"I do think that Loreile. Maybe Shannon will be able to come around once I tell her that the Cell Regeneration Program does work. You just have to have faith for the most part Loreile?' he will say even though didn't need to know this since she by his side during those times that could have destroyed their marriage.
"Do you want me to call her with Kelly having left with being the last to leave?" she asked even though her husband was having a hard time about it.
"I will call her." he pulled out his cell-phone not knowing whether she was going to be up.
After their sex in the living room making it interesting nevertheless. She told her husband that she was going to try and sleep on the couch. While leaving her cell-phone on the marble coffee table on vibrate.
Though she was feeling some pain. Her husband didn't hold back with his sexual antics and she was able to let go so to speak. And she did enjoy herself for the first time in such a long time. Alex complete like a man finally since he was able to please his wife with her permission ever since finally out about cancer.
She was feeling restless with just one light blanket. She still suffers from hot flashes with getting her period at her age. But she had never gotten pregnant since she doesn't like to use birth control pills and devices.
Wouldn't that be something to wind up pregnant at her age? She heard her cell-phone vibrating thinking that it might be her daughter at this hour.
However, she had taken a look to be her husband number one from years ago. She felt nervous since had no choice but to answer it. "Jethro I find this odd for you to be calling me at this hour of the night?"
"I am a night owl at times. However, I will need to blame it with being in the hospital and the endless traffic coming in and out of my room." she chuckled as with Gibbs. "So why the call Shannon?" being serious this time with his ordered demeanor.
"I made a decision to let you know a complete truth, Jethro. The reason that I have been acting quite strange with my altitude. It's the fact that I have stage four breast cancer. I heard Kelly and your wife Loriele talking about the Cell regeneration program." she said...
"It has a 99% success rate for all types of conditions Shannon. Do you want me to call those doctors and set up a meeting between you, Alex, and the doctors to discuss the options?" Gibbs needed to say for the subject.
"Please Jethro call them?" she begged." It doesn't hurt to try since I am already dying and my doctor in California had said that without the further treatment I will die in six to eight months." she cried out with the response of her dying and hearing her husband of the past taking in a deep breath.
"Shannon I am so sorry to be hearing this and all of the sufferings you're been through. I do hope that Alex has been very supported as well?" he asked with Loreile having had the doctor's names on her contact lists in case any issues had arisen.
"He had Jethro a great deal. Even though any man can go so far when it comes to his own pain and suffering. Especially for when it comes to our marriage? But hopefully, we will be able to enjoy our lives again?" she cries over the phone.
"Shannon please don't cry?" he said with his response.
"I just can't help it nevertheless Jethro. Anyways just let me know whether you're able to contact the doctors?" she said.
"Jethro, Doctor Rolaids wishes to speak with Shannon?" Loreile had to say with handing the phone to do a phone to phone call even though it will be weird for the most part.
"This is Shannon, Doctor. What would you like to know about my cancer?" she asked.
"I will be driving down to Washington, D.C. since I am located at the Ct. Medical Center. Please in conjunction with Bethesda hospital. I will be able to use Doctor Cyril Taft's office to speak and take a look at your medical files. I will leave a message with Taft's answering service."
"You can call Doctor Mitchum of the Los Angeles medical center the head of the breast cancer department. He will be able to send the files electrically via email." Shannon needed to say..."What time do you want me at his office?"
"Doctor Taft will call you when everything is set up for the meeting and discuss the options with using the Cell Regeneration Program. We will discuss how to pay for this procedure along with any insurance issues that might arise. Good Night and please try and take it easy."
Loreile hangs up the phone as Gibbs doing the same to have Shannon feeling slightly better.
Shannon turned to face her husband with his head a mess from sleeping on his pillows. "Feel better now Shannon?" he came over to be standing in front of her on the couch.
"I will when I talk with Doctor Rolaids. Hopefully, he will be able to come up with a solution." She will say to her husband that a smile growing on her face.
"Well in that case are you going to come to the bedroom and try to sleep in my arms?" he placed a soft kiss onto her lips feeling good that things might be the same again between the both of them.
"Of course Alex and maybe a few other things we can do together in bed," she mentions all of a sudden to Alex with a blush since he was never like this before.
