Chapter 109th

"Doctor Rolaids are you interested in Chinese food or a Turkey Club sandwich? Loreile asked with his plate to be made with Gibbs pouring the good doctor's black coffee just like his.

"Chinese food sounds good to me Loreile. I was eating a meatloaf sandwich when I had gotten the call. And believe me, I like my wife's meatloaf, but not some 12 hours later after being in the operating room." he said.

Loreile, Shannon, and Alex sat down at the table. While James and Gibbs were sitting on the couch listening. Loreile had placed her laptop in the middle of the table with the medical file brought up onto the screen for Rolaids to read while he's eating.

"Tell me Shannon has there been any breast cancer in your family history?" he asked with taking a bite of the egg roll.

"None. It was why I was shocked that I had found out from a routine mammogram in California. I had one of those a year before had come up negative as to why this was happening in the first place." she commented.

"I find this strange. I will need to check the computer with reading the technician's report on having to find cancer in the first place," he states making Shannon think otherwise.

"I do hope Doctor Rolaids that you're able to help in the short and long run?" Shannon said.

"In most or all cases using the Cell regeneration program has helped 99% of the patients including Jethro. In his case, we didn't know it was going to work since his condition was critical and we decided to use it while in Somalia, Paraguay. However, we will be taking a number of tests including cells from the cancerous areas of your breasts. Do you happened to know whether any of cancer had traveled to any other parts of your body?" he asked for which was an excellent question.

"No. It was three weeks ago before heading for a vacation to have the doctors do those very same tests to check my organs and including the kidneys that cancer hasn't spread at all." Shannon responded.

"Excellent. Nevertheless, we will still be doing the tests just to make sure anyway," he said with taking a shrimp off his plate and popping it into his mouth. I will set up all of the tests in the morning along with when a room will be available for you, Shannon?"

"Thank you, so much for your help Doctor Rolaids. When is Doctor Richardson going to be joining the team as with Doctor Gilbert?"

"Tomorrow." he cries out with taking another bite of his shrimp with Gibbs, James, and Alex having been highly amused.

Meanwhile giving the doctor a chance to take a look at the medical files on the computer. He was finding it interesting nevertheless with the shake of his head.

Shannon had been watching tv with the rest of the group. "Is there a problem doctor?" she asked.

"Not a thing. I don't see any problems when it comes to the program. It's just going to take an extra few days." he announced with his intel.

"Doctor, is there anything else we should know about Shannon's medical case?" Leroy Jethro Gibbs had to know as with Alex.

"Nothing than the usual testing, blood, urine, biopsy along with a cat-scan, MRI, and EKG to check your heart. he responded.

Loreile had come downstairs getting the spare bedroom in the back for Doctor Rolaids to be staying with his go-bag. He was going to stand up asking to be excused for needing to be talking to his wife Ann in Ct.

"Of course Doctor!" Gibbs said. "When you're done with your calls. We will show you to the guest room with the boys next store with the nursery. They are quiet at night." Gibbs had to respond to have the doctor chuckling.

Shannon will be the one to ask. "What's so funny?" she was finishing up the last of her diet cola before going home and hopefully will be entering the hospital.

"When our two boys were that age. They were never quiet at all." he quipped with his words.

THE NEXT DAY

Doctor Cyril Taft intervened with helping out with the doctor's Gilbert, Richardson and Rolaids were able to have an operating room scheduled in three days, while Shannon was asked to come to the hospital for admission, paperwork, and insurance for the most part.

Loreile was thrilled that Shannon's case was being received positively all of a sudden along with the local press.

Local tv channel WABC for the Washington, D.C. region wished to do the special SAVE A LIFE segment, and Shannon Fielding Gibbs Anderson was selected. Reporter James Avery working for the station for ten years will be doing updates with interviews.

When Shannon had arrived at the hospital with her husband Alex to join her for the interview. Walking up to the main emergency entrance she was asked to say a few words.

"Mrs. Anderson I am James Avery for the SAVE A LIFE segment. I must commend you for taking this gamble with using the Cell Regeneration Program," he asked with the cameraman on her face.

She wasn't a bit nervous with her husband holding her hand. "Thank you. However, if it wasn't for my daughter and her husband. I would have never made the decision. Since you and your TV segment will be updating this story. I am hoping to be saved."

She and her husband headed inside to begin her new life. "I am so proud of you, Shannon?" Alex replied with a kiss to her cheek and the camera catching it for tonight for a segment for the story.

"Did he say what time it's going to be on tonight?" Shannon said to her husband.

"6.30 P.M. channel seven. I have Gibbs and Loreile taping it in case we miss it." he responded.
