at said shoulder. Dean's body crashed down to the mat and a horrific cry of pain came from his lips and made tears well in her eyes. He's got this. She repeated in her head even as Randy went for a cover.

When Dean kicked out at one, Randy went right for Dena's left arm again. Grabbing it, he hyper extended the shoulder backwards.

"Get out of there!" She yelled.

Dean fought to get up to his feet, which was shocking already but then he rolled and got his arm loose. He then grabbed Randy's leg, tripping him before stomping on him repeatedly.

She clapped while Dean set Randy up in what looked like the Regal Stretch, but she knew better, this was the version that Dean like to do. "YOU WANNA PLAY GAMES!" He yelled as he reached forward to put the 'stretch' part of the move. However, instead of grabbing Randy's arm to hyperextend around his shoulders, he grabbed the man's face and pulling him up by his nose. "You want to play games." Dean mumble turning his head to look at Seth. "You want to play games Seth?" He asked as he beckoned Seth over.

She glanced over at to commentary and saw Seth reacting to him, but she couldn't make out the words he was saying. She knew it had to be some big talk about kicking his ass. Whatever he was saying the man seemed to have no intentions of backing it up. At least not yet. What's your plan Seth? She asked as he eyed up the man in the all-black suit. Anyone who had two brain cells knew that he wasn't out of here for shits and giggles. There was no way. The man looked too relaxed, like he knew something they didn't. She just had to figure out what it was this time.

She clicked her tongue as her mind raced with the possibilities. She couldn't figure out what the Authority had planned, which means she had no way of stopping it either. They would have to play it by ear.

Randy's aggressive growl like yell, made her head snap back to the action to see Dean's face smashing into the turnbuckles next to her. The loud impact made her jump and her heart dropped as Dean slumped back and grabbed his nose. Worried, she stepped forward, but before she could get check over him, Randy came over and grabbed his left arm, yanking him up towards the ropes.

As he was being dragged, Dean's face twisted as if he knew what was about to happen and he fought it with all he could. However, even with all his bucking and flailing, randy was still able to force Dean's arm over the top rope, while ducking through the ropes himself. Without hesitation Randy jumped off the apron, ripping Dean's arm down with him.

Bile rose in her throat as she watched Dean's arm jolt as it smashed against the hard top rope. Watching Dean rolled around on the mat, while grabbing at his shoulder, he didn't notice Randy standing next to her until she heard his deep chuckle.

Looking up, she saw that he was standing too close for comfort with a smirk that made her skin claw. "Can't pop it back in place, if I shatter the bone first."

Her eyes widened as he slid back into the ring. He wouldn't. She told herself even as she watched him flatten Dean against the mat, while hyperextending his arm back again. Part of her knew that Randy was playing mind games with her, she knew how he worked, she had been watching him since he debuted back in 2000, but she couldn't help the feeling of dread that filled her as Dean fought to get to his feet. If Randy was serious and he broke Dean's arm… She shook her head. She wouldn't let herself think this way. She couldn't.

Trying to calm herself, she poured all her feelings into cheering for Dean to get out of Randy's hold. "Come on Dean!" She yelled. When Dean got back to his feet again, he started to throw elbows into the man's face. Randy answered these hits with a headbutt that had Dean stumbling backwards, while holding his nose. "Shake it off!"

Randy stalked after him and grabbed him for an Irish Whip. When he came racing back across the ring, Dean expertly ducked under the clothesline that Randy had set up for him before coming back with a crossbody that had both of them falling back towards the mat. Getting his knees under him, Dean landed above Randy in the perfect spot to start wailing punches down on the man's head.

She clapped her hands. "There you go! Keep on him."

In a rush of action, Randy pushed Dean away, got to his feet, and still to hit Dean in the shoulder with a Big Boot. The hit sent Dean falling backwards. However, before he could pull himself back into the ring, Randy met him with yet another kick.

She gasped with the crowd as Dean's body bounced against the ropes before rolling out onto the floor. Racing over, she landed on her knees next to Dean, her hand instantly finding his to squeeze. "How we doing?" She asked as if the man hadn't just been literally kicked out of the ring. The only answer she got was a returned hand squeeze.

"Angel, step back." She heard the ref yell at her in between his counts.

Dean's eyes opened and he looked up at her with a nod. Which she knew was his silent way of telling her to listen to the ref. Giving his hand one more squeeze, she rose to her feet and stepped back to the barricade.

Rolling his shoulder, Dean sat up. He cringed and held his left arm as close as he could to his body as he made it to his feet. Mind and sight clouded with worry for Dean, she didn't notice Randy had made his way out of the ring, until he was already on Dean. He grabbed him by the head and dragged him over to the steel steps. With a frustrated yell, he ripped Dean's head back before slamming it forward into the top of the steps.

Oh god. She gasped as she stepped forward with the full intent to catch Dean who was staggering. "NO." Dean weakly said as he held his hand out to stop her, even as he fell to his knees. Before he hit the floor, Randy caught him. Yanking Dean's arm, Randy pulled Dean to his feet and pushed him into the ring. Although, Dean's worn-out body only made it inches under the ropes, before laying there like a sacrifice on a slab. A sacrifice that Randy was glad to take advantage of. He grabbed Dean's left hand and climbed up onto the apron. Instantly, Dean's body jolted up as he fought to get free. "No." He said between labored breaths as Randy wrapped his injured arm around the bottom rope.

The ref instantly came over and grabbed Randy's arm trying to pull him off. "Randy let him go!" The ref ordered. "Off the ropes."

As Dean's groan of pain echoed through the arena, Randy's threat from earlier played over and over in her head. He's really going to break it. Just before he got counted out, Randy let go of Dean's arm and let the ref pull away.

Using his good arm, Dean pushed himself back into the corner, propping himself up onto the bottom turnbuckle as he tried to catch his breath. However, before he could, Randy came back around and started to stamp down on Dean's shoulder with a sick smirk on his face.

"Get him out of the corner." The ref called as he started his count.

Angel shook as a raw mixture of feelings raced through her, worry and anger being the top two. She glanced from Dean who looked worse for wear in the corner, to randy who was parading around the ring, not seeming to care that he was giving his opponent a moment to breathe.

Cocky bastard. "Get up Dean." She said not looking away from Randy. "Get up."

She heard his sharp inhale as he reached up with his right arm and grabbed the top rope. Getting his legs under him, Dean pulled himself up to his feet.

Seeming to realize that Dean had been able to stand up, Randy slowly turned around and made his way over. Right before Randy was able to hit him with yet another Big Boot, Dean flung himself out of the corner, grabbing Randy to reverse their positionings. "Atta Boy!" She cheered as Dean threw everything he could muster at Randy, while still holding his left arm close to his body. And she was sure he would have kept it up if it wasn't for the ref pulling him away.

