"Why don't we turn on the news?" Yumi guessed.

Jeremy then turned on the Japanese news on the radio, since he knew the news reporter's equipment would definitely be fried.

"Hello, my name is Saya Ishikawa and you're listening channel 67 news. Japan has just experienced a solar flare. The power was down for ten hours. Sadly, at least 400 people died in intensive care units in hospitals. It has been shown that a vast majority of all electronics across Japan are fried beyond repair.

The only electronic devices that weren't damaged after the flare's occurrence were devices that operated on radio waves and waves lower on the spectrum." The news reporter spoke.

"That's weird. That was supposed to be Xana's attack, wasn't it?" Jeremy muttered.

"His attack was to sabotage the power generator at the sanatorium here. I stopped him this time. He's dead. I absorbed his fraction of the Azure Striker Septima. But since the solar flare wasn't caused by him, there was no way to stop it." Naomi elucidated.

"Then how are we still communicating?" Jeremy queried.

"Because you're on your earpiece for the interface. It uses radio waves. That's why my com's working to. So I'm using it to contact you." Naomi explained.

"But the thing is, how are you going to get power to all of Japan?" Odd wondered.

"I don't know yet Odd. But let's hope something turns up soon." Naomi replied.

"Wait! Jeremy, aren't the power grids attached between states in the U.S.? Can't we do that with continents?" Aelita asked.

Jeremy shook his head.

"No can do Aelita. It's a good idea, but we can't do it because the equipment won't work. So, they can't use the power due to the fact that their equipment to use the power is dead." Jeremy answered.

"What about sending metal from here at the Factory to Naomi? That way she can help build and send out solar power generators." Aelita recommended.

"That sounds like a great idea." Yumi agreed.

"I second that notion." Ulrich added.

"So, all those in favor of sending metal to Japan, raise your hand." Jeremy ordered.

Everyone raised a hand.

"Well, that's all for and no against. So, let's get started." Jeremy spoke.

"Wait, why don't we throw a party in the gym and make people pay an admission fee? Then Naomi could use money and possibly her Metallion Septima to make the generators." Yumi recommended.

"I'll ask Mr. Delmas." Aelita agreed.

"And I'll ask Jim." Ulrich confirmed.

So the two went their separate ways. Luckily because of the return trip, Franz's memory stayed after being arrested so he knew what to do. Back with Zeno, he was talking with everyone about the code black.

"This does sound serious. I'll go lock down our system now." Moniqa spoke before going to the servers and shutting down the system.

Franz was at the Hermitage wondering and going over several scenarios in his mind about how the Supercomputer was suddenly discovered. Back at Firmament, Nova was looking for another way to capture Naomi.

'She visits Kadic Academy with those people who tried to defeat me. She would definitely come here if I held them hostage. So, that will be my next course of action. And to make sure she visits Kadic and monitors her. Luckily, I know just the person for that.' Nova thought.

Back with viper, he was with his gang again watching a recording of Lumen's concert for her song 'Sakura Efflorescence'.

"Man this song's great!" one of the lackeys smiled.

This person was no other than Luke, Viper's right hand lackey. Luke had gradient hair that was pastel blond on top and sand brown on the bottom. His eyes were brown and his height was 6'0. He was wearing a black leather jacket with spikes on the collar.

There was a red drop on the back of the jacket, symbolizing blood. He had a black shirt, black pants and black boots.

"Any news from Nate yet?" Viper interrogated.

Luke shook his head.

"Nothing yet." Luke answered.

Nate was Luke's best friend. He looked exactly like Merak but 5'3. Viper met them when they bumped into him while running from the cops. They robbed a corner store of all their money and some food. Viper hid from the cops along with Luke and Nate.

Viper was impressed and asked the two to join his gang. Luke and Nate gladly accepted Viper's invitation. Suddenly, Viper received an incoming call from Nova.

"I need you to return to Kadic Academy." Nova notified.

"What for?" Viper interrogated.

"Naomi visits there quite often. Those people with her that intruded once attend there. If we hold them hostage, she is most certain to return." Nova elucidated.

Viper nodded.

"Gotcha, I'll just wait for Nate to come back then I'll go out." Viper smirked.

"Excellent. I look forwards to hearing our success." Nova smiled.

Viper then ended the call.

"So, let's hope we can get her to cooperate." Viper muttered to himself before walking out to find Nate.

However, Nate slammed the door open and slammed Viper int a wall.

"Watch where your going! Ya hit the boss! Nice job!" Luke ranted.

"I'm outta here. Your in charge Luke." Viper informed before giving Luke his handkerchief and walking out the door.
