Mamoru POV

I had to find a way to make this meeting end quickly. We had just had one recently and this seemed more like an excuse on Seiya's end to see Usagi again. I'm not a fan of him around my Usa and while I don't mind her talking to the princess of their planet since she's a sweet woman, very caring and cautious of the people of her planet she has an agenda and a reason to be cautious of others.

Usagi knows this and works with her on this as we hold the same reasons to be cautious to. So when the princess visits Usagi gives her the full respect she deserves yet their princess does the same in return for Usagi. If anything I'd go as far as to say that she gives Usagi more respect knowing that she is essentially the future Queen of both earth and the moon, AND is a senshi herself. The battle adornment gives her more respect in that manner.

Not to mention the praise that Seiya gives towards her in kind which I appreciate as part of his job as a senshi to, however, his usually comes with strings attached. I know he not only has a thing for my Usa but also does what he can to tease me about it in front of her since he knoes anything between he and her will NEVER happen. He does this knowing she doesn't see him as anything more than a friend but enjoys mocking me with it.

Plus, after the last meeting with his antics I had had enough. I had had it with his comments about my leaving for America and that it took my dying to make me realize I needed to stay in Japan. Though there was an underlying comment that he'd 'take care of her' if I was ever gone again. That left me that evening ready to beat on him as I went home stewing in my own anger towards him.

So, I had to concoct a way to get her to leave the meeting so that I could get my scent all over her and make him see that there was no chance in heaven or hell of them being together. Make him stop making his little comments and see that there's no chance of him in her life like that even IF I were gone. Perhaps some might see my moves or motives as petty or out of jealousy being that I know she loves me and no other as she does, yet that doesn't seem to stop him from making his winking little comments.

She tried a few times to get him to stop but he always played them off as harmless jokes and sarcasm. Reality was whenever I saw his face when she wasn't looking, I saw the seriousness in them and knew he'd dive right into taking a chance if one was presented to him. So, I needed to show that whatever chance he THOUGHT there MIGHT be was nonexistent. I didn't die several times over just to lose her to some other guy.

This will do, hopefully, just that. I just needed a swift plan of action to get her riled up enough to WANT to temporarily bail on the meeting. Granted if she went into the meeting smelling like me that would be preferred yet would be a little too obvious, so I wanted something after the meeting started. Right when they were getting comfortable, I would enact part two of my plan but first I needed to get part one done.

Now if only Seiya would be as dedicated to her and not trying to tease me about Usagi. Yes I know Haruka did it to but I knew for a fact that Haruka only had real eyes for Michiru. I could strongly see them getting married when they felt the time was right, I didn't see Seiya holding any eyes for any other than my Usagi and that needed to stop. Haruka was legitimately teasing, Seiya was hiding his seriousness behind it.

There was a difference. So when we got there we sat down and began the discussion. "So it seems the doc to be was able to make it." Seiya joked. With a hint of 'that better not happen EVERY time he talks' look. "That's good, now onto business." Taiki tries as Seiya adds on, "Yes, wouldn't want to keep the future doc away from his patients." The jab was more so at me, so I didn't buzz her on it, but she did notate that it was a tone of sarcasm. "When that happens Mamo – chan is always a dedicated man, and I an understanding woman to know that patients and their medical ailments need attention." She defended while Taiki muttered, "Or not."

I jumped in, "In any case Taiki as you were saying let us get to the business end of your visit here today." Taiki seemed to appreciate the chance to get to the actual topic of conversation even as he shot Seiya a look of 'shut up'. One would hope and wish that that was enough to get the Star fighter senshi to lay off but after five minutes of Taiki discussing how well the planet has been rebuilding Seiya was clearly getting bored.

I decided to add on, "That's actually quiet amazing that all of this has been done so far." I compliment as Taiki takes it in. I can see that there is a line of respect he and I have for the topic at hand. One that goes beyond future king to senshi and one that lies in common goals and interests. However this is short lives as Seiya asks, "So who wants to eat? I could go for a burger, Usagi, a hot dog?" I look over curious on his motives.

Usagi however remarks, "That does sound good." He orders as Taiki throws his in towards Motoki, then I throw in the same as he does before trying to get back to the topic at hand. That to only lasts for about five minutes, maybe ten before the food arrives. Apparently it's a slow day at the arcade today so we get it quicker than usual. It doesn't occur to me till its to late on WHY Seiya suggested the hotdog to Usagi.

As I glance over from my own burger and see her hungry eating away at it Seiya eyes her with interest.