Capitalizing on the fact that the ref had stepped between him and Dean, Randy stepped out from the corner and grabbed Dean; manhandling him until he had a hold of his bad arm again. He then pulled, yanked, and twisted it until Dean was on his hand and knees in the middle of the ring.

"COME ON!" Dean yelled in between labored breaths and shouts of pain. "BREAK IT, I DARE YA!" Angel couldn't stop herself from cringing at his words. She knew he liked to show off his; never say die, I'm indestructible, you're going to have to kill me to get rid of me, attitude but this hit too close to him after Randy's threat. "I DARE YOU TO BREAK IT!"

His taunts seemed to just egg on Randy, who kept attacking his arm. Soon he had Dean on his stomach, while he sat, kneeling on Dean's shoulder while he wretched his arm backwards.

"Come one Dean!" She patted on the apron, trying to rally him with help of the cheering fans.

When Dean finally was able to get to his feet, he looked a bit more haggard than she would have liked but hey at least he made it to his feet. Though it seemed like he was better off on the mat when Randy threw him into the turnbuckles. Randy came racing after. Shock filled the arena when Dean was able to get his foot up at the last second, smashing into the man's face. The momentum of the hit launched Dean's body up so that he was draped across the corner.

When Dean forced himself up onto the top rope, she knew right away what he was going for, but also knew that high-flying moves can end up spelling out disaster. Be careful. She pleaded.

When Dean launched himself off the ropes, Randy spun around just intime to stop the drop kick that was aimed for his chest, sending Dean crashing down on his left side.

"Get up!" She yelled even as he floundered around in pain. Before he could, randy went for a pin.

"One. Two."

A rush of relief filled her when Dean kicked out, only to be replaced by dread when Randy grabbed him and pinned his arm behind him. "No!" She yelled as she watched Randy aim Dean at the steel pole on the far side of the ring. "Randy! STOP!" She raced over before the hit even came. She made it there just intime for Dean to come crashing forward his shoulder smashing hard against the post.

"AHHHHHH!" Dean screamed.

"Oh god, Dean." She screeched to a stop right in front of him. Her body shook as she went to reach for him.

"Looks like your girlfriend wants you." Randy's voice came from above her as Dean's body suddenly spilled over the ropes. Instincts kicking in, Dean's arm shot out to grab whatever he could grab. Which included Angel herself. She felt his strong hand clamp onto her arm. She froze, trying to turn herself into a statue to help keep him up onto the apron, but if he put anymore weight on her, both of them would fall to the ground in a pile. Luckily Dean seemed to notice that because he readjusted himself, so that he could lay fully on the apron.

"Angel, get back!" The ref called as he gestured for her to step away.

Giving her arm a rub, she looked up to meet eyes with the ref who she believed what named Chad, but her eyes quickly shot to the man behind him. Randy was slipping from the ring.

Forgetting all about the order what she had been given, she crossed her arms and turned towards the Viper as his feet hit the floor. He turned slowly towards her; his eyes dark. But she didn't let it faze her as she just crossed her arms.

"You think you scare me?" He laughed. "Get out of my way, or I'll move you." She must have stood in the man's way for a second longer than he liked, because Randy's hand shot out like a blur and pushed against her sternum. The hit sent her tumbling backwards, her feet catching on each other as she tired to catch herself. Knowing that she was going down, she twisted herself so that her back was what hit the barricade. What came wasn't really pain, Dean's hold on her just moments before hurt more than this, but the impact did knock the air out of her lungs and sent her head reeling.

Trying to get ahold of herself, she let herself slide down to the floor. She could hear the crowd above her calling out, asking if she was ok. Blinking away the tears that was building from the fear of the fall, she jerked her head up to see Randy was still punishing Dean's shoulder. It was sickening to watch him systemically tear it apart. He ripped at it, punched it, and rammed it into the steel pole again. He then grabbed Dean by the hair and yanked him backwards, so that he could pick him up and smash his back against the barricade. The look of absolute pain that echoed on his face, made her stomach twist as she wondered how much more his arm could take.

D.D.D.

Every swear word that Dean knew, as well as some that he made up, came to his mind as Randy once again went after his left arm. This time bending it back behind his head. Get a new trick, this one's boring. He thought even as pain seared through his arm, shoulder, and upper chest.

Knowing that he had to find a way to get back some control in the fight, he twisted himself around, until he could get his feet under him. Once he got his footing, Dean swung his right arm around, punching Randy in the side of the head. Each hit loosened the grip on his left arm until he was able to pull it completely out of Randy's grip.

Though before he was able to do anything, Randy stopped his momentum with a knee to the gut. Shit. He hunched over as he fought not to throw up. Breathing in through his nose and out through his mouth, Dean felt Randy's fingers scrap against his scalp as he grabbed a chunk of his hair. He then felt as something yanked on his waist band of his jeans.

Recognizing that he was about to be launched either threw the ropes or into one of the corners, Dean knew that he had to reverse the move. As tough of SOB as he was, he couldn't take another steel pole to the shoulder. He also knew that he had to wait until the last moment to do so, or Randy would be able to just reverse it back. Waiting for the right moment, Dean's vision locked onto the ring post. Right when he felt Randy letting go, he spun on his heels, grabbing Orton as he did. Using the force that Randy had put behind the move as well as his own, he threw the man into the corner. His legs gave out from the speed of the movement and he fell to the mat.

Separation, he needed to get away from Randy. Needed time to get himself back into fighting order. Crawling away from the corner, he made his way into the middle and tired to think of a plan. Glancing at his left arm, he frowned, the thing was dead weight the way it was now. The hit against the barricade seemed to knock his shoulder out of place just enough to make the whole arm tingling and numb, like when you sleep on your arm wrong and it 'falls asleep'. Something that if he had any chance of winning this match, needed to be fixed.

This is going to hurt. He took a deep breath and held it as he threw himself shoulder first against the mat over and over trying to 'wake up' his limb. Trying to get the blood flowing and fast.

"Some of a bitch." He heard Randy grit as he walked up behind him.

Quickly turning around, Dean threw up his right arm blocking the punch that was coming straight for his face before throwing one of his own. Not allowing this second wind to be stopped, Dean fought through everything Randy tried to throw at him, until Randy staggered just enough for him to take control of the fight.

He came at Orton with everything he had, more punches, headbutts, even a few clotheslines. Quickly attacks that kept the man defenseless. He even dared another high-risk move, after Randy reversed his Irish Whip into the corner. Jumping up onto the second rope, he aimed his sights onto the man who was holding his face, from where he had elbowed him and jumped. Twisting his body in midair, Dean rammed his arm into Randy's face knocking the man off his feet. However, he ended up rotating himself too far and instead of landing on his back, he landed right on his left arm.

Hot blinding pain races through his body as he quickly rolled to his stomach. Mother Fu.….god….damn…oww… He punched the mat. Work through it. You've had worse. He reminded himself as he pushed himself up off the mat.

