Gather around children, today, I have a very special Sonic Boom friendship headcanon story for you all.

Knuckles and Amy friendship story: Amy and Knuckles start off a mission together with a little friendly rivalry, who ever knocks down the most robots wins. Not so tough, right? Well… "Ha! 29!" "86.." "W-wha? Well… uh… 53! 54! GRRRRUFF! Haha! Take that!" Knuckles rolls one robot up and bowling balls it into a line of others. "That makes.. let's see.. 103." He dusts off his hands by slapping them against each other, looking smug as Amy is up on a cliff, and lets a huge ball of broken robots roll into the masses of them all, bouncing around as Robots are getting crushed and thrown and mutilated by this wrecking ball. Amy jumps down, pushes her hair up from behind a bit, and looks to Knuckles. "I'm pretty sure that's the mass majority. Dare to count?" she tilts her head, being cute but rubbing it in as Knuckles looks shocked, and then glares down at her. "You think you're all that, don't you, PINKY." "Well,-" Amy chuckles slightly, and tosses her hammer up, allowing it to spin once, before catching the handle again. "at least I can chuckle about it later…" she winks. "Besides, your a big guy, isn't there some other game you can play besides 'knock the robots out'?" She walks away, going to complete the mission as Knuckles is fuming mad. "I told you to stop saying I can't chuckle! *cough cough* see! I can chuckle! *coughs again*" So upset with the fact that Amy bested him, he keeps trying to come up with more and more challenges for him and Amy to do. In the end, Amy keeps besting him. "Just give up already, geez. My back's gonna give out." Amy states, leaning forward with her hand on her back. "This is the one! The game that will win it for me and finally prove I'm stronger!" "Why don't you just battle me?" "B-battle what now?" he turns back to her. "Yeah, that's a great idea!" She leans back, cracking her back as she rolls her shoulders out. "You and me, a friendly spar. Mano a mano." Now, Knuckles has never fought a girl before, and since he doesn't feel like hitting a girl is right, he struggles a bit in the match, awkwardly poking or gently tapping Amy as he dodges her hits and tries to land a few of his own. "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Amy finally stops battling, looking at him as he twiddles his fingers and looks away. "W-well.. I was raised not to hurt a girl so-" Insulted, Amy throws her hammer at his face. "That is true. But I willingly jumped into this fight, ergo, I want you to hit me." she summons another hammer and gets ready. "Don't worry, I can take a hit." Knuckles then looks at his hands, worried… but turns them into a fist and looks at Amy with a glare. 'Okay, just think she's a dude! It'll work if you picture her as a dude!' "And don't picture me as a dude to help you, that's weird!" 'Dang it!' "Fine! I'm going!" Knuckles pounds his fist together and goes for a blow, surprisingly, Amy blocks and takes half the force of his hit. "See? No biggie." Amy then uses his force against him to throw him over herself and land on his face. "Hehe, they say the bigger they come, the harder they'll fall. Haha!" she laughs, as Knuckles tries to take this seriously. He then asks Amy for sparring lessons, which she agrees too. In the end, the mission is interrupted by the enemy, whose hunchmen is huge and far bigger than themselves combined. "Uhh… Knuckles?" Amy states, looking up at it as it completely fills the field with it's shadow. "Y-yeah, Amy?" Knuckles voice shakes, but tries to not look like he scared, although he does swallow hard. "Remember what I said during our spar?" "The bigger they come, the harder they fall?" "Oh yeah." Amy looks to him, as he looks to her, and then the two of them look at the henchmen with the most devilish grins. "Let's have some fun!" Amy and Knuckles state, as they race off to their master plan, and end up defeating the giant henchmen, scaring off the enemy. They high-five and share some 'Whoo-hoos!' together before heading home, arm around the other, like good friends coming home from a good day done.
