Chapter 107 Sewer Fight

In the sewer, Wulf and Meglar were continuing to roll across the ground locked in combat. The two bit and clawed at one another leaving scratch and bite marks all over their bodies that were bleeding heavily. After taking a big claw slashes to the face Meglar kicked Wulf off of himself and scrambled to his feet and pulled out what appeared to be some kind of knife.
"I was saving this little beauty incase we needed to escape from a large group of Imperial Forces, but I decided to use it on you. You're about to go out with a bang!" Said Meglar with a cruel smile.
Wulf looked at the knife closely as he got to his feet. He and Tucker had traveled to the darkest and most violent places of the Amitrax System encountering many dangerous and twisted individuals who used varieties of deadly weapons. The knife Meglar was holding was no ordinary knife, but a blade equipped with a powerful explosive. Meglar most likely intended to stab Wulf with the knife, activate the explosive, and hurl him into the water to explode. Wulf needed to act fast and do something unexpected if he wanted to survive.
"It's time to die dog. Don't you worry I'll send your little your way after I'm done with you." Said Meglar before he leaped forward and swung the knife at Wulf.
Wulf managed to dodge the knife and he tackled Meglar sending them flying and crashing into the water. The two of them sank towards the bottom of the sewer. Meglar wasn't to concerned by the situation since he had gills and could breath underwater. He could simply just hold Wulf down here and keep him from going to the surface and getting air into his lungs. Meglar would enjoy drowning Wulf.
Wulf knew that Meglar was completely confident in his combat and underwater abilities and believed that victory was in the bag, but Wulf had a few tricks up his sleeve to turn the tide of battle. Wulf let go of Meglar's body and slammed both his hands on Meglar's gills taking the shark alien by surprise and made him gasp and thrash around in shock. Wulf quickly took this opportunity to grab the knife from Meglar, activate the explosive in it, and stab Meglar in his right shoulder. Meglar cried out in pain and stared at the knife in shock as he saw the explosive had been activated. Wulf kicked off on Meglar's chest and began to swim to the surface as fast as he could. Meglar desperately tried to pull the knife out of his shoulder, but it was already to late. Wulf reached the surface and was pulling himself out of the water, when the bomb exploded.
Kaboom!
Wulf was hurled out of the water and sent crashing into a wall. He slid down and groaned as what was left of Meglar's head landed next. Wulf scowled at the severed head before he kicked it back into the water and watched it sink. The Rebel decided he was going to rest for a bit before he chased after Tucker and the others.
In another part of the sewer, Maddie was still chasing after two pirates, who were trying to catch up with their four bomber comrades. Unfortunately for the bomber pirates, they ended up running right into Fright Knight and his assault squad, which consisted of Vid, Download, Thrash, and two dozen Stormtroopers. Fright Knight pulled out his lightsaber and quickly dispatched the four startled pirates before they had a chance to use their blasters and explosives. The last bomber collapsed to the ground dead as the two pirates and Maddie arrived on the scene. The two pirates immediately began firing their blasters at Fright Knight, who easily deflected their shots, before he ran at them and killed them with his lightsaber. Fright Knight glanced down at the two pirates he had just killed before turning his attention to Maddie.
"Well this certainly is a surprise. One of the Rebel's little Jedi and by the looks of you, you must be one of the few, who escaped Order 66. This be my lucky day." Said Fright Knight.
"And you must be Fright Knight. I've heard about you. Vlad's newest flunky." Said Maddie.
"I'm no mere flunky! I am a servant of Darth Vader sent out to deal with the Rebels and any Jedi fighting alongside them." Said Fright Knight.
"So you say. Well why don't we put your skills to the test." Said Maddie as she took up a fighting stance.
"No one interfere. This is between me and the Jedi." Said Fright Knight to his squad.
Fright Knight's forces stepped back a little ways as Fright Knight and Maddie faced off. Fright Knight struck first by leaping forward and swung his lightsaber down at Maddie, who blocked his attack. Maddie went on the defensive as Fright Knight rained blow after blow down on her. Fright Knight advanced forward pushing Maddie back. Maddie could see that Fright Knight was a skilled swordsman and had a connection to the Force, though he wasn't as strong with it as Vlad. Maddie decided to go on the offensive. She ducked a swing from Fright Knight and stuck back at him forcing the knight to retreat back. Maddie continued to strike at Fright Knight forcing him back towards his squad and the dead pirates.
It was then that Maddie came up with a crazy idea on how to deal with Fright Knight and his squad. Maddie delivered a Force push to Fright Knight sending him skidding back and nearly crashing into his squad members. She then reached down to one of the dead pirates taking one of their and tossed it into the air above between herself and Fright Knight and his squad. Maddie concentrated and used the Force and in one fluid motion pulled out a tiny blaster, she had holstered on her waist and fired at the explosive in the air. The blast struck the bomb and it exploded.
Kaboom!
The celling up above came tumbling down blocking the area between Maddie and the squad. Fright Knight cursed angrily as Maddie turned and walked away. That little blockage would hopefully help but some more time for Danny and the others to complete their mission. Maddie just hoped her children were ok and that everything ran smoothly.