Looking up he saw Randy standing next to the ropes, holding on to him as he tried to catch his breath Without a second thought, he plowed his body into him, forcing him up and over the ropes and watched in satisfaction as Randy's body tumbled down to the floor.

Hyping himself up, he stared down Orton who was trying to make it back to his feet. "Come on." He said under his breath as he waited for the perfect moment. As soon as it came, Dean turned and ran for the ropes. Using them to gain more speed and momentum, he hurled himself at Randy with both arms straight out. Both his hands connected with the man's shoulders, knocking him off his feet. However, due to the fact that his left arm gave out in the middle of the move, his body twisted awkwardly in the air, not allowing him to catch himself, which meant that it wasn't only Randy who ended up hitting the barricade.

Breathing through the pain, Dean rolled himself off his back and onto his feet. He needed to keep on the attack, needed to make sure that Randy was going to be down for a bit because he had plans. He had been good for long enough.

Grabbing Randy, he pulled him towards the ring just enough that he could rip him back and propel him into the barricade again. Glancing down at the man, he watched him for a moment while pacing, when he didn't make any move to get up, he forced he man to his feet and into the ring.

Not caring about what Randy was doing in the ring, he turned away his eyes running through the crowd before landing on Angel. She was standing off to the side, near the timekeepers' arena, a mix of confusion and worry plastered on her face and he didn't like it.

A.A.A.

Angel blinked as Dean sauntered over to her and she found herself unable to breathe. The man looked like an animal coming for his prey, powerful and intimidating. As she watched his chest rise and fall with each of his heavy breathing, watched his shoulders roll with each, she wondered one thing, who was his prey.

When he got within arms-length of her, he didn't reach out for her, he just bent down to her level and planted a hot, sweaty, and deliberate kiss on her lips. He pulled away, he leant in and growled in her ear. "I'm going after Seth."

Breathless and weak kneed from the kiss, she didn't answer him. Though, she knew he wasn't looking for one. The tone in his voice said that this wasn't up for debate, that he was just giving her a warning, not asking for her opinion on the matter.

A low rumble came from the man as he turned away from her. He moved as if he was going back to the ring, like he only wanted a mid-match kiss, only to quickly switching distractions and speed off towards the announce table. Without a care in the world, Dean slid across the table and threw himself at Seth, knocking both of them and Seth's chair to the floor, disappearing for her view.

Still trying to get ahold of herself, she looked up at the Titantron and watched what the camera caught of Dean pummeling Seth. The crowd was eating it up, clapping and cheering as Dean meted out just a little bit of his revenge. With a raspy snarl, he tossed Seth into the barricade like he was nothing before turning back to the ring.

She had to admit she was a little bit surprised when Dean's attention instantly turned back to Randy. When he said that he was going after Seth she had thought that the match was over, and yet, here he was sliding into the ring and rolling up Randy into a pin. He didn't even seem fazed when Randy kicked out. He just hit the man with a clothesline before going for Dirty Deeds.

Before, he could finish the move, Randy was able to push him away and turn it into a powerslam. She hissed as Dean's second wind seemed to come to a stop right there. However, instead of going for the pin like she thought he would, Randy's face turned dark as he reached down and pulled Dean from the mat. Without much trouble he tossed Dean threw the second and middle ropes, making him stand bent over on the apron. Pausing for just long enough to give her a twisted smirk, he pulled Dean back into the ring just enough that his feet were hanging onto the ropes. 'Vintage Randy Orton'. She could practically hear Michael Cole yell as he readied for the elevated DDT.

Though before he could finish the move, Dean slipped his feet from the ropes, ducked down so he could get Randy up and over the ropes. She stepped back as Randy landed on the floor in a heap, she was already reading herself for what was coming, another Suicide Dive. She just hoped that this one didn't end up like the last one because if it did Dean was going right into the announce table.

Drawing in a breath, she watched as Dean came running back towards the ropes, though as he went to dive through a blur of movement came, followed by a loud thud and suddenly Dean was laying on the floor with Seth and Randy looking over him. It took the ring bell going off signaling the DQ for her to realize what had happened. Seth had hit him with his briefcase.

"Get him in the ring." Randy ordered Seth who was already picking Dean up off the floor.

Her eyes widened in horror as her body and mind seemed to finally kick into gear. "NO!" She yelled as she pushed herself away from the barricade. However, she only made it two steps before being caught. Looking back over her shoulder she saw the ref was the one holding her back. "Let me go!"

"It's too dangerous." He told her.

"I said let me go."

She fought to get free, trying anything she could think of but all she could do was watch as Randy laid Dean out with and RKO. "Move!" She begged. Seth and Randy were ripping at Dean, pulling and tearing at his taped-up shoulder until they ripped off the bandage. Randy then held Dean down, pining him to the mat his knee as Seth ran over to the corner and climbed up to the top rope.

Angel froze as if any movement on her part could spell trouble for Dean. She even held her breath. That was until the entire arena was filled with cheers, cheers that she knew wasn't more Seth. Head shoot up, she looked around and spotted Roman running down the ramp as fast as he could his eyes locked right on Seth.

Before Seth could even register what was happening, Roman jumped up onto the apron and pushed him from the ropes. Relief flooded her as everyone's attention turned to Roman, allowing Dean to roll out of the ring, getting away from the madness that was going on inside.

Roman had come for blood. He landed a Superman on Randy and immediately set up for a spear. However, his plans were interrupted when Seth pulled Randy from the ring and the two men made their retreat while Roman's music blasted through the speakers.

Breaking free from the ref, at last, Angel took off for the ring. She slipped under the rope and practically crawled her way over to where Roman was helping Dean in.

"You ok?" She asked as she lent over him.

"Peachy." He groaned. "A RKO really clears the sinuses."

Angel leant back against the wall as he waited for Dean to get checked out by the medics. Now that she was away from all of the chaos of everything that had happened, she was irritated. And funnily enough it wasn't due to Seth and Randy. Sure, she was mad at them, pissed off that they had DQed the fight and beat up Dean the way they did, but she almost expected that. No the person that had her blood boiling was the ref.

She didn't care whether or not he had really held her back to keep her safe. Because he in doing so he had stopped her from helping Dean, or at least trying to help him. She was only thankful that Roman came down when he did.

"Easy Babygirl." Roman chuckle from beside her. "You're going to turn someone to stone with that look."

She wasn't totally sure what kind of look he was talking about; she did know that if it matched the way she felt it wasn't very pleasant. Just as took a deep breath to clear her head and turn her focus on worrying about Dean, her eyes landed on the very person that had her feeling this way, WWE Referee Chad Patton.

All the irritation from before rushed back to her. Without a second trough she pushed herself from the wall and marched up to the man. Stopping in front of him, earning her a taken back look.

"Can I help you?"

"Yeah." She barked out. "You can tell me what the hell that was out there."