Tails and Amy friendship story: Tails asks Amy for some help around the workshop, as he seems to be falling behind on an experiment of his. "Trust me, it's not going to hurt one bit." "Uhh…Tails? When you asked for help, I was thinking more of 'hand me the dinglehopper' not-" We zoom out to find Amy strapped to a table, machines and cords all over the place, and things moving and randomly glowing lights everywhere. "Help with making Frankenstein's wife." She nervously says the end. "Don't worry! I promise, everything will be okay." he pats her head. (This line should be said as he says it in 'Sonic Adventure 2' to the little chao when he rubs their heads. XD ups the humor.) Amy tries to relax, taking deep breaths, but every time she sees another invention going off, she sweats more and breaths harder. "Alright! Here we go!" Tails pulls down a lever, and Amy shuts her eyes as everything starts going off. Finally, the mist clears as it seems Tails has made a miscalculation. "*cough cough* Ugh… opps, I guess I need to put more thrust-modulating systems into the overall design.." he picks up a cord, seeing it had ripped by the power pulsing through it, and cords fly out, zapping everything. "Oh well, I guess no modified vision, hearing, or super strength. You okay there, Amy?" Amy gets up, and Tails realizes something horrible, as he unties the straps. "OH NO!" "Tails? Tails are you there? Can you turn on a light for a moment, I can't see anything. In fact, I kinda can't feel anything either… Tails? Tails are you there?" Tails has accidentally made Amy blind, deaf, and not able to feel ANYTHING. As he walks her into the hub, almost treating her like Helen Keller, she walks straight into a wall, but doesn't have a reaction on her face. "Didn't you feel that?" "…." "Still can't hear me… oh boy." The others find out and push Tails for a remedy, as he gets hard to work on fixing her. The first experiment he does brings back her feeling and hearing, but she's still blind. "You know Tails, next time you ask for assistance, I'm gonna have to say no. I hope you can understand." Amy teases, sitting and kicking her legs on a high table. "Y-yeah…" Tails doesn't really laugh, as he is scurrying to find a way to get her vision back. Hearing the frantic and quick pacing of his voice and movements, she gets down and stumbles over to where he is, hands out to touch something that she may run into, and pats the table that he's working at with her hand, before he finally stops and sees her looking for his hand. He places it under where her hand will look next and she takes it, taking out the tool in his hand and smiling, patting his hand. "I don't blame you, Tails. It's okay, we'll get out of this mess and I'll be seeing again real soon. I believe in ya, Tails!" "Oh Amy.." Tails looks away. "I just feel this is all my fault! And I can't rest till I fix you, I mean… I just have to get this right!" he swipes his hand out of her hands and starts working again. Amy looks sad, hearing the metal and tools clanking vigorously again. "Oh Tails…" sadly, though. Eggman uses a new machine of his to break the barrier around the hub, and starts invading it. With Amy blind, the others try and keep her their while they go fight. Upset that she is being treated like a handicap person, she summons her hammer and walks out the door, steadily and carefully, feeling the wall around her to know where she is. She uses her hearing to find intruding robots and fights them off from getting inside the house/hub while the boys fight in the fields. When they return, they find a pile of robots by Amy, as she looks around. "Guys? Is that you?" She holds her hammer up. "IT'S US! HOLD UP! DON'T SWING YOUR HAMMER!" they all panic, worried she may attack. In the end, they see she's not so vulnerable after all, and working along Amy, Tails finally finishes his device, and heals Amy's blindness. "Thanks Tails, I knew you could do it." "I..I wasn't gonna allow myself to lose faith and give up… though I'll admit… I was scared you may be like that forever…" He looks away, and Amy can now see the guilt he must of been feeling the whole time for his actions. She gives him a hug and smiles, laughing. "Even if I was blind, deaf, and couldn't feel. I wouldn't allow you to sulk! Nor would I allow my team to fall behind on their missions to saving this place." she then leans out of the hug and winks to him. "Your smart, Tails. Let's consider this little … uh… 'incident'… an extreme trust exercise." "A trust exercise?" "Trust fall!" Amy turns around, hands out to her sides, and starts to fall. "Ah!" Tails catches her, and she opens an eye to look up at him, and together, they laugh.
