Chapter 118th

Right away Director Leon Vance brought up Special Agent Tobias Fornell's cell number onto the screen needing to discuss the two murders of Phineas's adopted parents.

Tobias was sitting at his desk going over the two files that were sitting in front of him with the first one just received from a source about the shooting across the street from Gibbs's house.

He was beginning to think there was a connection going on with the return of Shannon and Kelly Gibbs. If this is the case his friend Gibbs, Loreile, and his family is going to be in trouble for the most part. But what he doesn't understand is why involved Phineas. As he shakes his head with his cell-phone going off in his black coat sitting behind his chair.

Getting up quickly to grab it to find that it's Director Leon Vance of NCIS. "What can I do for the Director of NCIS?" HE QUIPPED WITH HIS COMMENT.

"I need to find out on whether the bureau had gotten involved with the latest murder of two having been shot. Both of them were the adopted parents of Phineas the close friend of Gibbs," he said to get his attention.

"I know Director. I have the file sitting in front of me sir. I will be heading out to check it out. Currently, I am running background on Lorraine and Maurice Murphy. I have a feeling that they might have a dark past before coming to Alexandria, Virginia to bring Phineas to the house that has a history of murders."

"Please keep me updated if anything comes up Fornell?" Vance needed to say...

"I certainly will Director and be sure to have Phineas protected at Gibbs house even though the D.O.D. had an agent watching his family?" Tobias said with confidence with his demeanor.

"Thanks." Vance hung up the phone to head back to his work.

Gibbs after kissing Shannon good night and heading out of the hospital to pick up Chinese food for everyone at his house. He has a feeling that Phineas is going to stay at his house for a long time.

Once Gibbs had left Shannon. Doctor Rolaids after getting some rest. He came into the room to see how his patient was doing.

"I am doing okay Doc. Just nervous for the most part with tomorrow to be a long day for everyone," she said...

"It will be Shannon. Everyone is to be there in the operating room early to have set up the equipment before beginning with the procedure."

"When will I be knocked out before coming to the operating room?" this was one question she had forgotten to ask with the question.

"One hour prior before bringing into the prepping room and then eventually inside to set up the equipment on you in order to monitor your heart before shutting it down four times while the exchange is being done with your blood and then with the cancer cells." he will say to her even though she really wasn't able to understand some of what he was saying.

MEANWHILE...

Special Agent Tobias Fornell and his partner Robert Ells with his since coming back to the F.B.I. They had arrived at the house across from Gibbs.

The door wasn't locked with the police banner across it. The both of them entered carrying their weapons just in case.

Walking into the kitchen area. Both men started to check the counters and including the draws for anything that might pop up.

"I am going to check the bedroom in case, Tobias," he said to his partner with turning on the light heading upstairs to be somewhat eerie by his standards.

Walking into the bedroom. He found it as if someone had been in here searching for something after all of the police, fire truck, coroner, and NCIS had left. He checked the closets to find that all of the clothes had been thrown off as well.

He wasn't able to find a thing as he headed downstairs in order to report to Fornell shaking his head.

"What did you find Ells?" he asked in a gruff tone of voice.

"The bedroom had been raided with the draws and closets. I wasn't able to find a thing," he said.

"I am wondering on whether they have a vault of some type that is hiding inside it?" Tobias said with starting to look before the photos on the wall and don't you think they found it. "Well take a look at this Ells?"

It wasn't locked as Tobias with the blue gloves on his hands pulled out documents inside that appear to be Russian.

"What is it, Tobias?" his partner had said to him.

"Now I know what is going on? They are sleeper agents having to know just too much with having adopted Phineas making those think that they were normal parents," he said to him while shaking his head.

"I just don't get it, Tobias? but why now?" Robert Ells had to say...

"Maybe it has something to do with my friend Special Agent Gibbs of NCIS. Come on let's get out of here and head back to the office?" he will respond with a yawn.

They headed out of the house to get into their black SUV back to the regional office. Tobias's head was pounding after all this. Those were days when he had the same headaches working on the high-profile cases MOSTLY involving NCIS, F.B.I., and C.I.A.

Gibbs had finished up with picking up the Chinese food before heading home. He was interested in what his friend Tobias was up to at Phin's house on whether he was able to find anything at all.

Stopping on the side of the road with pulling put his cell-phone bringing up his friend's number onto the screen. "Tobias were you at Phin's house?" he asked with looking through the windshield for anyone watching him.

"Yeah, we were Jethro. We found a document behind one of the pictures telling us they are Russians as sleepers. Otherwise, we have nothing else to add to it, Gibbs. When I do, I will be sure to tell you."

"By the way, I need for you to look up a partial plate that has been tailing me ABC3 a blue SUV and I wasn't able to see the driver's face."

"I will look it up Gibbs once I am back into the office. I will leave you a message on your voicemail when I do." he will say over the phone.