"I don't know what you mean."

"Why did you stop me? Why did you hold me back?"

"Why?" He looked at her like she had grown a second head. "Because if I didn't, you would have put yourself into danger getting into the middle of everything."

"Ok, but if you're so worried about me putting myself into danger, then why is this the first time you've stopped me? Huh? Why this time over all the other?"

"B-because I've seen how far you are willing to go to help Dean and I didn't want you to get hurt."

"But you were ok with Dean getting hurt?"

"I didn't say that."

"No, but while you were 'worried' about me, you let them attack Dean. If you were so worried about people's safety, why didn't you try and stop them?"

"The match was over what was I supposed to do."

"YOUR JOB!" She screamed.

"Once's a match is over, I can't really do anything."

"Bull shit." Aggravated tears filled her eyes. "I've seen you stop fights before, hell you've pulled Dean away from Seth before. So why when Dean needs you do you just stand there 'protecting' me?"

Chad sighed. "We were told to make sure you don't get hurt."

"You were told what?"

"The higher ups told us that they were worried about how reckless you were being and asked us to keep you safe."

"The higher ups? So the Authority." He looked away, giving her the answer that she needed. "You mean the people who were attacking Dean told you to keep me away from the fight." She laughed. "Really?"

"Angel…" He sighed. "What was I supposed to do? Go against an order that my boss gave me?"

At his words, she calmed. He was right, what did she expect him to do? He was doing this job. "I just…I… I'm.."

Chad patted her on the shoulder. "I understand." He gave her a small smile. "Don't worry about it." She nodded with a blush. "I think someone's looking for you."

She looked back to see Dean coming out of the trainers' room. "Yeah,"

"Have a good night, Angel."

"You too."

Feeling almost numb she walked over to the two boys who were chucking their waters while talking. When she stepped up to them, Dean looked up and smirked. "There she is." He cocked his head. "Everything ok?"

She nodded. "Yeah. You ok?" Her eyes landed on his newly taped up arm.

He gave it a roll and smirked. "Better than ever."

She shook her head. "Sure, you are." She stepped around him and leaning into the trainers' room she called. "Is he cleared?"

"Yes, just barely though." The medic called back at her. "He needs to rest that arm. I almost didn't clear him for the House Shows."

"Thanks Doc." She said turning toward Dean who just shrugged his shoulders. "Just barely cleared is better then ever?"

"For me?" He paused. "Yeah."

"Let's go. I wanna get out of here." She said with a yawn.

"Tired?" Roman asked with a chuckle.

"A little bit." She answered.

"Well, rub the sleepiness out of your eyes because the nights not over. We got celebrating to do."

"Celebrating?"

"Yeah that's what you do on Fourth isn't it?"

The Fourth. She had completely forgotten that it was the Fourth of July. "Oh yeah, I guess drinks are in order then."

Dean laughed as he slung his right arm around her shoulder. "Damn right they are!"

Quickly the three of them made it down to their things and got ready to head out. Angel let out of a deep breath as she stretched her arms out above her head. It felt so nice to get the heavy leather jacketed off and to be free once more. She then debated whether or not to change into something other than her black t-shirt and her jeans since they were going to a bar but ultimately, she couldn't be bothered and just threw on a new layer of deodorant before zipping up her bags.

Turning towards the boys, she saw that Dean had changed out of his sweaty tank top and had peels the tape from his hands but didn't bother fixing his hair or changed out of his ripped jeans. She also saw that he was texting away on his phone.

"Who you texting?" She teased, skipping him up to him.

"Your mom." He glanced up. "She's worried about my arm."

"Yeah?" She smiled. "And what did you tell her?"

"The truth."

"Which is?"

"That I'm fine."

"And what did she say?"

Dean sighed. "To ice my shoulder and take a nice long shower."

She smiled as she hundred percent believe that her mom had said that. Dean's phone buzzed in his hands, but the man paid no attention to it. In fact, he seemed to steer the subject away from it. "What were you talking about with the ref? Did he make a dirty call that I wasn't aware of?"

She sighed; she should have known he saw her before. "Apparently the Authority has ordered the refs and officials to keep me from interfering because they are 'worried about my safety." She used finger quotes.

Dean went to say something, but he blinked and made a face. "I'm not sure how I feel about that. On one hand, I agree but on the other, Authority ordered it so I don't." He pursed his lips. "Shit that's a hard one."

She gave a fake gasp. "Are you actually going to side with the Authority?"

"I um…" He cleared his throat. "No? Maybe?"

"Ew."

"Ew?" Roman stepped back into their small area. Turning, she saw that he had gotten changed into street clothes; jeans and t-shirt, as well put his hair up in a bun. "What's 'ew'?"

"Dean's siding with the Authority on something."

Roman's mouth fell open as he stared at his best friend. "You what? Have you lost your mind?"

"Wow, I'm going agreeing because it has to do with her safety." He put up his hand.

Roman shook his head. "Ok I missed something."

"The Authority gave the officials an order to stop her from interfering with whatever happens, because 'they are worried about her safety."

"Ah."

"Yeah and as much as we all know they have other motives for this then just keeping her safe, I have to say I'm for this one."

Roman nodded. "I'll give you a pass on that one."

"No." She said shaking her head. "He doesn't get a pass. Whether or not the end justifies the means, he's still siding with the Authority and no one gets a pass from that."

"But he's kind of in a tough spot on this one." Roman stated. "If he goes against them, he's saying that he's ok with you getting into trouble."

"So."

Dean laughed. "Do you remember when you said you were scared that she was starting to take after me? Yeah, I see it now."

"I told you."

She rolled her eyes at the two men. "Did you really expect anything else?" She laughed. "I've been managing you two for the last five months, you didn't think that I would start thinking like you at least a little bit?"

"Well, if you think like me now," Dean pulled her into him. "you should know what's on my mind."

Looking into his eyes, she tired to think of a funny one liner to throw at him. She knew that he wanted her to say something dirty, but she also knew that he would make a joke if he did. "You're thinking about how much you really want a drink."

He smirked. "You really do get me, don't you?"

"Sometimes."

"Sometimes is better then most." Roman chuckled. "Now can we stop lollygagging around and get going, I'm starving."

"First of all, lollygagging? Second, we were waiting for your ass."

"We'll I'm here now. So let's go."

Grabbing their things, they headed towards the parking lot and found the Escalade. After playing a few rounds of luggage Jenga, they pilled into the car.

Almost sagging in her seat, Angel leaned back against the car window and let her eyes close. She couldn't wait to get the bar and just relax. They had a couple of very hectic days coming. Tomorrow, she and Dean were off to Colorado while Roman went to Canada. Then Sunday they would meet up for a house show, before heading to Montreal for Raw. Then they split up again, Roman going to Ottawa for a prerecorded for Smackdown, while Dean and her flew across the world to Japan. Which they would be in Tokyo for two days, then Osaka for two days before flying back to states for Money Night Raw.

