Back with Xana, he was talking with himself.
"Maybe I could join the Sumeragi. Then I'll show them all who's the best! They'll all regret tossing me from project Gunvolt!" Xana laughed.
Xana then had a realization.
'Wait a second. Asimov was used in the project and he was a success. But why then did they create GV? Either because Asimov escaped and they wanted to see how the Septima affected someone or check if Septima's had a different effect on lab created beings.' Xana thought.
"And then again, I'm kind of glad I was taken back. That way, I wouldn't have to suffer the experimentation anymore." Xana added.
Xana sighed.
"What is this I'm experiencing? It's a feeling of sympathy I believe. Is that what humans call it? I thought only humans had emotions. Oh well, I was created by a human. So, I suppose Franz is to be at fault." Xana theorized.
Back at QUILL, Zeno was looking over some files. He was surprised when he got a call from what seemed to be a different QUILL office.
"Hello?" Zeno spoke.
"Hello. Is this the QUILL office in Japan?" the woman greeted.
"Yes." Zeno replied.
"Oh thank goodness. My name is Makayla. I'm the leader of the American branch of QUILL. We just experienced a code black and are recommending all other branches defend their data." Makayla finished before turning off the call.
'Huh? What's a code black? I'll have to ask Asimov.' Zeno thought before starting to walk over to where Moniqa and Asimov were talking.
"Hey boss, we're the only QUILL office in the world right?" Zeno questioned.
"There's a QUILL office in every country." Asimov notified.
"Okay, just wanted to make sure." Zeno commented.
Inside the sanatorium, Nori and Ms. Francine were in Mytyl's room when they heard someone shout. Nori and Ms. Francine then ran to the window before seeing Naomi kneeling on the ground outside. Nori rushed down to the basement.
"There's a Mantis outside. Naomi went out and tried to take it down. Now she's definitely out of the battle. I think you'll have to take matters into your own hands." Nori notified.
Copen nodded before going outside. Lola tried using Igniter in hopes of curing Naomi, but it was no use. So, she tried using Shred Storm, but that didn't work because the tank's core wasn't out in the open. Lola then contacted the Lyoko group.
"We have a problem. A mantis tank is here and Naomi's taken a critical hit. We can't take much more up here!" Lola and her SOS message then cut out.
"But what about my father? What can we do for him?" Aelita questioned.
"I think a return to the past is in order. What do you guys think?" Jeremy spoke.
Everyone else agreed.
"Let's get back to the Factory then." William smiled.
The group then ran to the exit door for the Cafeteria. However they were stopped by Jim.
"Hold it! Just where do you all think your going!?" Jim interrogated.
"Well, you see Jim, we're just going to the park really quick before curfew. We were studying together for history but completely forgot about our science project." Ulrich lied.
"Do you think I'm stupid Mr. Stern?" Jim teased.
Ulrich shook his head.
"No sir." Ulrich stuttered.
"Well, I'm going home. Buy guys. See you tomorrow." Yumi beamed before leaving.
"As for you four, three hours of detention tomorrow for suspicious activity!" Jim yelled before leaving the Cafeteria.
Jeremy then called Yumi.
"Can you initiate a return to the past? G. I. Jim won't let us get off campus." Jeremy spoke.
Okay, no problem but Aelita will have to walk me through it." Yumi replied.
"I want to check out if anything happened to my home. So, I'll tell you how to do it while I'm walking." Aelita informed.
"Okay, just give me a bit." Yumi remarked.
By the time Yumi reached the Factory, Aelita was at the Hermitage.
"I know Franz had the files somewhere!" a male voice yelled.
When she heard the person throw something, Aelita backed up a couple of steps with her eyes wide in fear.
"Okay, I'm here Aelita. Aelita?' Yumi spoke.
"Yumi, someone's here. They threw something." Aelita panicked.
"Okay, let's do a return to the past. That'll fix everything." Yumi assured.
Yumi then initiated a return to the past after Aelita walked her through the steps.