She let out a deep breath as stress started to come calling. A night of relaxing was just what the doctor ordered. However, when Dean parked the car and she opened her eyes what she was greeted with was far from relaxing. Staring straight out through the windshield, she tired to comprehend why she was looking at what looked like a warehouse.

"Uh? Dean?" She turned towards the man in the driver seat. "What is this?"

"What do you mean?"

"This doesn't look like bar." Though she wasn't sure, she had seen some weird looking bars. People like to turn anything into a place to drink.

"Who said we were going to a bar?"

"You two did."

"When?" Roman asked from the back.

"You said that were going to celebrate since it's the Fourth."

"True, but we didn't say anything about a bar." She opened her mouth, but nothing came out. She was baffled, which seemed to make Dean smirk. "Just trust me."

Letting out a nervous laugh she looked at the warehouse again. "Why does this seem like a horror movie?"

"Just get out of the car."

Taking a deep breath, she did just that and was suddenly hit with the sounds of music and people talking as well as the smell of food cooking. Lost for words, she looked across the car to Dean who had his signature smirk on his face as he gestured for her to follow him.

Her eyes went wide as they rounded the building. She didn't know what to expect but this once it. The warehouse itself had two large garage door that were open letting her look into the industrial styled house, where she saw Renee, Paige, and Eden standing at a rather large bar off to the side. While just outside the doors was Jon, who was poking something on a grill, and Cody and Dustin Rhodes who were sitting at the long picnic table munching on a bowl of chips that sat in the middle.

"I…"

"Surprise." Dean came right up behind her and whispered into her hear. "Happy Fourth of July."

"How?"

"You remember earlier today when you thought we were up to something? Well, this is it." She looked back at him.

"You did all this?"

"Yeah, kinda. A friend of mine from the indies owns the warehouse and is letting us use it. Roman helped get some of the food and booze and shit, and the grill is Jon and Renee. So it was a team effort but I'm like the foreman or party planner or whatever."

"Why didn't you tell me? I could have chipped in."

He shrugged as he put his hand on her hips. "I had a feeling that normally right about now you would be sitting outside somewhere, having a cook out, listening to Aunt Nancy talking about her daughter…uh….Lexi?" Angel nodded. He was right that would be exactly what she would be doing right now, if she was home. "So, I wanted to surprise you with Dean Ambrose's famous Fourth of July party."

"Famous?" She chuckled as she looked over her shoulder at the six people, not including her, him, and Roman who were attending this 'famous' party.

"Eh, this year it's a little small. Comes with beating everyone up for the last two years. But hey, I found out that Cody and Dustin don't 'hate' us."

"I think the fact that you invited them is the most shocking things about this."

"I didn't." He said. "Renee texted me, asking if she could invite Eden, I said sure. Then about three seconds later I got another text asking if it was ok that the Rhodes brothers came since Eden and Cody are married."

"Oh?" She glanced back. "I didn't know that."

"Neither did I."

Shaking her to get her back to the topic at hand, she said. "So, what makes this party famous?"

"Well, you'll just have to find that out on your own. But afterwards I do expect a full report."

She laughed. "I'll be sure to write one out, do you want it in MLA format?" He drew his brows together. "You know like format that you do for research papers in school?"

He made a face. "One I'm older than you and schools like to change shit up all the time. Also, to remember what kind of format I was supposed to use means that I did the work." Why doesn't that surprise her. "Anyway, we don't have to worry about any of that, the report is oral." A shiver when down her spin as his voice dropped lower when he said the word 'oral'. "Now go and enjoy yourself, before Renee marches over here and yells at me for hogging you or something."

"She would."

"Damn right she would."

The two of them finally started to the party and Jon turned around from the grill. "I was starting to wonder if you two were going to stand over there all night." He wiped his hands off his pants.

"You know how it is." Dean said as if that made any sense.

"So how was the show?" Jon asked. "I only got to catch the start, so I didn't see your match."

"It was fine. Beat the hell out of Randy and then got the shit kicked out of me."

After giving her a glance, Jon said. "That good huh?"

"Randy threatened to break Dean's arm." The words poured from her without warning.

"Ah." Jon took a deep breath as he gave her a soft look. "Sounds like your in need of a drink. So why don't you go inside and grab something. That way you can say hi to the girls and I get something started on the grill for you." He told her. "There's also a bunch of other crap to eat in the kitchen because your man doesn't understand the term enough is enough.

"Hey, I tried to make sure to have something for everyone." Dean defended himself.

"There's like three types of potato salads in there."

"What cookout is complete without potato salad?"

"None, but we didn't need three different kinds."

He shrugged. "I couldn't decide which to get so I said fuck it. Anyway, it's your fancy New York stores that you have blame. I walked over to the deli and said I need a large container, and they were like, 'what kind? Do you need creamier, or thicker? Do you want red potatoes or purple?' They even asked me what kind of large container? Like I didn't know I was ordering at Starbucks. Fucking hell." Dean said planted in himself on the bench of the picnic table, next to Roman.

Imaging Dean standing at a deli counter, looking both annoyed and confused as he looked at the different types of potato salads, Angel couldn't help but laugh. It fit so well for Dean just to be like, 'give me some of everything' so that he didn't have to think about it anymore.

"Imma get that drink." She said trying to stop laughing. "Anyone else need anything?"

"Jack and Coke?" Dean requested with a sweet smile.

"Come up." She said turning towards Roman.

Roman held up his half empty water bottle. "I'll get something else in a bit."

Nodding, she turned away from the boys and walked inside the warehouse. Her eyes ran around the building and she still couldn't believe what she was seeing. Judging by the outside, someone put a lot of work into this place, it looked like something you would see online selling for millions.

"Finally!" She heard Renee as soon as she stepped into the living room. Looking over to where the voice came from, she smiled when she saw Renee standing behind a bar holding out a bottle of wine. "What the hell took you so long."

"Sorry that I had to pick my jaw up off the floor." She said walking over. "You know since no one gave me a heads up."

Raising a brow at the accusation, Renee sighed. "Dean was the one who said to keep it a surprise."

"She's right." Paige said turning around on her stool. "He was so adamant this morning when he asked if I wanted to come that I thought this was a birthday party or something."

"Way too soon for that."

"Yeah, Renee said your birthday was in November, right?"

"Yep. November first."

"Oh god!" Renee's eyes widened. "If he did all this for the Fourth, just imagine what he'll do for your birthday."

"Girl." Paige elongated the word as she held up her drink. "Make sure I'm invited to that party."

"Same."

Ignoring the two girls who were planning for something that was months away, Angel rounded the bar and looked around to see what was available. "We got any Jack?" She said not seeming to be able to find the bottle on shelf.

"Here."

She turned around to see Eden holding the bottle up. "Thanks." She gave her a warm smile as she took the drink.

"Oh! Hey have you two officially met?" Renee asked.

"I mean, we've done interviews together but never personally shook hands and said hi."

"Well, knows the time! Angel this is Brandi, Brandi this is Angel."

Angel turned to the woman that was sitting across the bar room her and blinked. "Brandi?" She cocked her head. Her name's not Eden? She could have sworn that everyone at work called her Eden, could have sworn that Renee called her that earlier today. Was she going crazy? Did she just imagen that.

"Eden is my stage name." She explained as if she could hear all the questions that were running through Angel's mind.

"Ah." Now she felt bad that she never cared enough to exchange names with the woman.

"Yeah, but don't worry about it." Brandi said with a sincere smile. "I get that a lot."

"I've been wondering, why do you use a stage name?" Paige asked. "Not that there's anything wrong with it, if there's one place to use a stage name it's professional wrestling. I mean I'm pretty sure Fandango isn't his real name."

Chuckling, Brandi shook her head. "Eden's my middle name and I thought it sounded more mysterious than Brandi, so I went with it. And now it's too late to change it."

"Never too late." Renee told her.

"It's fine. I'm used to it."

"Well, if you ever want to change it let us know. We'll make the whole world question whether or not you ever went as Eden."

"Hell yeah!" Paige and Renee high fived.

Laughing at their antics, Angel turned back to the bottle of Jack that was in her hands and reminded herself that she was trying to make Dean a drink.

"Kitchen." Renee said pointing to the open plan kitchen that was just feet away.

Angel's eyes widened. She knew that Jon had said Dean had gone a little overboard, but this wasn't what she was expecting. The large island countertop was piled high with different types of food and drinks. Her eyes skimmed around to see about ten different bags of chips, the three containers for potato salad, a fruit tray, a veggie tray, and a cheese tray. She then saw the four different slow cookers that sat next to the stove and the pile of cookies and other sweets that sat next to them.

Running her fingers through her hair, she took a deep breath. What in the hell was Dean thinking? What were they going to do with all that extra food? They had to catch a flight tomorrow morning; they couldn't take this with them. Trying not to think about it, she locked eyes with the case of Coke that sat on the floor next to the island. She walked over to get a can and sighed once more as she now noticed the three cases of beer, the six packs of Twisted Teas, and Mikes hard lemonade.

Grabbing a Coke for Dean and a Twisted Tea for herself, she walked back to the bar. Shaking her head, she walked over to where she had set the bottle of Jack Daniels and took the glass that Renee was handing to her.

"So, Angel, you excited to be heading out to Japan soon?" Paige asked.

She answered with an excited nod. "I am. I've always wanted to go to Japan, it's like a dream of mine. What about you? You must be excited as well. I heard you have a program with Foxy."

Excitement wasn't what appeared on the woman's face. "Yeah, I wanted to do something with AJ but apparently the WWE Diva's Champion can't be bothered to go to Japan." Angel could feel the anger coming from her. However, the woman seemed to turn a one eighty and she gave a sweet smile. "What's on your docket."

Angel sighed. "I wish I knew. The last time I looked it said something about Dean and Roman taking on Seth and Kane, but it also had that lovely asterisk next to it saying,"

"Subject to change." They call said together.

"So yeah, I have no idea. But I do have a feeling that whatever Dean is doing has to do something with Seth."

Brandi chuckled over her drink. "I would be too scared to put him in any other program."

"That's because you're smart." Dean's raspy voice came from the opening of the garage door. Everyone looked over as he made his way towards them. "And if the higher ups are smart they would just put me in a program with Seth because it doesn't matter who they put me with, I will find a way to smash my fist into Seth's very punch able face."

Snickering, Angel held up the drink that she had made.

"Thanks darlin'" He took it and sipped it. "Perfect, just the way I like it. A glass of Jack Daniels with a splash of Coke."

Angel noticed Renee reach over and tap the open can of Coke. "A splash? You mean a drop? That's a full can of Coke. You might as well just have a glass of Jack on the rocks."

"What are you drinking?" He asked leaning over to see. "Wine? Well, that's just smashed grapes, you might as well just drink grape juice." You could hear the spite in his voice. "Oh hey, Jon told me to come and let you know that the burgers and hotdogs are almost done. So, grab a plate and load it up and let's get munching."

"Finally!" Paige clapped her hands. "I'm starving."

"I hope you are because we have a mountain of food to eat." Angel said pointing back to the kitchen.

"Ok, maybe I'm not starving that much."

The kitchen suddenly filled with a hectic rush of people. Everyone was doing just as Dean said, grabbing plates and loading them up. Angel squeezed through, getting a little bit of everything she wanted before grabbing her bottle of Twisted Tea off the bar and moving to sit at the picnic table.

It wasn't long until the table was full of plates and drinks as everyone came out to join her. It also wasn't long until they realized that one picnic table wasn't going to be enough two the nine of them. Thankfully Jon had some of those canvas folding chairs in the back of his truck that he pulled out, which left the four women, Cody, and Dustin at the table while Jon, Dean, and Roman took the chairs, opting to eat over their laps.

"Everything is so good." Renee let out a over exaggerated moan as she took another bite of her burger. "My complements to the chef." Jon smirked as his girlfriend as he chewed his own food.

"She's right." Roman said. "You might be taking my grill master title in the group."

Dean snickered. "Like damn you ever had that."

"Never heard you complain."

"Food is food man."

"Huh uh, I'll remember that for when you come over again."

"I thought Angel and Dean were the ones dating, not Roman and Dean." Cody laughed to himself from across the table.

"Angel's the girlfriend, but Roman is the wife." Paige picked.

"Wow!" Roman held up his hands. "Why am I the wife?"

"The hair." Dean said not missing a beat making everyone laugh.

Grinning to herself like an idiot, Angel tried to open her drink as she looked around the table. With the way they were laughing, no one could tell that they all worked in a high pressure, toll talking workplace. No one could tell that Dean had his arm torn apart just hours ago. She could hardly see it and she lived it. They all needed this. Needed a moment to just be people, away from the limelight, relaxing with each other and having fun.

When she felt a light smack on her arm, she looked over to Dean to see he was holding out his hand for something as he listened to a story that Dustin and Cody were telling about their dad. When she drew her brows together, he pointed to the bottle that she had been fighting with for the last few minutes.

"Thanks." She passed him the bottle.

With an easy flick of his wrist, he opened it and passed it back. He gave her a wink before turning back to the conversation at hand.

Taking a sip of her drink, she watched Dean as he chuckled and stuck his tongue out. She realized that this was the first time that he saw him getting along with people like this, people that wasn't Roman, Seth, Renee, Jon, or her family. She almost felt proud. She knew he wasn't one to let his guard down very often, and that was before what had happened a month ago…

A month ago. Her stomach fell. It had been a month since Seth had turned on them. June 2, 2014 a date that her, Dean, and Roman would never forget. Tears brimmed in her eyes but she quickly batted them away. No, she wouldn't let herself get sad. This was a joyous day. A day of celebration. Not just because it was the fourth. It had been a month since the Authority thought they laid out Dean and Roman, and here they were still standing and being bigger thorns in their sides then they were being before. Dean was ruining Seth's plans every step of the way and Roman was now going after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Is this what you were expecting? She asked Seth and Hunter as if she could talk right into their minds. Did you really think they would just sit down and take the beating? You don't know them as well as you thought you did. You can't break them that easily.

Dean loud laugh made brought her from her thoughts to see him waving around his fork full of potato salad. "You know..." He cleared his throat. "your dad was the reason I decided to use my real name when I came to WWE. He said that my name fit my style better then Jon Moxley because I had a James Dean to me."

"For real man?" Roman asked. "I never knew that."

"Yeah, Dusty had my back when I joined FCW." Dean said finally eating the food he was waving around. "'You gotta own it, Dean. You got to come out of that shell of yours and don't be afraid to be you. They will love you, for you.'" Dean said with a lisp that mimicked Dusty Rhodes.

Cody laughed. "That was pretty good."

R.R.R.

"Everyone to the dancefloor!" Renee yelled as she turned up the music that was playing out of the speakers that apparently was installed around the outside of the warehouse. "It's dancing time!"

Roman chuckled as the four women ran towards the open parking lot, well as three of them ran while Angel was dragged along by Renee and Paige. However, once she was out there, she didn't miss a beat and started dancing with everything she had.

"How does it always come to this?" Jon asked over the music. "The girls go off and faun while we just sit here watching while sipping our drinks."

"Hey, if you want to join them, you are more then welcome to." Roman looked back at the man did what he was talking about just moments before.

"Yeah man, go out there and swing those hips." Dean joined in the teasing.

"Hey, I just might." Jon laughed. "And when all I do, you all will be jealous because of how god damn good I swing these hips."

"That's some big talk." Cody said. "I mean have you even seen Dustin shake his ass?"

Jon's eyes widened as his head snaped to Dustin. "Shit right, your Goldust. Damn it I can't compare to that."

Dustin brought his hand to his chest. "You don't know just how much that pleases an old man like me." He said in a very Goldust way making everyone laugh.

Taking a drink, Roman glanced over to Dean and saw that he had that look on his face. The one that meant he was up to no good and it was aimed right at the girls who were dancing in abandonment. "Dean?" He questioned.

The smirk grew as he hopped up from his chair. "I'll be right back." He took of for the warehouse.

"Should I ask what that was about?" Cody shook his head.

Roman shook his head. "I wouldn't." He sighed. "Because I have no idea what he's up to. The whole 'lunatic fringe' shit. But knowing him, it's not good."

"I always thought that his unpredictable 'crazy' ways was just something he did in the ring to confuse or intimidate his opponents, like Goldy and I."

"Nah." Roman shook his head. "That's just Dean."

"Shit man. He must always keep you on your toes."

Roman shrugged. "Sure, but life's never boring."

As if on cue, Dean came running back out with one of the large boxes of fireworks that they had brough earlier today. He set it on the ground right behind Roman's chair and grabbed one of the larger containers inside. Cranking his neck, Roman was able to read that it said 'Booming Fountain' on the side.

"Dude what are you up too?" He asked even though he already had a feeling he knew.

"Just watch." Dean told him grabbing the grill lighter and taking off towards the girls.

Taking a deep breath, Roman grabbed the bridge of his nose and watched his best friend as the man stopped far enough to be both out of the line of sight of the ladies and safety away. Don't be stupid. Dean lit the fuse and stepped back.

"Oh boy." Jon sighed just as the parking lot was filled with flashing colors, loud crackly noises, high pitch whistles, female screams, and cackling laughter of Dean Ambrose.

"Fucking hell!"

"Dean!"

"Not cool Ambrose!"

"Now he's in for it." Roman chuckled as Dean fought off the four women. He used his left arm to defend off the onslaught of slaps and hits, while he reached out with his right arm and wrapped it around Angel's waist pulling her into him, so that he was practically holding her off he ground.

"Ro!" Dean called catching his eyes.

"Sorry Uce! You did this to yourself!" He shook his head as girls walked him up against the tailgate of Jon's truck.

"Ah!" Dean yelled as he turned himself around so that the hits were no smashing against his back. "Alright, Alright. I'm sorry. Stop!" The ladies stopped almost instantly, though Paige did get him one finally smack for good measure and stepped back. "Damn ladies, you hit hard."

"That was nothing, you grabbed our powerhouse." Renee pointed to Angel who was still dangling from Dean's arm.

"Oh, I know." He nodded. "Why do you think I grabbed her. Oh no, I'm not stupid, I've seen her in the gym punching that bag, I aint signing up for that."

"Speaking of being grabbed." Angel huffed. "Can you put me down?"

"Only if you promise not to hit me."

"I promise!" Her words broke into a shrill laughter as Dean swung her around in his arm. Until she was standing in front of him, looking dazed.

"Every time I see those two together, I'm in awe just how much she had him wrapped around her little finger." Jon said as Dean helped Angel fix her clothes.

"The sad thing is I don't think either one of them realize just how bad it is." Roman told him.

"What?" Dustin drew his brows together. "How the hell don't they see that?" He pointed at the couple who was leaning against each other as they chatted to, Paige, Brandi, and Renee. "How long have they been going out?"

Roman shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure, they hid their relationship for a bit." He tired to think back to when he and Seth had caught Dean texting her. "I'm going to say mid-March some time."

"Wait?" It was Cody's turn to be taken back. "They've only been together since March? I could have sworn it was longer than that, at least since the Raw after Royal Rumble."

"They didn't even know each other back then."

"They didn't know each other?"

"Who didn't know each other?" Brandi asked as she leant over her husband's shoulder to grab her drink.

"Angel and Dean." Cody turned towards her. "They didn't know each other before he came out to save her from Randy."

"They didn't?"

"Nope." Roman shook his head. "I mean we saw her in passing when she was shadowing Renee, but they never talked before that."

Brandi to a drink and smiled. "To have such a visceral reaction to someone he didn't even know, that's some love at first look shit."

Roman scratched his beard. "That's what my wife Galina said." He glanced over to Dean and a feeling of guilt hit him as he thought back to the night that he was laying in bed with Galina worrying about his two friends. It had been when he realized that Angel was going to Vegas for the first time to spend their down time with Dean. He knew what kind of man Dean was, had seen the man get laser focused on one woman, only to drop her as soon as they had sex, because he got what he wanted from her. He never blamed Dean for the way he was, but now he had to worry about him hurting someone else that he cared about, not just some random chick they met at a bar one night.

Galina had tried to ease his worries telling him that Angel was good for Dean. I never doubted that. The words he told his wife echoed in his head. It's not him I'm worried about. Galina he's still in there and as long as Dean still carries around Moxley, I'm worried he'll go back to his old ways.

Sipping his drink, Roman watched as Dean lead Angel towards the tables, his arm was wrapped tightly around the woman's waist, and his signature goofy look was plastered on his face as he looked down at her.

You said he acted as if he couldn't help but protect the girl, what if was like love at first sight for him. He heard Galina tell him. When he remembered what he had said in the moment, Roman's stomach twisted. I don't know if Dean's even capable of something like that. Love isn't in Dean's repertoire.

Forcing back the lump in his throat, he took a swig of his drink and ran his hand through his hair. His eyes landed back on his brother and he sighed. Never before had he regretted something as much as those words.

D.D.D.

Dean smirked as Angel pushed out of his grasp so that she could rummage through the box of fireworks. He couldn't believe how good his plan as gone over. It was just a little prank, but he hadn't expected such a reaction from the girls. But it had been well worth it.

"So how you feeling after your ass whopping?" Jon asked with a chuckle.

Dean looked up and shrugged. "Sore, but it could have been worse. I made sure to take out their top player first."

"Like you do."

"I wouldn't joke." Renee warned. "Have you seen how quickly she's been learning?" She pulled out her phone.

Dean's interest peaked as he walked around to look at whatever Renee was about to pull up. It was a clip from the show earlier today, back when he had come down to the ring interrupting Seth's promo. While Randy and Seth ganged up on him, Angel rushed in to knock Seth away.

He didn't know what was worse, the fact that he had no idea this was going on while he laid in the middle of the ring, or the fact that he couldn't stop his fist from clenching when he saw Angel grab onto Seth in order to keep herself from falling.

"Wait for it." Renee told him as Roman's music started up.

In the video, Seth's head snapped towards Angel who was still holding onto him. "Get off!" He yelled at her before whipping his arm around, sending Angel running for the ropes.

Dean clenched his jaw as he waited for the impact, but what he saw made his eyes widened. As if she had been doing it for years, her body pivoted at the last second, her arm shot out to grab the top rope, and she leant back into the hit.

"Shit." Pride filled him as he turned to look at the woman who looked up at him. "I show you how to run the ropes once, and now you're a pro at it." He chuckled.

"Wait what?" Roman perked up in hid chair. "Who's running the ropes like a pro?" Renee rewound the video and passed her phone to Roman. "Damn Babygirl! It won't be long until you're the one in the ring with us on the side lines."

Angel shook her head as a blush built its way across her cheeks. "First of all, I am nowhere near that ready."

"That's true." Paige smirked. "She needs to learn how to lock up first."

Curiosity sparkled into Angel eyes and Dean couldn't help but lick his lips. "Wanna learn?" He asked. When she bit her lip and nodded, he took a deep breath and gesture for Paige. "I'm sure you've seen us do it." He told her. "It's a go to start for a match."

He turned his attention to Paige who was hunching down with her hands out in front of her, ready for him to give the signal. In a normal match the bell would be the signal but since they happen to have a ring bell on them, he gave her a nod. Snapping into action, both of them stepped forward and reached at each other.

"You wanna reach out with your left arm and grab your opponent by the back of the neck. They will do the same." He explained as Paige and him did just that. "Then, you'll take your right hand and grab up their left arm. Just like this." Stepping back, he glanced over at Angel who was nodding as she watched them. "Now, you want your movements to be in sync, because if you miss time it, you're pretty much guarantee to find yourself in a headlock." Without warning, he grabbed Paige and pulled her into a headlock just to prove his point. "See."

When he let Paige up, he noticed the glare that was plastered on her face as she rubbed her chin. "Watch it Ambrose." He heard her mumble as she stepped back.

"Sorry." He simply said as he reached his hand out for Angel. "You're turn."

Angel's eyes widened but she took his hand and let him pull her to her feet. "Run me through it once more."

Just as he went to square up with her, he sighed. He wasn't used to locking up with someone he had such of height difference with. Lately he had been fighting mostly guys who were either the same height or taller than him.

"Are you going to be able to reach his neck?" Roman teased as he apparently thought the same thing. "Might wanna start with someone shorter."

Angel stuck her tongue out at him. "I've never had a problem before."

Everyone chuckled.

"Alright then." Dean said as he got into position. "So we need someone to be our bell."

"I'll do it!" Renee raised her hand as fast as she could.

Dean nodded. "When she gives the signal, you're going to step into me, grab my neck with your left hand and my arm with your right. You ready?"

Angel took a deep breath and locked her attention onto the spot on his neck that she was supposed to grab. "I'm ready."

He let his eyes flicker to Renee. "Ding, ding, ding!"

Slower than he had ever had since finishing his training, he hunched down and locked up with Angel. "Good." He smiled at her. "That's good. Now faster." He stepped back.

"Ding, ding, ding!"

They locked up, faster this time. He felt her left hand slip a bit but other then that it was pretty good. "Faster."

They stepped back from each other before waiting for Renee. Angel's eyes ran from his neck to his face, and he smirked at her. The signal came and they launched themselves at each other. But before he could register whether or not the lock up when as plan, he felt as Angel's fingers wound through his hair, tugging his head back. He was pretty sure that she had done it to stop her hand from slipping but it still sent a shot of pleasure down his spine.

Trying to fight the groan that was hitched in the back of his throat, he coughed and gave his neck a crack. "That was good." He said his voice still sounding raspier than he would have liked. "Real good." He cleared his throat. "Just one thing."

"Yeah?"

"Hair pulling is illegal."

Her jaw dropped. "Oh! Sorry, I didn't realize I was." A guilty look filled her face.

"Don't worry about it." He told her as he stepped in towards her as if he was reaching for his empty glass from dinner that was on the table. "I didn't mind." He said in a low rumble in her ear. "I'm going to get another drink, anyone what anything?" He snapped back up and held up his glass.

"Just use the already opened Coke, I put it in the fridge." Renee told him.

"Sure thing." He said as he went to turn away, but not without his eyes flickering down to Angel first. Smirking he took in the look that was on her quickly reddening face. It was one that he was glad, only he could see.

BrookeWorm3: Slice of life is one of my favorites to right. It just feels so real and lovely. But even in life, things get kind of hot and heavy. Lol so don't worry more hot and heavy Dean and Angel but it'll come in doses.

Katara Melody Cullen: So originally I had AJ Lee going after Angel but I like her too much. SO I switched it to Eva Marie, who I don't like at all. Lol fun fact.

Canadice: Oh you'll love what happens when Dean finds out about the Eva drama I'm sure of it.

Labinnacslove: Angel is growing and Eva is well Eva.

Sonia: I'm glad you liked the chapter. Japan is going to be fun. I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do for the tour but I got a couple idea up my sleeve. I hope you liked at least part of the party. This one got too long I had to split it into two.
